Kline

"The brutalist concrete interior of the hip Kline restaurant is perfectly matched to the casual dining vibe. Unusual, unpretentious recipes and a few vegetarian options. Plancha-seared gherkin is paired with cream of smoked yoghurt, mustard seeds, dill, chunks of goat’s cheese and curry oil. “Locally sourced and globally inspired” (their own words) is the ethos of this zero-waste, sustainable establishment firmly in the zeitgeist." - Michelin Inspector

We tried several different dishes and none of them were disappointing. They play with different flavours to make fun recipes. None of the dishes were necessarily mind blowing but we enjoyed all of them. The strawberries were in season and absolutely delicious. Very expensive for what it is, but this is unfortunately the new trend in Brussels at the moment. If it was slightly cheaper I would go back here often. The atmosphere is really nice and the space is well decorated. The sitting could be more comfortable.

Best experience that I had in a restaurant in a while, everything was on point and the night overall was great. The concept of minimalism in food is great and shows that a dish doesnt need many ingredients and complex composition to still be fun and flavorful. All dished were also a pleasure for the eyes. On top of that, great brutalist design, kind staff and reasonable prices. Really recommended.

Very unusual place, interesting menu and food combinations. To my taste some flavours were not too well balanced, unfortunately. I wouldn’t say I’d repeat it soon but I definitely do not regret this experience. Service was very welcoming, and everyone was very nice. The only issue we had (and i see in the previous reviews we are not alone in this) - we were charged 6€ for water which we didn’t order, so maybe check your bill before paying.

Nice place, unusual very modern and some sort of minimalistic style. I really liked the Kambucha drink. The quality of the found was good, but in my opinion I found it overpriced for what it was (we were 3 people). Friendly and kind service.

The food was good but portions were small for their price. Have to order 3 dishes per person to have enough. For example there is a veggie dish that's literally 4 cherry tomatoes and it's almost 20 euros

Great food, and enjoyable setting (we sat in the window and loved watching the kitchen in action). A lot of the food was delicious and very interesting, highlight was the seafood. Lovely for a celebration! Felt the service was a little confused/impersonal but it was a busy night and they were all working hard.

Located in the heart of Brussels in a quiet spot, this is a great place for a night out with friends, colleagues, or your partner. All the dishes, without exception, are delicious and tasty. The service is slightly slow (the sharing plates arrive one by one), but the ambiance is pleasant and welcoming, with a lovely terrace to enjoy on sunny days. Highly recommend this place!

Very seasonal / fresh products and local drinks. All products were very good. The slow cooked bacon was really amazing. Quite expensive though given they recommend to take 3 dishes pp which gets to 70 euros pp.
