Where else in Manhattan can you watch a hot donut get cooked and glazed then eat it off the line? Krispy Kreme might be a chain, but their hot glazed donuts can’t be beat! I am not a fan of donuts, but a hot fresh one just melts in my mouth. If you are looking for a fresh delectable treat, swing in and get a hot glazed donut, ask for one right off the line!

We enjoyed the extremely fresh doughnuts. The employee told us if we waited a minute she would make sure to give us the fresh ones. And gosh, they were amazing! 😻 We were lucky to find a place to sit and eat inside the shop. The coffee was good as well.

Krispy Kreme Flagship is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan (Times Square). I like this store, which opens late and has self-service kiosks where you can place an order without having to wait in line to place one with the staff. It offers a variety of donuts and brand logo-ed souvenirs including tumblers, totes, apparels, etc. You can look through the glass wall of the kitchen area to see how the donuts are made. I live opposite of the store so I have easy access to grab a donut & coffee even in the late afternoon or at midnight. Overall, the donuts are great but it is a once in awhile thing. It would be too much of an indulgence if I were to comsume them regularly due to the HUGE amount of sugar in them. 😰

I come to this location all the time. I love that they have the hot donuts. Honestly, plain glazed donut is the best thing you’ll eat. Words cannot describe. On my recent visit I was a bit disappointed with the service. I ordered the glazed bites and the associate gave me a mixed container. When I told her this is not what I ordered, she said, well there isn’t any more plain glazed. I had to show her that there was another tray. What really annoyed me was the fact that she just gave me whatever she wanted without asking me first when I was standing right there. It won’t stop me from visiting this location. This was my first slightly negative experience here but I can’t stay away from these donuts.

I love the HOT NOW Krispy Kreme donuts! This location is very spacious with friendly service, and you can follow the process as the donuts are being made behind the glass. However there are not enough tables and chairs for more than 4 people. Otherwise I’d give 5 stars.

Krispy Kreme has some locations in the City and on Sunday I passed by this one in Times Square. Not having eaten one in years l, I decided to go in as it looked tempting. I chose the glazed doughnut which cost $2.69. Seating was available so I sat to enjoy this treat. Quite a few tourists were here enjoying their purchases. The employees were helpful and efficient. Tomorrow June 7, 2024 is National Doughnut Day. Krispy Kreme is having a special deal - if one goes in and gives their favorite flavor it is given to you free. Plus a whole box is $2 with a purchase of a regular box. Yes, you read this right. $2. Toss the diet and live it up! Sharing is wonderful with this box of fried delights.

Was very happy to see this place beside my hotel. I stumbled upon it and just happened the light was on so I got a free donut! As good as I remembered, love Krispy Kreme. It was a little busy and almost looked like a souvenir store with clothing and upstairs a few steps was multiple registers and displays of donuts. Line moved super fast and my cashier was friendly but another lady cashier wasn’t and was rude to people saying she only accepted card, but she was very annoyed people couldn’t hear her and walked up. But didn’t affect me.

Who doesn't love a Krispy Kreme donut? I visited probably the busiest one in the country, Times Square. It was packed at 11pm but line moved fast. I have only had the glazed (a classic) but this time I got the jelly too. Both great but I missed getting a hot one right off the belt. Those are THE best.

I grew up in Mississippi on the gulf coast, and hot now KK was a treat I liked forests to every Saturday morning. NYC KK was not the vibe I was looking for and the donuts weren't hot at all. But the store is n eat looking inside and they have the little paper hats and KK march that was calling to me! (Interested, don't worry! lol) No service to speak on because I ordered at a kiosk and no one greeted us when we came walked in. It was forgettable. Another review giving it to you straight no chaser! Enjoy!

Located near times square, they have the conveyor belt here, but it was being cleaned when we were coming in late. They sell plenty of donuts, and had plenty remaining in the case for display and purchase. You can order from the kiosk up front which is a lot faster and then pick up. You can also walk up and order at the other register which is much slower... Definitely for people who haven't seen it before, definitely tourist trap.

This is the best Krispy Kreme ever. It has the most delicious donuts I've ever had. There's a trick : ask for your donuts straight off the rack as they come out of the fryer. You can't miss this place, it's right on times square and there's a big graphic of the donut conveyor belt you can see a few blocks away. They run the place well, lines get long but it's efficient. I come here every time I'm in Times Square, even if it's just to share one hot doughnut late at night. Perfection.

Stopped in since my stepson loves doughnuts. The self service machines were out of service. The doughnuts I had were honestly not that great. Other locations tasted fresher. They were charging 13 for the big apple one which comes with a special box. I get it's the experience but maybe I don't want a box for something I'm about to eat. My husband had the glazed which the hot sign was on and they came out hard as a rock. When he mentioned it they replaced them at least. Overall though for tourist spots I'd recommend somewhere else instead.

This is the coolest Krispy Kreme ever! Very different than your regular Krispy Kreme shop. The inside is huge. They have a stadium seating area that you can eat your donuts at. This shop has a special big Apple red donut and they sell a bunch of souvenirs. The service is quick there's a bunch of cash registers, so the line loves really fast. Get the donuts when the hot sign is up. The hot fresh donuts are DELICIOUS!! I can eat 4. Too yummy! HAPPY DONUTING!

A few weeks ago I found myself in the Times Square area and right in front of Krispy Kreme. There were a few people inside and no queue. I went in to have a look and saw the merchandise for sale and all the doughnuts. I bought a plain glazed one and sat down there to eat it. This location is large and has efficient friendly employees. Kristy Kreme used to be popular years ago and I remember waiting in a queue on a hot July afternoon in Chelsea when the first location opened. I also saw the company join the stock exchange. A lot has changed since then although the popularity of these sweet morsels, especially among tourists, is visible to see.

Was pleasantly surprised to stopping by a Krispy Kreme, especially since they seem to be a rare sight these days. It's great to see one not just open, but thriving in full force! I'm curious if they still do the classic happy-hour deals on their donuts. What really caught my eye, though, was the NY exclusive apple donut. It's a must-try for anyone in the area looking for a unique treat that you can't get just anywhere. Definitely worth checking out if you're craving some sweet nostalgia with a local twist!

Krispy kreme, yum-o! It's always nice to stop by and grab a hot and ready. There are several registers, so you would think any line would move very quickly. However, it's like they designed this location to be as confusing as possible. The main line feeds into a large space with registers lined around the perimeter. It is not clear where to go. It's barely clear as to what the line is for. They have a fun big apple red donut, which I would've tried, except I saw the price! The one nice thing is that they have stadium seating within so that folks who want to hang out and munch on their donut (and who doesn't?) have a place to do it. There's nothing exceptional about the donuts here and by the time our hot n readys were in our hands, they weren't so hot anymore. You live and you learn.

Tourist trap indeed but if you got a sweet tooth to satisfy then you'll be right at home. 3.5 stars overall for the visit Krispy Kreme donuts are made fresh daily but you're likely getting the ones in the display case and not the ones fresh off the rolling racks. 4 stars for the sugary confections. Fresh is best. There's a line to get in and it does move pretty quickly. I waited three minutes for my group of four. The cool part was seeing the donut glazing machine in action. If you're lucky, you can score a Krispy Kreme paper bakers hat while on the line. There's a dispenser on the wall right next to it. The quickest way out is to order on the app for in store pickup but you won't be able to see the displays from that pick up spot. If you don't mind spending twenty minutes here, that's how long it'll take to wait in line, order and pay. This visit my group and I bought these: - 6 pk of mini donuts: 2 chocolate, 2 strawberry and 2 glazed (all yummy) - one regular sized blueberry glazed and stuffed lemon (blueberry was the favorite) - THE Big Apple Donut, comes in a special forest green premium cardboard box, nicely decorated with gold trim and lettering. Perfect for a gift or souvenir. The inside of this gorgeous red donut contains fresh cream, fresh baked apple bits, and the glaze tasted very good! But for a casual bite, it was expensive! Over $10+ for this one commemorative Big Apple Donut is definitely an impulse buy.

Great location. Poor service. Store was supposed to be open at 7am. Didn't open until 8:05am. No reason why there was a delay opening. A huge line outside waiting. The staff inside chatting with no urgency. Doors opened at 8:05am. We're directed to walk up the ramp and line up. Waited again until they called us to place an order. Donuts are still incredible. Service really was poor.

I saw the fresh hot donuts sign at Krispy Kreme throughout my stay, and I couldn't help it but give in. I ended up ordering a single original glazed donut that was just freshly glazed. I appreciate the guy at the door saying if you order at the kiosk it won't be as fresh compared to ordering at the counter. The guy at the counter was really accommodating when I specifically asked for a fresh donut. Y'all I've never had a fresh one my entire life until Friday night, and it was the best decision ever. It's soft, warm, sweet, and it melts in your mouth. It's worth the wait, and now that I'm spoiled I don't think I can ever order ones that have been hanging out in the case for a minute. You'll have to try it for yourself, and I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for Krispy Kreme. This is a flagship store that also sells merchandise.

In my opinion the Glazed Doughnuts tasted better than the Filled Doughnuts which usually is not the case. I did indeed go to this Krispy in Manhattan NY. I wrote a review about what I saw and purchased along with my friend and added pictures. Apparently the Yelp monitors don't think my review was sufficient . Though beats me what I missing to not satisfy the Yelp readers. In short they make the donuts fresh on an assembly line belt that customers can view.They charge too much for the Apple NY donut with red candy apple sugar on it. I noted the servers and the Knick knack gotcha items for sale . Other than taking a selfie as proof that I was there I have no idea what the Yelp echelon want from me! I'd email this but I think there is no live reply and I have no idea who I'd send it to. So here you have it take it for what it's worth.

This Krispy Kreme is located right in Times Square, and I think one of the largest, at least that I have seen. You can see it a mile away because of their giant sign on the top of the building all colorful and full of lights. When we walked in, there was a security guard by the door. I have never seen that before but with the number of tourists that visit Times Square, I can understand. There was also a little gift shop area with lots of Krispy Kreme merchandise, again I never saw it before. We don't like them that much that we needed a souvenir. It was just fun to get a donut at this location. They had a few stadium style seats inside as well. Even though their hot light was on, they were not making any donuts. In fact they were actually cleaning so there was really nothing to look at. But I do enjoy that their stores have open windows where you can see the glaze being added to the donuts as they cook. When we went up to order there were about 5-6 registers and lots of employees but none of them over eager to help us. Even though there was only 1 family in front of us, we had to wait a few minutes. They could use some assistance with customer service. The donuts are the same, if you have been to a Krispy Kreme then you know what they have. Coffee, drinks and donuts. I think at a Krispy Kreme you have to get the original glazed, its classic and the best. But they do offer other varieties of donuts. They did have a special NY donut that looked like a red apple and I believe it was filled. We opted for one of the plain glazed and a water. The donut was fresh and melts in your mouth. They are really a great option for breakfast or in our case, a late evening sweet treat. I would definitely tell people to stop in, who doesn't love a donut!

This is a flagship store so you'd think they ensure their service and location is up to par. It's not. Came here because the light was on, meaning they have warm, fresh glazed donuts. The donut was not warm, was not soft, did not melt in our mouth. Price is too much, likely because it's NYC pricing, but it's a joke when the quality is lower than my local store back home. The store was trashy, mostly in the area where they have seating. It was pretty disgusting how it doesn't look like they've picked up since it opened in the morning. We had a nice surprise on the receipt that said they had a bathroom with a code that we got for buying. Figured since bathrooms are hard to come by we'd utilize it, nope. It closed down. This store, as a flagship especially, is a joke and I wouldn't recommend it to a single person.

Please do not come here expecting quality donuts or outstanding customer service. It's honestly a tourist stop for pictures, and that part they do well. If you see a line wrapped around the corner, just come back when it's less packed. The 'Hot Now' light is always on but unfortunately, the likely hood of actually receiving a fresh made donut while visiting is slim to none. We stopped in for half a dozen donuts and two small cups of hot chocolate. Nothing is 'hot' about the hot chocolate. Luke warm at best and when we spoke with an employee about a fresh cup we were told it comes out of the machine that temperature. The donuts were cold, simply put. Nothing to rave about just a busy location in a busy area.

However, most of what they sell is not all that fresh so it's not likely that you'll get a freshly baked and warm donut here. Nonetheless, the glazed donuts are still very yummy.

This Krispy Kreme is located right in Times Square so definitely expect tourists. It's a huge storefront with lots of merchandise for purchase, seats, and most importantly, donuts! The donuts all look so perfectly made and there's even a conveyor belt where you can see the donuts being made. This location also has the signature apple donut that's not available at other locations. There are also multiple cashiers to help out but there weren't any long lines when I went anyway. The cashiers are also very nice! Their donuts are always light and fluffy. I always have to get the original glazed cause that's a classic and what they're known for! It's not overly sweet and very light! Even their cake donuts are very moist. They also have a huge Hot Light sign above the store so when it lights up, there are fresh donuts just made! Now through 9/5/2022, you can get a free donut any time the hot light is on!

Theres something about watching your doughnuts drown in a glaze fountain that is unmatched. This krispy kreme location gives you a glimpse into the doughnut-making process with views into the kitchen, conveyor belt and glaze machine. They have a ton of flavors! From the classic offerings like jelly-filled, chocolate/ strawberry glazed to more spontaneous seasonal flavors- there is always something for anyone. Although you can find Krispy kreme doughnuts at gas stations and supermarkets, it feels somewhat special/fresh getting it from the source. Not my favorite doughnuts EVER, but still an American staple that is consistent and keeps me coming back for more. FYI: They also sell a bunch of merchandise that makes for cute traveling gifts or get a box of donnies to go.

I mean... it's Krispy Kreme. It's amazing. Went with my boyfriend for him to get a dozen free for his birthday. Definitely sign up for the rewards program before your bday so you can do this. The Times Square location is always super busy, but instead of standing in the line in the store, we went to the side window. This was much quicker, would definitely recommend if you're not dying to see the conveyor belt.

Cliff notes: I gave it 4/5 for the system they have in place, the greeter near the registers is so friendly. The set up where you can see the BTS of how the donuts are made and glazed, that's such a cute idea. Very factory-vibes it's cute, but the donuts are lack luster. As the Cliffnotes state, the place is cute but the donuts are very lackluster. I was severely disappointed by the selections they had, but let the reader know I can an hour and a half before closing. The selection left were there glazed donuts and then strawberry ,chocolate and of course their touristy New York Apple donut. Personally, I was hyped about coming to Krispy Kreme because growing up my very southern family used to describe how Krispy Kreme used to be so good growing up, hot and fresh and yk.. it was that here. I can attest that the donuts could've been fresh because I saw it made but the taste was mediocre... :/ disappointed about that. Then they have two mini donuts that rang up to 3.69..... like the hostess donut sizes they offered were 3.69. Totally not worth it in my opinion. However, everyone in the building was friendly and helpful. I imagine that if you're new to Krispy Kreme and want a novel donut shop experience, try this place but it's not the best donuts you'll get in New York. Idk maybe I'm getting old. Very large and brightly lit Krispy Kreme store next to all the flashy souvenir dessert shops in Times Square. Very competitive place for food so there's lots of pressure to impress the customer load. As a New Yorker, I always review quick service concepts with a sharp outlook. Very cute interior and love everything they've added. Even the signature Big Apple donut. My main critique that threw down some stars was the efficiency of ordering and transparency of where customers need to stand for their donuts and coffee. The electronic kiosks were very fickle with not letting me place my order. Tried multiple kiosks and kept getting error messages. It threw a wrench in my attempt to drop in a hurry so I ran to the cashier area. Ran up the stairs thinking I could instantly place an order but there was a line behind me waiting to place orders. Granted the line was right by the donut conveyor belt so I couldn't tell if it was a legit order line or customers gazing at the attraction through the window. It was confusing for sure. When I got to the order area, the tables were divided into 2 sections: the donut and drinks area. Once your donut comes out first, then you would need to hop over to the next desk to acquire your coffee. The 2 tables is not a bad idea but it was still a tad confusing where to place your order and what sections to pick up each item. It may seem like a lot to order coffee and donuts but I guess that's why they need someone to stand in the middle of the shop to guide customers where to go.

This place has poor management. The "security" insists on having you stay behind the red line even if you were called up so you have to go back and forth with him if your whole party is ordering. Then instead of using digital signs like any other business in the 21st century they yell for who's next. However, it's so loud, the yells get lost and then the cashiers get annoyed. Just a tourist trap, better off going to another location. Update: After paying almost $50 for a dozen and a half, we went to try the chocolate custard filled donuts to find out they were never filled... poor management and poor quality control. The line moves very quickly, but this is the second time they didnt have glazed raspberry donuts. I was able to get 4 the staff wouldnt give me two from the other side (not sure why) . They had plenty of every other kind.

Krispy Kreme Times Square is crazy busy. Long lines all the time and I'm not waiting for a donut I really don't care to eat. I had to go see the hype. I enjoyed talking to the security guard at the door. I feel for him having to repeat over and over that there's no bathroom and no eating inside. I enjoyed looking at the exhibits and merchandise for sale. If I want a donut or coffee I'll visit my local KK when they open in the morning. This place is full of tourists. Knock yourself out and enjoy the donuts!

I lived in Atlanta for 1 year and Krispy Kreme donuts are my favorite! I love this place and recommend their donuts to everyone. Coffee is also Ok. The line is not to long, wireless payments accepted. Also you can see the donut bakery behind the glass. Feels like holiday in there! The atmosphere of a fun place.
