My wife and I were visiting from out of town, and a local friend recommended this café for coffee and a snack. It was a Monday , not sure if that matters, but worth noting.
We told the cashier it was our first time here. I ordered a croissant egg and cheese, but they were out of croissants, so I substituted an everything bagel. Then I ordered an ube iced latte, which led to some confusion , first I was told they were out of ube, then told they actually had some. I'm still not sure if it was added in the end, but the drink was good regardless.

Where things went downhill was the service. The barista with colored hair initially brought me a regular iced latte. When I mentioned it was supposed to be ube, she seemed a bit irritated, maybe with herself, maybe with me, and remade it (or just added syrup, which was fine).
Later, as we were finishing up, I went to grab a to-go box for my wife's leftovers. I asked the gentleman at the bar, and he kindly pointed me to the self-service station behind me, joking that it was okay since it was our first time. Super nice interaction, 10/10 for him.
However, when I couldn't find to-go cups there and reached for one near the espresso machine, the same barista reacted pretty dramatically, sighing loudly, folding her arms, and even dropping her head onto the counter. It was uncomfortable and honestly unnecessary. I genuinely hope she was just having a rough day, but it did leave a sour note on our visit.
Overall, the place has great food and a nice vibe, but the service experience made me feel unwelcome. I probably wouldn't return, though I hope others have a better experience than we did.
