The Best Korean Restaurants and Food Carts in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"The opening of the Cartside pod food cart Ko Sisters was exciting news for those seeking some of South Korea’s famous street foods, like its crispy half-fried-mozzarella-stick, half-corn dogs, or the skewers of glossy gochujang-glazed rice cakes, seaweed rolls, and sausage. For dessert, it’s hard to go wrong with the cinnamon hotteok, chewy sweet pancakes." - Rebecca Roland

18 Knockout Spots for Affordable Dining in Portland

"This Cartside food cart offers a wide range of Korean street food snacks, which make for fun, filling, inexpensive meals. Take, for example, the cart’s Korean corn dogs, a split of fish cake and mozzarella cheese fried and finished with sugar, ketchup, and mustard; you won’t spend more than $6.50 on them. An order of cheesy tteokbokki, cylindrical rice cakes tossed in a spicy sauce, are $11. And bulgogi burritos — beef bulgogi, kimchi fried rice , noodle japchae, veggies, and spicy mayo wrapped in a tortilla — are under $15." - Katrina Yentch, Eater Staff

Where to Find the Cheesiest Dishes in Portland and Beyond | Eater Portland

"This trendy Korean street food — a crispy corn dog filled with both sausage and melty mozzarella — is ubiquitous on the streets of Seoul, and they’re becoming increasingly popular in the United States; unfortunately, Portland’s been a little behind on this front. Luckily, this North Williams food cart slings plenty of panko-encrusted, melty-mozzarella-filled hot dogs on a stick, dressed and ready to be devoured on a walk through North Portland." - Zoe Baillargeon

Where to Find Korean Fried Chicken in Portland and Beyond | Eater Portland

"Located inside the new Cartside food cart pod, Ko Sisters offers a mix of Korean comfort and street food. While there are many items folks should try, the fried chicken here is ridiculously crispy and the generous portions could probably feed a family. The chicken comes with a side of rice and can be ordered mild, spicy, or half and half. Ko Sisters can be ordered as delivery or takeout and has outdoor seating provided by the pod." - Seiji Nanbu

12 New Portland Restaurants and Food Carts to Know - Eater Portland

"This Korean food cart has plenty of standards, like bibimbap, bulgogi, and Korean fried chicken; however, perhaps most excitingly, Ko Sisters dives into street food skewers that are harder to find at Portland’s Korean restaurants, like fish cakes and Korean corn dogs." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Google
(4.5/5) this food trucks exudes warmth from the service to the food. The people running things were so kind and helped me choose what to try. Got the half and half wings and they were not only large but the perfect amount of crispness to juiciness. The fries were just alright honestly but the sauce from the wings was the key. Definitely worth a visit

jessie b.

Google
The food is SO good but I just received my grubhub order and the burrito was half unfolded in the container and had maybe a quarter of the filling it usually has. The tortilla was also cold, hard and stale. I stfg they just sent me someone's leftovers like what is this????? I had to get a refund from GH

Sage C

Google
Passive aggressive facial expression and lack of communication skills from the cashier should have turned me away when ordering but I stuck with it. Asked for and received a refund when my chicken burrito turned out to be a white rice burrito. Was told “there’s chicken in it” when I pointed out the lack of chicken. Look at what’s on their visual menu and then look at what they served here and make your own decision on whether you want to take a chance like I did.

Google
Hands down one of the best food trucks I’ve been to! The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor, and the fries were hot, fresh, and perfectly salted. But what really stood out was the staff — they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. The service was fast, and the whole experience was just enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend this place if you want great food and even better vibes!

Robert “Tyler” Miklos

Google
The customer service was truly exceptional. The staff members were very pleasant and appeared genuinely happy to be there. I ordered the sweet and savory combo with extra meat and the Seattle egg rolls. While the extra meat arrived in a separate container and was served plain, which was a bit disappointing, the salad was quite delicious, although the portion size was rather small. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the rice was well-prepared. Although the egg rolls were not to my personal taste, I would certainly be willing to try the restaurant again, though I would likely forgo the extra portion of meat next time.

Google
People are amazing and they make great fried chicken I will say they recently changed their menu to be less spicy! I understand they're catering to their clientele and their chicken used to be a challenge to eat. So tasty and spicy. Now its barely spicy. Still top notch chicken but I wish people could handle the spice so they didn't have to change. Make me suffer with your delicious chicken!

Nikki Great

Google
Tasted awful. Hot dog was skinny dried and rubbery. Cheese was dried out. Bread was soft inside instead of crispy. This was not like the many other Korean Corn dogs I've got from other places. Very disappointing.

Cephas Peskova

Google
Wow! Finally a place that has “CRISPY” wings! I have been searching ALL over Portland for a place, specifically a small business owned food cart that takes pride in the food they make. Despite many other delectable and delicious items on their menu, I personally got the “Original” recipe wings and they were perfect! I’ve been disappointed by soo many places claiming to have crispy fried chicken wings, but these scored 10’s across the board for perfectly seasoned crispy crusted wings and succulent and juicy chicken meat inside. The perfect flavor mix! I can’t vouch for the sauced up options. The don’t like my wings soggy from the sauce they’re tossed in. Give this place a try! It’s a bucket list food cart in my opinion. Lots of other options in the same pod of carts as well!

Yelp
Ordered 2 Duo bowls (spicy pork and beef bulgogi with white rice, Mac salad, gyoza and tempura seaweed rice), a order of Seattle egg rolls and a Korean corn dog. Despite getting home and the food not being hot or fresh anymore it was still amazing, solid 10/10. The beef wasn't too chewy or fatty and the pork was the same with a hint of spice. The egg rolls were nice and packed a lot of flavor and the ingredients seemed overall freshly prepped. Definitely recommend this place if you're near the area and want some Korean food or corn dogs. Only complaint is there's not an abundance of parking and the prices are bit higher one plate being $17 per. Overall 10/10

Yelp
I love supporting food carts and this one is a gem. The customer service was nice and friendly, the food was tasty, and the menu offered many Korean stables and a few other items not typically seen elsewhere. The so-duk-kim had a nice flavor of sweet, spicy, and savory. The different textures from each component made it very enjoyable to eat. The corn dog was cooked perfectly - nicely battered and crisp. I have not had a hotteok in a while and they were able to satisfy my craving!
google avatar

Duy N.

Yelp
Solid bibimbap, very interesting skewer dish So Duk Kim (combination of deep fried sausage, korean rice cake and seaweed spring roll with hot and sweet sauce). Felt like something I should get at a night market. Another Portland food cart gem!

Yelp
Decided to take our family where there were many different food cart options. This Korean food cart is excellent, enjoyed the Beef Bulgogi and Japchae noodles.

Kristen M.

Yelp
We waited a long time for our food to be ready. We were just sitting at the table in front of the food cart watching everbody else get there food while we wiatied for over 30 minutes. Then I realized the guy to who took our order looked at the tip amount I left.....SO NOT COOL. Was that why our food was late or (kept from us?)
google avatar

Galusina M.

Yelp
Best mozzarella corn dogs! The plate lunch was good but def not a fan of cranberry's in my Mac.
google avatar

Ciarra L.

Yelp
Food- the food is good. We got the Korean corndog which is light and fluffy. It's got sausage and cheese. It's not greasy but again is super light. The breading is somewhat sweet. The potstickers are good. They have a fresh herby taste. Light and served with a sauce that's sesame and I believe soy sauce with a mix of something else- not sure. I did try the Mozz Cheese Balls- those are fluffy but have a sweet taste to them- again it's the style. Would I return? Yes because they have a lot to offer menu wise. The prices are a little steep but overall worth it. Customer service is great as well. Friendly & very welcoming.

Yelp
Cute food cart with lots of korean dishes and snacks. I feel like many of the restaurants in Portland dont have the asain street style snacks so im glad I found this place. I got the Kimbap and Duk Kko Chi. The kimbap was good but the Duk kko chi was way better than I expected. The rice cakes are actually smaller than the picture and you can dip them in this honey sauce. Really good balance of savory (cheese filled) and sweet (honey dip). The watermelon juice was nice and refreshing. They also handed me a buzzer that would vibrate once the food was ready to be picked up so I could browse around the other food carts while I was waiting. Theres a lot of picnic tables available for seating but no designated parking area so it took us a bit to find street parking. Overall, loved my experience here!
google avatar

Rachel D.

Yelp
Went here specifically seeking out Korean corn dogs, and was a bit disappointed that the hot dog inside was a tiny little thing at the bottom instead of a full sized dog. Flavor was Good but I wouldn't make the drive again for just that
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
Great prices for great food. Good menu selection as well! Quick service and a nice quiet location. Definitely will come here again and try more items from the menu.

Yelp
After searching Yelp in the Portland proper area Ko Sisters was one that popped with the coveted korean style corn dog. I loveee korean food and it's been my latest obsession to try as many korean style corn dogs so when the craving hit I had to stop by. They pair their corn dogs with ketchup/mustard on top but ended up getting it on the side to make sure I could taste the batter. For ~$5 the corn dog was smaller than expected. The batter had a nice crunch but was really thick where the mozzarella didn't really melt in the middle so I didn't have the cheese pull. :( The corn dog could probably have stayed a couple mins longer in the fryer. In addition we got the kimbap side which was affordable and rolled well. The filling seemed to have more pickled ingredients that I am used to and didn't mesh well with my tastebuds (not a super big pickle fan). Staff was nice and in a really cool pod area but the items we ordered fell a little flat.
google avatar

Karen J.

Yelp
Half & half is no ordinary fried chicken. The spicy half also has a hint of sweet, and both have a lovely crunchiness below the glaze. The only thing I would have preferred is more veggies: The white rice and macaroni sides were definitely simple-carb-heavy. Being able to substitute kimchi or japchae would have been perfect!
google avatar

Yelp
Our favorite Korean food in Portland. Staff is friendly and food is off the hook. This is our second visit and this place never disappoints. Situated in a food truck court so there's outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

Lucia Y.

Yelp
Rice cake skewer was really good, also really pricy for a street/snack food. Main dishes are not as good as the snack foods, plenty better Korean food in town

Yelp
The desired mozzarella dogs were all over social media. I've tried in California, which doesn't seem fair, because that's the bar. I've been looking for a mozzarella dog spot in Portland and when I heard about KO Sister's having it, I had to try. The have been on my list since before covid. At first, I thought I missed the cart completely, my navigation was saying I arrived, but the cart was nowhere to be found. It's a small cart tucked in the corner of the food cart pods. It looked promising, the cart had people trickling in and ordering more from there than any other carts in the pod at the time I was there. I got the mozzarella dog and potstickers. The mozzarella dog didn't provide the much-desired cheese pull, the cheese inside was still pretty solid and not as warm as it needed to be. Kind of felt like fried batter with a room temp string cheese. I'm still not sure what was on the bottom of the mozzarella dog, whether it was hotdog or fishcake. The potstickers were okay. I think I didn't get the right things. I'm going to come back and try other things they have to offer.

Yelp
So many unique and exciting options! It's an entirely different Korean food experience than I've ever had or seen in Portland. The food is fast, fresh, cheap, and across the street: I'm gonna be coming here weekly "Mozzarella Hotdog" (the Korean corn dog?): the fluffy interior is slightly sweet, just like cornbread but so much better. The crunchy panko crust is perfectly crisped. The "dog" is made of fish and is a great fusion of Korean flavors in an American tradition. "Hot red bean buns" are simple but effective. You gotta try one of the savory "pancakes"! A little more breading than I'm used to but I loved the stringy strands of fish incorporated into the batter. "Fish cakes with crab" - didn't pick up on the crab, but still great!

Yelp
Came here because my boyfriend found this place on yelp. He was super excited about the cinnamon Hoduk (Pancake), saying it reminded him the good old days in Korea. Ko sisters was hidden in the end of the food cart row, but we had no problem finding it since the food cart was painted in bright yellow! The cart was cute and has a picture menu, which really helped everyone make their decision visually. Since I wasn't involved in the ordering process, I was surprised by the amount of food upon pick up! Later it was proven he was starving when he placed the order, and I had no problem having a feast~ Overall, I like everything he got. We had the beef rib rice box, spicy chicken rice box, Mung bean pancakes and cinnamon Honduk. The portion was very generous and my fav were the ribs and the deep fried spring rolls amount all the yummies! My bf really enjoyed the spicy chicken, and was pleasantly surprised the order came with two huge mung bean pancakes. If you are in the area and are craving some authentic Korean food. You should give it a try!
google avatar

Yelp
We were so, so excited to try this place. One we love corral food, and two, scrumptious photos are all over Instagram. We left feeling a little disappointed. The food wasn't bad, it just didn't live up to expectations and we paid a fair amount for it (~$60), which is not unreasonable for a large Korean meal, but it just wasn't as good as some of the local restaurants. The Bibimbap was not great. The rice seemed a bit hard. The fried chicken was fine, good sauces but not super crispy. The mung bean pancake was pretty good. The corn dog was your typical Korean corn dog, mozzarella cheese stick on the top, hot dog on the bottom. No other restaurant in Portland sells them (to my knowledge) but you can buy the frozen in asian stores. The so duk Kim was different than expected but good. The rice cakes were chewier, the meat more like normal hot dogs, and the sauce like a sweet chili sauce. Overall it's not bad. I'd be interested in trying some of their other options and I like that it's a small business, though I do think some restaurants offer better food.
google avatar

Sandra L.

Yelp
It's hard to find Korean food that tastes like a homecooked meal in this city, but they nail it every time. Highly recommend the sundubu jjigae and kimchi pancake!

Si-Kyun L.

Yelp
Excellent so dduk so dduk! It is very rare to see that menu in PNW area so that was nice. The shikhye was spot on as well and the bulgogi bowl was better than most PNW Korean places.
google avatar

Joon P.

Yelp
So good. The employees are actually Korean. Unbelievable. The chicken here tastes like chicken in Korea. Prices are reasonable. Eat here.
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but overall would not come back. We ordered online and when we came to pick it up, I felt a little uncomfortable that two of the people preparing food were wearing just face shields instead of masks. Then a lady in the back was preparing food and walking around without any mask or face shield at all! At this point I didn't even want to pick up my food but because we had already paid for it, we took it anyway but were shocked at how they are not taking necessary precautions. As for the food, the hot dog had a great cheese pull (at least a foot!) but other than that it was too sweet to be enjoyable. The first piece of fried chicken was pretty good, but it was so sweet and heavy that I couldn't eat more than three pieces (and I love fried chicken).
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Excellent Korean cuisine in north Portland. i loved the soft tofu soup, especially when ordered 'extra spicy'. The kimchee pancake is great, and so is the kimbap.
google avatar

Megan N.

Yelp
WOW! What an awesome little find! Was recommended by a friend of a friend to try here because of their reasonable prices. Getting to the food trucks was a little rough because of their location. (Try your best not to miss the turn or else you're headed back over the bridge) We tried the spicy and the soy kos dak. The spicy isn't that hot. For anyone with a low tolerance for spice, the spicy will be perfect for you. Spicy 12$. Soy 10$ we also tried the skewer that had sausage mochi and nori wrapped noodles! Just one skewer was filling enough and it's even spicier then then chicken. Get it while it's hot!!
google avatar

Taylor B.

Yelp
I really enjoy Ko Sisters! We always have to grab a corndog whenever we're nearby, and I really enjoy their kind service. They're always so nice. I look forward to trying a lot more from this great cart.
google avatar

Josephine K.

Yelp
I was craving some Korean food while touring Portland and came across this little food cart and was not disappointed! All of their food is extremely authentic and flavorful, my favorites including the kimchi pancake, the kimbap, and the spicy rice cake. If you're looking for authentic Korean street-food cuisine in the area, this is the place!
google avatar

Kimberly D.

Yelp
I ordered a kimchi fried rice and honestly it was just some average fried rice and wasn't anything too special. Then I found a strand of hair in my food which definitely was a BIG disappointment to my experience. At this point, I will not be returning to this food cart.
google avatar

Seiji N.

Yelp
Ko Sisters is awesome. The service is friendly, the food is good, the portions are hefty! The Korean fried chicken here is the best part, big big portions of crispy goodness that can feed 2+ people! The second best thing was the skewer with the rice cakes and seaweed rolls! Soooo good and feels very much like street food.
google avatar

Yejee C.

Yelp
Having recently moved from Los Angeles, I was a little skeptical of a Korean food cart...but the so dduk kim (sausage, rice cake, fried seaweed/glass noodle rolls with spicy sauce) has got me HOOKED (visited twice in a week ) It's both sweet, spicy, and savory and gets me so nostalgic about my childhood in Seoul We also tried the cheese corndog which my partner has said is better than Myung Dong hotdog in LA. Also this cart shares a nice spot to sit outdoors with other yummy food vendors!
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
Cool spot in the newly formed food cart area in North Williams area. They have a picture of their items on a big menu board. I got the half and half Korean fried chicken. The portion size was generous and definitely filling. My colleague glee bi bim bap and we shared the rice roll skewer (with hot dog and seaweed roll). The skewer was pretty simple and hot dog had good flavor on it. The people were also psu friendly and made the food quick.
google avatar

Jordan K.

Yelp
My friend mentioned this place to me, it's also next to my work place in Lloyd area. It is located at a newer food cart pod area. Parking will probably be kind of hard when things get back to normal. I got the so duk so duk and bulgogi/spicy pork plate. The so duk so duk is pretty good sweet, tangy and a little spicy. The bulgogi was super tender and flavorful. Look at the side menu for the full menu and not on the cart, I noticed it kinda of late but don't regret my choices. They offer a variety of skewers too! Will be coming again when I'm in the area!
google avatar

Thuan H.

Yelp
Wow! All of quarantine I haven't been out to try anything new because I've been skeptical. My friends recommended this cart and it blew me away. The corn dog was filled with mozzarella inside and the outside was so crispy and delicious with the right flavors! The octopus fish cakes were made just right and I could have probably ate another serving. I saw my friends have a variety fish cake order but I couldn't figure out which one it was on the menu as it was a little confusing. I will return and make sure I grab some photos of the menu!
google avatar

Vivian T.

Yelp
The rice cakes r extremely diluted :( because it's so watery it lost a lot of its flavor and all you can rlly taste is the rice cake itself (WITHOUT the taste of the sauce). The Korean corn dog is good tho!
google avatar

Jack G.

Yelp
Delicious Korean food at moderate prices and friendly service. This food truck is highly recommended.
google avatar

Matt E.

Yelp
I went into my Ko Sisters experience expecting to love it. I've been following them on the socials and here on Yelp and I love Korean food, so I figured it was a big win. It didn't turn out that way. While what I had was fine, I ultimately found the experience disappointing. If somebody else wanted to go here, I would. But I won't seek it out again. Let me add a big caveat. I say that I love Korean food (and I do) but on this day I ordered the corn dog and the bulgogi burrito. Hardly traditional Korean orders, but also they call themselves Korean street food and the corn dog is alllll over Instagram, so I figured it was a safe bet. They tasted good, but it boiled down to 3 complaints: 1) The dog in the corn dog is tiny. It's like 1/4 the size of what's battered and wrapped in mozzarella. I felt ripped off. 2) I saw them microwaving the meat for my burrito. Just not OK. 3) After tip I spent almost $20! Now I'm not cheap, but I got a cocktail weenie and microwaved bulgogi. There's a disconnect there. IDK... I really really wanted to like this place. I forced a carload of folks to go here specifically. But I was let down.
google avatar

Jennie S.

Yelp
Perhaps seeing the other yelp reviews had hyped me up to think the food would be amazing but it really was just okay. We ordered quite a lot of food consisting of their mung bean pancake, bibimbap, half & half chicken, and fried corn dog. Of everything I tried, I loved the mung bean pancake. It was made fresh and easily falls apart in your mouth (5/5). Bibimbap was just okay (3/5) and half & half chicken was good (4/5) but nothing too special. What I do appreciate from the two was the generous portion size, which can easily be shared between a party of people especially if you choose to go family style. Fried corn dog is good (4/5), make sure to eat this right away if you want to get the cheese pull effect from the stuffed mozzarella cheese. The fishcake dog near the bottom was okay, an interesting swap from your regular sausage. If not for the mung bean cake and fried corn dog, I don't think I would be back any time soon. All the items were a bit pricey so I would definitely highly recommend coming with a party of people so you can try a variety of dishes. As of now, this is the only place I know of that sells the fried corn dog... I took a look at their website, and everything was in Korean and I wondered if there was a possibility of updating the website so that there is an English option available to garner more customers and attention.

Yelp
I was very underwhelmed by my visit to this food truck and don't think I'll return. There's too many good places to eat in Portland. I ordered the japchae and potstickers and mozzarella balls. I'll start with the japchae, one of my favorite dishes. For starters I was immediately disappointed that my $13 dish was all of about 4-6 ounces of noodles with very little veggies, nary a piece of meat and served with white rice, I assume to fill you up because the main dish is so small! It didn't even say it comes with rice yet it's half the serving of food in the dish. The flavor was just okay, too salty if you ask me and I love salt! I think the owner of this cart needs to visit Kim Jong grillin so they know what a really good order of japchae looks like. Not only is the japchae dish at Kim Jong four times the size for the same price and all japchae, no white rice, it's absolutely delicious. Such an easy dish with relatively inexpensive ingredients. It was insulting to pay $13 for a child size portion of mediocre japchae! The potstickers were just okay and the mozzarella balls have a sweetness to the breading that coats them. Definitely not in my flavor profile for a mozzarella ball, the sweetness was a turnoff to me. I wish this place luck but it's not for me.

Kierra M.

Yelp
I paid $14.50 for Kimchi & Bulgogi Fried Rice w/ Fried egg and I was sorely disappointed. The best part was the fried egg which is an add-on. The bulgogi felt like an obligation, and not actually a part of the dish. The biggest piece I found couldn't even be considered a bite, and I had to dig pretty intently to find any meat in my dish. Again this a $13+ meal. The rice didn't have an amazing texture, for the color it tasted quite flavorless, and I truly apologize but my first impression is that "this tastes like spit". I don't mind paying any price for good food, but I can't help but to lament at the money I lost ordering this dish. For this amount of money, I could've made a weeks worth of this dish, with a more earnest serving of kimchi and bulgogi.

Yelp
Corn dog (aka Korean hot dog): 5/5 Delicious! Definitely would recommend. Chewy cheese in the first half, tasty Asian hotdog in the last half, all covered in delicious, sweet(ish) fried batter that's (probably) not made of corn. You will not be disappointed! Cinnamon hottek: 3.5/5 Unfortunately had that raw dough taste. But the crust had the potential to be flaky had the dough been thoroughly cooked. The filling was craving some nuttiness. Overall ok. Fried chicken: 3/5 Sauce was too salty. Too much gochujang. Not enough sticky sweetness. The chicken was unfortunately also dry. Was not a huge fan of the batter either. Could use some more work. 4 stars overall for the potential!

Yelp
Hidden at cartside in a little corner. It was really busy when we went so it was hard to implement social distancing. Really cheap. excellent food. I ordered the tofu bowl and it was super good. Did not disappoint. Fried tofu in spicy sauce with a fried glass noodle seaweed wrap and veggie dumpling. The rice cake was also very delicious and spicy.

Yelp
Visited this place on our trip out to Oregon, and so glad we did!! Loved it so much we ate it twice! everything was delicious
google avatar

Yelp
Ko sisters is located in a small food truck area on a one way street. I love my Korean food so this isn't anything to special. Your basic beef bulogi or pork, pot stickers, chicken and what not. Though, the skewers are low key huge compared to another place I had and ima give them that. It's good! Not amazing, def a place to stop buy if you happen to want some Korean in that location.
google avatar

Mick H.

Yelp
Delicious for any day, especially on the wet rainy day when I visited. There are lots of good carts at this pod, but today I picked this one. I went with the #11 mild chicken. Everything is cooked well and the portions are big. The folks who run the cart are really nice, too! You can dine outside under a covered area or inside the tap house.

Yelp
I've been to this place several times and have recommended it to several friends and clients. On this last trip I ordered my favorite, the bulgogi burrito. On this visit, it barely had any meat in it. I was so disappointed. I kept eating thinking the meat was at the bottom... Nope. I took it back to them and they first disputed my claim, then ultimately just gave me the shoulder shrug. This is a $13 burrito mind you. Welp, scratch this place off the list. There's too many food options in this town to put up with that.

Yelp
One of the best food cart I've been to! Love their Korean Fried Chicken and the Kimchi Fried Rice

I had seen Ko Sisters all over my Instagram feed and finally one night after watching my favorite drag queens Kim Chi and Trixie Mattel do a muk bang after ordering Kim Chi's favorite Korean foods I realized how much I needed to order from Ko Sisters. We got it delivered and the quality of the food held up really well after traveling two miles to get to us. Bravo on the to-go packaging procedures of this spot. The So Duk Kim was definitely my favorite part of the order. First of, I am a sucker for any rice cake anything and theirs has a nice sweet crunchy outside. The hot dog and the seaweed roll were the perfect bite together and all in all I could slam like 5 of these of someone let me. The Corn Dog is just so amazing. You are eating a sweet and salty and savory and crunchy item here and honestly the way the breading held up after a car ride was impressive. Can't wait to get this again. The Fried Chicken was really good, and I would have ordered it spicy if my boo could handle it. The portion size on this item is huge and comes with just the right amount of rice. Next time I'm ordering the half/hakf mild spicy fried chicken so my boo and I can split it. The Fried Kimchi Bulgogi Rice was okay. I liked the bulgogi, but any bit of rice that I got without any egg or meat was pretty bland compared to what I'm used to. Everything else was so dang flavorful, so I'm wondering if this was just a fluke. I'll be ordering again real soon! Pro Tip: I ordered delivery and definitely prepare to wait for an hour because this place is popular!

Yelp
An authentic Korean street food style corn dog! Hit the spot and really transported me to the foodie streets of Seoul for a few minutes until it lasted. It feels like a day dream!

Yelp
Just got this place delivered to my house and the japchae was literally half a portion with a bunch of rice for almost $15?? Other places give you a full portion for that price. Also it had only one tiny piece of bulgogi in it too. Kimbap was just gross, super fishy and seemed like the ingredients were very low quality. The meat trio was not only cold but at least 50% of the meat was just fat, you also get a pretty small portion of meat for $20. So disappointed, do not recommend.

Yelp
I seriously have no words. I've never had real bulgogi, but I do know what the flavor is supposed to be like since I have made a couple of fusion dishes I've seen videos for online. I went ahead and ordered a bulgogi burrito because I love fusion dishes and anything I can eat with one hand. This thing was MONSTROUS in my hand. Granted, I am a particularly averaged size American girl so my hands are not huge, but I know this thing would fill anyone up. Trust me, it's girthy. (I only ended up having room for half.) The burrito contains bulgogi beef (I believe they have chicken too), japchae (glass noodle stir fried with vegetable), cabbage, lettuce, bean sprout, cilantro, kimchi fried rice, and spicy mayo. The texture alone is enough to win me over but the flavor was amazing! If you're not a fan of kimchi, I want to assure you the flavor is not as intense as kimchi alone. It is noticeable, however. This was one of the most satisfying meals I've enjoyed in a while and I'm almost sure you'd be sorry having never tried it! edit: So I heated up the other half this morning in aluminum foil in the oven at 350 for 8 minutes (meat/rice side down on the cookie sheet) and it tastes just the same as it did when i ordered it last night! I typically hate getting burritos because I can usually only eat half and by the next day the tortilla is stale and/or soggy. I was so surprised that this was still so good the next morning!

Yelp
Ko Sisters Food Truck serves wonderful Korean food. I have visited twice now; I love the options and for Korean dishes and the portions will fill you up. At my most recent visit I ordered the Kalbi Short ribs, bibimbap, and a corn dog. I really liked the galbi ribs and bibimbap. The short rib rice plate was great! It came with short ribs, rice, pasta salad, 1 piece of potsticker, and 1 piece of seaweed spring roll. The bibimbap was a variety of korean side dishes, bulgogi, and a fried egg on top of the rice. It definitely hit the spot! The corn dog was good to try, but I most likely wouldn't get it again myself. During my first visit, I got the bulgogi rice plate. It came with rice, 1 piece of potsticker, and 1 piece of seaweed spring rolls, a whole lot of bulgogi, and a side salad. Ko Sisters is the place to go to for your Korean Food fix!
