"Located at 1962 N. Halsted Street in Lincoln Park, I’ve known Quality Crab and Oyster Bah since it opened in 2015 as a more casual counterpoint to LEYE’s Shaw’s Crab House; it became known for its all-you-can-eat crab leg and burger special and quickly carved out a niche as a solid date destination. I noticed the wood-paneled dining room, the glass-enclosed raw bar that gives patrons a close-up view of un-shucked bivalves, and the New England seafood-shack vibe reinforced by decorative buoys and fishing nets. The space has evolved over the years—LEYE even debuted its first virtual restaurant, Seaside, there in 2017 and used the spot to serve fried chicken and ribs—and the restaurant will close on Saturday, December 3 after seven years." - Naomi Waxman
