Kin Dee Bellevue - Review - Bellevue - Seattle - The Infatuation

"A Thai restaurant with outposts in Bothell and Madison Valley opened a new location in Bellevue. Here you’ll find street food dishes like fried bean curd and chicken satay, alongside classic entrees like kao mun gai, pineapple fried rice, and pad thai wrapped in an egg lattice. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Kayla Sager-Riley

A family-run, street-food–focused offshoot of a local Thai group, new to Bellevue with boat noodles, kao mun gai, pad thai under an egg lattice, and a deep roster of Isan snacks. The Infatuation flagged this 2025 opening, noting its street-dish focus. Expect late-afternoon happy hour nibbles, regional soups, and wok-fired classics with bright heat.

Taste of Thailand Right in Bellevue – Kin Dee Soft Opening Review We had the pleasure of attending the soft opening of Kin Dee Bellevue, and what a treat it was! This new spot brings the heart and soul of Thai street food to the Pacific Northwest with incredible authenticity and flavor. From the very first bite, we felt transported straight to the bustling streets of Thailand. The crispy pork with crispy garlic was the highlight – perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and served with a spicy dipping sauce that added just the right kick. It’s a must-try! Every dish we ordered was delicious – bold, aromatic, and true to Thai street food roots. And the Thai desserts? A solid 10 stars! Beautifully presented and absolutely delightful. The service was outstanding – warm, attentive, and full of that unmistakable Thai smile that made us feel so welcome. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, clean, cozy, and inviting – a perfect setting for enjoying a flavorful meal. We’re so excited to have Kin Dee in Bellevue and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone craving a truly authentic Thai street food experience!

The price was a lot, but it's the economy and businesses need to keep up in order to stay in business. I will say that the portion size for the food my friend and I ordered was fairly large, actually for the price. I ordered the pad thai and the egg lattice was very pretty. The food it was nice and warm and fresh. My complaint was that there didn't seem to be much seasoning. I guess they like you to apply it yourself. I don't recall there being any seasoning on the table. The noise level was pretty loud, too. It was complicated for my friend and I to communicate, however it was the weekend and that seems to be expected. I liked how the server frequented our table to refill our glasses. It was appreciated.

The dishes we ordered were full of flavor; the combination of a sweet, savory, tangy, and spicy! The Kao Moo Daeng Moo Grob was definitely the star of the show. Crispy pork belly had a good crunch & very tender, many slices of BBQ pork, and some sweet chinese sausage! Nicely portioned out on a bed of rice with vegetables & sauce. I love my dry style noodle dishes, so we had to try the Guay Tiew Khae with egg noodles! Savory and slightly sweet simple flavor accompanied by bean sprouts, green onions, fried garlic/shallots, variety of meats & fishballs, and a spritz of lime!

I had an amazing dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious. I tried several dishes and every single one was flavorful and well prepared. There wasn't a single item I didn't enjoy. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff, and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. Highly recommended!

Have been to bothell Kin Dee and now glad this is opened in Bellevue. The service is great. We order 4 items, the portion size is average and taste is OK. I think it's bit pricy based on the portion size and taste.

Not an ordinary Thai restaurant. There are a lot of specialties you wont find like Had Yai fried chicken, Moo Grob, and Kao Mun Gai. A few details make it not as good as Lotus of Siam, but it's still worth visiting. Fried chicken so good you wish it was a bucket. The minor details are that the pork belly skin is a little chewey and under developed in parts. A shame because the skin has an amazing bubbly texture. The biggest shame is the khao soi noodles are overcooked. Idk if this was because we ate 30min from closing but everything around it is amazing.

This is my new favorite Thai restaurant! I've been to Thailand many times and have been searching for the place to help suffice my boat noodle craving and this place is it! I liked it so much I forgot to take pictures of it lol. The other food was also amazing. Highly recommend! This place is authentic, fresh and has excellent service. I can't wait to be back.

What a great feeling to find another one of my go-to restaurants. You can feel the care in every dish, and the flavors are exquisite. It's a place that anyone who tries it will want to come back to!

Yelp
Stopped by during their soft opening for a quick solo lunch. Scored a table right away (lucky timing, because it filled up fast). First impression: super clean, bright, and open space. Started with the Sai Krok E-San (fermented pork sausage) and, ugh, so insanely good. It's got that tangy kick, but the real magic was pairing it with the ginger, Thai chili, and greens on the side. Totally elevated the flavors and made every bite even better. For my main, I went with the Guay Tiew Tom Yum Boran. I'm a sucker for sour, tangy soups, and this one hit the spot. The fish patty tasted freshly made, which is a huge upgrade compared to the fish balls I find in the freezer aisle at my local Asian market, which I usually toss into hotpot at home. Night and day difference. Didn't realize Kin Dee has multiple locations around Seattle, but now I'm definitely adding the others to my list.

Yelp
The restaurant was nice and clean. Below were what we ordered: * Gai Tod Had Yai (fried chicken leg): It's ok. Not as flavorful as other places * Som Tum Buu Pla Ra (papaya salad with salted crab): Really good, especially the salted crab. Perfect balance between umani, sweet and sour taste * Kao Moo Daeng Moo Grob (combo rice dish): meat was tender. However, the pork belly was a little bit too sweet for my preference * Pla Tod Kra Thiam (fried fish rice dish): Perfect crunchiness of the fish. The sauce that comes with was interesting (in a good way) * Guay Tiew Ruea Moo (boat noodle soup): it has a very distinctive herbal flavor that some people may not like (it was fine for me). Other than that, it's not bad * MaMa Mor Fire (Mama noodle hot pot): punchy and flavorful. However, the fish cake that came with was really bland * Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodle): not too bad but not as good as other places I've been to Overall, the flavor is there but nothing really stands out except for the fish and salad. The price is a little bit too high compared to the portion we get. Also 1 thing that for some reason really throws me off is they put the cut carrots in almost every dish. Those are big pieces that kind of don't make sense in Thai dishes because they have 0 flavor.

Yelp
I been wanting to try this place for so long and I'm happy it's finally in Bellevue. There's a parking lot here so no need to find parking. Service was good for the most part. They were attentive and Knowledgeable. The place is nice and cozy as well. Not too loud. Food wise: Pad Thai tofu --- I'm not a fan of saucy / wet pad Thai so this was my least favorite. My husband loved it though. The tofu was also kinda tough and chewy Flavor was good Rice dish -- I was very impressed with this dish - I love the variety of things on here and it works well together. The pork belly was crispy and melts in your mouth. The BBQ pork was tender. The only thing I didnt get was the sauce on the side, didn't know what that was for or even need it Fried chicken --- very crispy and flavorful. The sauce and veggies that came with it was simple yet went well. It did take a while for this one to come though so be patient. Price was good as well for the portions and quality. I'm definitely coming back to try other things here .

Yelp
So glad that Kin Dee has made a home in Bellevue, offering Thai classics and street food items that are solid and all you need. Enough with these fancy, upscale Thai restaurants that are overpriced in Bellevue! Kin Dee is a breath of fresh air. My partner and I were happy to see that Kin Dee was opening in Bellevue, so we visited during soft opening and were pleased with what we ordered. Located in the Bel-Red neighborhood in a business strip with many other eateries and shops, parking can be tricky during prime dinner time. But there's plenty of parking. The space isn't huge, but enough seating for groups. Service was great, with fast service and water glasses never being empty. The menu features a lot to choose from, with classic Thai dishes and more regional ones. I like that they offer different dishes here compared to other Thai restaurants in Bellevue. My partner and I ordered the Nua Nam Tok salad to share and he had the Kao Ko Moo, a pork shank dish with rice, mustard greens and hard boiled eggs and I had the Mama Mor Fire, which is only offered for dine-in and is a Thai hot pot dish with crispy pork. Everything was tasty and spice level was legit. I ordered my dish with three stars and it tasted more like four stars; bring on the heat! I definitely would come back to Kin Dee for my Thai food cravings, especially for its variety of dishes that are not featured at other Thai restaurants nearby. Delicious food with much to discover.

Yelp
Portions here are massive! I was pretty full from eating half and it tasted even better as leftovers the next day. The Leng Saeb is limited and dine in only. It's just meat in flavorful soup but it was sooo amazing. A good level of spice and a bit of tanginess from the lime and lemongrass which was perfect with rice. They were nice of enough to let me take my leftovers home which barely fit in the to go container. I really enjoyed this dish and didn't know what to expect. Unfortunately it just comes as is so I'm not sure how I was supposed to eat it and maybe should have ordered a side of rice with it. Appetizers were all good especially the steak and money bag. They were in soft opening when I went but almost all the menu items have a picture when you scan the QR code they provide which is awesome and much appreciated! If I were to come back, I would get the Kao Moo Daeng Moo Grob since it contains what the Ba Mee Moo Daeng has but with a bit more variety in the proteins but the noodles in the Ba Mee Moo Daeng was pretty good. This spot offers great value and very friendly service. I'll definitely be back to try other stuff off their menu since everything was delicious.

Yelp
They're currently in their soft opening and I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was! I've been to their Bothell location before and liked it, but I was especially excited for this new Bellevue spot because I am usually in this area. It seems like they've added more dishes to the menu here compared to what I remember from Bothell. Service was a bit slow, but it was the weekend and they looked a little short staffed, so it was understandable. I ordered the boat noodle soup and asked for pho noodles but ended up with something much thinner. Maybe a miscommunication or language barrier, not sure? The meat in the soup was a little dry and I wish they offered some hoisin on the side for dipping. The broth was really flavorful and I loved the vinegary sauce that came with it. I'd definitely order it again but next time I'll make sure to clarify the noodle request. I can't remember the names of all the other dishes we got, but everything was solid. The steak dish was hands down our favorite! They're super generous with the portions of meat, so everything felt really worth the price. Overall I would come back, especially with a large group so we can try more food!

Yelp
Still during the soft opening, I'm anticipating another 5* review. We frequent their Bothell location, and we are glad that this location serves some of our favorites from the other branches and something new. Their braised beef noodles (Guay Tiew Nua) is the bomb. The broth is rich and umami-laden, and the bowl is loaded with soft and tender beef banana-shank. This is a particularly flavorful but really tough cut. Cook it too hot and it turns dry and mealy. Not cooked for long enough and it is tough and fibrous. The shank here is perfect. There were also several pieces of gelatinous tender. The accompanying green chili sauce was amazing, going perfectly with the beef. My son had their chicken rice (Kao Mun Gai) for which he gave two thumbs up. Service was up to the warm, friendly level we are used to at all their branches. What was special in this branch is their ambience and decor. Earthy, and very Thai.

Yelp
Kin Dee's new noodle house concept soft opening in Bellevue is outstanding and brings lots of its flavors from its other locations here and definitely some new dishes as well. We definitely enjoyed trying all the new different noodles dishes as well as rice and appetizer dishes. This location certain and attention to detail from their tables to the decor as you see from my video. It's as big as their Madison location but very cozy. The service is fast and the food came out very quick and still nice and hot especially since you can tell that they focus on freshness!

Yelp
Excellent food. Different choices than what you usually get at a Thai restaurant. Nice blend of spices. We liked everything we ordered. Good service. As if July 2025,they have applied for a liquor license.

Yelp
The Thai iced tea was great. Refreshing and sweet. The Kao Na Ped was also excellent. Loved the gravy and spicy soy on the side. The duck had great flavor and it paired well with the rice. I would recommend to others if you're looking for a nice Thai place to eat at.

Yelp
Super cute and great looking restaurant! Stopped for dim sum but detoured when we saw this place. Folks were super friendly! Soft opening was last weekend. The pork belly was crispy and delicious, the house made bbq was tasty, and Khao Soi had trended beef morsels and plenty of it. We will be back to try the soups.

Yelp
I ordered Kao Mun Gai, steamed chicken. The chicken was dry, tough and flavorless, nothing close to the soft, juicy meat this dish is supposed to have. There was no ginger aroma at all. The rice was okay, but the broth was bad: instead of tasting like fresh chicken stock, it was heavy, salty, artificial, and overloaded with peppery seasoning, without a single peppercorn in sight. Very disappointed as this dish should be a staple for a Thai place. Wouldn't recommend. Gave two stars because at least the staff was nice.

Yelp
The Bellevue location is still in their soft opening phase. The place is very cute, service was prompt & friendly and the food delicious. We were not familiar with Thai street food but the waitress gave excellent recommendations. We tried the Kao Moo Daeng Moo Grob & it was so tasty! We also ordered Pad Thai & Spring Rolls - these were more familiar but very good. I would definitely go back!

Boris D.

Yelp
Great ambiance, tasteful decor. The food was delightful: pad see ew, spring rolls and papaya salad were the highlights. Larb w/ chicken was a bit on a salty side. Service was very friendly and prompt. We will be back!

Yelp
I had the braised beef noodle and it was excellent. The soup and vinegar added to the beef was very flavorful. Nice decor and service. Thanks.

Yelp
Very delicious! Comparable to our favorite one - Isarn in Kirkland. Any dish with crispy pork is amazing, light crispy yet very juicy pork meat. We also tried the crab fried rice... yes it is pricey but they give you a big chunk of crab meat. We will definitely come back to try more!
