This small, authentic Japanese restaurant is a gem. Tucked to the side on 39th St, you'll have to be alert when looking for it, especially at night... because you just might pass it. Specializing in Japanese seasonal food, this is the non-vegetarian sister place of Kajitsu. The chef is Chef Abe, formerly of En Japanese Brasserie, and he doesn't disappoint. The service is meticulous and the quality is excellent, albeit the serving portions are authentically more Japanese (on the smaller side).
