"Located two minutes from Tufnell Park station, Kkini is one NW5’s go-to Great Little Places. There isn’t a tonne of room to manoeuvre in this moody, Dragon’s Den-industrial, KBBQ spot, and its 10-or-so tables (each with their own grill) are more often than not dominated by families doing 6pm post-homework dining or 30-something grilling enthusiasts later on. Spicy pork belly and LA galbi are a must here. The former is caramelised on its fatty edges and the latter is an always tender and umami-filled mouthful. The menu is full of Korean classics, with standouts being generous and crispy seafood pancakes and a hearty, spicy galbitang full of soft beef short rib that’ll thaw the iciest of Hampstead Heath walks. photo credit: Kkini photo credit: Kkini photo credit: Kkini" - Jake Missing

"Kkini specializes in galbijjim served in big stone bowls. It has become a massive hit with Koreans, featuring a unique take on the dish with shorter whole rib pieces. The stone cookware serves a purpose, turning the soup into a thick, pourable sauce. The banchan is minimal but effective." - Matthew Kang

Lunch specials are great. Hot soup straight out the kitchen! Good way to get over a hang over it to just eat something not so heavy unless you want to, which they can also accommodate. Simple menu. Good place to go.

an awesome restaurant. nice service. roomy hall. clean tables and utensiles. The beef soup is 16 dollars but is very worth it. we also had a yookgaejang and it was very tasty as well. The soups could be a little salty to some but overall they possess the taste of Korean braised soups. I give 5 stars overall and highly recommend here for Koreans and others.

Come here so many times and the food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly. Last night we ordered the bibimbap, bbq beef, and bone soup and it all came out sizzling and delicious. The food is so fresh and spices so flavorful. A comfortable neighborhood place with reasonable prices for the quality of the food provided.

If I could leave no stars I would. I have never in my life walked out of a restaurant after I got my food. I ordered the kimchi pancake. I love kimchi pancakes and this place was close to home so I thought this was going to be a hit. The first piece I put on my plate had a hair in it, which grossed me out, but then when I looked at the rest of the kimchi pancake I saw about four more hairs. They weren't long head hairs, they were short. I instantly lost my appetite, informed the staff and left. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning. I just lost my appetite writing this review. YUCK!

Delish bibimbap and a Hangover Soup! No hot pepper (allergy issue) Great for after soaking in Korean spa!
