Thai food, plus cocktails & wines, are dished up in this airy, streamlined restaurant.
"Kin Dee has all the Thai classics, like curries, wok noodles, and fried chicken - only here it’s exceptionally light. The pad see ew (which is our favorite in the city) doesn’t have too much oil. The delicious yellow curry with chicken and carrots doesn’t have a ton of cream involved. And, all of the entrees come with a side of tasty grilled vegetables. Add a homemade butterfly pea flower soda alongside some avocado fresh rolls, and you’ll be very happy." - aimee rizzo
"This Central District restaurant almost always looks empty, but rest assured it’s an optical illusion created by the sunken dining room that hides slightly under street level." - Megan Hill
"There’s a lot of pad see ew in this city, and we’ve found the one that makes us want to stop eating it everywhere else. It’s at Kin Dee, a bright corner restaurant on Capitol Hill that serves flavorful curries, stir fry, crunchy sweet and sour chicken wings, and avocado fresh rolls - if eating vegetables is something you care about. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the staff is very friendly. It all makes for a fantastic lunch or casual dinner." - Aimee Rizzo
"Kin Dee serves Thai standards like pad Thai and panang curry, with street food dishes like steamed chicken with garlic ginger rice and duck noodle soup." - Megan Hill
