"Locals love this halal restaurant, which has three outlets in the city and is owned by Kenyan Somali entrepreneurs. The menu is several pages long, the prices are friendly on the pocketbook, and the portions are huge (seriously, an order of goat leg might get you an actual whole leg). The branch on Banda Street, right across from Jamia Mosque, is popular with Muslims after the Friday prayer service. Dishes include preparations of goat like arosto (fried goat meat) and aleso (boiled goat meat), as well as variations on pilau, injera, and pizzas and burgers. terrrrrible, nothing i ordered was available, food or drinks , even a simple drink made with apple lemon and ginger was finished. i ended up with steak and some green mashed potatoes . The steak was chewy and couldn't even be cut with a knife or chewed, i had to swallow the steak pieces whole , mashed potatoes were just bad , i couldn't believe i was in the restaurant with good reviews. and you know what, i didn't leave a single shiling as a tip, and i was completely satisfied doing so.

Terrible service. Avoid. My experience at the Kilimanjaro Jamia Banda street was much better. At Kimathi street, the balcony is nice, they have plenty of space, so you are likely to get a seat. But for some reason, they told me my choice of dish was wrong and suggested another. The suggested dish was terrible, stale, under cooked and I had to return it. I ordered another dish which was again met with their disapproval but I insisted. I got half the dish. I have had the same dish before in that restaurant, so I knew what was missing. They were already so rude, I didn't ask for it. I ordered a takeaway and when I got home, discovered that they gave me a wrong dish.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Nairobi, making it super accessible. The food was amazing—I ordered a platter for two, but it was so big it could easily feed four! The atmosphere was calm, even on a Saturday, so I can only imagine how peaceful it would be on a weekday. The service was great, and the wait time for the food was impressively short. Of course, the wait might vary depending on what and how much you order, but overall, I highly recommend giving Kilimanjaro a try. It’s a great spot for dining!

The restaurant is fancy nice and delicious food.....i liked it and enjoyed being there . It has an ample parking with lots of delicacies depending on your pocket suites .the environment is cool and its a best place for take aways and super services.

Had two meals here, the food was okay and good value of the price. However, it seems they are not really strict to the payment. It's my first time in Kenya, I don't know it's their culture, but they didn't give me the change. It was not that big money so I just walked out, but I was not happy for them keeping the change. Please pay with card unless you want to donate to them haha

I'm not really a juice person but when I tried my husband's "lunch cleanser" I had to get one myself. I can't say the name is particularly inviting, but the taste is fresh and amazing - slightly sweet, and slightly spicy and the perfect, most refreshing combo. Try it! We also ordered the grilled vegetable sandwich and the sizzling veggies with red bean sauce and biryani. The sizzling veggies were absolutely delicious. The sauce was bold and well spiced and the portion was very good. Our waitress was so sweet and even taught us some Swahili. We felt very welcome and had a really nice time here.
