Great place to grab a breakfast and coffee. They have really great overnight oats that I really recommend. The coffee is very flavorful and they have all the varieties of milk you could ever want! The inside has a nice garden feel to it and the service was also really great and friendly. Recommend this place!

Fantastic and knowledgeable baristas, great coffee. The owner is enthusiastic about coffee and hospitality and it’s infectious - the rest of the team works from these values as well. Wish I took a picture of the Tomato Vinaigrette from their food menu - so good! Pairs well with an Iced Crimson Berry Tea if you want something refreshing - then grab a Flat White to take away!

Such a cute coffee shop, I love the art and had to buy a totebag. It feels super calm with all the plants and I loved the music they played. My chai latte and lemon poppy cake were delicious. The staff were also very patient with me as it was my first time here. Definitely recommend!

Nice little café. A lot of plants and flowers are setting the mood. Coffee is delicious and fairly priced. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Milk options (soy, almond, coconut, oat) to be paid extra. Big PLUS: if you drink on site, you get a regular coffee cup instead of a paper or plastic cup.

Great little coffee place on w30th - well made coffee, a few good food choices plus pastries. I had an oat latte and the avocado toast with a boiled egg. Can recommend both and will be back!

I always order their cappucino and this time I tried their regular coffee as a first time and I asked if it was fresh or not then the coffee taste was awful and not fresh and told them to change with americano and offer them to pay the difference and cashier spoke with manager he said they can’t change it since already been poured it, they said. I was their lately regular customer but that is not acceptable! They charge for almost $5 for that awful coffee and they don’t care if the customer is satisfied or not! They forced me to pay Americano and no refund at all! Congrats for this rude behavior, since I bring a lot of students from my school, I will mention them everyone I sent them! Very cheap mind to lose costumer for one coffee! They lost another customer!

I am absolutely obsessed with King street coffee! The baristas are always really friendly and give me insightful recommendations for their specialty coffees. The cafe has a wonderful atmosphere and is filled with beautiful plants. Today me and my husband ordered a delicious Cappuccino, and a refreshing Yuzu Ade perfect for the summer. I love coming here all the time!

Great coffee and awesome staff. It was my first time here the other day, their cute sign on the street is what sold me! Very happy I stumbled across this cafe, it’s definitely a gem.

This spot was all abuzz on a Friday afternoon. You could tell there were both social and work conversations happening. I love the use of plants. The cashier was particularly joyful, which immediately put me in a good mood. I got a perfect flat white and a nice cardamom bun for later. I'll definitely be by again, though I doubt I could snag a table!

Afternoon stroll around Penn Station (by our hotel), we veered off course and came upon King's Street Coffee. Never shy away, from afternoon coffee, we walked in to support the small café. The location and NYC still amaze me - the neighborhood, including its shops wedges and blends into MAJOR streets in busy city. The plants and greenery around the main window caught my attention, giving me a reason to sit and watch people for a while. There is a long communal table in the center surrounded by 5 - 7 smaller round table meant for two. Next to the counter, there is a small corner that carries merchandises and sourced batches of coffee. The male barista is super friendly and chatty. We ordered a matcha latte and vanilla latte. It's decent nothing standouts but worth a stop by to support the local shops.

If you're looking for a real cup to drink your coffee out of, this is your place. Service was quick and it feels like you're not in Manhattan with all the plants surrounding the entrance and tables. Close to Penn Station if you're waiting for a train.

I ordered a 12oz coffee with whole milk and thought it was just average. The coffee wasn't particularly strong but it was ready within a few minutes. I'll try their latte next time as that seemed to be the popular option. They have indoor seating but it may be hard to get a table. There were groups of two to three people. Some were working or studying while others were just catching up. Grabbing a table may be a hit or miss depending on the time of day.

Solid coffee spot - the matcha with soy milk was great, the cappuccino was pretty good also (though the matcha was much better). Not super crowded when we went it and we were able to find a spot to sit. Would def go again for the matcha.

Got my free coffee on my last visit (ie 11+ visits) - between Seven Grams and King's Street, I'm sorted for coffee around midtown. I still like to try a few new places once in a while and have mostly been disappointed so far. I tried their financier once and it's one of the best I've had in recent times.

You have to try the out of this world "purple sweet potato bread with walnuts"! The sweet potato gives it all the sweetness it needs and goes perfectly with any of their premium hot coffees!

I came here recently on a weekday morning to grab a coffee. I had intentions of sitting in the cafe and working for a bit, but it was absolutely packed to the brim; no seats open, no seats looked like they were opening anytime soon, so heads up to come early (or maybe late?) if you do want to work here. The inside is pretty though, quite airy and well lit. I got a cortado, and it was overall solid, but a bit sloppy. Too much milk so it started tasting a bit more like a cappuccino. On the fruitier side, so definitely got some sour notes. Can definitely get a decent cup of coffee here. Seems like a very popular work spot, so might be hard to grab a seat.

It was a super cute spot to grab a coffee and catch up with a friend after our lunch date. Matcha latte was yummy . I enjoyed the earth vibes the cafe was giving off with all the plants. I will definitely come back!

Winner! Really really really rich and foamy cappuccino. Even though line starts at door, the wait is short. Probably 10 minutes from lining up to getting your drink. Great spot.

King's Street Coffee is a very cute and low-key coffee spot very close to the Path. The interior is very cute and great for working or chatting with friends. The flat white I had was great, as was my avocado toast. Normally, I find avocado toast to be underwhelming, but I was full after eating this and was very pleased!! I love that they offer eat-in utensils and cups to reduce waste. I will be returning!

Cute cafe and vibes! Love that they have a lot of plants around the shop. They have wifi and outlets, which was nice since I was sitting there to do some work. There's not a lot of space/seating once you get inside though. It felt a little tight when sitting at the tables. Very limited number of tables available so you have to scout for a table. I got the iced matcha latte w/ oat. It tasted pretty standard. It was good, but nothing crazy/unique about it. I did think it was overpriced for the portions given though. I got a 12oz (which is the smallest size available for this drink) and subbed for oat milk, my total came out to $7. It was a small amount for the price and didn't taste that special. I don't think it was worth the $7. Probably won't come back to get this drink.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, the service was excellent and the place itself was very nice and ambient. The cold brew coffee that I had was amazing and the sandwich was very filling. On the other hand, why did a coffee and a sandwich end up being $20? I know it's Manhattan, but seriously? I definitely don't see myself coming back.

Don't get me wrong, the vibe was great but this is not the spot to do work for more than 30 minutes. The chairs are hard and super uncomfortable. Super loud and the door was open so it's also super hot as well but the saddest thing at the end of the day was their coffee. My barista was so nice and loved the service but their iced latte with rose syrup tasted like 99.9% milk.

you know when espresso tastes sour? yeah not a fan of the coffee but the inside of the place is definitely aesthetic so great for an aesthetic cafe day photo workers moved alittle slowly as well wouldn't recommend if you're trying to find good tasting coffee

It was such a cute and quaint coffee shop. I ordered an iced matcha latte and it came out super fast. I also ordered the ham and Swiss croissant and that was the best croissant I probably ever had! I will definitely come back for a quick breakfast before work!

They have great espresso here. They also make their own breads and goodies. They make an amazing avocado toast.

Good and simple coffee stop near the Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden. It wasn't busy when I went, and our service was quick and friendly!

Starting the day after a red-eye from Seattle, may contribute to the coffee happiness I am experiencing. The King's Street coffee shop is spacious, quite packed and very vibrant on an early Feiday morning. The coffee is excellent, we ordered a couple of different coffees and they were were made quickly and precisely. The bales goods (all three) were tasty, fresh and exactly what we wanted with our coffee. Love it and will be back!

I like coming to King Street just because it is a working café, which is a little bit more unique in this part of town. The last time I came, I ordered a Matcha latte, it wasn't the worst one I had ever per se, but it was definitely water down and for the price was it necessarily worth it. The next time I come, I would probably just grab a latte, but when it comes to the general quality of the coffee here, it's just not great. There's not a ton of seating, so you kind of have to scout as you come in, but people come in people go all the time, so if you're a little bit more on the patient side, you might be able to grab a seat and do a little bit of working while you're at the café.

Came by because I wanted something to drink in the neighborhood, and this cafe looked promising. Ordered an iced matcha latte with normal milk. It was watered down. Not the worst matcha latte I've had, but definitely not something I would want here again. Seems like a good place to do work as most of the patrons had their laptops out.

For Midtown, this is certainly a 5 star, given the lack of sit-down cafes that are cozy and have appropriate seating + wifi to do work at (which this place has!!). Service was friendly here and they let me sit for around 90 minutes uninterrupted which I enjoyed. I got a chai latte, which was pretty solid but nothing super memorable. The space has more of a cabin-like feel even though you are in the heart of Midtown, which is nice; coffee-wise, it's solid but given the area it's in, I don't think there are much better places to get some work done.

Best coffee (flat white and latte) I had in New York City on a recent visit (I am a native New Yorker)--reminded me of the quality I would find in Seattle or in coffee capitals abroad--Glasgow, Copenhagen, Helsinki. This is no amateur operation: the barista and the machine mean business! I should have purchased a bag of beans for steaming in the Moka pot at home but I am not capable of replicating the technique which was applied to our selections. King's street coffee is definitely to savor... Don't come for the decor or a bubbly social hour; the drab outside and window of potted plants won't impress. If you are seeking an excellent cup to fuel your day, energize your desk work, accompany your train ride (Penn station and Port Authority are both only a few blocks away) or settle your evening, however, you will not be disappointed.

The coffee here was so tasty!! And the mushroom sandwich was also delicious. Definitely a cute spot for a coffee break! There were definitely more people talking and sitting than doing work or studying, so I'm not sure if it caters as much to that. There were a decent number of tables and outlets though so I'm sure it could be done if needed.

What a great find! Needed a pick me up for the day and they didn't disappoint. The currant and oat scone was moist and baked to perfection. I highly recommend. The latte was well poured and the espresso was perfect along with the sweetness of the whole milk.

Great cafe for working! The vibes are cute with lots of plants and feels super cozy. A decent amount of seating which is mostly 2-person tables but they also have one big table for 8+ people (often shared). Wifi is good and the bathroom is clean and functional. I've gotten the hot matcha and chai lattes before which were both delicious and reasonably priced. They also have some food, from cookies/breads to a few legit brunch dishes. I most recently had their avocado toast, which was more sweet than savory which I'm not used to but I thought all the ingredients/toppings they used went very well together. Also thought the service was good - they accidentally charged me $2 extra for egg on the avo toast even though I asked for no egg, and after refunding me the egg they gave me an extra dessert on the house which was delicious and not too sweet (some matcha bread/cake I forgot the exact name)!

Efficient cozy and delicious. Everything you could want in a coffee shop. Cortado was well made and I added a little bit of rose flavor. Their loaf selection was extensive and we couldn't decide so we got the matcha loaf, lemon poppyseed and banana walnut, all of which were superb. Not a lot of seating but enough and steady turnover.

Such a cute coffee shop! There is free wifi, seats to do work and cute plant decor throughout. The matcha latte tasted like they use good quality matcha. They also have homemade pastries with vegan options as well.

Coffee was ok and food just fine. It took over 15 minutes to get a simple ham & cheese sandwich when it wasn't even busy since it was early in the am. The guy taking orders was very rude when we tried to tell him the kind of coffee we wanted.

Awesome little coffee shop with the best ham and egg sandwiches for breakfast! Super fresh and absolutely delicious. Add a nice cup of cold brew latte and you're ready to tackle the day. The Wi-Fi is reliable and there's plenty of seating inside. Friendly service.

I was staying close by and stopped in for a latte. They were friendly and quick with my order. I also got a Matcha bread and it taste exactly like you think it would. I would get it again it was delicious although if you don't like Matcha, it would be very strong for you. The latte I got was perfection, and I would highly recommend a visit here. the best part about the shop is all the real plants that they have such a Haven in the middle of the city

I decided to have coffee here because it looked welcoming but unfortunately the service was so unwelcoming. Also, I was surprised to learn they charge extra for less ice, which is something I've never encountered before, but I understand businesses have their costs. I ordered an iced caramel latte which was pretty good, but I am unlikely to return because of the bad service.

I was in the neighborhood when I passed by a bright and aromatic coffee shop, and so of course I followed the crowd in. I managed to snag a seat around noon on a Saturday with the room being generally full. Most people were working on their laptops or getting to-go orders. The workers were very friendly and fast. I got the ham and egg croissant (highly recommend!!) - it was very delicious. I also got an iced matcha latte with oat milk, which tasted kind of watered down and bland. Overall, this charming, cozy cafe makes the perfect environment for a pick me up or to study at. I will return and try the other items on their menu :)

Best cappuccino ever - not burned coffee flavor Overnight oats are fabulous! Yummy cup includes chia, fruit, coconut, etc. I'm in NY every 6 weeks on average for work and now walk out of my way to visit this business.

The peanut butter cookie is worth trying. A cool retreat in the summer when other coffee shops are flooded with tourists.

Friendly staffs, good coffee, lunch time has no sit but to go line is short, they have GF pastry available. If you are going to be there to get a large latte with oatmilk, ask for an extra shot. You will thank me. I forgot....

Lovely little coffee shop with Asian flavors! I love just getting a hot Americano with a splash of oat milk here - they do the simple so well, and it has to be one of my favorite americanos in the city. Pastries are a mix of housemade and from Balthazar. I've tried their black sesame banana bread, and it is delicious! I love the texture of the sesame seeds and the slight nutty aftertaste which elevates this slice of banana bread. It's not too sweet either! King's is on a relatively quiet street for its neighborhood, and the ambiance is very calm, with high ceilings, lots of plants, and a gorgeous lighting fixture above the main table. I've come here many times to study or read, and it's the perfect environment to do so. Free wifi & clean bathroom! Unsure about the outlet situation. My only complaint is that sometimes they leave the door open and it can get a little drafty inside.

The price for the coffee is the usual and the coffee itself does taste good. I got an iced caramel latte with oat milk which tasted great! Service was good and I liked that there's a lot of seating with a lot of plants which makes the ambiance relaxing. They play good popular music as well.

Contrary to the description, a great place to work! Lots of seating, wifi, outlets, and a quiet yet ambient atmosphere. It can get busy but I have always been able to find a seat. The coffee is pretty good and even though I was hoping for more black sesame flavor, I still liked my black sesame banana loaf. I haven't tried their meal options yet, but my friend had their avocado toast and wouldn't recommend it.

What a cute coffee shop! Came here with a friend, craving anything caffeinated before we braved the Harry Potter store. You walk in and are immediately greeted by plants! Honestly, livened up the seating area. We placed our order with a very helpful barista: my friend ordered a mocha, I ordered an oat milk latte and a banana sesame walnut slice. The oatmilk latte was wonderful. The espresso was smooth and despite not being traditional milk, the latte was still luxurious and creamy! the banana walnut slice was not too sweet and a bit complex with the sesame seeds. My friend enjoyed her mocha as well. Overall, would definitely come back for a quick latte on the go!
