NYC’s New Restaurant Openings

"Kraam—which means indigo in Thai—is in Nomad, and you can get a dish with both grilled and raw razor clams swimming in a green and herby Thai chimichurri. The purple-ish restaurant has light fixtures that look like golden mushrooms, and a sizable wine and cocktail program to pair with your dinner." - will hartman

Personal favorite is the beef cheek curry, can’t believe how tender and savory it is! Recommend to those who are curious how it tastes like. Another must try is the soft shell crab curry with noodles, perfect for summer. I like the vibe and actually all the food there. Had a fun time with my friends there. Staff is nice. My 10/10 Thai in NYC!

Google

I tried KRAAM as it came highly recommended and must say it was a 10. Food , presentation, ambience and service every little is done to perfection. They have very very good vegetarian options as well. Thai green curry was fresh and looked perfect 🤩. The chive sticks and sweet chilli tofu were too too good. The drinks 🍹 were good and not sweet. It’s on my list

Amazing Thai Fusion in NY The food was very tasty and felt truly Thai. Every dish was full of flavor. The service was kind and fast. The place looked nice and had a cozy feeling. A great spot if you love Thai food with a fun twist. Highly recommend!

Google
Incredible food, service, and ambience. The Choo Chee butterflied branzino was a perfect balance of hearty, spicy, and a bit sweet from the coconut milk; the beef cheek from the massaman curry was so tender and fell apart as soon as fork and knife touched it; and the summer seasonal lobster salad was the perfect acidic complement to cut through the heaviness of the curries. Service was super attentive; our server was ready to refill our waters and even offered to take photos for my party! The decor/ambience is so beautifully polished and upscale; perfect for date night, corporate events, or girls’ night out.

Came here for the restaurant week $30 lunch special which included an appetizer and main. I've been here before and absolutely love their Khao Soi chicken leg (moist and tender) in a cozy non spicy green curry broth and crunchy noodle topping. Their chive cake and croquette appetizers were also amazing! For restaurant week, I had their chili steamed wontons and crispy pork belly and string beans with a side of white rice. Overall these were good - the light appetizer balanced out the heavy and generous portioned main. Atmosphere is modern, chic, and great place to catch up. Staff is friendly. Summer Restaurant Week returned late July and ran three weeks ending August 17th. However many places are continuing it till the end of the month and into September. Kraam Thai’s menu was appealing. I ate there last week. Located in the Flatiron District, this restaurant was pretty. Limited outdoor seating but an interior that has flowers, foliage, overhead fans and lovely seating. It almost felt colonial. What did I choose? To begin, I had the Chili Prawns Wonton served in a spicy lime sauce. The chicken and prawns were tasty combination and were filling. The broad rice noodles with Peking Duck were silky and seeped in flavor that I have been dreaming about them all week. Normally I don’t order a drink but the mocktail sounded interesting. Lychee, passion fruit and coconut was not in my opinion a good combination. What I should have had was the mango mojito. Several customers had ordered it. Service was fine and Joshua had I’ll Ed in Thailand and was familiar with the cuisine. The restroom is downstairs and it is such a lovely well decorated large space to freshen up. Summer Restaurant Week here runs through the end of this month so I hope I can go again. I hope to have the corn ribs and the duck noodles. Let’s not forget the mango mojito!

Brunch at KRAAM was such a treat! The restaurant’s decor is beautifully done- charming and thoughtfully styled. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was fantastic! Both the choo chee branzino and massaman curry beef were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor and beautifully presented. Plus, the portions were very generous! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Kraam Thai is nestled in Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood. The decor was chic and the service was outstanding. Standout appetizers include the Koi Tuna, a Thai-style yellowfin tuna tartare on lettuce cups garnished with crispy shallots and toasted rice. For mains, the pad Thai and pad kee mao were savory and delicious. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Food 4/5 Service 4.5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Value 4/5 We celebrated a birthday here with a large party of 20+ people, taking up the inner dining room. This is definitely an aesthetically pleasing restaurant, and it's rare that I leave a pre-fixe menu feeling actually full, so major props for that! The appetizers were generally subpar, with the exception of the Crispy Chive Sticks which were definitely the favorite from that section. Overall, my takeaway is that if you order the right things, you'll have a great experience here! The highlights was def the soft shell crab and crab fried rice. What we tried: Appetizers: Crispy Chive Sticks: 4.5/5 - Our top pick from the apps! Grilled Squid Salad: 3/5 - A bit too much cilantro for my taste. Prawn Satay: 3/5 - Mediocre, though the prawn was decently meaty. Grilled Sweet Corn with Papaya Salad: 3.5/5 - On the spicier side but still tasty. Sweet Chili Tofu: 2/5 - My least favorite; the tofu was too hard and firm. Entrees Pad Eggplant and Tofu: 2/5 - I'd probably skip anything with tofu here. Chicken Roasted Market Vegetables Green Curry: 2.5/5 - Didn't really wow me; pretty basic. Braised Beef Massaman Curry: 4/5 - This dish was great, but honestly, the potatoes were the trurock star! Crispy Soft Shell Crab: 4.5/5 - This definitely stood out and was probably the favorite thing we got from the entrees! Choo Chee Branzino: 4/5 - Yummy branzino, perfectly cooked. Crab Volcanic Egg Fried Rice: 4.5/5 - I'm always a big fan of Thai crab fried rice, and they certainly didn't disappoint. Desserts Matcha Yuzu Cheesecake: 5/5 - Loved, loved the bold yuzu flavors, and the cheesecake wasn't heavy at all! Mango Sticky Rice: 4.5/5 - The sticky rice with mango was perfect with the coconut cream.

Yelp
The good is that it is located a couple of blocks down from the Empire State Building, so you can avoid the tourist crowds and take in the city. Outdoor seating is also available. Our group RSVP'd before attending. The service was attentive, and we were seated promptly upon arrival. However, the space is linear, so there are few seating options for multiple groups. Now the food & the bad, the calamari was horrible. It was definitely not fresh. Tasted like it was frozen and overcooked, literally tasted like old rubber bands. The crab volcanic egg fried rice was magnificent with a healthy clump of crab meat. Other items on the table included pork and seafood, no complaints from the other members at the table.

Yelp
@foodie_starry Dive into a culinary surprise at this place! Their winter special, Peking Duck Salad, is a masterpiece of flavors, blending succulent duck with Thai spices and pops of pomegranate--simply stunning! While there, don't miss the Prawn Satay for a fresh twist or indulge in the Lobster Tail KAREE, a curry delight that's perfect with rice. For fish lovers, the Pla Yang offers a heavenly taste of grilled sea bass that's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Complete your meal with their unique Jasmine Rice and a sweet end of Matcha Yuzu Cheesecake, even if it's a tad tart for some. Whether it's a date night or a solo treat, KRAAM's ambiance and exquisite dishes promise a memorable dining experience. Get there before these seasonal delights disappear!

Yelp
Found Kraam Thai Kitchen via yelp. Visited back in Sep'24. Two of us ordered: confit chicken khao soi $25 chicken pad see ew $22 Flavors were good. Portions were on the smaller side. So value gets docked a star. Nice ambiance inside.

Yelp
Walked in on a weekday evening and there were many open tables to sit at. The restaurant slowly filled throughout the night, but I truly believe Kraam is a hidden gem that I could see potentially attracting crowds ala Pranakhon and Mitr. First of all, the restaurant is adorable. Beautifully decorated, with tall ceilings and a gorgeous bar. The volume is not too loud, so it would be a great spot for a date night. The menu was incredibly intriguing to me, far more expansive than your typical Thai fare. We didn't order drinks, but the Happy Hour menu seems like a great deal. We started with a grilled sweet corn salad, which is basically papaya salad with some corn on top. Beware, this dish is very spicy!! My friend and I were almost crying eating it, but we prevailed and eventually the spice subsided. Solid papaya salad. Next, we got the drunken kee mao with tofu. This dish was very good, topped with lightly fried thai basil. No notes. We were really impressed by the choo chee, which is butterflied and deep fried branzino fillet in a choo chee curry (similar to red curry). The presentation was beautiful and the curry was delicious. The fry on the fish was pretty good, although my one complaint would be that it was slightly overfried and hard to bite through at times. For dessert, we ordered a poached banana in warm coconut milk, which was the cherry on top of a lovely meal. This dessert was so comforting and sweet, perfect for a cold NYC night. It's topped with more of the grilled sweet corn, that we started with in the papaya salad. The poached banana was so soft and the flavors were perfect with the sweet and creamy coconut milk. Love an asian dessert soup.

Yelp
Came here for the weekday lunch specials. My friend and I ordered different things so we could taste each other dishes and everything was so good! The lunch special came out to $25/$21 that included the chive sticks and croquettes, Khao Soi with chicken amd tofu green curry with a side of white rice. Both curries were not spicy and the broth was rich and creamy. The chicken leg in my Khao Soi was so tender and moist! Staff were quick and friendly. Beautiful atmosphere so will definitely be back!

Yelp

Yelp
We came for lunch on a Wednesday and got the lunch special. We got pad see ew with shrimp and it came with a side so we got the curry croquette. The portions were quite small but it's definitely a nicer Thai place so I wasn't too surprised. The food was delicious! The noodles were really good and the croquette was very fresh. The interior is very nicely decorated and so cute. Loved the plates and silverware too. It's a cute spot to grab a nice lunch or even a dinner too.
google avatar

Samantha C.

Yelp
Definitely in my curry era. It doesn't even matter what type of curry right now, but Thai curry is some of the best. And when there is a lunch special that features Thai curry I have to jump on it. Kraam Thai Kitchen is perfect for the area. The interior itself is bright. Since it was a nice day we say closer to the opened front of the the restaurant. I mentioned a lunch special before and it was a good one. It came with an appetizer and a main. I got the kale salad as my starter and the peanut dressing was exactly what I love about Thai cuisine. So many strong and delicious flavors in the dressing alone. My mane was the crispy confit khao soi curry. It was so yummy and the portion was HUGE.

Yelp
Walked in around 6pm on a Thursday evening and was able to easily get a table for two without a reservation. The place was decorated really nicely and I enjoyed the vibes of the place. I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and it was pretty good. Could be a little bit spicier though. I liked that they added fried basil leaves to the dish. It added a difference in texture that made it fun to eat. Would come back to try their other dishes!
google avatar

Yelp
Walked into this beautiful room. I was welcomed by 3 staff with a smile and promptly seated for a fairly busy luncheon. Great menu, friendly service - Ty Binh and Josh for your hospitality. I took suggestions from server Josh. Excellllllent food with flavors and exquisite presentation. Definetely going back w friends. Nice ambiance of Kraam/indigo colors- so soothing to eyes.

Yelp

Yelp
I didn't get to try the actual food here but sat at the bar to try a drink. I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice cocktail and it tasted more like a mango lassi with coconut topping. I still really loved the drink and would love to come back here to try more cocktails and dishes!

Yelp
If you really like to have a good Thai food in Manhattan , you should go check out Kraam , a newly opened Thai restaurant in Nomad Manhattan! The food at Kraam absolutely blew my mind! Each dish was so flavorful, despite the small portions. We started with the Hoii Yang - bursting with spicy chili lime sauce and umeshu infusion, it was an explosion of taste. The Muek Yang, a baby squid with spicy chili garlic lime sauce paired with Asian pear, is an absolute must-try! For the entrée, we had the Neu Yang - the beef was incredibly tender and delicious. This spot has quickly become one of my favorite Thai places in Manhattan. They also have an impressive selection of cocktails and wine. The ambiance at Kraam is cozy and elegant, making it a perfect spot for a date or a casual dinner. Plus, the manager and staff are super friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience. we orderded -Muek Yang -Hoii Yang -Kang som -Neu Yang -Pad eggplant -Lump crab -mango sticky rice -ice cream/sorbet -Drinks : White samui and purple Phuket If you're in the area, you HAVE to check this place out! Yelp
First of all this is so aesthetically upscale. Great place for a date. super fancier than anticipated. Pad thai was delicious and filled me up. Curry was on the saltier side (not sweet) but very enjoyable and filling. Papaya salad was delicious, corn was super sweet. Drip coffee was fun you can pour yourself, it was good too. I would skip the mango sticky rice, wasn't great. Overall food was pretty tasty, but lost points for dessert. Service was so great and kind. Fast too. The bench seats we were sat at had a rattan bench back which stabbed me a couple times-- sorta uncomfy. I'd rate 4.5 but will point down for those two minor things. Plus There are just too many great places in nyc to compare to

Yelp
Wow what an incredible find! My partner and I were wandering 5th street and came across the elegant exterior of Kraam and decided to try their elevated Thai food without knowing too much about them, we were so pleasantly surprised. Kraam has only been open 7 months when we stepped in but their menu has so much variety from starters to mains including different types of meats, noodle, and rice dishes, and a fantastic cocktail menu. I was yearning for mango sticky rice but it wasn't in season; thank goodness Kraam had a mango sticky rice cocktail that was sake based and surprisingly fulfilled my need Our server Nikki seated us promptly and offered really tailored descriptions of the entrees we wanted to try, as well as spot on recommendations for a starter. We started with the baby squid salad that had ample amounts of squid topped with an apple/pear salad that has a strong spicy kick, definitely opened dup our taste buds for our entrées. The highlight was the Choo Chee dish which consisted of a large portion of fileted branzino that was crusted perfectly to add a fresh crunch. The Choo Chee curry was a surprisingly sweet and coconut-y curry that paired perfectly with the crusted fish and a side of jasmine rice. We also had to get the drunken noodle Pad Kee Mao and it definitely had the right blend of sweet savory flavors in a well sized portion. The dessert menu was equally as appetizing, we chose the matcha yuzu cheesecake which was lighter than the normal american cheese cake but had citrus flavors of the yuzu that was complimented by a yuzu ice cream scoop. A well constructed lighter way to end the meal. We also found out that our awesome server Nikki also made a few of the items on the dessert menu which I thought is really authentic to include the Thai inspirations of the restaurant employees. We will definitely be returning for the restaurants welcome atmosphere, elegant ambiance, and its ever changing high quality and authentic menu offerings.

Yelp
This place is a gem! The food is delicious, the interior is cute, and the servers were nice. We got tofu and tuna tartare to start. The tuna was exceptional! We got noodle dishes and soups for mains. All of them were stellar. I will definitely be back here

Yelp
Pleasant Thai restaurant with decent food and good service. Came in for brunch. Not cheap. Portions were not big, but ok . The atmosphere is also very pleasant

Yelp
I had walked past Kraam Thai Kitchen several times when I was in the neighborhood, and I decided to finally try it during a recent NYC trip. I went for dinner, and I found the staff to be welcoming and attentive. It's a stylish restaurant, and while I was dining solo, I could see this place being a great date spot or good for a group. I started with one of their non-alcoholic beverages (the Purple Phuket), which was a refreshing grape juice spritzer that was not overly sweet. I'm generally a Ka Prow fan, and I enjoyed their version with minced chicken (though I'm used to this dish being served with a fried egg rather than the boiled egg included in this meal). Given how much I enjoyed my first visit, I would try this restaurant again!
google avatar

Jacqueline N.

Yelp
first of all, who didn't give this place 5stars? that's outrageous. I feel like so many of my best dining experiences are me randomly trying a place and this is absolutely one of them. I was a little hesitant at first because I hate the idea of "upscale" asian food but I cannot sing the praises of this place enough!!! it's a very cute restaurant with the sweetest, efficient staff. our server recommended the ribeye garlic fried rice and the choo chee branzino and OMG!!! it's been a week and I still think about it. the flavors meld PERFECTLY together. I wish I stopped to take pics before inhaling the food because I want to reminisce on how great the food was.
google avatar

Alice W.

Yelp
We ordered a Peking duck salad, hakaido scallop sashimi, beef cheek curry and soft shell crab. Everything we ordered was delicious. We would like to try their lunch and happy hour specials next time. Great for groups and romantic lunch or dinner dates. The staff are polite and attentive.
google avatar

Jennie A.

Yelp
We have been to Kraam twice and the service and food were excellent both times. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and not too loud, even when most tables are full. I would recommend the chive sticks to start (they taste just like the ones we had in Thailand). For entrees, the pad kee mao is very good, but you can get good pad kee mao at many places. The real stars here are the beef fried rice and the khao soi. I am usually not excited by fried rice, but this dish had so much flavor and the spicy tamarind sauce was a great addition. The meat was cooked perfectly, each bite was fantastic and had wonderful texture. The khao soi is equally excellent and is in our top 3 in NYC. The only extremely minor comment I would make is that I prefer pickled mustard greens rather than small diced pickles in khao soi, but having looked for pickled mustard greens in stores myself, I know they are hard to find. Then portions are decently sized and the quality matches the price. Overall a superb spot for a sensational meal, we will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Hubby brought me here for lunch on one of his business trips - didn't think much of it as I thought it was one of the usual casual restaurants. As I arrived at the place, my first impression was "oh this is nice!". The restaurant is nicely decorated and elegant. We came at about 2pm, so lunch crowd was gone and the place was almost empty. Sat down and hubby ordered his fave salad first - grilled corn and papaya salad. It was very refreshing. Cleaned out the plate like I haven't eaten for a week. I ordered the tom yum talay and kang som next. The tom yam came with grilled prawns and normal prawns with some vegetables and squids in it. The grilled prawns was something new for me but I like it. The soup really hit the spot - it was a perfect balance of sweet, sour and savory. Then came the kang som - crispy fried branzino with a sweet and sour sauce. It was perfect! Very well seasoned and paired well the sauce. The fish was cut into bite size pieces and deboned so it was easy to eat. We cleaned out both dishes as well. We had the mango sticky rice for dessert. It had coconut shavings in it, which I didn't quite like honestly but the sticky rice and mango was ok. Would I come back here again ..? 100% yes!

Yelp
Kraam Thai Kitchen was an enjoyable meal. From the moment you enter, you are welcomed by a cordial host and an attentive wait staff. The restaurant is not large, but it is decorated in a way that is calming and aesthetically pleasing. My Thai Iced Tea was milky, sweet, had the perfect mixture of tea, and recommended. I have to highly commend Kraam's restroom appearance. It was pristine, had a Thai themed decor, and it says A LOT about their attention to detail throughout the rest of the business. I selected the Fall Prix-Fixe Menu and it was a good choice. I started with the Hoi Yang (seared hokkaido scallop, crispy shallot, mint, chili jam, cherry tomato infused umeshu, and spicy chili lime sauce). This dish was delicious and surprisingly...and pleasantly...SPICY. The presentation was exceptional and a recommended starter. My entree was the Soft Shell Crab Phong Karee (crispy soft shell crabs on top of stir-fried egg, curry powder, scallions, onion, celery, and milk). The dish was flavorful and the white rice mixed well with the seasoning. The Sweet Mango & Coconut Sticky Rice dessert was AMAZING! My goodness.... every spoonful of rice was sweet, evenly infused with the delicious coconut, and every piece of mango accompanied the rice like a happy piggyback rider. The other item we ordered was the Chicken Curry Tart starter (savory curried potato, minced chicken, sweet radish, caramelized onion, and vegetable relish). Once again, this dish had an appealing presentation and thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend Kraam and am certain that you'll enjoy a charming and flavorsome meal.

Yelp
Cute, clean and modern Thai restaurant on 5th ave. We were able to walk in for dinner without a wait. I got the crab egg volcano fried rice which was just as eggy as it sounds. The rice was covered on top with a layer of soft egg and chunks of crab. We shared a mango sticky rice for dessert & thought the mango was perfectly ripe for the dish. Overall great experience for dinner, but on the pricier side of Thai restaurants.
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
At 8:30 last night, service was very spotty ( only 5 tables eating and had to chase the waiters ) and disappointing food. Not sure they want to be a great Thai restaurant as promoted and needed in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
We all ordered the pad Thai and it was pretty good. The crispy tofu was delicious but I thought the noodles were kind of oily. The service was excellent! I will return and try a spicier dish next time. Also, sitting near the front would probably be a wonderful dining experience due to the natural light.

Yelp
First time having food from this establishment and oh boy, the food is Delicious!!!!! I ordered the Pad See Eew with chicken. I would definitely order again!!!!

Yelp
Best Thai in nyc I've had to date - better than soothr or Thai villa !!!! So flavorful and good - my fav takeout spot

Sydney K.

Yelp
Had such a delicious meal at Kraam, my friend and I came on a Tuesday at 7 pm so it wasn't crowded and we were seated and attended to right away. The overall decor and vibe was elegant but not stuffy which I liked. I started out with the Ginger Yuzu Mojito which was good but not very strong flavor or alcohol wise. My friend got a beer. I got the pad see eew with chicken which was delicious. The noodles were so tender and yummy and the chicken was well dispersed and flavored nicely. My friend got the green curry and said it was also good! I do with the pad see eew was slightly more flavorful so I asked for soy sauce which came in a very tiny dish. Overall a great meal although I wish the cocktail was a bit stronger and the soy sauce more plentiful - although that could just be my own preference lol.

Yelp
Kraam is a new Thai restaurant on Fifth Avenue, right next door to Cafe Carmellini. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. The food is extremely flavorful as well with a small but solid wine list.
google avatar

Bansri P.

Yelp
INCREDIBLE new Thai spot near Midtown! The interior decor is elegant and elevated. The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, including the pad thai, green curry, and pad eggplant. The green curry was unique and had a great variety of fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. Only recommendation is we would have liked to see more green curry with this and it should come with a side of rice. The service was quick. Despite only being open for ~2 months, our experience was excellent and I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Came here on a Sat for lunch and was able to grab a table for 2 walking in. The venue is medium sized with a good amount of tables for groups as well as tables of 2. For food I would recommend the ribeye garlic fried rice! It's big enough to share among 2 people and it's so good. The meat is cooked perfectly tender.
google avatar

Raysa C.

Yelp
Great elevated Thai restaurant amazing dishes! Loved the prawn Satay and the ribeye with rice was very soft and delicious! also i highly recommend the desert! it was amazing loved that coconut ice cream with the lava cake!!

Yelp
I got home from the city after midnight and had to write a review for this gem of a restaurant. It was perfect in so many ways. First, of course, is the menu. It offers a variety of Thai dishes to suit any taste or mood. The presentation was beautiful, but the dishes were incredibly tasty. Each one was prepared with a little artful twist. The atmosphere is quietly elegant, but really cool. And the only thing to equal the food was the waitstaff. They were the warmest, genuinely friendly group of people. And incredibly attentive. At one point I dropped my fork. Within a second our waiter appeared with a new one. I found this restaurant randomly online and now it's my new favorite restaurant.

Yelp
They recently opened about 2 weeks ago or so. The interior here is so pretty! The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. No cake cutting fee. Everything we ordered and tried was delicious. Must gets are: any of the fish, mango sticky rice, the beef cheek curry, the tuna tartare, & one of each ice cream. The cocktails here are standard pricing at $17 a pop. This place is big enough for group dinners. My friends and I already agreed that we'd be back in the near future to try other items on the menu. It's a bit of a hidden gem since it's so new but I anticipate this place to get very popular.
google avatar

Sara H.

Yelp
The interior is very pretty and the backroom has a more intimate vibe which I was not expecting. We came right when happy hour was ending, but the waitress was nice enough to come by to let us know and let us get one order in! We also got the soft shell crab salad, pad thai with shrimp and khao soi. The salad was so so refreshing and the shrimp that came with the pad thai were super plump. The khao soi comes with fried noodles on top and noodles in the curry sauce (which we did not know and the waitress kindly explained). The entree portions are big and we ended up taking leftovers home!

Yelp
Btw did you know kraam means indigo in thai? @kraam.nyc serves up modern takes on classic dishes - every dish I had truly blew my mind. The great ingredients, large servings, and vibrant flavors shocked me! I would 100% recommend this - don't forget to bookmark for your next trip to nyc!
google avatar

Birdie P.

Yelp
We had the shrimp pad Thai, papaya salad, and chicken Kee Mao!! I loved how they put slices of corn I. Their papaya salad -- never had papaya salad like that. Their papaya salad has more of a kick than other papaya salads I've had in the past. And they perfectly cooked the shrimp in the pad Thai so that it was translucent but not rubbery!
google avatar

Tejas K.

Yelp
Kraam is a hidden gem and one of my favorite Thai spots in NYC!! Incredible vibe, great food and friendly staff. We arrived a few minutes before close and were welcomed with warm arms. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Liked this place so much that I'm rating it both in Google and Yelp. Such an amazing Thai restaurant the food was delicious!! The mango sticky rice drink is great and so is the dessert. I had the Khao Soi, maybe the best one I've had in the city, the portion is HUGE and the chicken falls off the bone. My friend had the branzino and loved it. The chive sticks are soooooo yummy and the corn and papaya salad was also fire. Overall loved this place and it was not crowded like other popular places.

Went to Kraam for a solo lunch! I ordered the pad thai with tofu - and chive sticks. Everything tasted like good but rushed to come together. The lime I got was dry and food was very salty. Overall the service was really good.

Yelp
I loved the pad kee mao with tofu - spicy and herbaceous, with bouncy noodles and some crispy veg to go along with it. Prices were also reasonable at $21 for a right-sized portion.

Yelp
Phenomenal food!! Expensive but great portion sizes (lots of food) and the flavor is amazing. Slightly upscale Thai food with phenomenal service.

Yelp
This Thai restaurant is not to be missed!!! First of all the lush atmosphere and the amazing drinks to start- try the mango sticky rice sake drink!! Then the food- the beef massaman curry is amazing- with potatoes so thinly sliced!! The soft shell crab dish on top of a bed of crispy kale! The green vegetable curry- and the fresh sliced off the cob corn!! I can't say enough nice things about this place. Run, don't walk here!! Service was also lovely!

Yelp
I have never reviewed any restaurant before, so this is my first review - but my husband and I had dinner on Friday night and it was so good I had to tell others! We were seated at a cozy table in the back corner, which was an amazing place to feel the great energy of the location and see the beauty of the space. We ordered Khao Soi, black pepper ribeye, crispy rice pork sausage, and Koi tuna - everything was DELICIOUS, with great flavors and delightful presentation. The food paired perfectly with Singha beer! Definitely strongly recommend and will come back very soon!!!
