The Best Asian Noodles in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"For those into customization, King Noodle is the place. For a set price, there’s a choice of soup base, noodles, and meat/vegetable toppings. The noodles themselves range from rice noodles (vermicelli to wide versions), udon, QQ noodles, and even instant — all worth a try. Soups include chicken broth, original fish soup, hot spicy, Szechuan spicy, sour and hot, and Thai tom yum goong. Offal lovers will find tripe and kidney, while those seeking safety in familiarity can order beef brisket and free range chicken." - Jay Friedman

Google
So good! I ate here 3 days in a row on my recent visit to Seattle. Tried a different combination every time and loved each one. It is definitely going to be my regular spot every time I’m in Seattle!

Google
NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY My school was on a field trip and we wanted to stop for lunch, so our teacher chose King Noodle. I walked in and saw that the food safety inspection was "Okay" and that made me wonder if the food would get me sick! As my vegetarian friends and I looked at the menu, we could see almost no vegetarian options and resorted to plain rice noodles. Our water was delivered quickly and the server was great, except they could not give me plain rice noodles! I ended up having to order rice noodles WITH bone broth which I was very unhappy with. It tasted fine though. It was unclear to me if the spicy broth was vegetarian or not, but one of my friends ordered it. My other vegetarian friend ended up ordering nothing because it was overwhelming to find vegetarian options. My other non vegetarian classmates said the dumplings were so good though, and that there were lots of options. Even worse (which is why I'm giving 2 stars not 3) I saw no signs of advertising that their meat was ethically sourced, which means it was probably factory farmed! 😭 I highly do NOT recommend this place for anyone who is vegetarian or vegan unless you don't mind bone broth. I also did not get food poisoning, but I was uncomfortable about the food safety inspection. 😬

Google
Would give this place a 3/5 stars mediocre ramen with really questionable service. I walked in and the cook stared at me funny which is nice and welcoming for somewhere i’d be spending my money at. I ordered hot tea and received iced tea while specifically circling the hot option on the menu system. But hey at least their potstickers are thick and stuffed with meat so that’s a plus. Would not recommend it tho.

Google
cute little spot to get some homie Hong Kong noodles. the portions were huge, well worth the money. the claypot rice also looks good, i would come back to try it next time!

Google
My friend took me here because she swore it was her favorite noodle place in Seattle. And boy, it did not disappoint. I ordered, the pork and vegetable dumplings which were alright. And the beef Sichuan noodles (spicy). I normally enjoy a medium spice level but sheesh was this spicy (in the best way!). The broth was rich and spicy. So good that I ignored the spice and had to finish the bowl. I'm not a very big eater and I'd suggest sharing if you have the option. I did enjoy the fact that you can select a few toppings to customize your soup. Will be back again!

Google
I have been eating at this place for quite some years, and I am glad they survived the pandemic. They offer noodle with customizable options, which is a rare find. The price is very reasonable, the portions are generous. The owner doesn't talk much, but his service is impeccable. I am not sure why some reviewers complained about the service, which has never been a problem for me. And I visited this place a lot.

Google
I travel a lot, but every time I come to Seattle, King Noodle is my must-go spot. I literally go straight from the airport to this place—and sometimes even make a stop before heading back out! I’ve been coming here for years and it never gets old. The noodle soup is warm, flavorful, and comforting every single time. The staff is always super friendly and kind, and the mango sago is a personal favorite—so refreshing and delicious. Just keep in mind they close at 7 PM. If you’re ever in Seattle, don’t miss this gem!

Google
Awesome little spot to get amazing, authentic noodles and dumplings. The noodle bowls are enormous, more than enough for a meal for any person. Very cozy inside, but a great experience. They do not accept Amex cards, only Visa and Mastercard.

Yelp
Before I did reviews, I used to come here specifically for their noodle bowls, and those were on point here! This time I went because I heard their stone pot rice dishes rival that of some other places in Chinatown I visit frequently, some of which I still consider my favorites. I went here during a Saturday around 6pm, and there was plenty of seating inside. There's not many tables but the place feels relatively quiet, which is nice when it's hot outside. My friend and I were seated relatively quickly and we made our orders. The server was really kind to accommodate one of my orders and answer questions I had on the menu. I ordered a stone pot rice with pork spareribs, Chinese sausage and eggs. As a side note, you get to choose two toppings for your stone pot rice, and get charged extra for each extra topping you add. This may also be the case when ordering noodle soup here too. The whole pot felt pretty much exactly what I'd expect from a stone pot rice bowl and more. I loved how I could choose the toppings and make it more of my own, and everything tasted great together! Both my friend and I were very satisfied. This place is one of several I like to take visitors to because of their quality of food, I highly recommend here!

Yelp
The food came out fast and was hot and delicious. I would highly recommend the dumplings, they were soft with a nice crisp to them
google avatar

Yelp
Large portions and full of flavors. The broth is amazing and wontons almost as good as mikes noodle house. The service was good; server speaks Chinese and English. Lots of seating today and overall good experience
google avatar

Lando T.

Yelp
The food is made to order and is served in a giant portion. On arrival you are given a hot tea and a menu. If you go for the noodles you get to: 1. Choose broth 2. Choose noodle type 3. Choose veggies 4. Choose a protein This restaurant is nice for a quick lunch solo or with friends. This is my second visit and I will keep coming back!

Yelp
Never expected that the clay pot rice is so good as I usually come here for the soup noodle. Lots of toppings and cooked so quickly that still has crispy rice at the bottom! Big portions of food. As a restaurant in Chinatown it is quite clean and the staff are friendly. Don't miss this hidden gem and it's easy to get a table.

Yelp
I love noodles, and King Noodle hits the noodle and soup spot for me. The restaurant is small- it has 9 metal tables crammed into a cozy space, and you can see the kitchen through a small window in the back. I've only ever seen the same man working there; he is quiet but friendly and efficient. When you walk in, you'll be pounted to an empty table. The server (the aforementioned man) will bring utensils, water, and a half sheet of paper. This paper is your menu and order form. I like to get the pork and vegetable dumplings, pan fried, of course, and a bowl of soup. The menu/order form def felt overwhelming my first time there. There are no pictures or descriptions of any of the items. I have since learned that- you can't really go wrong with any of your choices. My noodle order of choic is usually something like- original soup, noodles (yep, one of the noodle option is just "noodles" among choices like "flat rice noodle" and "udon"), cabbage, beansprouts, wontons, and another meat or vegetable. I got roast duck the most recent time. This gets me a large bowl full of delicious and filling food. I love the texture of the cabbage and beansprouts against the perfectly tender noodles. I have not had their rice bowls, but they come out sizzling and seems to be a favorite amonst the regulars. I got there around 11:50AM on a week day last time, and noticed I was just ahead of a rush that came in around noon. Turnover seems pretty fast though, so I wouldn't let a full restaurant or a large crowd deter you.

Yelp
My friend suggested that we come here today, and when I stepped in, I immediately remembered that I had gone here a lot in my childhood! An accidental nostalgic moment :) I ordered the congee and my friends got the noodle soup. The prices are great and the portions are pretty filling. We definitely had comfort food for lunch today!
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
You get to choose soup base, noodle, toppings. Good stop if you're looking for quick and simple dishes! Service is as efficient as they can make it.
google avatar

Yelp
Go for the noodles, stay for the dumplings. This is my favorite place in the International District. It's small in side but the food is great. Build your own noodle bowl, and add a side of the dumplings!
google avatar

Yelp
Came for lunch here. It was quite busy but we got a table for two pretty quickly. This place reminded me of Japan in terms of efficiency (in and out). Eat your soup and head out. I loved the build your own soup option and chose wonton with BBQ pork with sichuan(?) broth! It was pretty spicy and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bowl of soup, service was fast and to the point.

Anna K.

Yelp
The soup I ordered reminded me of the wonton soup I had when I was little. King Noodle could improve on adding salt or spices. The soup we ordered was bland. I love the wonton and noodles! Also, serve everyone hot tea even if they don't pass as Chinese.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch, my other half wanted to eat stone pot rice..he ordered the slice pork and Chinese sausage rice bowl, I ordered Chinese flat rice noodle soup ( haw fun) with beef tripe and duck with a fish broth and Napa cabbage,. This was the first time I ordered this broth. We also ordered pan fried dumplings with pork and chives. The noodle soup 5/5. The.broth was delicious, very memorable! Generous amount of tripe too The stone pot rice dish 3/5. Rather bland. Not what he remembers. The dumplings were okay. Lots of meat filling, but I thought too much chives. The chives overpowered the meat. Not a good balance . We are happy this restaurant survived the COVID 19 pandemic, it was 6 years since our last visit Recommend this restaurant, especially for their noodle soups, you can customize your order choose from a large selection of toppings, broths, noodles veggies, etc

Yelp
Born in the US. European descent. I had previously tried pork intestine and detested it. Their menu had some kind of marinated pork intestine, and I like to push myself and give things a second chance. It is a battle of the ages. I was able to eat most of the intestine this time. The first time I tried it elsewhere, I ate one slice and was finished. I don't know what King Noodle marinated it in, but it was decent. The main thing was of course the soup. The main important thing to me is how good is the broth? I thought it was very enjoyable.

Yelp
Homemade dumplings are the best there. We don't go anywhere else when visiting International District's Chinatown. Soups and congee are good there too. Service is good too; and not much waiting time. In front of a public park too.

Yelp
Generous portions for its price especially for the Congee. We were visiting Seattle, and we went 2/5 days because my friends loved it and wanted to go back. Parking was easy to find, food was good and quick to be served. Good local Chinese Noodle House.

Yelp
I came here while looking for noodles in International District. Immediately after walking in, I noticed that it was pretty hot in the restaurant. However, it was not too cramped inside and reasonably clean. My group ordered three noodle soup bowls with various toppings and soup bases. The server was very friendly, and even gave us some recommendations. While the portion sizes were good, food overall left a little to be desired. For our soup bases we got the hot and spicy, Szechuan, and the tom yum with the QQ noodles. we found that the soups, with the exception of the tom yum, were not flavorful enough for our tastes. Also, the QQ noodles were very smooth and did not absorb or add to the soups. I personally got the duck meat in my noodles, and I thought it was pretty dry and lacking flavor as well. tl;dr while the service was fast & friendly I would not return for the food
google avatar

Eugene S.

Yelp
Unbelievable. There was something in my noodles. It was not part of food or any roots from vegetables. It was delicious and enjoyable until I found it.
google avatar

Wennie H.

Yelp
This place used to be really good imo because of the customization aspect but my last visit made me realize that it was just okay. I don't feel the price for quality (or even quantity) is worth it. The fried dumplings are worth it, 100% I would come just for those alone. I would also come to try the congee or rice bowl but I don't think I would come again for the noodles.
google avatar

Tammy L.

Yelp
If you're craving a comforting bowl of noodles with soup, this is the place! I normally get chicken or fish broth with flat rice noodle and for toppings BBQ pork, pork spareribs, or BBQ duck. Also love how unassuming this place is, truly feels like a hidden gem.

Yelp
I'm a personal Chef that just moved to Chinatown on Tuesday 2/20. There was a celebration today 2/24 and I thought it would be nice to get some noodles on my way home. I googled "Best Noodles" near where I live which is 2 blocks away. 4 restaurants came up. Gourmet Noodle Bowl, King Noodle, Jufen Noodle House, and Mike's Noodles. I was on foot and on King Street which has Mike's and King's. Mike's has (982) reviews and 4.3 stars and King's has (520) 4.2 stars. Normally I would go where there are more reviews so Mike's but I was on King's side of the street so I choose them. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! When I walked in there was a lady on her phone texting or whatever and NEVER looked up to say hi, welcome in, are you dining in or carry out? I should have turned around at that point and walked out! But I'm hungry, tired, and was already there. I grabbed a menu and looked at it for about 5 minutes because I make noodles myself and thought about what I would try that's different from what I make. I choose Szechuan Style Beef and according to the menu it says "Mixed Noodles (with soup on the side) $12.49. I told women I was ready to order and she then asked if I was dining in or taking out. I said take out. It's super cold in Seattle today this just happened about 25 minutes ago and it's 6:18 PM and temperature is 49°. Soup with my noodles sounds PERFECT. I place the order she says nothing else, some guy takes my debit card and charges me 14.32 and I rounded it to 16.00. I didn't leave much because I wasn't dining in. A few minutes later he hands me a bag and I walk out the door. I got 10 steps out and thought "my bad sure was light" so I turned around and went back inside grabbed a menu to make sure I wasn't crazy or dumb. It says (with soup in the side) $12.49. So I ask him where the soup was. That's when this woman takes herself off MUTE and says "Only soup if you dine in." So I asked guy for my credit card slip back and scratched out the tip and rewrote 14.32 and I asked her where does it say that on the menu or in the restaurant? She said "we don't have it on anything." I then said, "You are being selfish, cheap, or Lazy! I really wanted the soup and you could have put it in a TO-GO container!" I did not give them ANY time to reply I left and will NEVER come back! I'm going to contact Wells Fargo and dispute 5.00 of the 14.32 because I WANTED what they advertised SOUP ON THE SIDE! Wells Fargo is good about disputes and I will get 5.00 charged back! IT'S NOT THE MONEY it's the principle. Also look at photo...no soy sauce, container wasn't even filled with the noodles, there was way more noodles to meat ratio We the CUSTOMERS are tired of YOU restaurants being PETTY! You should have offered me the Soup, or just given it to me! I should have gone to Mike's! Next time a customer walks in the door lady get your face out of your phone and look up! RUDE! (misleading restaurant don't order takeout from here...better yet don't even go here!)

Yelp
Awesome restaurant at a relatively low price. has a cool menu where you can customize your meal! food came fast and the service was nice. restaurant was small and cozy.

Yelp
Amazing food at the best prices. The server was very nice too. Everything was great at this restaurant. Got sat quickly too and the restaurant was clean. Can't wait to come back here again when I'm back in Seattle!

Yelp
TLDR; good spot in chinatown for authentic, reasonably priced food (congee and noodle soups). nothing fancy but tastes good! my dad and i were originally going to eat at a dim sum place nearby but there was no seating. we stumbled across king noodle while walking around the main part of chinatown. the inside of the restaurant is pretty small so there's not that many tables, but it also wasn't very crowded. service is very straight to the point (not overly warm/friendly) but pretty efficient. we got congee and gai lan. congee - very authentic and good portion size. very simple dish but tasted good. gai lan - also very simple dish with the oyster sauce. the dishes tasted good and reminded me of china. overall, king noodle satisfied my expectations and i would come back!
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
An unassuming little restaurant in international district. Had I not been here before, I probably would not have considered eating here! We ordered the build your own noodles (with wonton noodles and szechuan spicy broth) and the congee. Both were so tasty and really hit the spot. The szechuan spicy broth was so good I would probably just drink a bowl of that by itself. I like that you can choose which toppings you want too! I chose beef short rib and tofu skin. The beef short rib had pieces of cartilage/tendon and fat which I'm not a big fan of, but other than that both toppings were great. I also got it with wonton noodles (seemed like egg noodles) which were also good, but there are quite a few other noodle options as well. Congee was also really delicious and had the expected congee taste. You can also choose toppings for this dish as well! It was piping hot, thick, and savory. The dumplings we got were also good (lots of meat and very juicy), but had a bit of a funky smell to it. This restaurant had a "good" food safety rating, which is a little concerning. Nonetheless, the food was delicious and authentic.

Yelp
I ordered congee with century egg and pork here. They have good service and the food came out fast. It was quite good and quite affordable. I would definitely come back! It's authentic and the noodles are pretty good as well. I've come here many times and you'll see why if you pay this place a visit. It's truly a hidden gem in Chinatown!
google avatar

Yelp
Glad to see King Noodle doing well with the pandemic. Ordered the porridge with century egg and fish ball. Also ordered it with fish before. Food comes out fairly fast. Easy for take out or dining in. I've also had their DIY (pick your toppings) noodles pre-COVID. Parking is definitely the most challenging here, being in Chinatown. Best to take public transit or walk if you are nearby! All in all, good spot for good value eats! Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!

Yelp
Solid 4.5. Overwhelmed by the crowds at the U District Street Fair (and subsequently hungry), we decided to hop the light rail to Chinatown for a bite. Yes, yes, I know there was great food at the fair. BUTTTT Context: Picture 3 introverts plus 2 very young kiddos. We looked at the food lines and said NAHHH.... We were definitely happy with our choice. A short walking distance from the stop at International District, we turned a corner and walked up the street, passed the long lines of the Chung Chun Seoul Hotdog place, and bam, King Noodle. Cozy and clean interior. Food is by paper checklist. Pick your items and give to the server. It can get overwhelming with all the choices. I loved the rice pot - so comforting and aptly seasoned. Shrimp was juicy and perfectly cooked. The pork was perfection, not too salty and not a bit greasy. With the crispy rice at the bottom, this was perfection. The dumplings are generously filled! We liked the chives with pork slightly better than the veggie with pork. My roomie enjoyed her soup and her sis enjoyed the spicy noodles. I would love to come back for a hot bowl of soup when the weather is a bit gloomy. Likely soon, cuz you know...it is Seattle.
google avatar

Gillian F.

Yelp
Huge, beautiful, steaming bowls of soup. Love all the amazing toppings you can put in here. Pretty dang fast service as well! The broth choices are also great and it felt like there was something for people of all tastes. This is a dope lunch spot for when you want something steamy and delightful as well as filling!

Yelp
Amazing and best Chinese food in town. We've been coming here for over 15 years. Very hard working and dedicated owner. Food is authentic and consistent EVERY SINGLE TIME. Clean and fast service, too. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Coming to work in 20 degree weather you crave soup noodles. My friend and I split and order for lunch today. I like that you can customize what soup, noodles select two toppings from a large list and two vegetables. I went with the chicken broth, brisket and wonton with udon noodles and mushrooms and leeks. Was perfect for the two of us, the brisket was tasty and not overly fatty was in nice bite size pieces. Wontons you get three were very packed with filling. Would definitely come back.
google avatar

May D.

Yelp
It's a small and cozy restaurant. Their noodle combo lets you customize your own soup base, toppings, and noodle. I've got Hot Spicy soup base, Flat Rice Noodles and BBQ Pork, Mushroom and Enoki Mushroom for toppings. The servings were big so I wasn't able to finish the whole thing, but the soup itself and the meat were pretty tasty! I loved it! They also give out free chili sauce and peppers for more flavorings. They also have other plenty of choices on their menu, such as congee, dumplings, other Chinese dishes. Their service is fast and staff are pretty friendly. They only have few seats and tables inside since the store is pretty small. But they are open for both dine-in and take out. Accepts both cash or card. They are walking distance from international district station.
google avatar

Joan K.

Yelp
I go here specifically for the congee. My toppings are minced beef and beef balls with a side of the fried Chinese donut. At times the fried Chinese donut order is doubled depending if my daughter is extra hungry that day. This combination is the best in comfort food. My pallet is of an Asian American 12 yr old. If this sounds like you, then you're going to love it! You might be tempted to order the pan fried dumplings but don't do it. The meat to skin ratio is off here. It's just too much filling. Focus on the prize. The congee and fried Chinese donuts.

Yelp
My friend RAVED about this place when they first moved to Seattle from NYC. It's hard to get out of the what NYC brings when it comes to restaurants and food, but King Noodle definitely did not disappoint. My friend recommended one of their "clay pot rice" dishes - we ordered takeout/delivery so it did NOT come as a claypot dish but I think dining in would be even better. Then again, when you arrive at 9pm, most things would still be pretty good. I got the chinese sausage and liver rice dish PROS: - HUGE quantity. So much that I had enough for two more meals over the next two days. And I was not eating lightly either. - was very tasty. Liver is an acquired taste though but they seasoned it well and it wasn't overly salty/sauced. CONS: - a bit TOO much rice, could either take out some rice or add more meat. I didn't want to throw out the rice so we just used it to make homemade congee. My friend also got their congee (another thing they are known for): PROS: - perfect texture: not too watery, not too "grainy". - not overcooked: sometimes you can tell when they've overcooked it and it becomes way too thick from all the starch coming out of the grains. - nice balance of ingredients (preserved egg) CONS: - not so much a con, but I'd like some either fried egg noodle bits or chinese cruller (you tiao) bits to add some crunch on top. I would definitely order again. I almost did actually towards the end of my trip! Want to try their noodles on my next visit for sure!

Yilin Z.

Yelp
One of our favorite spots for congee and noodle soup on a rainy days! Lots of options for toppings to choose from (we had chicken, century egg for congee; beef, chicken for fish-broth noodle soup), the store feels clean and welcoming too
google avatar

Timothy L.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in the ID for noodles! I love the options for customizing your own noodle soup (broth, types of noodles, meats, veggies, etc.). My go to here is the QQ noodles with Sichuan spicy broth, beef brisket, and pig intestines. The soup has the right level of spice and the noodles have a nice texture. I also really like their pork and chives dumplings and usually order it pan fried! I've been coming here for such a long time and it has always been very good!

Wang L.

Yelp
Cheapest brunch in Chinatown! The porridge is great. Very authentic Cantonese flavor.

Angeline C.

Yelp
Seattle on a budget? Check out King Noodle for affordable comfort eats. The Congee, around $10, comes in a generous portion - easily shareable with one or two people. Dumplings are decent, not the best. Quick service overall, but note that the rice claypot takes a bit longer.

Yelp
When you are craving for chinese food that serves you in large portions. King Noodle is the place to be. I really like their porridge. It reminds me of my grandma's home cooked porridge back in the days when I was young. Porridge would be the number one thing that I would get here. If, you want other option on the menu, you can choose what kind of broth, noodles, and items you would want on it. I prefer this system because I can choose what I would like without having to pick it out. Their service is like typical chinese restaurant service. They will come and get your order and serve you pretty okayish. But, that's just mean it good chinese food.

Yelp
We were going to try another place but it was packed and we thankfully found this little gem. We didn't wait long. Service was fast. Food was fantastic. We ordered the Chives and Pork Dumplings to start and it was so good. Typically my partner does not like dumplings because it is so doughy but he loved this one and found it very tasty. I ordered Congee with BBQ Pork, Mushrooms and Chicken and he ordered the Wonton Soup. We enjoyed both. Though the place is very small, it was clean, service was wonderful and again, the food was FANTASTIC. We will be back.

Yelp
Excellent and affordable dumplings. Pot stickers was crisp on the bottle, yet soft and moist on top. Just tasty !

Yelp
We ordered Szechuan style beef, congee with beef slice & BBQ pork, noodle soup with brisket & roasted duck. Out of the three things I ordered, I only like the Szechuan style beef. It was packed with cilantro and chili oil/spices (tasted like Lao Gan Ma). The noodles in the noodle soup was overcooked and too soft (it breaks everything I tried to pick it up). The broth was okay, wish it had more flavor. The roasted duck and brisket were in very thin/small, which was not very satisfying or appealing. The congee was not bad but similarly tiny meat pieces for the flavor and nothing special. Saw good reviews and was excited to try, won't return in the future.

Yelp
King Noodle!!! Wow finally a good dim sum and congee place! I've tried about 20 and I have to say King Noodle for me is the King so far! Great congee nice chicken and mushroom pieces with a luxurious rice congee taste. Scallions and ginger add a dash of soy sauce to a bowl of King's and you will be crowned with a gorgeous taste in your mouth. Both the steamed and pan fried dumplings were nice size and amazing!! I will return her to try other congee flavors and what I loved most of all is you could choose your what you want in your congee instead of just seafood or century egg and pork. Good show! Double even quadruple golf clap for King Noodle. I'm full and my belly is happy!!! Thank you!!

Yelp
The namesake doesn't do much for me as not a fan at all of the noodles here. What is 4 Star Worthy however is the Congee and Szechuan Style Beef! With a very strong focus on value + flavor the aforementioned dishes are always ordered on every visit here, and then "try outs" dishes for the rest of the menu. The congee here is flavorful and all the ingredients you can choose (there are many options) have never disappointed. You know what else is great and appreciated? The congee is always HOT! A requirement for congee, so very much appreciated King Noodle. The beef appetizer always has a nice szechuan beef flavor to it. It is not spicy, but it does come with a lil kick that may get your nose a tad runny. This restaurant reminds me of eating in Hong Kong or Taiwan when you want a simple, low cost, delicious meal. Looks like they have remote ordering now on grubhub, and delivery services too.

Yelp
Build your own soup (or other options like congee). So many combinations to choose from. Always hot and tasty! Be aware they close early.

Yelp
Super good congee! Got it with pork and egg. Definitely one of the best in Seattle. Also got the dumplings which were humongous and very good. Could have used more dipping sauce for the size of those dumps though. Brisket noodle soup was delicious, but get wontons we got in it were just ok

Yelp
Located in china town. Reasonably priced. Dine in available. Service wasn't the greatest, but it's china town-- can't expect the premium service. Lol. Food was flavorful and portion was large. Their dumplings were bomb! Must try.

Yelp
King Noodle is a really solid place in Chinatown for some traditional Chinese noodles. Although there are areas for improvement, I had a really good dinner here on a cold Saturday night. Nothing too fancy about this place. Traditional interior that is fairly small. You're super close to other tables and probably will be accidentally bumped by a server once or twice. The focus is of course on the noodles. We ordered the pan fried dumplings, mixed Szechuan style beef noodles, and a custom bowl with tom yum broth, beef brisket and bbq duck. I absolutely loved the Szechuan beef mixed noodles. It comes out dry and has soup on the side, but there's enough flavor that you don't even have to use the broth, which is somewhat plain. Also really enjoyed the dumplings and the custom noodle bowl. Anytime you have the chance to customize your food to your liking, it makes it a bit better. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the toppings though. The beef brisket and bbq duck were low quality. I also strongly recommend to fully mix your noodles. The broth was super bland at first until we found out all the tom yum flavor was at the bottom. A good bowl of noodles should have equal broth flavor throughout the bowl. Service was decent. Appreciated the fast and attentive service here but like I said, expect to get bumped a bit by them if they're busy. This place is also really affordable! Most of their entrees are around $9-$11. Overall, a tasty and affordable spot in Chinatown for authentic Chinese noodles. Whether you like your noodles dry, with broth, or customized to your liking, they have a ton of variety here. they even offer dumplings, congee and rice stone pots!

Yelp
TBH I have been meaning to try this place because I heard such great things about their broth and customizations and the place REALLY lives up to the hype. The place is small so on a cold lunch or dinner day, it'll probably get busy so make sure you check before hand! The staff are super friendly and they will walk you through some of their best add ins to the noodles! The menu is not large, you can choose from congee, noodles, clay pot rice and some appetizers! We got two noodle dishes, a clay pot rice, congee and dumplings! I would SKIP the dumplings next time... they're huge and not expensive but the taste wasn't great and the meat was really red when you bit into the dumpling. I LOVED the customization piece! For your noodles, you get free veggies and 2 choices before paying extra. Their fish fillet (fried) is SOOO GOOD! I also loved the Chinese sausage clay pot rice. They have HUGE portions for a good price. I would definitely come back! Maybe next time I'll try a milk tea...
