As Vegas locals, I’m surprised we hadn’t come sooner. We came before our reservation slot but the staff was welcoming and sat us in right away. Here’s what we ordered: Vegetarian combo appetizer: this came with fried eggplant tofu, sweet potato, fried broccoli, and spring roll with sweet/hot sauce. The best part was the fried sweet potato as it was refreshing with the sauce. Everything was well coated in batter and perfectly fried. Vegetarian satay: this was our second time eating satay ever and is likely the best so far. It was well cut, seasoned, and pair well with the peanut sauce. This was my favorite dish of the evening! Pad Kee Mao: can’t go wrong with this one as it’s a classic. We added soy chicken to this and it was the same vegan meat as the satay so we had no complaints there but it was made slightly different to better pair with the flat rice noodles. Yellow curry: our first time ordering yellow curry ever and we were amazed. Our favorite is panang but this definitely tops that as it was rich and creamy. Absolutely a stunning dish (my wife’s favorite)! Mango sticky rice: it’s been several years since we had this, and we were hoping for sweet mangoes as it’s summer and mango season. We were not disappointed at all because the mangoes were perfectly sweet and the sticky rice was made to perfection (the crispy golden rice on the top has a nice touch). We were blow away - definitely a great way to end a meal. Great location and restaurant overall and the staff made it even better. If you’re in town, this is the Thai restaurant to be at.

Gotta be honest. We came here because our normal spot, Arawan, was closed. Looks like for good? Don't know. But it was dinner and we just went next door to this spot. We had never been before. The food and service were good. The prices reasonable. We had pad Thai, yellow curry, and massaman curry. The pad Thai was just okay but their curries are outstanding! Fast forward the next week. We decided to try the chicken satay and the $13 lunch specials. The chicken was incredibly moist and the peanut sauce was SO GOOD we asked for it on our lunch special salads. Yum!!! Pretty good spring rolls but a bit like the pad Thai, not out of this world. We chose the Thai chili basil with pork and Pad See Ew with chicken. They were perfection to be honest. We are now big fans of this spot. Very comfortable inside, great food, and great service. It won't deter us from going but we did find the constant phone ringing from the host desk a bit off-putting. Not a fan of hearing the phone ring a few feet away over and over while trying to relax. But maybe that is just us.

Google
Nice easy spot for a nice range of vegetation friendly Thai food, had Pad See Yew with Tofu from their lunch special menu. The service was a little slow, food was a bit bland (and not spicy at all for a requested medium heat) but the prices were great, was served a nice little starter and it was a nice meal regardless. Would go back again for low key dining when in that area.

Google
This restaurant really surprised me. From the outside it’s quite inconspicuous. Once you enter, you’re inside a beautiful, cozy and tranquil atmosphere. We went at a time it wasn’t very busy. Our food arrived super fast and our service was very attentive. The food itself was good. I appreciate that they have several vegan options on their menu. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu. Maybe I would have enjoyed it a bit more if it had less and smaller chunks of tofu. Otherwise it was good. The spring rolls were decent. Portions are big and price is fair. Worth it if you don’t want to spend all your time on the Las Vegas Strip.

Aug-9-2025 I was meant by a wonderful young Asian manager server. I’ll get his name later. I really enjoyed this place because it’s atmosphere is quiet like the word restaurant suggests. I hadn’t been here for a while, but I had a great tasting Tom Kah lemon grass, shrimp soup and some fabulous fresh spring rolls wrapped in a bean opaque curd. They just melt it in your mouth, noodles, lettuce, and all. I’m really looking forward to get back to this place for some peace, quiet and wonderful food selection they have. God bless you all love your Thai food. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 9/22/2022 Dear owners and staff We were greeted with a nice welcome on our arrival by Amy. Thank you Amy for your wonderful attentiveness and excellent service. My son and I appreciate you. Fresh egg rolls were great as well as garlic chicken and sons hot Mongolian beef selection. Thanks for the wonderful food. *************************** Dangly Soooo Amazzing. The 5 Chefs that worked their magic again here have outstanding skillsets when it comes to this longtime community Thai anchor restaurant. The customer service here is excellent and well managed from the time you enter til exit. Amazingly tasty food and Chef creativity are the key to Komodo continued success. komol is located centrally inside the newly polished parking area of this 50 year Old Historic Commercial at 953 East Sahara Ave. Thanks to Ron McMenamy & family as well as the business owners tenaciously remaining here thru this trying last year we still have some great restaurant contenders here in Vegas with great reasonable prices.

A hidden gem. We brought our out of town guest here for authentic Thai food. We enjoyed everything we tasted. Service was attentive and courteous.

Google
This Thai restaurant is truly exceptional and ranks among the finest in the US! Having explored numerous Thai establishments, I can confidently say that this one easily secures a spot in the top three. The service provided was truly impressive, with prompt delivery of our food. Our appetizers consisted of delectable egg rolls and wontons, both bursting with flavor. As for the main course, we indulged in the mouthwatering duck chili mint and the fried catfish accompanied by a delightful red curry sauce. These dishes were nothing short of extraordinary! Our overall experience was nothing short of wonderful, leaving us eager to revisit this establishment in the future.

Google
We used to go here a lot a few years back. It has changed and isn't good. I'm not sure what happened but it's not the tasty, home style Thai place we used to love. I hope they find their way again.

Yelp
Great service, good food, prepared fast. We like getting food to go. Great for locals.

Yelp
What happened to Komol?!? I am a long time customer who has been coming here the last 21 years . I used to LOVE coming here but the papaya salad + herbal salad felt as if it had been in the fridge for a couple of days - I had my mother try it and she says they changed to sauce which made it undesired and we ended up leaving it on the table . The veggie pad Thai + summer rolls however were good . Whoever owns the place now PLEASE change the salads to how it used to be. Will return once the new owners get it under control . It's a mess

Yelp
This review is based on delivery only and by no means does it reflect any dining in experience. Got some pad see ew, fresh spring rolls and Thai green tea delivered to the Mirage Hotel by the strip. The spring rolls and the Thai green tea were great but the pad see ew was just awful. I selected the combination for the protein which should include chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp; I can understand having just 3 pieces of shrimp in there but when the rest of the protein consists of about 80% chicken you know that something's wrong. My other issue was the carrot to broccoli ratio. One of the reasons why I get this kind of meal is usually for the broccoli but when I find only 2 pieces of broccoli I was rather disappointed. Im hoping that this was just a one time issue but who knows, I may try it again next time when craving Thai when in Vegas and may have a different experience.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I went there. I use to go all the time to get my beef ball noodle soup. It was my favorite thing to get, but I didn't realize that it was different owner now. They had something else like the chicken noodle soup. It was very bland. I didn't eat the chicken because it was very dry. The ambiance look the same as it used to, but nicer. Thank you

Yelp
The service is excellent and everyone there was very nice and friendly. They had a very standard menu, but the food was delicious. And the portions are large. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Always a good time at Komol! We love the vegetarian menu here. We got the pad thai, garlic pepper, cashew nut, and kung pao. We were a bit disappointed that they ran out of soy duck but we liked the soy chicken just fine. The fried tofu in the cashew was a family favorite as it was really crispy and juicy/flavorful. However, if anyone has dental issues in your group you may not want to order it as it was too tough for one person in our family. Recommend 10/10 for a great off-strip dinner!

Yelp
The staff at Komol Thai are really friendly and make you feel welcome. The food, especially the Yellow Curry Fried Rice and Thai Basil Fried Rice, is delicious. The old-world charm of the place adds a nice touch. I highly recommend it!

Yelp
This is by far one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to, the food was so good, fresh and flavorful. I love how they had child plates for my kids to eat from, I did t have to worry about them breaking something. I will be back regularly

Yelp
Favorite Thai spot in Vegas! Every time we go we *MUST* eat at Komol. The service is great and the portions are plentiful. We haven't been in a while, but the many times before were amazing. We've had yellow curry, pad Thai, egg rolls and a few other things I can't remember, but we've never been disappointed. Lots of seating, ambiance is low key, but comfortable!

Yelp
Komol Thai is authentic with its atmosphere and their food. It was close to my office, so we would go there to celebrate, anything. Then came the the pandemic..... and I retired right after that. It was time to celebrate again with my friend for her birthday. So we both said "let's go to Komol"!She ordered the panang as usual and I branched out and ordered the masaman curry. Both were fantastic.... But the crowning jewel was dessert, mango sticky rice, and our lovely wait staff brought another order for the "birthday girl" to take home.

Yelp
So glad we stopped by here for lunch. We would always go to the other Thai place, today, hubby said 'let's try KOMOL for a change. We tried the lunch special. I did the chicken chili basil and spouse did the chicken panang curry. The lunch special came with eggroll and salad. Choice of ginger or peanut dressing. We did the peanut dressing, and all were yummylicious. The food here is very good, Thai at its' best even for lunch specials. The place from outside is quite a little dim, however, once you step inside, it's another ambience altogether. Staff, real friendly and accommodating, polite and respectful even when the place had a good number of patrons. I'd definitely be back here. Oh, don't forget your free Thai Tea from YELP check-in!!

Yelp
We found this restaurant on our way to vegas and we were glad we could find a health freshly cooked meal for lunch. All the items were freshly prepared and we got an iced tea for free as they were running a promotion. If you are in for a hungry meal, this is a good option.

Yelp
What a hidden gem here in Las Vegas! We dined here last night and the service was amazing and the food was amazing as well. Cucumber salad was very refreshing and the coconut shrimp melted in your mouth! We asked our server, Amy to surprise us with the appetizers and they did not disappoint! She also sent out the Herbal salad, it was perfect and had such a balanced sweet crunch! Everyone else in our party had the Panang Curry, one of the best we've had. I personally had the drunken noodles which are my go to at any Thai restaurant and this is my favorite by far. We will be back!

Yelp
Good Vegetarian -friendly Thai food with good service and humongous quantity!! Loved both the Tom Yum Soup and Penang Curry (Ordered Spice level: 8 - Next time order level: 6)

Yelp
I stopped by this place for dinner on a weekday and the place was not busy, table was easy to get. I ordered Thai iced tea, vegetarian combo appetizer, cashew tofu, and fried rice with curry. Vegetarian combo appetizer was my fav one. It comes with portions of spring roll, fried crispy spinach, fried sweet potato, tofu fried tods, and fried eggplant. This combo itself will be quite filling for a person with normal diet. My fav was the spinach and the eggplant. I only wish if after frying these things the chef could dap them with a paper to absorb some oil. I found the cashew tofu below average. Not very flavorful by itself, but I ordered some chili sauce and then it tasted ok. I wouldn't recommend this dish. Since most of the other dishes came with baby corn but not this, I asked the server if I can get some baby corn in my cashew tofu. While he agreed to do that and put very generous amount of baby corn in it, I later realized I was charged extra for this corn. I wish if the server had told me that upfront. Finally the fried rice with curry was average too, on top of being average fried rice, I believe there are some spices in it which makes you believe it's a curry fried rice. The Thai iced tea has huge portion and is still good. Hence I feel this place might have good appetizers and drinks but not for entrees.

Yelp
Fantastic food great portions and perfect service. Must go it's not close to the strip but worth it

Yelp
This authentic restaurant is great for the family and double dates. The food and service is perfect. Be sure to get the Thai coffee and their staple: Thai Tea.

Yelp
Thai food here is AMAZING!!! Visited this restaurant during the CIMA convention and I'm so happy we landed here. The food was so delicious that between three people, we ordered four entrees and finished everything! A+ food and service was great. Go check them out!

Yelp
1st time I tried this restaurant in 10+ years because its so far from my house. Deliver service companies don't deliver it. Well I'm glad I call for pick up order. My friend recommended me to tried it. Food is authentic. Spicy Basil beef is the best in town. Every Thai restaurant I go to I usually order this dish. If this dish is good most of the time everything else is good. I ordered 3 different kind of spicy holy basil and Pork stew noodles. My husband ordered vegetarian Pad See Ewe, he loved it. The owner also have Thai Restaurant in Thailand. I'm Thai and living in Vegas for 40+ yrs. I've tried so many Thai restaurants in town. I highly recommend this place. Large selection for vegetarian and Vegan.

Yelp
Love it. Been many times. Best panang curry. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I have been. Coming to Komol's for many years. I used to go every time I was in Vegas. The last few years Vegas has not been on my travel destination map. On a recent soccer tournament trip it was late and we needed some dinner. We wanted something besides burgers and I had a sudden inspiration. A few minutes later we were seated and ordering even though they were closing in 20 minutes. The staff was so nice and made certain we had everything we needed. The food was delivered in record time exactly as ordered. And just as I remembered, the beef sauté with peanut sauce was so tender and flavorful. Each entree was amazing. And the prices are so reasonable. I highly recommend you get off the strip and venture over to Komol. They have been doing it right for well over a decade.
google avatar

Jeff B.

Yelp
Komol is our favorite Thai restaurant in Las Vegas! Best Penang we've ever had big vegetarian selection!

Neelam M.

Yelp
Worst Thai food I have eaten in my life and I wet a lot of it. We were around neighborhood and saw this place, figured we try it. They managed to mess up pad see ew, how? Curry fried rice was TERRIBLE and egg rolls were soggy. Service was okay, slow. We were only customers and staff was busy eating or chatting.
google avatar

Binzer B.

Yelp
Wonderful Thai food in a family owned setting for almost 40 years. Fairly priced, large portions and perfectly "spiced"...when they ask you how spicy 1-10 it actually feels like what you ask for. Many Thai restaurants ask but the reality is you get a 1 OR a 10 regardless. The mango and sticky rice is the best in town.
google avatar

Casey K.

Yelp
We went here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! The food was good and reasonably priced, and I love how many vegetarian options there were. Customer service is also on point, we had our 3 year old with us and he was having some Big Feelings, and our amazing server went above and beyond to make sure he left with a smile. Can't wait to go back during the week for the lunch special!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
After watching " The game changers" " what the health" and " Forks over knives" my friends had decided to go Vegan and start their plant based health transformation journey .. yay!!! People always said being vegan:plantbased is expensive and missing out .. but no check this place out! They got everything extensive menu and the curry is delicious. Pad see ew was oily and fried rice is alright but it's only $7.95 for lunch special so .. can't complain! It also comes with egg roll and salad or soup! Simply winning! I want to go back n try more curry!!!

Pratibha A.

Yelp
Would a 10/10 recommend this place. The lady was lovely and food was really good. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.

Irene P.

Yelp
Best Thai food ever I ever tasted The service is little slow but only because they are so busy. Got everything in medium spice and needed more water to get through the food Panang was very creamy. Pad Thai was sweet and to die for. Everything was perfect

A. H.

Yelp
I must say goodbye to Komol after a decade. Today I got the fresh spring rolls. They added fried Tofu, and doubled the price. No more mint. Not remotely what they used to be. And the Herbal Salad, sloppy wet. Very bad attitude from the lady who took my money. You can't change things and treat us like we're stupid after being a customer for ten years. $35 for ordinary.
google avatar

Danielle G.

Yelp
While our waitress was so nice, she was the only server there and getting our order taken or food delivered together seemed like a challenge. She also forgot one of our orders so one of the people at our table never received food. She apologized profusely and I'm guessing it was because they are understaffed. Food was okay, my curry was okay. The lemon chicken was good. Pad Thai was good. The fried rice was quite greasy and had a strange taste. The fresh spring rolls were excellent. They also ran out of beer, the guys at our table each ordered a beer, one person asked for a second and we were informed they were out of beer. There was only three tables occupied, so I'm not sure why they were out if food. I hate leaving subpar reviews. I think it's mostly due to understaffing and Covid throwing a wrench in things.
google avatar

Jahnavi M.

Yelp
The food was tasteless. No flavour except for spicy. The service was very slow. We ordered food with spice levels 4 and 7, but both dishes tasted the same. When mentioned it, they said both dishes spice levels are different.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
Price: I think the price is very reasonable dishes averaged out between $10 and 15. Food: I ordered the veggie combination appetizer platter. I loved the variety and the crispness. it came with an assortment of fried veggies including Chinese broccoli, sweet potato, eggplant and tofu. The sweet potato was undercooked though. I also ordered fried rice with curry which had good flavors. The last dish was tofu with cashew served with rice. This dish was disappointing. I had one cashew that left a bad taste in my mouth and the flavors were too bland. Service: good service the waiter was attentive and friendly but I was a little surprised when he didn't give us chopsticks at first.

Deepti A.

Yelp
Very warm, caring and loving hospitality. We came on the 24th night and found the food and service extremely excellent. We came on 25 the christmas morning again for the brunch. The lady serving us was extremely helpful and gave her best service to us. The ambience was really pretty according to christmas vibes, very cozy and warm too. I wish i could get 10 stars to the lady serving. Recommend if youre in Vegas!!!!

Yelp
Thanks to a friends recommendation, when my girlfriend asked what I wanted for dinner and I was craving some Thai food, Komol Restaurant was the first place that comes to mind. Komol Restaurant isn't located in an area of Las Vegas that is made for tourists and that means not waiting an hour for a table for some of the best food you are going to eat. We stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday night and the place had plenty of spaced out seating for us. The server we had was friendly and quick to take orders as well. The menu here is a mixture of all the Thai favourites you would expect along with a good portion of vegetarian and vegan options as well which is super cool. I was heavily in the mood for a rice based dish so I ended up ordering the Thai style friend rice combination plate with beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp and let me tell you, this plate was as full as it could get for only like $13. The food was served super hot, super flavourful, and was absolutely delicious from first bite to last. Overall, Komol Restaurant is definitely one of my favourite Thai restaurants in the city. The restaurant itself was comfortable, the staff was great, and did I mention how dang good the food was? Check this place out for yourself, you won't regret it!
google avatar

Andrea V.

Yelp
Is this the best Thai food in Vegas? I don't know. Is it damn good Thai food with an entire vegan/vegetarian menu? Heck, yeah! I take people here pretty much every time I go to Vegas. Cause it's that good. On my last trip, it was so good, we went twice! (I was the only one ordering vegan food, but the non-veg food got raving reviews as well.) The entryway is covered in #1 Thai in Vegas awards from numerous organizations, so don't just take my word for it. And an update from my last review, they now ask for mild, medium, or hot instead of a number scale. Medium or mild with extra chili sauce on the side seemed perfect. Oh yeah, that chili sauce? It's homemade and extra delish!

S G.

Yelp
I've lived in Vegas for over 30 years and this had been my favorite Thai restaurant. The new owner, however, has made terrible choices when it comes to the customer. The menu is significantly smaller than before. Most of the dishes I would order are no longer available. I've been going to this restaurant since I was a kid but won't recommend it to anyone any longer.
google avatar

Tara G.

Yelp
Great food! I loved the vegan options! Can't wait to go back. I really enjoyed our older gentleman waiter. He was so sweet!
google avatar

Yelp
Great lunch. Clean restaurant with good service. Be careful on your hot scale, a six is very spicy. Good lunch menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas, which is why I am a thirty-year customer. The Tom Kha is the best I've had anywhere. Tried a new item today, Chili Basil Stew Pork. Outstanding. Other favorites of mine are Green Curry, Mint Chicken and Garlic Pork. The menu is extensive, many more nice choices besides my favorites mentioned here are available. Some examples include Sea Bass, Duck, Pineapple Fried Rice and an extensive vegetarian section. Lots of fresh ingredients used and dishes made from scratch set them apart.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Absolutely the best Thai food in Vegas. We were greeted and served by Amy who is such an outstanding server. She was so polite and accommodating. The pad Thai was delicious and the summer spring rolls. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Linesh M.

Yelp
We had the lunch special menu with one pad thai and one yellow curry. They were served with salad and one spring roll. The salad and spring roll and was great and so was the yellow curry. The pad thai was a little below great! The additional sauces served were super awesome and was a welcome addition! The ambience is very good and place is well made overall. The dishes on which food was served were cute shaped! Will be back for more!

Lorrie V.

Yelp
Service was friendly, prompt and polite. Food is made to order, very fresh!! Definitely coming back again when I'm in town!

Yelp
People that works in this restaurant is really nice and most important is the food, it is really good and authentic. We ordered green curry and coconut soup and it was awesome! I would recommend this place to a friend and family!

Yelp
Always great food and service. Prices are good too. My go to is the Garlic Chicken which is way better here than the other restaurants I've tried
google avatar

Shayla B.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant 3 to 4 different times the food was great so I decided to have my birthday dinner here. I was so embarrassed because midway through the dinner a giant roach was climbing on the wall above us, and we sat directly next to the kitchen. My hole party immediately stopped eating and got up and just wanted the bill. We pointed the roach out to both the server and manager who apologized then brought us our bill that was well over 300 because of how many people there was. I was shocked that it was still full price after what had just happened. My hole birthday was ruined and now every time I invite my friends and family anywhere for dinner they bring that up and laugh. Im the laughing stock for anyones dinner plans and almost nobody comes anymore. I have never been back to this restaurant.

Yelp
Delicious noodles, tasty spring rolls in a family-style serene environment. Definitely a Las Vegas fav.
