Oysters, crab legs, seafood boils, and bar specials

"The Deal: $69.95 AYCE Snow Crab It might be called King Crab House, but when it comes to AYCE, this longstanding Lincoln Park spot is all about snow crab. At $69.95, it’s definitely one of the pricier options on this list. But if you self-identify as a crab fiend, then you’ll probably have no issue cracking your way through enough crab legs to make a trip worth it." - john ringor
"It might be called King Crab House, but when it comes to AYCE, this longstanding Lincoln Park seafood spot is all about the snow crab. If you self-identify as a crab fiend and have $69.95 to spare, then you’ll probably have no issue cracking your way through enough crab legs to make a trip worth it. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - John Ringor

"I saw that Crab Cellar closed last weekend after seven years, and Lettuce Entertain You has announced it will be replaced as part of the group's Lincoln Park openings." - Ashok Selvam

"Located at 1962 N. Halsted Street in Lincoln Park, I’ve known Quality Crab and Oyster Bah since it opened in 2015 as a more casual counterpoint to LEYE’s Shaw’s Crab House; it became known for its all-you-can-eat crab leg and burger special and quickly carved out a niche as a solid date destination. I noticed the wood-paneled dining room, the glass-enclosed raw bar that gives patrons a close-up view of un-shucked bivalves, and the New England seafood-shack vibe reinforced by decorative buoys and fishing nets. The space has evolved over the years—LEYE even debuted its first virtual restaurant, Seaside, there in 2017 and used the spot to serve fried chicken and ribs—and the restaurant will close on Saturday, December 3 after seven years." - Naomi Waxman

"Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises operates several seafood spots around town, but when it comes to oyster specials, fans of the group should head straight to New England-style spot in Lincoln Park. Oysters on the half shell go for $2.50 each, alongside fry-and-oyster towers ($18 for six oysters, $33 for 12) with a rotating weekly fry special. Notably, this happy hour comes with a major drinks deal: every Bah beverage is half price from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday." - Naomi Waxman, Ashok Selvam
