The Best Offal Dishes to Try in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Kin Craft Ramen & Izakaya, quite possibly the most underrated spot under Kei Concepts’ buzzy umbrella of Orange County restaurants, is home to one of the finest offal dishes around. The chubby udon noodles arrive smoky from the wok and chock-full of choice morsels, including small intestine and honeycomb tripe. A heap of fresh green onions and a sprinkling of togarashi complements the offals just right." - Cathy Chaplin

OK going into this I was super hyped. Unlimited ramen, amazing desserts, etc. I ordered the ramen and temaki (hand roll) (tried the fried rice) and tbh both were mid. My standards aren’t that high so I’ll explain exactly what made it mid. The ramen was SO OILY, both the chashu and the broth, lacked flavor. Not worth the calories imo. Moving onto the temaki, (hand roll) the rice was sour and overpowered the taste of the salmon. I’ve had sushi rice before but it was never this sour. The salmon itself was flavorless imo and you know how usually salmon has that nice fresh sweetness? This one had none of that and I could hardly taste the natural salmon flavor. (Ate the salmon alone to ensure the sushi rice wasn’t overpowering the natural taste). I tried a bit of salmon fried rice too, which was pretty good except for the fact that it was too oily. I have a picture of the oil, just know that the black plate amplifies the oil on the fried rice. There was friendly customer service too, checked in on stuff and cleared the tables. Went into the restrooms and there was MOUTHWASH. That was so cool. Atmosphere in general gets 4 stars cause it was too hard to hear anybody. Wouldn’t recommend going here for the food however I haven’t tried the desserts and drinks (which look really good) so if you wanna try those out go for it.

Waited an hour for a table of 6. Outside waiting area had one propane heater that went out after 15 minutes. Waitress was nice professional. Ramen was okay overall, noodles was cooked perfectly. Yakitori skewers menu was shorten, disappointed. Salmon sashimi was fresh. Hot sake was cheap quality. Ordering with a single form for a group was a bad design to self serve in a crowded noisy place. Sesame coconut ice cream was nice.

I haven't yet had the opportunity to try every restaurant in the Kei Concepts family, but Kin Craft Ramen & Izakaya is my fave so far. We visited on a Saturday evening around the dinner hour and the place was poppin'! We were fortunate not to have to wait for a table given the restaurant's popularity. The dinner menu offers everything from small plates, raw dishes including sashimi, ramen, udon, rice dishes, izakaya, beverages and desserts. We wanted to try everything so we ordered the Guava Calpico and a few izakaya to start. Our entrees included the Rainbow Poke Salad, Mabo Tofu Mazemen and the Kids Meal Box for our daughter. We closed out the meal with the Mango Bango. I could taste the freshness in every bite but in particular the truffle vinaigrette in the salad and the Sichuan oil in the mazemen were memorable. However to my surprise, my favorite item was the chicken nuggets in my daughter's meal box! Service was friendly and timely, especially given how busy it was. If you've never been, see for yourself what the hype is all about!

Kin Izakaya – Stylish Ramen & Izakaya Dining Under the KEI Group Located in the heart of Fountain Valley and part of the popular KEI group, Kin Izakaya blends modern Japanese décor with a laid-back izakaya vibe, making it a hot spot during weekday lunch hours, especially for its well-priced lunch specials. The interior is stylishly decorated with lush greenery, curated sake displays, and a cozy yet sophisticated bar area that attracts both casual diners and those looking for a more relaxing sit-down meal. The atmosphere is bright and inviting — a great setting to unwind over lunch or enjoy a low-key dinner. During lunch, Kin offers a combo special that includes a ramen and a side dish. Choices include Gyu-Tonkotsu Ramen and Chashu Tom Kha Ramen, with sides such as Beef Belly Curry, Takoyaki, Karaage, or Truffle Salmon. I opted for the Chashu Tom Kha Ramen, which was a pleasant surprise — rich, tangy coconut broth with a subtle Thai twist. The noodles had a good bite and absorbed the broth nicely. However, only one slice of chashu was included, which felt a bit skimpy. I added a shoyu egg for $2.50 — tasty, but a steep price for a single egg. For the side, I tried the Truffle Salmon, which came as three slices of salmon sashimi lightly marinated and topped with microgreens. The flavor was delicate but nothing particularly memorable. Service-wise, the staff move quickly and efficiently, though they may not be the most attentive if you're looking for more detailed help or requests. Expect longer prep times during the lunch rush — this isn't a grab-and-go spot. It’s better suited for those who can take their time and enjoy the ambiance. --- Kin Izakaya offers a refined yet approachable take on ramen and Japanese small plates, with a modern setting perfect for leisurely lunches or relaxed evenings. While portions and prices could be more balanced, the creative ramen broths and polished vibe make it a worthwhile stop — especially if you’re not in a hurry.

Google
Spotted a new $15 Lunch Special at KIN Craft Ramen & Izakaya. As a fan of Kei Concepts, of course I had to give it a try. Here’s how it works: Step 1 – Choose your ramen (2 options): • Tonkotsu Ramen: classic pork bone broth, rich and creamy • Char Siu Tom Yum Ramen: bold flavor with a spicy, tangy broth that reminded me of Singaporean laksa actually. Step 2 – Choose a side (pick 1 out of 4): • Beef Curry with Rice • Takoyaki (octopus balls) • Japanese Fried Chicken (karaage) • Truffle Salmon Sashimi Honestly, great value for just $15! Everything tasted pretty solid, and the portions were satisfying. Recommend it to anyone who wants to try delicious ramen during the lunch break. Lunch special is dine-in only and available until 4 PM. 📍KIN Craft Ramen & Izakaya 16185 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Came a little after 8pm on a Wednesday and they were quite busy! A little hard to get the staff’s attention, but once the order was in, the food came out at a steady pace - I was actually surprised to see the calamari out in ~5 mins and the slowest dishes were the crudos. Happy Hour Specials: - Calamari - a bit oily - Tom Kha Chasu Ramen - nice sweet and sour broth, noodles were al dente - Hokkaido Scallop Crudo - pretty refreshing especially paired with the yuzu sauce - Truffle Salmon Crudo - the truffle was a bit subtle for me - 3 Set Yakitori Skewers (scallop, sausage, chicken thigh) - pretty decent Also ordered Fried Rice with chashu but found the dish to be oily and a bit salty - likely will pass from this next time. Appreciated the happy hour specials, but I prefer their sister restaurants in the same plaza.

IG/TT @waitfoodfirst Kin izakaya in fountain valley is now doing happy hour Sunday to Thursday from 8-10pm. All of their food is top quality and nothing is under $12. I really liked their crispy chicken karaage and they’ve definitely got you when those late night ramen cravings hit!

Yelp
I used to be a long-time regular. Like, I went from eating here a few times a month to a few times a year at best. And while food and service has always been consistently good, no issues there, I've never been a fan of the near-constant menu changes and removals. First it was them changing their main ramen *a lot*; right now, the gyu-tonkotsu is pretty minimal with what comes with it, probably to encourage add-ons, but before it used to have an actual variety of toppings included in the bowl like a shoyu egg already. There was another review here noting that the chashu also used to be fatty and thick but now it's lean and thin, lol. Then they started having different menus for ramen between lunch and dinner, with the majority of their ramen selection being lunch-only. I don't know of any other all day ramen & izakaya specific restaurants doing this for their ramen. Yakitori menu selection is also literally half of what it used to be. A lot of their other dishes especially non-sushi are gone now too. You can even look at past photos and reviews where it's pretty clear that their menu changes frequently, sometimes monthly. Not just to add new dishes either, but to change or remove what was there before. I understand that these constant changes are from a business perspective to maximize profits with what's popular and actually selling. Or at least, I'm assuming that's the reason. But it sucks coming here and always half-expecting something I ordered before to be either changed significantly or removed outright, and this is something that happened a lot when I used to dine-in at least once a month. Again, no issues with the overall food and service, but I wouldn't recommend coming here as a repeat option for people who want to order the same things that made you come back and expect it to be just the way you like it every time. If such dishes are still on the menu, that is.

Yelp
Best food ever....I always order the Original Gyu-Tonkotsu. I always leave here happy..........

Yelp
10/10 MY NEW FAV RAMEN SPOT!!! The food was absolutely phenomenal, I tried their ramen it was TOO good for human consumption. It was crafted by an artisan surely. The service I was provided was by Christine and she did an amazing job; super respectful, attendant, friendly and professional! Their ambiance was sick it's got a sleek minimalistic modern aesthetic with a cozy and bustling atmosphere.

Yelp
KIN Craft Ramen is another successful venture by Kei Concepts. They have really taken over this particular plaza, but the food, service, and atmosphere is really superb. The food is so consistently good every time I go, and the servers are always friendly and attentive. In addition, every Kei Concepts restaurant has had amazing decor and attention to detail. KIN in Fountain Valley is no exception. I love the decor, and the food is amazing. The seafood ramen in particular is one of my favorites as the flavor is very unique and blends extremely well. It is not overwhelming or too rich, allowing me to enjoy every sip and bite. Overall, KIN Craft Ramen in Fountain Valley is a great date night spot for amazing food, service, and atmosphere.

Yelp
Yo girl is usually in bed by 8 but I'd happily stay up and go out for Kin's late night happy hour from 8-10PM. So here's everything you should get with price breakdowns: - 3-piece yakitori skewer set that comes with chicken thigh, scallop, and sausage ($10) - Possibly the BEST DEAL on the whole happy hour menu--a HUGE bowl of ramen for only $12 and you can choose tonkatsu or tom kha broth - And they even have TRUFFLE during happy hour, oh my god I scarfed down the truffle salmon crudo ($10) SO FAST - Takoyaki ($8) - Yuzu Fizz cocktail ($10) Thanks for reading! ^-^

Yelp
Great place for ramen! My go to is the Chashu Tom Kha, very flavorful. did wish it came with more meat, but it's standard with ramen. Also love the free noodle refills, though i think they could be cooked longer bc they were pretty firm. Tried their sides before too, good as well. Service great as always, will say though I was pretty thirsty after my meal, probably bc the broth was either salty or had MSG. Will be back!

Yelp
Great food, reasonable prices and very friendly service! Ambiance was lively and kinda loud, but still we were able to hear each other talking. Definitely get their seafood laksa noodles. The flavor was bold and delicious, kinda like coconut curry noodles with ample amounts of seafood. One of us took the broth home to make a second meal out of it! Their tonkotsu was solid as well. The pork slices were very tender. Also tried their beef udon and it's a hearty bowl of deliciousness. Beef tongue was yummy too, not too chewy. For the skewers, we got sausages and chicken thigh. The chicken was tender, flavorful and juicy. We were so stuffed and happy when we walked out. Make sure you make a reservation. We saw people waiting outside for a table as we walked out.

Yelp
Visited this place again during my visit in the OC area. Came around 5pm on a Saturday and was seated immediately without reservation but if we came later, we would've been out of luck. Service is super friendly as usual - we were constantly checked on so we were never stuck waiting for service. Upon ordering, a server double checked our order sheet which was nice so no items were left out. We literally got our chicken kaarage and edamame in less than 10 minutes. Really appreciate that as sometimes, places even bring out your ramen then the appetizers midway. I can confidently say that KIN Ramen's chicken kaarage is the best kaarage I've ever had. The chicken is so moist and juicy but still has a slight crisp to it. The sauce that comes with it pairs perfectly. Usually you get spicy mayo but the sauce is amazing as always. I opted for Tom Kha Ramen this time after trying a sip of the broth during my last visit. There's a good amount of seafood but the star of the show is the broth. It is so rich and flavorful with just the right amount of kick. It felt like a waste to leave any broth leftover so when I was asked if I wanted extra noodles (free refills by the way - how AWESOME is that?) I said yes. As soon as I put the noodles in, the noodles already was soaked in that rich broth and it felt like I had a fresh bowl of noodles again. I would say that the broth is so rich that it isn't for the people with sensitive stomachs as it might upset it. My girlfriend's tonkatsu broth was a nice, refreshing taste because of how rich the Tom kha one was. I would still get it next time but opt for the char siu version. I'd definitely come back to try their beef belly curry, fried rice and always gotta get the kaarage. Only issue I have is the ambiance is a bit loud like some have mentioned so it was hard to really have a conversation but if you're here for a quick and satisfying meal, this is the place to go especially as of late when the OC area has been cold.

Yelp
drink ratings: matcha cloud 10/10, guava cocktail 7.5/10, hojicha sour 8/10 The matcha cloud was amazing, the cloud topping tasted light and citrusy. The matcha was amazing it's mixed with a vodka infused sake and yuzu. I loved this drink. Guava was okay, a little sour. Not my cup of tea. I loved seeing hojicha in the menu. The cocktail was mostly a whisky sour type vibe but you could taste the subtle hojicha. A unique drink. Scallops were good a 7.5/10 and the uni udon was a 7.5/10. The ramen is a 10/10, full of flavor and so so good. It gets really busy here, we waited about an hour for a party of two on a friday night around 7pm or so. Parking also gets very busy. We were seated at a table and our server was so kind and polite. I'd come back for the matcha cloud and ramen

Yelp
There is always a wait so try and make a reservation. They did a great job seating our party of 11. The ramen is very good. You have to order the boiled egg since it doesn't come with one. Everything we had good. Service was quick. They don't have a full bar so all the drinks are infused spirits in Sochu or sake. This was a little disappointing. There's something for everyone and the kids all love this place. Another unique thing, they offer free noodle refills. We have been back several times and will be back soon.

Yelp
We came for the happy hour menu. It's Sunday - Thursday 8pm - 10pm. Both the gyu tonkotsu and tom kha ramen are unlimited noodle refills. We ordered the tom kha ramen and it came with 2 thick cuts of chashu and mushrooms. The soup is delicious. Definitely a great deal. The service was great. Our waitress kept checking if we wanted noodle refills. The decor is really nice and trendy. There's lots of parking in this plaza but can be hard to find parking on the weekends.

Yelp
I've been here too many times to count and Kin never disappoints. It's a great place for lunch but also very nice for dinner dates. I've been here to celebrate two of my family member's birthdays before and the staff is very accommodating and go above and beyond to make us feel special. I'm more fond of the dinner menu as it offers raw dishes and well as skewers in additional to the noodles, rice dishes and hot appetizers. I always go back to the seafood tom kha ramen; there is sooo much scallop and squid in the bowl as well as 3 big shrimp. The broth is the perfect balance of savory, spicy and creamy from the coconut milk. Adding the shoyu egg (+$2) is a must! The chirashi bowl has so much variety with salmon, eel, scallop, spicy tuna, bluefin tuna, hamachi, and seaweed salad. The crispy calamari and furikake fries are my favorite fried appetizers here. I love how they have a vegan ramen option as well. They somehow were able to make the broth both sweet, savory and creamy without the use of any animal products. The drinks are all very pretty and delicious. There really isn't anything I've tried and haven't liked here. I hope everyone gives this place a try and loves it as much as I do!

Yelp
Hmm maybe I'm just obnoxiously too picky for my own good nowadays but I found the things that I tried here to be overall just above average. *gasp* D: I know I know. Crispy calamari: amaaazingly tender with zero rubberiness buuut could've been seasoned more. Original gyu-tonkotsu: rather salty and garlic-forward with not much milky-richness compared to tonkotsu broths that I've tried and loved. The pork belly was great though; succulent and flavorful! Sesame mazemen: quite salty as well but appreciated the much noticeable spiciness from the chili crisp. Chopped pork pieces had a little too much gristle on them. Big fan of the bouncy noodles. Matcha tiramisu: a bit of an overkill on the matcha powder and the matcha powder wasn't of the greatest quality so the whole thing had a strong bitter aftertaste lol. Service: exceptional. Server was super friendly and courteous. I visited on a Friday at around 4 pm. Immediately seated. Plentiful lot parking at the time.

Yelp
Man everything we had here was so good. I could've just kept eating but we already ran through so many plates. Ambiance and decor are nice as well as the customer service but the food is great. We came during happy hour which was 8pm-10pm which is basically just dinner time for us so that's pretty awesome. We had a lot of the dishes from the HH menu and they were all bomb. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
The owners of Vox opened Kin next door, so I knew I had to try it out. We got the truffle salmon crudo, kaarage, katsuo gyu-tonkotsu ramen, and seafood laksa ramen. The truffle salmon crudo was super buttery, but as an appetizer, nothing too special. The kaarage was really good especially with the dipping sauce. The tonkotsu ramen was good, but nothing amazing. As for the famous seafood laksa ramen everyone talks about, I wish it was more coconut-y like a Thai curry, but that's just my preference. Overall, I still prefer Vox so I would probably just eat down the street.

Yelp
Had a great anniversary dinner with my parents here! Thank you to our server Christine! Got the tom kha ramen, and it was so flavorful and filling. Love the unlimited noodles and the toppings were perfect. Also got the Mango dessert + the black sesame desert, both were delicious.

Yelp
We're recurring customers because we honestly love a good ramen day, and this place never fails to impress! I ordered the spicy miso ramen with corn and fresh garlic on the side, while my boyfriend went with the original ramen. We also tried the crispy calamari (though we didn't get a chance to snap a picture!) and decided to branch out with some new menu items: the bacon-wrapped enoki mushrooms and the filet mignon. Food: As always, the food was phenomenal! The consistency and flavors are top-notch. The spicy miso had just the right amount of heat, and the corn and garlic were perfect additions to elevate the dish. The bacon-wrapped enoki mushrooms were a delightful surprise--crispy and savory. The filet mignon was tender and cooked to perfection, making it a great choice for those looking for something beyond ramen. Service: Despite it being a busy day, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. Drinks: We ordered margaritas, and they were fantastic--smooth, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. Definitely the perfect complement to our meal. Ambience: The decor is lovely, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The only minor downside was that the chairs could be a bit more comfortable for longer dining sessions. The noise level was moderate, which made for a pleasant experience. Overall, another incredible visit, and we'll definitely be back again soon!

Yelp
The place is exceptionally clean and bright. The smells inside are wonderful. All of the staff are kind and courteous. Had a friendly greeting when I walked in, and I was seated right away. My waiter was top-notch in his service. He gave me some good recommendations, and I ended up with an appetizer and the beef belly curry rice bowl again. I enjoyed my lunch so much that when I was done with my other errands, I came back to get something different to take back home for later. It's literally across the street from part of Mile Square Golf Course. I had a Thursday tee time there and came back again now that I know that this place is here. I do feel like the potions are a bit small, but everything is very tasty. There is a ton of parking, so it is easy to get in and out of this shopping center. Well worth a try if you are in the area.

Yelp
A review long over due. I leave here each time with a happy and full belly! The food looks just like the photos and the service is quick. You can tell everyone works diligently to keep the restaurant flowing. The aesthetic is very cute inside and it is clean. Definitely worth the visit. Also the happy hour menu is awesome (I dare you to try the $12 Sapporo pitcher) Thank you Kin!

Yelp
It's a Kei concepts place, you already know everything here is spot on and solid. Ambiance and space is very nice, and service is always the best. We had their Seafood Tom Kha Ramen and their curry beef belly. It was pretty filling for two for us, but we also came away feeling good and healthy (mentally). Highly recommended, I would totally come here again!! Great for all sorts of occasions! Plenty of parking!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday with a party of four, and there was plenty of seating. Though there were a lot of open tables, I didn't quite like how they initially seated us at a table where a wet floor sign was touching the chairs and the floor was covered with a puddle of water. Anyways, we got the Chicken Karaage, Chili Garlic Shoyu, and Spicy Miso. The chicken karaage was delicious. The batter was thin, well-seasoned, and crispy. Some pieces were quite fatty, but this added to the flavor, making them juicy and hot, with or without the dipping sauce. As for the the chili garlic shoyu and spicy miso ramen, they shared similar ingredients but the main difference is the broth. Both were very flavorful and delicious though. If I had to choose, I'd prefer the garlic shoyu because it had a strong garlic flavor, and I love garlic in practically anything. Both dishes came with two large pieces of juicy, tender pork belly and a generous amount of fresh bean sprouts, green onion, and cabbage. The chili oil provided a strong kick and tied the whole dish together, though the spicy miso ramen was a tad spicier. They offer free noodle refills for ramen orders only and a free keychain/bottle opener if you post a picture/review on Yelp. Parking was easy.

Yelp
KIN was a great experience with great flavors and very aesthetic interior design. We were seated fairly quickly and used a QR code menu to order. Service was attentive and quick. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it had a good kick! A must try for spice lovers. The chasu was so fatty and flavorful, you savor every small bite. I also tried some beef belly curry which was okay. A little sweet for my preference but wasn't my dish. Overall a great meal, I would recommend!
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
We grabbed an early lunch here and I ordered the original tonkotsu with an egg. I thought the soup was bomb, fatty but not too fatty. Noodles were solid and the pork was good. Glad I grabbed the egg also. I thought it was a good bowl of ramen for a reasonable price. Service was solid, dude kept coming by to check if we needed anything. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
We decided to come here after work for dinner. It was my first time and I've heard nothing but great things; I'm also a fan of other Kei Concepts restaurants. Thankfully we didn't need a reservation and were promptly sat for a party of 6. We started with some Aguachile hamachi and truffle salmon crisp for the appetizers. The hamachi wasn't very flavorful but the salmon had a great soft texture and loved the drizzle of truffle oil. All of the entrees had good flavor but nothing really stood out. Overall, we were happy with the service and food. However, not sure if I'll return as I wasn't left with must desire to try anything else. Compared to other Kei Concepts restaurants, this one fell a bit short.

Yelp
We were not really feeling ramen and got the Uni Udon (uni & mentaiko cream, tobiko) and were seated right away at the bar seating. The udon was so creamy and good, we slurped it right up! It was a quick meal and I am glad to have picked the udon for my first visit at Kin. Love the space they created and the decor they have in the restaurant.

Yelp
This place is one of the Kei Concepts restaurants focusing on modern ramen and izakaya. My partner and I arrived to a busy establishment at around 7:45pm and we placed our names down, leading to about a 30-45 minute wait for a table for two. We only had to wait 20 minutes, however, to instead be seated at the bar which opened up first. I ordered the Uni Udon and shared a Chirashi Bowl with my partner. The udon came with a small, but strong piece of uni that blended well with the creaminess of the udon. The chirashi bowl had a lot of good pieces on there, but the star of the show was the unagi. My partner and I both agree that when we come back, we'll order the unagi don instead. It was really rich in flavor and delivered in every way. There was a Yelp deal that was displayed on one of the placards, stating that if you upload photos of your meal to Yelp, you would get a free gift! We uploaded photos and got a free pin! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the staff was very nice. There's lot of parking outside as well as the assortment of other Kei Concepts restaurants nearby.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a quick ramen brunch during our work day (multiple recommendations brought us here). Very clean and modern restaurant, I felt high class pinky out eating here. We arrived and were two of maybe 4 or 5 customers at that moment. By the time we ordered and had our food coming, the restaurant was half full. Insane how quickly it filled up! We both ended up skipping on the ramen and got their salmon fried rice, as recommended by our waiter, along with a side of their fries.. In recent days I have found restaurants struggling to provide tasty soft rice, but this place was on point with what they delivered. We were both very pleased with the choice, finishing our bowls in record times. She wasn't fond of the side of fries, but to me they made an acceptable side dish. The portions seemed small for the prices listed, but with quality comes financial requirements to maintain. I can dig it and I heavily respect it.
google avatar

Alida H.

Yelp
The ramen itself was decent, but nothing really blew me away. The broth had lacked the richness and complexity that you'd expect from a top-tier ramen spot. The noodles were cooked well, though they weren't particularly unique or memorable. Regardless, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly and attentive. The staff made sure we were taken care of, which definitely added to the overall experience.

Yelp
I've been to almost all the Kei Concept restaurants and I can confirm KIN is one of the best ramen places I've been to! I'm not a huge ramen fan, but I always seem to crave their noodles! The restaurant can get really packed on weekend nights, so we waited 30 minutes, but it was so worth it. The restaurant itself it sort of small but fits a lot of people! Our server was really attentive and refilled our waters when needed, especially because I can't handle spice lol. My favorite was the uni udon! It was super creamy and the udon noodles had the perfect texture. It is very similar to the noodles at the ini restaurant! I will say the portions are shareable between 2 people since the sauces and broth were pretty heavy.

Yelp
Came here for dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questions. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. The complimentary mouthwash is a nice touch! We started off with ube colada and matcha highball for drinks. For food, we got calamari and chashu tom kha ramen. Ube Colada- Sweet and refreshing. It has a good amount of ube flavor and the coconut makes it nice and creamy. Matcha Highball- I enjoyed the foam top. It has a strong matcha flavor and a good amount of alcohol. Calamari- Served hot and crispy with a spicy mayo sauce. The calamari has a nice chewiness to it. Chashu Tom Kha Ramen- The broth is delicious! Creamy and savory with a hint of spice. The chashu is tender and flavorful and the bean sprouts, mushrooms, and onions add a layer of texture. Great meal overall!

Yelp
I have been here many many times, and every single time I am blown away and happy with my decision. This place is truly a gem and will satisfy any ramen lover. Some random things I want to shoutout is that they have purse hangers!!! Which is so convenient. Also the mouthwash, huge plus for me! I recommend the tom kha and the uni udon, hold the uni for me lol. My only complaint is that the fries are not big enough so i can't eat them fast!! haha i wish they bigger because they are so good. Look no further and try Kin! Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Music 10/10

Yelp
Reservation is highly recommended for this place. Came here on the weekend and the line was out the door. Only got appetizers and drinks since we just wanted a quick bite but it was pretty filling overall. I would get the salmon truffle and miso crudo again.

Yelp
One of the more underrated of the kei concept restaurants in my opinion. Quiet and pleasant during lunch with attentive staff, alive at night with full dinner service. Their takoyaki is far from a "light snack" and should be shared amongst a group. Their beef curry is fairly solid, with the pickled radish as a topping/garnish complimenting nicely to the savory meat without being overpowering. The most pleasant surprise was the yuzu lemonade which, to me at first, seemed a bit repetitive. But I was happy to be proven wrong as the floral citrus of the yuzu bounced off the the natural tartness of the lemon. Overall, worth a visit to try a few new takes on Japanese food in the area, can't wait to review their dinner service.

Yelp
Last night was busy in that area, but we got seated within 30 min or so of putting our name down. They greeted us kindly, set our table, gave my daughter a place mat & coloring book. 1st time trying this spot, our server was awesome & helped us decide what to try. Beef tongue was delicious, chicken karaage was great the sauce they serve with it hit the spot. Unfortunately we weren't big on the spicy ramen, but the kids meal was cute & enough for my daughter. We got a little bit of everything hehe. The pork fried rice is still in my mind cause it was absolutely amazing & we enjoyed a chicken skewer, it had a nice glaze. Definitely want to come back & try more stuff. Thanks for a great night.

Yelp
Always love their restaurant group. Plenty of free parking. We ordered a bunch of items. Remember their portion is quit small, so if you plan to share, order double. The server is super friendly, we asked for her recommendatios on top what we already have in mind, she's so happy to help. If you have in a group 5 or more, reservation is recommended. Restaurant is always nice, clean and beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful experience

Yelp
My kid wanted ramen and we looked up and found this place and surprised it was by Kei Concepts. We came close to 9 pm and got seats at the bar. Within a few minutes, a table opened up and they were kind enough to move us. The staff were really sweet and helpful. The food came out really fast. What we ordered: Chicken karaage - cooked well, crispy and tender Calamari - loved the flavor but I found it sitting on too much oil Tom Kha Ramen Spicy Miso Gyu-tonkotsu Both broths were light yet flavorful. Yakatori - Great selection. We picked Pork Belly and Chicken with yuzu glaze. They complemented well with our food and apps. Along with my ramen, I ordered a lychee ume margarita and boy, I just kept on wanting to order it. The rim had li hing salt. Oh it was great. Definitely will be back for ramen.

Yelp
Restaurant has a beautiful modern atmosphere with a bar area. Great for large parties, date nights, fun outings, etc. amazing craft cocktails. Small appetizers to entree meals are offered. Amazing selection for your seafood and non-seafood lovers. There's raw fish as well as ramen. Service is outstanding! You order on a paper at first and they constantly have good service. Items range from $8-$30 depending on what you order. Ramen is decently portioned! Amazing quality food!

Yelp
KIN Craft Ramen where should I begin...This place gets CROWDED so prepare to wait or get there early. I waited with my boyfriend for 45 minutes when they said an hour so that was a great surprise but it was probably because we took the bar seating as opposed to a table. They do text you when your table is ready if you'd like be jn your car while you wait. When we ordered our food came out quick but it was better than i anticipated. I ordered their original ramen and it was the lightest milky broth I've had with Ramen and I've had a lot. I didn't feel so heavy or felt that regret after eating a hearty bowl of ramen. Its unique flavor made up for the simplicities of the ingredients inside. It only came with green onions and bean sprouts but you are able to add other items at an extra cost. The noodles were also of a great consistency. My boyfriend ordered their beef udon which had a that yummy sweet soy broth. The beef was cooked tender and my boyfriend said it might be some of the best udon he's had in a long time. We also ordered the Temaki set. It was good it was a basic set to made some hand rolls with but next time i'd like to order their other raw item.

Yelp
LUNCH They have two different menus set for lunch and dinner. If you wanted to come here for their skewers, then come at dinner time. RESERVATIONS would highly recommend booking if you're coming on the weekend. Parking: Kinda hard to find an open space right away unless you park farther out near the grocery market. Alcohol or their ramen our whole meal did not disappoint. All the options we chose, I would hands down come back here and pick again. Lychee Ume Margarita: YUM YUM, rimmed with salt . I would say I felt a little bit buzzed after drinking this for my light alcohol drinkers. Guava Calipico: DON'T QUESTION IT just get it, tasted like limited edition alcohol Calipico. Would highly recommend, taste like juice with a slight hint of alcohol. Chashu Tom Kha Ramen: Seeped in warm coconut milk. Very Tom Yum ramen inspired dish. I loved the noodle they used for this, noodle was on the thinner side and bouncy texture.

Yelp
Been coming here for ages! Gets a little loud sometimes when it's busy and I recommend making reservations during evenings. Especially the weekend. The seafood Tom kha never misses! I've tried the beef tongue curry as well and it's decent but the meat was a little gamey/chewy.

Yelp
Great food and great ambiance! The interior design is beautiful and the food is consistently high quality. Some of my favorite items are: - Miso Salmon and Crab - Augachile Hamachi - Chicken Kaarage - Seafood Tom Kha Ramen - Fried Rice with Salmon - Chirashi Bowl Some tips for dining here: - They can get quite busy during peak hours, but they take reservations on OpenTable! - There's a large/spacious parking lot - They offer different menu items for lunch and dinner - There's a kids meal and they have super cute kids' table settings My family and I love dining here and taking our relatives here whenever they visit us from out of town. The service is typically good, friendly and quick. The restaurant can get a bit loud because of the open floor plan, but can still be great for a date night or dinner with friends. Excited to continue dining here and trying new items!

Yelp
Today was our third visit here. Food & service were exceptional as usual! We had the same server as before and he was very attentive and made sure our orders were correct, checked up on us, and offered their unlimited ramen refill without us having to ask. Personally, I prefer my noodles thick so I was glad they allowed me to substitute to udon for my tonkatsu :) The broth was so flavorful, definitely a top 3 for me. The soda float was soooo good!! (inspired me to make some at home ngl) yall should try it too, the melon was so good!!!

Yelp
Why is that every time you go to a Kei concepts, it's always the best version of the cuisine you've ever had. It doesn't matter what genre of food they choose to do. It's always the best possible outcome. Sure, come to KIN. But do yourself a favor and try every concept they have. All the food here was top notch. They constantly have multiple staff members visiting your table to solidify a great experience. They raise the bar in all aspects of running a restaurant/business. Soon, they will be bigger than Disney! lol No, but seriously. It's a hostile takeover in this restaurant game and Kei Concepts is on the winning side leading the charge.

Yelp
We got here around 7:45pm for dinner and placed our names on the waitlist. We waited about 20 minutes for the next available seating which was at the bar as opposed to a designated table. I ordered the Seafood Tom Kha Ramen and shared a Chirashi Bowl with my partner. The broth of the ramen was delicious and reminded me why I love tom yum and tom kha broths. The seafood, especially the scallop, was amazing. When I finished the noodles in my bowl, the staff came by and asked if I wanted extra noodles to finish off the leftover broth. I gladly accepted and appreciated that it was free of charge. As such, the staff is really nice and checks up on you frequently to ensure everything is going well. There's lot of parking outside in the plaza which is filled with other restaurants nearby.

Yelp
Kin is always a solid place to go with friends! I usually get their chasu fried rice but wanted to try their new unagi rice bowl. The unagi was cooked well, seasoned nicely with a rich and flavorful sauce. The ratio of fish to rice was also perfect! But I wasn't expecting for there to be so many bones in the fish. There were 2-3 bigger bones, but very many tiny bones. I expected it to be completely deboned. Maybe I'm just not accustomed to eating this entire unagi fillet, but it always wasn't mentioned to me when I ordered it of the menu. Overall Kin is still a pretty solid choice for dinner, would recommend this dinner place to friends :)

Yelp
Had this bookmarked for quite some time & I'm glad I got to try it! Booked a reservations for 3 at 5 pm initially but we had to switch it to 6 due to traffic. They had no issues with it whatsoever and were extremely accommodating! We got sat right away when we got there and were greeted by a very friendly server. She went over the menu with us and provided some recommendations. We ordered: Chasu tom kha - they are known for their Tom kha ramen so I had to give it a try. If you're looking for a more traditional ramen taste, this isn't it. It tastes more like the Thai Tom yum soup based with a hint of coconut. It is sweet and sour with just the right amount of heat. The pieces of chasu were very filling and soft. The noodles were chewy. Everything blended together very well. - 4.5/5 Spicy miso ramen with chasu - this had a more traditional miso ramen taste to it but they weren't lying when they said spicy because the heat was there! Bowl was full of flavor - 4.5/5 Beef curry rice bowl - this is like a Japanese curry bowl and it was delicious. The ride cooked to perfection and the pieces of meat were extremely tender. 4.5/5 Chicken karaage - delicious!!!!! Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside! It came with their own sauce which had a hint of lemon to it. It went together so well. - 5/5 Fried calamari - right off the bat you can tell the squid was extremely fresh. It was tender! Just the right amount of seasoning and crisp. - 5/5 Skewers - we ordered the chicken thigh, filet mignon, and pork belly. All were good and flavorful. Meat was perfectly cooked. 4.5/5 Yuzu margaritas - Tasty. Right amount of alcohol and sweet. - 4/5 Great ambiance. Friendly staff. Aesthetically pleasing.

Yelp
Came to celebrate my cousin's birthday. We came around 5 and we made a reservation. There was plenty of parking and no one in the restaurant. So we can be relaxed. The music was good. Not too loud. Food was good. We came here hungry! We ordered Drinks - Peach black tea (it was ok. Our waitress forgot about it and we had to remind her again) Small plates - Hamachi collar (fried and seasoned well) Raw - Aguachile hamachi (love the seasoning) - Temahi salmon set (good. Basically have to make it your own sushi hand roll. Can be very filling) Rice - Chashu Fried rice (my toddler really loves this) Meat / seafood - Chicken thigh - Pork belly (really good.) - Filet mignon - Scallops - Enochi bacon - Lamb Chops (really good. Took awhile. We asked the waitress and she said it usually takes the longest. So be cautious if you want to order more.) Sauces (Sauces are really good. I wish this was included with the meats because the meats/seafood is expensive as is) Yuzo glaze Yuzo kosho Desserts (both are really good) Black sesame coconut sago Matcha tiramisu My overall experience was good. Wasn't bad but for the cost of it to be about $300 it should have been better. The waitress forgot our tea and had to remind her. She seemed to think that we knew what we were doing and assumed that we knew that the lamb chops took the longest. I'm really upset that we came here with my toddler and no one offered a kids menu/kids coloring book/kids crayons. Instead my son was only eating fried rice. We could have ordered something kid friendly but it was towards the end of our meal when I saw another table getting a kids meal.

Yelp
I am a big fan of all the kei restaurants. This ramen spot is no exception. I really like the fact that you can get unlimited noodles. The service here has been excellent and the food actually is delicious. The ambience of the place is nice and modern. Looks like they know what they are doing because the restaurant was packed when we went. They make a nice bowl of ramen. We also ordered some gyoza and edamame. Parking here can be a bit of a challenge but we were able to find it luckily.
