"Zineb ("Zizi") Hattab proposes something out of the ordinary in her charming pub. Not only is the modern-creative food entirely vegan, but it also draws on interesting Moroccan and Mexican influences. The chef – the daughter of Moroccan immigrants – was born in Spain and grew up in Costa Brava. Originally an engineer, she followed her passion for cooking, gaining work experience with Andreas Caminada in Switzerland and in Mexican restaurant Cosme in New York, to name but two. Choose five to six courses for the surprise menu served in the evening. Great importance is attached to regionality and sustainability, and that also applies to the wine." - Michelin Inspector
"Kle (“plant” in German) was Zizi Hattab’s first venture into the restaurant world, and it was so successful when it opened in early 2020 (in spite of the pandemic). She launched her second project, Dar, not long after. The menu centers on plant-based dishes, as well as an extensive spirits list. Opt for one of the surprise coursed menus, which range from three to five dishes. If you’re lucky, you might get the signature fried mushrooms." - N.A. Mansour
"Also particularly noteworthy is the first purely vegan restaurant with a MICHELIN Star in Switzerland: the KLE restaurant in Zurich (ZH) with chef Zineb Hattab." - Le Guide MICHELIN
"There are 15 new Bib Gourmands this year, but for the first time in Switzerland, that list includes a vegan option with the addition of KLE in Zurich." - Monica Burton
"A reflection of the culinary diversity of this selection, vegan cuisine makes its debut in this year's edition with a Bib Gourmand awarded to the restaurant KLE in Zürich." - Le Guide MICHELIN
