KoMex Fusion

This place is great, and honestly… I almost don’t want to tell you how great it is so it doesn’t blow up and become as crazy busy as it deserves to be. 😅 But Komex is truly amazing. The food is incredible, the flavors are on point, and everything feels fresh, thoughtful, and made with care. One of those rare spots you leave already thinking about when you’re coming back. Highly recommend (but also… don’t tell everyone 😉).

So good that we came back twice in one week. Haven’t tried anything yet that we didn’t like. The chimichanga was amazing. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful.

Soooo good! We got the fried rice combo style (beef, chicken and pork), bulgogi tots and the wings. The tots were already devoured by the time I took this photo. Everything was fantastic including the house made lemonade that comes with free refills. They also sell their house made sauces that were phenomenal. Small dining area that fills up fast but totally worth it!!

Great food, amazing service. The bulgogi philly cheese steak sandwich was out of this world. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. It's off strip and well worth the drive. I will be back next time I'm in Vegas.

Don't walk, run. Lots of veg options and one of the best fusion I have ever eaten. We were visiting Vegas from Tampa and now I wish this restaurant was in Tampa.

We found this place on Reddit and we were thrilled we went. The service was incredible and the food was amazing. We’ll be telling our friends and we’ll be back!

Wow!!! My Aunt and Uncle took me, my husband, and our 2 toddlers here to eat. It was amazing!! As a pregnant mom it was just what I needed. The kids loved it and I’ve been craving it since leaving. Fish Tacos were fabulous!! And the Fusion Fries were incredible. Very polite staff.

The word that best describes this place is FLAVOR! It's been a long time since I have frequented this establishment because it is a long drive from McDonald Highlands. There are some great fusion options on the menu. I love their wonton soup! I know the rent is cheaper up North, but if they opened another resturant on St. Rose, it would do a killing. The service A+... the burrito was not worth 15.00. Rating 6 My kids... cheese enchiladas 7.0 The pork burrito rating 4 3 people bill was 60.00 a bit high for 3 people for lunch.

Always fire. Fusion pork taco= fusion chicken tostada= Meat is piled high and the sauce= If you don't eat pork, I feel sorry for you (I only eat pork outside of the house). Complementary bottled water. Fast service.

Komex was awesome everything had amazing flavor! What really made the experience great was the customer service. If you get a chance to stop by this little mom and pop shop I'd 100% recommend checking it out.

Komex Fusion is a small casual Mexican-Korean-Fusion Restaurant. It is a small place that isn't fancy but seems clean. They offer fusion and Mexican tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and lots of bulgogi cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, sliders, flautas, a children's menu, and lots more. Soft beverages are served here. This restaurant also has been recognized by many such as Food Network, The Cooking Channel, Las Vegas Review Journal, Buzz Feed, and more! Whatever you order they start you off with complimentary chips and very good salsa. If you order water you get a complimentary bottled water. We tried a bunch of things - (pork, chicken, fish tacos, fried won tons, bulgogi grilled cheese, and the famous beef bulgogi toastada) What blew us away was that all proteins were expertly prepared. They were all tender and delicious. Everything we tried was generously packed. My personal favorite was the famous toastada....It had the most going on with it. But everything exceeded my expectations. My husband is undecided if he will get the bulgogi grilled cheese or a toastada next time because he enjoyed them both so much! Service was PHENOMENAL. The lady serving us could not be more friendly, helpful or efficient. I have to highly recommend Komex Fusion You will enjoy!

Service from Julie was excellent. The food and service here is always top notch. The restaurant was very quiet when we went and Julie was very helpful in ordering different food. If your in the area or visiting make sure this place is on you list to visit!

I enjoy both Korean and Mexican food, so this was interesting! The service was very good. I tried the buloghi burrito. It was larger than expected and very good. I would recommend this place! It is small and reasonably priced!

Hidden gem. Food is good!!! Very flavorful. I need to try other things. Service was great very nice. It was quiet and homey. This place is tucked in the corner by a cellphone looking spot.

Didn't know what to expect with this fusion but it was good! Favorite was the Kimchi fried rice with bulgogi $15 Comes with free chips and salsa.

Definitely a hidden gem! My parents, husband and I found this place through a mutual. We came on a weekday afternoon and it was not busy at all. We were able to get seated right away! Inside is pretty spacious and able to fit a good amount of people. THE FOOD... it was soooooo good! It's such an excellent fusion of both Mexican and Korean foods. You have to try it. Also, the workers are really nice and attentive. Definitely coming back.

Food was delicious! Portions are very generous, the place is clean and the customer service is amazing. Highly recommend. Make sure to try the salsa, spicy and flavorful.

After reading some Yelp reviews we popped in to Komex for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the food tasted. It's located in an unassuming little area, but don't judge by the exterior because they have some kick ass food! Our food came out piping hot, full of flavor and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Bulgogi Fried Rice and hubby ordered the Bulgogi Rice Bowl. Both were on point. I guess that's why they've been on the Food Network. Highly recommend!

Wow! This local spot has some great must try dishes! The kimchi fried rice was bomb and the fusion tots were delicious. The staff here is friendly and very helpful. I love the wonton soup cause it's not skimpy on the wontons. Small restaurant but quaint. They close at 8pm. The portions are perfect and the prices are very good. Family of 5 ate for $79.

This place is too cool. Korean and Mexican fusion. Kimchi fried rice. Bulgogi chimichanga. Enjoyed both, but will return for the chimichanga.

This was one of the first places recommended to me after moving to Vegas and it did not disappoint! Two amazing cuisines colliding make for a delicious meal. To start off, complimentary chips and salsa are provided. The salsa is phenomenal!!! Everything that I have ever ordered has been a hit. Service is always on point and the place is kept clean. The restaurant is still set up for social distancing so there are barriers between tables. I also love that the menu is posted large enough to see with corresponding pictures at each table.

I haven't been to KoMex in years. We had lunch here and ordered a variety of foods, from burritos, tostadas, tacos and even wonton soup. The flavors were spot on and the service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and had some seating inside. Overall, I enjoyed the fusion cooking combo of Korean and Mexican. The price was reasonable and portions ample. If you're looking for something off the beaten path and not just fast food chains, KoMex is the place to be!

I stopped by here because I've heard great things about this place! The food was so good. I loved the Korean fusion salsa on my tacos. And the Musubis were so good as well. The server lady was very friendly and nice. It's cute small hole in the wall kind of place :) I'd love to come again when I come back to Vegas next time!!

Delicious! Great food! Amazing customer service by far the best in service in Las Vegas!!!! The food was very good it definitely is a merger of flavors in the best way possible one style doesn't over power the other!!! We ordered the make your own Ramen so good and my daughter loved making it her self at a restaurant. The Fusion Burrito delicious, Shrimp Quesadilla good, Combination Fried Rice very good & Fusion Chicken Wings so delicious and good amount of sauce and to top it off with ended it with Korean ice cream pops tasty of course. The inside had enough room to sit down eat and have your own conversation. And it was nice and cool inside but not too cold. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere thank you for the great customer service

The Beef Bulgogi Chimichanga and the Bulgogi Burrito were so amazing!! 10/10 for the food score! The spicy Korean sauce paired so well in the burrito! I want to give a 5-Star rating , but if we weren't eating from to-go containers & styrofoam plates with plastic utensils, it would've been better; we were dining inside. Cutting my daughter's food on a styrofoam plate wasn't appealing either. As for ambiance, there is room for improvement. I suggest removing the scratched up plexiglass dividers that were probably put up for covid. Service was awesome! Bottomline, the food is definitely a 10/10!! I love supporting small businesses, so please, come for the food!! I love the Korean-Mexican fushion!

Been here a few times now. Small place with decent service. Pork belly fusion tacos are my favorite! But I also love their fusion tatar tots and fusion cheesesteak.

Where can you go to get hot wonton soup, spam musubi, and an amazing bulgogi bowl all at once? Komex fusion on Decatur. It's a hidden gem, and everyone needs to know about this place. The Spam Belly is one spam and one pork belly. These are flatter than a hawaiian musubi, which i personally love. The wonton soup is amazing. The wontons are big and full of flavor, and they give you a lot for the price. The bulgogi bowl was packed with kimchi, Jalapeños, rice, and a big sunny side up egg. There are so many flavors in one dish. Now, when they ask you if u want the hot sauce, say yes! Next time im there, im going to grab a big container of this. It's homemade hot sauce, but it's very unique. You can put it on anything. You wont regret it. The service was great. The food was fantastic. Try Komex Fusion

Love love love! We came to Vegas for a couple days to celebrate my mom's birthday, and my brother recommended this place. There isn't too many parking spots, so make sure you go early to find a spot. The restaurant was small, so I would go before the crowd comes in. When we first walked in our waitress was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She gave us recommendations and answered all of questions. We needed up getting a few items to share and their food was so unique and flavorful. The tostada was crispy rice on the bottom instead of a hard corn tortilla shell. We ended up taking the food back home because it was so good. Definitely worth coming back here when we're in town.

KoMex Fusion doesn't need another positive review but we are going to give them one anyway. Absolutely incredible both the service and the food. The attention by the owner was over the top and rightfully so he clearly takes a lot of pride in his food and service. We had the Teriyaki Plate, Fusion Wings and Bulgogi Rice Bowl and each had there own unique taste and flavor and all were amazing. The tasting sauces were out of this world and rumor has it they are heading to market, so tasty. We can't wait to return!!

I love this place, the food is consistent service is always good! There are several dishes I love, and it's so hard to choose when I get here. I only order the meat that starts with a "B" it's like carnas asada meat. If you're in the area, drop by and give them a try!

Service was exceptional and fast! Food was fresh and delicious. I wanted a quick meal and ordered the bulgogi grilled cheese and my friend ordered bulgogi tostada! The portion was great and the flavor of the beef bulgogi was on point! Can't wait to try their other dishes.

Best food in Las Vegas! It's consistently excellent, loaded with unique flavor. The beef bulgogi is the best I've ever eaten and the same every time. The service is attentive and staff is friendly and welcoming. I drive 26 miles to eat here every week and have been doing that for over four years. Prices are reasonable and fair. Do yourself a huge favor and come try it soon!

Food and service was spectacular. Angelicque was our server. She was very friendly, happy, and nice. AWESOME SERVER! We ordered everything she suggested we also ordered the bulgogi bowl but I forget to take a picture of it. Definitely will be back if I'm on this side of town

The food was amazing again! I had the fusion pork belly, beef bulgogi chicken tacos, fusion chicken wings and spicy ramen soup.I brought my wife and daughter here. when I'm in Vegas. The location is owned by a childhood classmate. Home run with the service and food!

This Korean/Mexican foods. They're have a very nice concept for mix and match together and that is very nice. Portion is big, that is responsible for the price. They're serving in plastic plates, that you can asking for lids and bring it home. Service is nice and friendly. They're recommended and tell you anything about foods.

Food is thee best! Especially the pan seared fish dinner. The mixed vegetables are seasoned to perfection, the rice is cooked perfectly and the fish is fresh and hot off the grill. The sauce in the cup sets everything off. Posting this the next day so no pic available ‍ but looks exactly like what's in the pictures

My son wanted to try this place. He heard from his friends that it was a good place. It was a good choice! Food was really good, our waitress was excellent! Very courteous & attentive. Always checked on us to see if we needed anything. Restaurant was clean & is decorated nicely. We would come back to eat again!

Stopped by after hearing about this Korean and Mexican fusion spot on local social media. Did not disappoint. I love fresh made burritos and the Bulgogi beef was a welcome change up from typical burritos. I really liked the heavy salad wrapped in also. It just tasted fresh like Asian plate meals tend to. The Fusion tater tots were also so good. Pricing was on point. For a family spot, I felt like I was getting so much value for my money. It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back.

One of our favorite stops in Las Vegas. Great combination of Korean and Mexican. I like the Rice Bulgogi Bowl (beef) and it never disappoints! Topped with a fried egg and served with a choice of two sauces. I was with friends and they ordered the pork belly tacos and fried rice with stir fry veggies. Looked delicious too! Did I mention the tortilla chips and salsa served at the beginning are really delicious!

Wow it's been so long since I've had Komex. Korean and Mexican fusion is always such a yummy combo. I think it tasted better when I was younger, but it was still fun to eat. We ordered the pork belly musubi, beef bulgolgi fries, and chicken burrito. The pork belly musubi wasn't as delicious as I remember. But it was compact and easy to eat. I wish there were more slices of pork belly. The ratio of rice to meat was too much rice. The chicken burrito was the most lackluster of the bunch. The chicken really wasn't anything memorable. The rice was not very flavorful. I'd much rather have a Mexican chicken burrito, no competition at all. The best of the 3 was hands down the bulgolgi fries. It tasted just like carne asada except with bulgolgi, which made the classic dish even better. It was loaded with toppings. The only way it could've been better was if it had guacamole like actual carne asada fries. I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon, as we will likely choose full blown Mexican or Korean first before coming here, but it was fun revisiting youthful memories of coming here. As far as fusion goes, it's not bad. Service is good. And the restaurant is clean.

Today we were greeted by Wanda, such a sweet and kind waitress. I watched her welcome everyone who person who came in. I LOVE the Fusion Tostada! The tostada made of rice patties which makes the fusion of Korean and Mexican perfectly. Loved seeing the rave reviews frames on the wall. Komex is a family owned restaurant that prides itself on excellence.

The food here is simply awesome. Love the fusion menu items. Prices are very reasonable. Friendly service too. I prefer the pork meat in my fusion items. My favorites are fusion nachos and tostada.

I guess Yelp is dropping old reviews like elite statuses these days. So now this looks like my first take when originally I had reviewed KoMex with an enthusiastic 4-5 star rating! Mind you palates are meant to evolve and that review was over 7? years ago when I had discovered them (this location) and began a scandalous affair, which is to say I was cheating on Los Angeles & Kogi trucks & other OGs of Korean Mexican Fusion. That said, know the affair ended swiftly & quietly -thus the many years gap since returning (& Yelping). The good part is that the bulgogi is still decent and the portions are still generous. The bad: it's just not as I remembered. One of us has lost our flair. The ugly: the epic mess of eating loaded fries with a fork contradicting the not so epic full yet insatiable aftermath. To be fair a) I don't eat red meat or pork as much/consistently, and b) I used to only mess with KoMex burritos & chimichangas, which were yummy, & occasionally fries, which were always great when intoxicated. My friend got the bulgogi rice bowl, which she really liked and recommends while also agreeing it could've been the egg and needed more sauce. For what it is, KoMex remains great. Fusion is great!! But I wouldn't need to come back for another so many years. Tho I'd definitely come back! More good: salsas still spicy, service still super sweet. Best Tip: go with friends & do family style so you can try as many combos for a true bang for your buck.

I wasn't surprised that this hole in the wall restaurant received great reviews. Mexican Korean fusion, come on! The fried rice was alright, but the dish that really stood out was the chimichanga with bulgogi, rice, cheese, and pico de gallo sauce. I wasn't entirely sure what was in their special KoMex sauce, but it was delicious. I would've given it five stars except that they forgot one of our orders and so we had to go out of our way to drive back.

You just can't go wrong with anything on this menu. I recommend starting with the bulging i fusion burrito and fusion nachos. Order them both with kimchi. The sauces they have are to die for. I would have taken a photo but we devoured our plates so fast that I forgot. Mmmmmmm.

Great awesome Korean Mexican fusion restaurant. If you're near North Las Vegas to downtown area swing by and try this place out. Smaller shop and with only 2 people total there, when most seats got taken (withing 15min of opening), he turned off the open sign to ease things. So if you are in a rush I'd place and order may have to keep calling. He does everything! Salsas that come with are all different so try then all. Burrito was really good. Got that beef bulgogi taste right off the bat. Along with the slight vinegar slaw. I was happy with everything Chips and salsa included with dine in. Salsa got some kick too.

It had been nine years since I had last eaten here, largely because Diane and I had been dining off and on at the KoMex Fusion outlet on Buffalo that closed. I was pleased to note that the place had not changed much since my last in-person visit. Complimentary thick and crunchy Tortilla Chips & Salsa and requested complimentary Guacamole were brought out first. Then a big bowl of Wonton Soup with delectable wontons filled with ground beef and pork was presented in two large Styrofoam containers. The soup was very hot and simply great. This was followed for me by a huge steaming entree of Combo Chow Fettuccine with Beef, Chicken, and Shrimp that contained Green and Red Bell Peppers in a large plastic container. It was really tasty! An order of thin French Fries appeared to use frozen potatoes but was nevertheless tasty. And Diane found her Shrimp Fusion Quesadilla to be quite filling but more saucy than she prefers. The dining room--with tables now separated by plastic panels--was very clean, and service was fine, friendly, and efficient. Above all, the made-to-order food--including the Guac--was excellent. I just would have preferred the use of ceramic dishware to hold my soup and chosen entree. XXXX-1/2 stars overall this time around!

Walked in no one was there, small Resturant that felt like we were having dinner at home was greeted and seated immediately. They provided hand sanitizer and wipes at each table. The owner/server was amazing he made sure we were well token care of throughout our dinner refilling drinks making sure we had napkins ect. We ordered the fusion tots, fusion beef fries, chicken wings and the fish plate. My favorite was the pan fried fish it was moist and melted in your mouth, with great flavoring. The chicken wings were a perfect amount of heat as my oldest daughter said they were spicy for her. The fusion tots were great the tots were crispy throughout each bite and the beef was delicious. Overall we felt welcomed and had a great dinner. Thank you, we all appreciated the time we had.
