Hidden gems beneath King KTV in Chinatown! Authentic, sizzling woks, heavenly dumplings and spicy Sichuan noodles. Cozy, bustling atmosphere with friendly staff and wallet‑friendly prices. A delicious under‑the‑radar treat!

We had such a fun time in the private karaoke room. Drinks were great, the staff was friendly, and the room was spacious. They have two microphones, and you can search YouTube for songs and queue them. We ended up spending around $600 for 8 people including the room reservation and drinks. Would definitely come here again!

I’ve been here at least 6 times. Last visit was for my 30th birthday in May. We reserved a room for a few hours and arrived a bit late. None of it mattered though because we had a GREAT TIME! Our server Lisa was phenomenal! She made sure she checked on us frequently, was able to give me and another birthday girl a free shot, and a bucket of drinks after reserving a table outside of the room we had by the bar. She even made it more special and took a moment to dance with us to one of my favorite songs. If you are looking to have a good time go here. Drinks are great! Food is good! Servers and bartenders are nice and respectful as well as security, it’s also super clean, some rooms have private bathrooms, parking is right across the street and if you get too drunk you can take the elevator to exit instead of the stairs. I can’t wait to come back! Definitely one of my favorite places to visit on ANY occasion <3

Very spacious and clean. A lot of features added to their private karaoke room. They have youtube to order karaoke on their ipads but they do not have a karaoke platform for queue thd songs

My friends and I stopped by for a quick drink while we waited for our table at MCCB. The atmosphere was charming and welcoming, with a vibrant energy that immediately grabbed our attention. It’s an incredibly stylish venue, perfect for a fun night out, especially with karaoke on the menu. We felt right at home in this lively and inviting spot.

Yelp
We made a karaoke room reservation to come here as a group of 6 for NYE. I was able to make the reservation online and pay a deposit. I did, however, get a phone call a couple days before about requesting to change my reservation time since they had overbooked. I'm not really sure what happened there, but the good news is, we were able to keep our original time. I didn't realize that it was also a nightclub; it sounds like this is a newer addition to the business. There was a line for the nightclub. At first, we stood in that line, thinking it was also for karaoke room reservations. Luckily, you can skip the line if you have a reservation! The room itself was really nice. There was a private bathroom also. The service buttons in the room are really convenient for ordering more food or drinks. The karaoke software is a bit challenging to use, but it does have a lot of great songs in there. There's an option to use YouTube, but it doesn't work as well. We ordered the veggie egg rolls and waffle fries. They were just okay. There's not a lot to expect out of food from a place like this. The cocktails were strong, according to our friends who ordered them. I opted for a wine, which seemed safer! I'd love to come back. It's nice having an environment for karaoke where it's just your friends.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday night. To get to the location you walk in a corner building and go up the stairs. The whole place smelt like urine. Bartenders were very friendly and made good drinks. The light system throughout the place was good. Place overall lacked cleanliness. Definitely will never come back.

Yelp
Not to say we had a bad time, but it could have been about 10x better. The room was spacious and had a ton of seating. The sound was okay, though it was hard to hear yourself singing. The issue is more with the price of drinks and the service at the bar. The cheapest drink you could order was a beer for $8. The cocktails were all $18 and while tasty, they were way too sweet. The bartender was also pretty slow and not especially friendly. But on top of the $18 drinks, gratuity of 20% was added onto the bill. I'm a tipper and would have tipped. But for three drinks it came out to $78 which is just bananas! Not a fan of this place.

Yelp
Came to Chinatown with a group for a birthday and didn't know where to go for karaoke. Went to the closest one that popped up on google maps and this showed up, and we got so lucky! It was pretty cheap for a group of 5 people getting a room for $16 per hour. Service was amazing and the employee who took care of us (his name was Jessie or Justin) was so kind! Whenever we needed something, he came to us quick and was so down to earth considering that we were a loud bunch. We just ordered fries, nuggets and soju and they were all pretty standard and came out fairly quick. 10/10 would come again for the next birthday!

Yelp
Context: family and friends vacation to Chicago in November 2023. Age range 30-40 Pros: private karaoke rooms Open dance floor w DJ and bar. great lighting and high top cocktail tables Karaoke rooms have control panels where you can adjust your own lighting preference and service button Customer service was superb. Jesse took care of us and really went the extra mile. Highly recommend Bottle service in private room - we requested to opt out the "special" room package where it was a set type of liquor and drinks -- ran a tab to meet the min requirement. Rooms have private bathroom and was clean. Very nice feature Cons: Karaoke was YouTube selection which was odd. We liked it but having book selection and karaoke videos and lyrics would be nice to have as well A/c wasn't working or at least working well. Became very hot in the room. They tried fixing but never cooled the room Would recommend.

Yelp
My recent visit to King KTV karaoke bar, left me with mixed feelings about the overall experience. On the positive side, the interior design and ambience of the place were truly impressive. The venue had a modern and stylish aesthetic, creating a welcoming atmosphere for karaoke enthusiasts. Each private room also had a private bathroom inside. Additionally, the bottled drinks were strong and satisfying, adding a touch of enjoyment to the evening. However, there were several aspects of the experience that fell short. Firstly, we encountered mixed information regarding the pricing, which led to confusion and frustration. It would have been helpful if the staff provided clear and consistent information to avoid any misunderstandings. Furthermore, the karaoke systems was slow, hard to operate, and wasn't fully in English, making it challenging for to navigate and select songs. I was also disappointed to find that the song selection did not include many of the popular recent hits, which may have diminished the fun and variety of the karaoke experience. Lastly, we experienced an issue with the billing. The staff added a couple of extra bottles to our check that we neither ordered nor received. We had to bring this to their attention and ask them to remove the incorrect charges, which was an inconvenience and detracted from the overall enjoyment of the evening.

Yelp
I've had several experiences with this place that have led to my poor review. Price: This place is insanely expensive for what it's worth. Their rates are based on party size, room size, and duration, though their high prices don't warrant what you get out of the experience. First you have to put down a substantial deposit ahead of time. After your night, you are provided a receipt for all costs, including a large rental fee (why is it not included as part of the room?) and an included, non-negotiable 20% gratuity. They also try to catch you with an additional tip if you don't read the receipt correctly. Yes you can have orders taken and drinks provided by the employees to your room (which is put on the room bill at the end), but you can also go straight to the bar to order yourself. Atmosphere: Overall, the whole place has a nice aesthetic. Sleek metallic walls, (mostly) sound proof rooms, clean rooms and areas, and fun lighting is found throughout. But right when you walk in, you're greeted with poor service (I'll get to that later) and then have a hard time in the rooms. Basically, it's all a facade. System: The karaoke system is incredibly finicky and consistently shuts down or freezes on you, resulting in the employees having to come in to reboot it during your time - many, many times. For example, my last reservation there we had a room for 3 hours and it froze after every song and shut down completely probably 10 times. The workers blame the slow network, but if that's the case then they should invest in better technology or instead lower their prices. When searching for songs, you can never find anything. It's an odd search functionality where you must type in the first letter of each word to find what you're looking for instead of the full phrase of artist. Most of the preloaded songs are all in Mandarin, so with that searching for songs or artists in English is a chore in itself. They do offer the YouTube app to search for and play songs, so that is helpful. Sound, light options, and volume are all good, but if the full karaoke system shuts down consistently, it far out outweighs that. Drinks: Drinks are very pricey. For example, a plain vodka soda is $15+ - so no matter what you get, that adds up fast. Service: One girl there is friendly (to an extent), but all others I've encountered could not be bothered to provide good service. This goes for those working the front desk, the bar staff, and everyone in between. Going back to tip, if 20% is already included - and if they're asking for more, one would expect this place to have welcoming, helpful employees. Rooms: Overall, the rooms are nice. Ample and comfortable seating, large tables, and larger rooms have private bathrooms. Biggest downside is the AC - it rarely works, does not extend to the full room when working, the employees constantly have to come and work on it, and to mediate it they have put poor-working fans in the rooms to "help". Let me tell you, they do not work and the rooms are always so, so hot. Ultimately, I recommend finding a different place for your karaoke experience.

Yelp
First off there's a 70 dollar cleaning fee. 70 dollars. Do not go here. They didn't have food at 8 pm. They said you can extend karaoke but when we did they said it's already booked and they gave us no warning that we wouldn't be able to extend so they kicked us out in the middle of a birthday party into a bar that smells of cigarettes. It was hot so we complained, then the air kicked on and it smelled of cigarettes. Our server sent in the bud boy Oscar who asked us what we wanted to drink and then the drinks never came. Then she comes back 20 minutes before we're kicked out and double charges us for drinks that arrive 10'minutes before we're getting kicked out. Ask for a rum and Coke and they bring coconut rub and coke. This place is a joke. Do not go. They will ruin your event or party. Design is pretty nice and private bathroom is nice. But you pay out the nose for it. Also the karaoke machine is literally YouTube. The table is finicky and that's Literally the first thing they tell you when you enter. Brandos is better if you want karaoke.

Yelp
The rooms are spacious and the lighting is very cool. Our group had a lot of fun singing and dancing.

Yelp
Overall not a great experience. We decided to upgrade to the 3-hour package to waive the room fee if we spent $599. Service was incredibly slow, we were waiting on drinks for over 20 min. Service was confusing as we would have 3 waiters at times. Our main waiter was nice and offered to get us all complementary shots for the wait but the other waitress was so rude and claimed we were lying about not receiving drinks so we did not get the shots. We were worried we weren't going to be able to hit the minimum just because the wait for drinks was so bad. The room also had terrible AC, it was so hot and uncomfortable. Their kitchen was also closed at 8:30 so we weren't able to get food. For the karaoke portion it was nice that they had YouTube as an option to search songs but you had to sit through an ad every time. At the end of the night billing was super confusing, we hit the minimum $599 but since we didn't upgrade to the 3-hour package 48 hours before, our room deposit (cost of 1-hour in the room) was not waived. There was also a cleaning fee and a credit card fee making the bill extremely high. Overall I would not recommend this place there are plenty of better options in china town for a way better experience! I recommend Sakura Karaoke down the street!
