"Kicco Italian Coffee, one of Boston’s most anticipated fall openings, is now serving espresso-based drinks, croissants, pizza, and sandwiches at 1 Nashua St., next to North Station — and according to owner Vittorio Wurzburger, 'It’s the first real Neapolitan coffee shop in Boston.' Wurzburger’s family from Naples has been roasting coffee since 1892, and he’s personally importing and distributing that coffee, Caffè Kenon, to ensure everything tastes like home. In fact, roughly 90 percent of Kicco’s offerings are prepared in Italy, by Italian chefs, using Italian ingredients, then shipped to Boston — essentially everything but the produce and dairy. The downtown shop opened September 28, and its large glass windows show off a stripped-down interior, which features a straightforward mix of blacks, whites, and grays. The menu, which you can now order online, includes pizza with mushrooms and burrata, turkey and vegetarian panini, pistachio cake, and bomboloni with cream or chocolate filling. The cafe also boasts two different espresso machines and three distinct coffee blends including a 100-percent Arabica version, with drinks ranging from cappuccinos to Nutella lattes to cold coffee cream. Kicco Italian Coffee is currently open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday." - Adam H. Callaghan

Nestled into North Station itself (not where the other food places are), this cafe has unique food like pistachio cake and cream-filled pastries. They also have a delicious matcha with almond milk!

A taste of itialian Coffee and pastries without going to the north end! A small little gem outside north station serving earthy, balanced Italian Coffee with many pastries including macaroons, pistachio layered cake, crossiants,Italian donuts. The cream filled crossiant is flakey, soft and a hint of orange zest. The honey latte was absolutely top tier. Pricey $5+ for pastries and $6+ for latte is defiantly worth the trip.

I love the flavor, attention to detail and options at this espresso Café. I like that they have 8 ounce drinks, but it’s confusing that they only put 1 ounce of espresso in that size! So be sure to add an extra single shot if you want a full dose of espresso. They have an excellent range of flaky, tasty pastries, though most of them have some kind of very sweet filling. I’ve enjoyed the Cantucci and Nutella lattes, and they are great at doing foam art. Hot Espresso milk drink decoder: Drink/cups = 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz. “1 shot” = 1 oz espresso or 1/2 std double shot Latte or Cappuccino: 1 shot in 8 oz, 1.5 oz in 12 oz, 2 shots in 16 oz For Here ceramic cups or glasses OR Takeout

Google
A hidden gem! Glad to have a nice coffee place around here. Latte, mocha, Nutella.. etc all I’ve tried so far are fantastic! A little bit pricey than other brands around but worth it. Minus one star is for people looking for a place to sit and enjoy their coffee or do something with their computers. I’d say this place is for to go.

Google
Great place to stop by for coffee and delicious pastries. Stumbled upon this place while walking around the North station. They seemed like a great new addition to the area where coffees used to be only available from major coffee chains. I got their signature Nutella latte and some cakes and pastries. The Nutella flavor in their signature latte was very subtle, and I liked its faint nutty aftertaste. It went really well with some of their sweet pastries like the pistachio cake and the cream croissant. It didn’t seem like they were making their own pastries, but both their cake and pastries were surprisingly good. I was especially impressed with their pistachio cake, and I would recommend trying this. They also have interesting snacks imported from Italy, so whether you’re looking for a quick coffee break or Italian snacks, I would recommend stopping by to try them out.

I am thrilled that I found this place! I have been sick and tired of only having 2 places to go to before work for coffee! But this shop opens at 6am so I changed my commute so I could have good coffee in the morning! This was a great choice for me. My day was so much better because I had GOOD coffee! I want to give 5 stars, but the cup top to my iced americano didn't fit so my scrubs ended up wearing half of it :( Hopefully, they get better cups soon!

Google
It's hard to find a good European coffee place, especially here in Boston. So many of those "authentic" cafes in North End suck, having the overly roasted burnt taste in their espressos. At Kicco, you will find the moka pot like smoothness in the taste. As a coffee enthusiast, I highly recommend their coffee. Best European coffee in Boston, no doubt!

Google
This is what coffee is supposed to be. Easily top 5 in greater Boston area. Vittorio is a passionate man from Naples who shares 100 years of his family traditions in every cup. You can appreciate his dedication to his craft because every morning before opening the store, he adjusts his recipe to make sure you get the smoothest most elegant cup of espresso possible. Have you ever tasted coffee with floral/ chocolate/ berry notes? If not, this place will change your perspective on coffee forever. In true Italian tradition, this is as much of a social club as it is a coffee shop - i and his patrons are always there to share the most recent chatter of the day.

Yelp
I loved it here! Prime location right next to north station. I got the pistachio croissant to eat and the filling was so tasty. To drink I got a mango refresher with lemonade and it was both unique and delicious! I loved all the cool non-coffee options. I saw several fun flavors for refreshers and matcha, I'll certainly be coming back!

Yelp
Feels like this is a hidden gem behind the TD Garden / Hub Hall. I stopped by after lunch to get a decaf latte & it did not disappoint. What I appreciated of this business is that they have clearly labeled all the food items they sell with common allergens so you know what the food item contains. For my gluten free friends, they sell small cookies, almond flour based so you can have a small sweet treat here with your coffee or preferred drink. (But unfortunately from what I observed that would be it.) They also sell Italian food items, coffee, and sweets. The location has a few tables nicely spread out so you're not next to your neighbor. Very clean. Service is friendly. Overall, cute spot. Will return again

Yelp
This place though it was nice clean coffee shop was hard to find and their coffee was not that good. I sadly could not try their pastries/ croissant's due to my food allergies. The staff that worked here were nice. Not sure I would come back though.

Yelp
Kicco is a small coffee shop right by North Station! The worker was extremely friendly and patient as I chose what to order, and eventually decided on the Nutella Latte (since many people say this is good). The coffee taste was strong and smooth, and the Nutella added a sweetness that wasn't too too sweet with a hint of nuttiness. I'd definitely come back and check out their other lattes and try their cappuccino and coffee cream in the future!

Yelp
We felt like checking out a coffee shop that wasn't Starbucks or Dunkin' and found this joint a few paces from our hotel. It is in a good spot near North Station so people can grab a cup of coffee before/after catching the train. It was very clean, and wasn't too busy at the time of our visit. My wife had a cup of coffee along with her avocado toast. I had a ham and cheese sandwich. My wife said the coffee was good. The avocado toast was underwhelming given the price. My sandwich was good, but was burnt a little. Also, seemed to take awhile just too prepare the items. Again, the price was up there for what we got in return. Probably won't be back next time visit Boston.

Yelp
This new coffee shop is hidden near the entrance to north station. They have 3 types of espresso you could choose from for your drinks, as well as a selection of imported pastries from Italy and other packaged snacks to purchase. They have almond and oat milk as alternatives for $0.50 extra. I tried a small oatmilk ($0.50) Nutella latte ($4.50) with the Naples blend ($0.50). I was worried that it would be too sweet but it wasn't too sweet at all, although I noticed that most of the Nutella ended up in the bottom of the cup. The espresso flavor wasn't very strong so I might try the Kicco blend in the future although this adds an extra $1 to the cost of the drink. The staff are super friendly and they seem really proud of their drinks and snacks! My server even offered me a free cookie. The service is fast so this could be a quick stop before you catch the train.

Yelp
I had come across Kicco on Instagram, and I knew that I had to visit for that Cold Coffee Cream. A friend and I were in the neighborhood one day, and decided that it was THE DAY to give it a try, and OH MY GAWD. It was delicious! The best way to describe it was like a whipped coffee soft serve. It was excellent. It's only offered in one size, which is probably for the best because my friend and I both agreed that we'd have gotten a giant size to over-indulge in if offered otherwise. Since we were "being good" with our treat-sized Cold Coffee Creams, we also ordered Iced Nutella Lattes, which were lathered in Nutella, and we were 100% there for it. We both felt that Kicco, although seemingly unassuming from the outside, was excellent for our early afternoon "pick me ups." I'd come back for the Cold Coffee Cream alone.

Emily D.

Yelp
So tasty! Nearby our hotel and I wish I would have realized earlier. Would totally pick this over Starbucks! We had a smoothie, Americano, and iced latte. All delicious! And I'm still dreaming of the Nutella croissant

Yelp
Lovely coffee! Nice choice of beans. Italian service. Highly recommend for coffee lovers.

Marissa E.

Yelp
Adorable coffee shop right outside North Station commuter rail (just passed Dunkin). Authentic Italian roast. While the iced cappuccino didn't have cold foam, it was delicious. They have oat and almond milk. The Nutella croissant was amazing but I wish they had offered to warm it up. Service was efficient and I made the incoming orange line train that was 5 minutes away when u ordered.

Reb K.

Yelp
Italian coffee shop that recently opened around the corner from td garden in the west end. Conveniently right as you exit north station. It has so many great coffee options to satisfy all your wants and needs. True to their origins, their coffee beans are roasted in Italy and their pastries come from the region in Italy that they are each best known for! Our FAVORITE, the Kicco coffee cream, is at the top of our list here! It's a must try for sure

Sona C.

Yelp
got the iced white chocolate mocha - such a good espresso! great service. would 100% choose this place over tatte. a little expensive but worth the quality

Bailee P.

Yelp
Great coffee! Such a nice location for a new coffee spot. Easy pick up from the commuter rail. The coffee was delicious and they have three different blends to choose from. I was able to get oat milk in my latte.

Danielle A.

Yelp
A little hidden behind tasty burger outside of north station but was new, bright and clean on the inside. My latte was delish but the surprising part was how good the croissants were! There isn't a place in the area right now for good breakfast pastries - great to have one now. Skip care Nero and Starbucks and come here instead.

Nick B.

Yelp
What I said below is still true, but the typo for "well" is really bothering me. It's an awkward location, but the food is great so you really should check it out. I highly recommend the Chipotle Turkey panini (has a thin slice of apple in it), and the Scillian Blood Orange sparkling juice.

Lydia R.

Yelp
Their coffee is absolute perfection. I've also had their Nutella bombolone which was yummy. I keep coming back for the coffee. Seriously. You haven't had good coffee till you've come here.

Raffaele C.

Yelp
If you never go to Italy then his place is 100% the closest place to it! Everything is imported from Italy! The owner nice humble hospitable gentleman that treat clients like family members!!! Coffee cream and blueberry tea my personal favorites! Awesome products and awesome hospitality!

Jett L.

Yelp
Fantastic service and coffee! Their paninis are great too - I especially like the chipotle turkey :)
