I’ve been gluten free for sometime now and I have never had such amazing delicious food!! The croissant tasted like the (glutinous) ones I remember! I was ecstatic to see all of the choices!! My hubby isn’t GF, but he ate there too and said it was really tasty! This is a real GEM!!

Rare hidden gem! Found this Gluten Free bakery on Google that was "Top Rated" It's absolutely true! Upon entering we were greeted by super hospitable staff. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Very tranquil. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. They have lots of incredibly yummy food options on their menu up on the wall. There are savory options such as sandwiches, and paninis. All their ingredients are fresh and healthy. As for sweets, they have two large refrigerated glass display cases. Unfortunately, many items were sold out by the time we arrived 40 min before they closed. Luckily, there were lots of remaining delicious options to choose from. They also have a large drink selection. Including different varieties of tea and coffee. Hot and cold. We ordered the Turkey Pesto and Turmeric Chicken paninis. Both were very flavorful. Portions are good. Prices are reasonable considering the quality. We also got the Strawberry cheesecake. It was good but the texture was a bit grainy. Overall, it's a great cafe that I'm sure to visit again. Strongly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem. This is a gluten free bakery and they also sell sandwiches. We ordered turkey avocado panini, original melt and green apple tart. Oh my god. Their bread is so good. Usually panini bread is too hard/ burnt but their panini has good texture and flavor. The original melt is very tasty too. The green apple tart not so sour/ sweet. The flavor is balanced. Will definitely come back soon.

Very expensive. Tuna sandwich was $16. Didn’t come with any sides like chips , just one pickle the size of a toddler’s pinky. Had to ration bites to prolong the experience. The food was good , but was overpriced. The sandwich plus the iced latte was $30 after sales tax and tip tax. On top of that . Please explain the added .95 cents for oat or almond milk. Oat milk costs the same as regular. So I’m confused by the up charge. Will not be returning anytime soon or ever.

We like it that it’s not overly sweet. For coffee, we ordered a large mocha, it’s on the smaller side, but it’s wonderful and also not overly sweet. The service was prompt and friendly. Environment was clean and relaxing. Outdoor seating is a plus, especially for dog-owners.

3rd different whole cake bought from this place. Got the whole chocolate cake this time. There is very thin breading layer and the rest is mostly chocolate whip and icing. The sliced cake picture on website can be a bit deceiving due to the reflection of the bottom layer. Also cake box is very thin so be careful to hold the bottom as it’s not supported. Overall it was easy to place order through the phone and customer service was nice.

First time I came after 3-4 months. Egg Melt used to be $10.85 and is $12.75 now for same size. I've been coming here since 2021 when the same melt was $8.25. All other items and drinks has gone up a lot in last 12months - it's same as Urth Cafe now when this place used to be affordable.

I really love this place. My girlfriend discovered this place on Yelp and we've been sort of regulars at this place since 2023. Even though not hasn't been that long, but we immediately loved this place. For one it is a gluten free bakery shop since my gf is allergic to gluten. Second, it's freaking delicious, and third, we both love the staffs and their amazing energy! And in all honesty, even if you're allergic to gluten, this place is a must visit cuz it is too good to avoid! I feel bad for only know one staff's name, but I will making my ways around and remember everyone's name. If Ichi happen to see this review, I look forward to our 日本語会話！

Finding parking is fairly easy to find. In front of the shop, there are a couple of tables to sit and enjoy the weather and eat the delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Kirari West Bake Shop is a gluten free bakery with lots of vegan options. Once you enter, you are warmly greeted at the counter. We ordered the vegan brownie with raspberry, vegan strawberry cheesecake, and manhattan. Next time, we will get the delicious vegan brownie with raspberry, breakfast sandwich, and the loaf.

Love this bakery! They have a good selection of baked goods and they're all really tasty! Majority of their items you can't even tell they're gluten free!

Kirari West Bakeshop is such a cute little bakery with delicious high quality baked goods. I got the matcha pear tart because it looked amazing and it even tasted amazing too! I also got an iced half matcha latte half sweet and it was really good as well! Staff was friendly and helpful if you have any questions. I'm want to try some of their more savory baked goods next time.

Love this bakery and cafe! We've been coming here for a few years now. The vegan chocolate brownie is my favorite. It's spongy and chocolatey enough without being densely decadent. The touch of raspberry is lovely- with a dark coffee, this is a perfect treat! They also sell a vegan rye loaf which I've used to make goat cheese grilled sandos and French toast. It works for both. They have lots of yummy treats but only a few that are also dairy free (cookies and a cheesecake). The staff are always really friendly and the place is kept very clean. There's a grace and classiness to this spot that is missing in many other cafes, which I really appreciate. We're so glad this place exists and hope that they stay!

I'm not gluten free, but I come here anyway because the coffee and pastries are so delicious. My favorites are the almond brioche, matcha pear tart and custard puff. I really like their matcha and espresso drinks too. Everything tastes like it's made of high quality ingredients.

Just a question over the service today (July 5) everyone at the front counter seemed really miserable. Ok it's not my business to question why (I did leave a tip) but I don't think this type of body language sends out a good message to potential new or existing customers. So my message to the people (family) who work here is please cheer up and show you love your business!!

So happy Kirari West Exist...Now that I need to eat a Gluten Free Diet, I find it a challenge because I ALSO got the "blessing" of nut allergies, too! Being able to treat myself to tasty sandwiches and baked goods without worry makes me happy.

The cakes are so good, as well as their chai tea latte and wedding cookies. Can't believe it was all gluten free. A little pricey but worth it!

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed Kirari yet! Gluten free bakery ftw. I get the veggie bfast sandwich pretty often but I also LOVE the ratatouille quiche, enough to buy whole ones when I have guests over for breakfast haha. They have so many different pastries - muffins, cookies, brioche, tarts - to choose from. There's indoor and outdoor seating if you want to enjoy a matcha latte or chai latte (my drinks of choice). Sometimes there's a long line (which is good!) and the workers are very kind and patient and I don't find myself waiting too long to receive my order.

How have I never heard of this GEM before this week? My husband and I both got french toast and we got a slice of cheesecake and a chocolate brioche to-go. Everything was so delicious and the texture was fantastic. Even my non-gluten free husband was impressed.

I've been meaning to try this place for a long time now and *finally* got to today -- and it was amazing! I tried the fruit tart and the chocolate brioche. Both were delicious and didn't taste gluten free at all. The crust on the tart was surprisingly crisp, and neither of the treats were too sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more things!

9/14/23 If you're gonna have the almond brioche, get it warmed-ahhh yes!! Thanks to Jeff, who checked in close to 30 times at this place, I found the allure to this shop. Coming from the RB pier, hot & needing some cooling off-got the 16 hr cold brew, the almond brioche & chocolate raspberry vegan brownie. The cold brew hit the spot (w/ oat milk) but it's not as smooth as I had expected. The almond brioche was pretty good warned but I would've wanted the outer layer crisped a bit, personal preference, but it is delicious. It has the perfect sweetness. Surprisingly, the vegan brownie, I liked better. It was moist with a hint of raspberry, almost like a flourless cake texture-which I like. Staff are efficient & friendly. The ambiance is cool, decent size. It has two tables indoors for dining & a few more outdoor seating with umbrellas to shield customers from the blazing sun/heat. Overall a delightful & quick pit stop in RB-the glass case looked enticing with today's bakery offerings. Additionally, they also offer small bites like sandwiches & such. Next time, maybe a hot beverage! Oh and btw, the pastries are gluten free

Visited this bakery because I am trying to transition to gluten free for health reasons! I didn't have two high of expectations because the sandwiches have basic ingredients. The turkey, avocado, and pesto sandwich was surprisingly so yummy!!!! I think what blew me away was the bread! I couldn't believe how delicious it was being gluten free. I ordered a full loaf of bread to take home! It was very pricey ($20 for a loaf of bread). But I thought it was delicious! Can't wait to go back

honestly just stumbled across kirari west bake shop as we were in the area and wanted some good pastry and coffee and WOW am I glad we found this spot! PARKING: -ample. FREE. parking. need I say more?! FOOD: -custard: wasn't too sweet but I loooveee that about baked goods so it was a bonus for me! For my sister, who does have a sweeter tooth, she wanted slightly more sweet. So more preference! -almond brioche: wow we got this FRESH out of the oven and they warned us that it was hot/warm, but it was SOOO good. the inside was so moist and the outside was so perfectly crisp in a delicious way, not a "what the- why is it hard and bricklike" way. And AGAIN, it wasn't overly sweet which almond stuff tends to be so me and my mom gobbled this brioche up! Would have gotten more if we weren't so full from lunch. DRINKS: -iced green matcha latte: they let me know in advance that it's 4 pumps of sweetener and can be quite sweet so I asked for 3 pumps, and it actually wasn't too sweet! It was perfect for me to be honest, but I think 4 pumps would have been a little treat for me too. It was rich and I got it with almond milk and loved it SERVICE: -everyone was so kind and informative and everything came out so fast too! Really added to the experience- loved it! OVERALL: visit this spot!!! it was really delicious, fresh, cute sitting spots inside and out, friendly and informative staff, and again- AMPLE FREE PARKING. YES we will come back whenever we're in redondo!

Drove past this spot too many times before we finally learned about it. So glad we stopped by to give it a try. Delicious! We tried the Manhattan and the Bacon Chipotle sandwiches. Of the two my fav was the bacon chipotle! That sauce! Service and education from Ichi was exceptional. Oh and I had to buy a slice of strawberry shortcake for later in the day. The texture was light and fluffy. Just the right amount of sweetness. We'll be back every chance we get as I'd like to try their paninis and other sandwiches but I'll be hard pressed to skip that bacon chipotle! Since we were at the shopping center we stopped into their sister location - Confections by Kiari West. Tiny spot where we picked up a strawberry donut (I have no willpower). Anthony graciously spent time with us telling us about the history of both Kiari locations and the philanthropic work done by their founder Hiro. We'll be back to both spots again and again. Count us as "regulars" from now on.

I made a pre-ordered for a bulk order well in advance. On the day of pick up my order was not ready and they were closing in 30 minutes. I explained how the oversight was unacceptable. Fortunately they were able to get my order complete in a reasonable time, but it was major drop the ball moment which is why I'm leaving 3 stars

If you are gluten free, this place is a must. Almond brioche sample had my taste buds salivating as I made my selection. This cinnamon roll is delectable! I haven't had one since going gluten free over 12 years ago. I bought a few other items to have later and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Staff is very friendly and the place itself is cute!

I decided to give this place a try since I was in the area and in the mood for a mid day caffeine boost. I ordered an iced americano and iced matcha latte. The staff were very kind and even gave some recommendations since it was our first time. Overall, the drinks were good, and reasonably priced. I noticed that they also gave out free samples of their baked goods. I tried the muffins and it was really moist and delicious. I wish I knew what kind of muffins they were. I would definitely come back again to try their baked goods. There's a couple of tables in door and outdoor. I feel like it would be a good cafe to study since it's relatively quiet and there's lots of windows with natural lighting.

Been wanting to try this place for so long and I am so glad I did!! It's adorable and the quality of their baked goods is out of this world. Came here on a weekday afternoon and it was still relatively busy. I didn't have to wait in line, but there were people eating outside and a couple people who got in line after me. There were fresh samples on the counter and I got to try the chocolate brioche and black sesame muffin. They were amazing! The brioche was crunchy yet soft on the inside. Unfortunately they had sold out of the chocolate brioches otherwise I definitely would have gotten a full one! I opted for the custard puff which was as light and airy as a cloud. Filled with the most delightful cream which was well balanced and not too sweet. It was absolutely perfect! Looking around the shop they sold gluten free bread flour and some loaves of bread. The bread was pretty pricy at around $15 per loaf. I also got a matcha latte which was lacking in the matcha department and mostly tasted like milk, so I would say come here for the baked goods! The service was exceptional. The staff greeted me when I walked in and offered samples and gave me recommendations. Such a cute shop, I definitely recommend!

Love this bakery so so so much!!! They have so much yummy looking cakes, pastries, and sandwiches. I tried their breakfast sandwich and a matcha latte, both were so good. Especially, I was really impressed by how tasty their bun was, it was so good even eating without any meat and egg. Matcha latte was yum and flavorful. Can't wait to visit here again when I'm in this area.

I have Celiac, and that makes life really hard when it comes to eating out. Consuming gluten can make me more susceptible to certain types of bowel cancer, so I cannot mess around with even the smallest amount. Even places that offer GF options put me at risk for cross-contamination. Not only is everything gluten-free here, it's amazing. The almond brioche bread is reason enough to go all on its own. It is tasty, moist, and the texture isn't either sandy or rock hard like many other GF foods. I would have eaten and enjoyed this before my diagnosis, and I intend to eat many, many more pieces in the near future. The sandwiches are amazing and very pretty. I got the turmeric chicken, which, if one likes the flavors of Indian food, one will LOVE this sandwich. It is full of flavor, and again- the GF bread is very good. My friend got the tuna with avocado, and she said the tuna was very mild and tasty. Highly recommended, even for non-Celiacs. It's possible for GF food to be amazing, and this place is proof of that.

Came to visit since I found out that I had a GF bakery near me so I came on a Sunday afternoon to check them out. I was plead surprised by their selection in desserts. I hadn't had any sweets like those in a while so I picked up the lot and was so happy I did. They were so enjoyable. I will be coming back again!

This place is where magic happens! I can't believe I'm given this many excellent gluten-free choices - delicious fresh bread, bakery, sandwiches. I would eat here every single day if I could. One of the common challenges with gluten-free bakery items is that they are tougher/drier. But here, they've managed to perfect the dough in a way that no one can even tell it's gf and non-gf folks are equally excited to have their desserts. Kudos! And for LA/South Bay, and all the special ingredients they must have to use, the pricing is reasonable too.

Stopped by for a quick beverage and snack. Ordered an iced chai which was lovely as well as their gluten free garlic crutons and chocolate chip cookies. The croutons were perfect on my homemade salad for dinner. The cookies were okay, very hard. However they had great service and the pastries in the window looked beautiful so I'll have to take another visit to try!

This is a cute little Japanese bakery/cafe in a strip mall. They have pastries, drinks, and sandwiches and salads. Pear Matcha pie was yummy sweet! It had shiny clear glaze top that kept the pear color still looking beautiful. It had nice pear scent. Good texture pie like frangipane pear tart with Matcha. Custard puff was not too sweet! I love this one. It was soft, moist and a Little bit fluffy! Pretty light. Banana Nutella Brioche was delicious! Very banana taste and scent! It has good amount of Nutella. Not super sweet! Brioche was dense! Matcha on the Rock was authentic! I asked for half sugar (2 plumps). It was perfect! They used sugar cane Employees was friendly & helpful! They can explain well about their pastry! There is parking lot!

Very very below average. The avocado on the toast looked like it was squeezed out of a bag, so weird and unappetizing. The chai comes from a syrup mix, and the muffins taste like gas station food. Gross

My fiance has had to remove gluten from his diet, so we've been on the hunt for gluten-intolerant friendly places. Was so excited to happen upon Kirari! Came on Saturday afternoon for lunch. The staff was so helpful with suggestions. We ended up ordering the turkey pesto panini, the turkey avocado panini, a blueberry scone to share, and an iced chai latte. The sandwiches were fresh, delicious, and filling! Will definitely be coming back.

What a cute cafe and bake shop! I've been meaning to check this place out and finally got around to it. I loved my matcha latte and my breakfast sandwich. The service was very friendly. The best thing is that they are a great option if you have allergy sensitivities (gluten, etc). But even if you don't, you'll still enjoy this place!

My new favorite bakery and cafe! I've been passing by Kirari on my way to work, and I recently had the chance to try it out a few times. There's a wide variety of Japanese teas, which I absolutely love. It's so difficult to find places with good genmaicha and hojicha, if they even serve it. For food options, there's a lot of savory and sweet breads, along with cake. I highly recommend the ham and cheese bun, dark passion cake, and the blue moon cheesecake.

Delicious coffee and gorgeous French-styled pastries. This Japanese-owned bakery has a clean and polished feel to it. The pastries are also gluten-free which is a nice bonus. I only wish they'd do keto pastries as well while they're going this route. The service is the weak link. People are friendly enough but I've had to repeat instructions and remind the counter about food orders.

I went to buy cookies as a treat for my school teachers. They had a wonderful variety, including vegan cookies and seasonal offerings for Easter, which I thought was really great. We also enjoyed some coffee together, and it was delicious too. Additionally, there was a sister store within the same mall, and their product lineup was very appealing as well.

Had to find gluten free desserts and happened to find this place. The desserts were so good. The cheesecake is deliciously light and flavorful. The tarts were also delicious. We came back the following week and tried their sandwiches. Everything is gluten free but is tasty. We had the turmeric chicken salad sandwich, the tuna melt, and the chipotle ham sandwich. All of it was delicious. I had the chai latte and it was delicious and had the right amount of spice. This is going to be our go to place for desserts. Can't go wrong. Service was also very attentive and great everyone we went. Highly recommend!

If you eat food, you will love eating here. I can't express how amazing this place is. I'm gluten free and have been, albeit against my will, for almost 10 years. My family isn't always thrilled with the lack of options I have to choose from but my celiac disease is sensitive. I was invited here from Anaheim to meet with a friend. It was a long drive but I will be making it regularly to eat here. The prices are reasonable, the crowds are minimal, the food is amazing, the staff are friendly, and the area is safe. It's very grab and go style and can't seat a ton but grab your food and take it to a park, your work, or enjoy in the car if you don't want to eat in the small cafe style seating. It is hands down the best food I've had in years. I will be back time and time again, and it was highly praised by gluten eating patrons.

What a find: a dedicated gluten free bakery! We were traveling from out of town and located Kirari West using Google. We are also dairy free so we ordered the vegan raspberry brownies. But we also sampled the almond brioche (to die for - tastes French for sure) and a pumpkin cranberry muffin. My youngest son who doesn't have dietary restrictions had their strawberry cheesecake and thought it was terrific! We had tea lattes with almond milk and they were great too. We bought a package of vegan chocolate chip cookies to go and they were scrumptious as well. We will be back!

The best Gluten Free shop I have ever been to. Their Cheesy Bun is mouth watering, as well as their Chocolate chip muffin. The service is top tier with only nice workers. The ambiance is super cozy and welcoming. Overall, this place is amazing, and I recommend

We stopped by on our way to LAX. It was really really good. Everything tasted fresh, light and the decor was so cute. The staff are so friendly and nice. It's refreshing to have friendly, genuine service. It's very rare these days. You can tell they really care about their business. The shop was also very clean. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, blueberry cheesecake, almond croissant (brioche?), cinnamon bun and French toast. Everything was delicious, you can't even tell it's gluten free. The cheesecake was probably the best I've ever had. Yes they are expensive but I didn't mind since they were so good and the service was so nice. Will be coming back when we're in the area again soon.

Amazing gluten-free food and sweets, so good you would never know they were gluten-free. What a fantastic find this place was! My wife can't have gluten, so we're always looking for good dining options, ideally where we can both enjoy the food. This is exactly that kind of place, and on our recent visit to the area we got food here every single day. Amazing! The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. The salads are fresh and flavorful. The lunch sandwiches are great. And the sweets are to die for! The service here was also excellent. Whether or not you have dietary limitations, this is a great place for breakfast or lunch. And if you are sensitive to gluten or have celiac disease, this place is a dream come true!

Their waffle sandwiches are aaahhhmaazing. I'm not a fan of the donuts but I LOVE their cookies. Make sure to try their matcha with strawberry (weird but yummy!) or their brown sugar tea latte (I think it was called) Omgosh. So good. Staff is always friendly! Part of me didn't want to review and leave this gem to myself haha but the world should know how good it is. Favorite cookies here: birthday cake and chocolate chip!

I was looking for a cafe to do some work in the area while my car was getting serviced, and this was highly rated on Google maps/yelp. I primarily chose this place as I searched that the Yelp reviews mentioned there was wifi. Unfortunately, there is no more free wifi. Seating was a bit limited (3 mini tables and long table seating indoors, as well as 3ish outdoor tables) but I was still able to get a seat Saturday at noon. Foodwise, I'm a bit reluctant to try gluten free goods, but the item I got was pretty good. I had the matcha pear and butterscotch muffin, and that was very flavorful. The matcha really came out, and wasn't insanely sweet, as expected from. Japanese bakery! I got drip coffee which wasn't anything special. Price wise, it was very reasonable. Nowadays, a coffee and pastry costs $11-12 after tips so I was surprised that the total was a couple bucks under. Overall: Food - 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5

My friend found this bakery on Yelp and we decided to try them out while we were in the area, and oh. my. goodness. I wish I lived closer to Redondo Beach because this bakery has some of the most delicious baked goods I've ever had - and they're all gluten-free?! We got in around 11am on a Wednesday and they were already out of a lot of their goodies. We ordered some iced coffee, a matcha muffin, a ham quiche, and a bacon & egg breakfast sandwich. I saw on Yelp that their custard puffs are really popular but they were already sold out by the time we came in. The breakfast sandwich was made to order and came with a cornichon, which I love. The sandwich was soooo delicious with crispy bacon, the fluffiest bun, and a sauce with a nice kick! The quiche was also good and I'm not a quiche girl so that says a lot. The matcha muffin was also super soft, moist, and not too sweet. Everything was so good and they deserve every 5-star review. If I'm ever in the area, this is a place I'm swinging by again for sure!

I was happy to find this cute gluten free cafe. I was recommended to have an almond pastry which was really good. I also tried a poppyseed muffin and matcha latte for the road. I will definitely go back when I visit the area.

Kirari West Bake Shop is a simple, unassuming establishment.  It's not much to look at from the outside, so you'd more likely than not drive straight past it if you weren't specifically looking for it.  That said, this place is unquestionably worth looking for! Tip: This bake shop is completely gluten free I have no problems digesting gluten, but my friend does so he hunted this place down to satisfy some cravings. There's nothing I've tried in multiple visits that isn't excellent, so it's pretty hard to go wrong with whatever you try.  Last time I was here, I had their avocado toast, and it was nothing short of amazing! Highly recommended :-)

I've passed by Kirari West millions of times on my way to work, but it wasn't until just recently I finally went to see what it was all about. Kirari West is a Japanese import that offers teas, tea lattes, pastries, and breakfast food-- ALL gluten-free. The store was hopping at 10:30AM on a Saturday, but there were still tables and chairs available to sit and enjoy your food. I opted for a matcha latte with the vegetarian egg melt and Blue Moon cheesecake. Everything was delicious: the Blue Moon cheesecake was light and tangy, with a rich blueberry compote inside (although I wish there was more of the compote!). Matcha latte was piping hot and earthy-- I could taste the quality of the matcha itself, and it was deeply satisfying on a slightly-cool summer morning. ...but the star of the show was the Veggie egg melt: two ingredients which really stood out were 1) the gluten-free bread, which I had no idea was gluten-free at first: soft and toasty in aroma, it really surprised me just how good it was. I could've just eaten the bread by itself! 2) tomato-- I don't really like tomatoes, but wow, it was meaty and sweet. Overall, a very-good, well-made egg sandwich. Prices are affordable at Kirari West, and it's the perfect spot to grab breakfast before heading to the beach afterwards. Check this place out!
