"Opening next to North Station at 1 Nashua Street at the end of August, this café is presented by owner Vittorio Wurzburger as Boston’s first proper Neapolitan coffee shop. Drawing on his family’s Neapolitan roasting tradition (Caffè Kenon, roasting since 1892) and his La Casa del Caffè business, the shop will serve three house blends pulled on dual espresso machines — including a La San Marco Leva — alongside customizable espresso drinks. Roughly 90% of the food products are made in Italy and shipped daily: Italian chefs prepare nearly everything (except produce and dairy), providing croissants filled with Nutella, pistachio, or almonds, Italian cakes and pastries, plus focaccia, pizza, and sandwiches; even the bottled water is sourced from Italy. Wurzburger emphasizes presenting Italian culture authentically and stands confident that there’s nothing like this in Boston." - Paolo Bicchieri
