Insanely gorgeous restaurant. Incredible food. My boyfriend took me here to celebrate my birthday and I was obsessed. Everything we got tasted great. Service was top notch. What a wonderful place to have a dinner date and feel like you're on vacation.

I usually don’t like loud places, but this brunch at Kyma in Roslyn was such a fun experience. What started as a relaxed Saturday meal turned into a full-on Mediterranean celebration. A drummer came out mid-meal, and guests began dancing in circles around the dining room. It felt like a mini Mykonos party in the middle of Roslyn. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. We had the Greek salad, spread sampler, lamb chops, chicken skewers with rice, and a gorgeous fruit platter. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The service was warm and attentive, even with all the energy in the room. It’s definitely not your typical city-style brunch but more festive, high-energy, and memorable. Can’t wait to try their Hudson Yards location next!

We were invited to a surprise party this past Sunday at Kyma in Roslyn. The food was outstanding from the lobster tails and oysters to the feta salad to the beets and hummus and most incredible lamb chops and fish. They have done an amazing job with this restaurant. Such a beautiful, clean, well lit Greek atmosphere inside. The staff was very attentive and the acoustics were pretty good with the party live music as well. We could not have had a better time. The bar is fully stocked and servers mixed great cocktails. We will definitely go back for dinner because the food was just that good!!

We came here for a family graduation, and we left full, happy, and will be coming back. Relaxing atmosphere with a Mediterranean feel. As the sun goes down the music starts kicking in and the house DJ does a great job of keeping your body moving. The food is spectacular, with healthy portions and a fresh taste that makes you want more. Bring your friends, family or come on your own and have a great experience.

Google
Kyma is a beautiful Greek restaurant. Decor is lovely, volume level not too loud (we were there early Tuesday evening), food and drinks are delicious. My friends and I enjoyed a plethora of drinks - an espresso martini, with and without baileys, a lychee martini, a gin and tonic and some pinot noir. The bartender, Oscar, was not shy with the liquor and we loved it. As far as dinner goes, we shared a bunch of apps. The Kyma chips are a classic, must have. The zucchini and eggplant are sliced super thinly and lightly fried, served with tatziki and four small pieces of fried cheese (the best part). We also enjoyed the spanakopita (which was more spinach based than cheesy, which was a nice surprise), the filet souvlaki - which was so tender and delicious, and perfectly cooked (middle slightly pink), the shrimp cocktail, sesame feta, the octopus and the fried calamari. We also shared the chocolate lava cake and baklava. Safe to say we are looking forward to returning and are excited to give their brunch a try!

Google
Everything was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. The octopus, calamari, swordfish, oysters, salads, sides, soups, cocktails, and desserts were all high quality. The service was impeccable.

Google
The restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. We came for brunch and the portions were generous. Our server was very attentive as well. The only reason I took off a star was because the prices really are very high. What we ordered was delicious but for these prices I was expecting more unique and inspired dishes.

Google
This spot is definitely way calmer than the branch in the city to start off. Loved it here! I visited her for brunch with my partner - We loved the food! Our server was very attentive and super reliable and fast. I highly recommend the grilled calamari, the grilled octopus and the oysters!

Yelp
I had an amazing dinner at Kyma in Roslyn and totally get why it's so popular. The space is bright, white, and coastal-chic. modern Greek island vibes with a lively bar scene that gives the place energy without feeling chaotic at the table. Everything tasted super fresh. The assorted spreads with warm pita were a perfect start, and the grilled octopus was tender and flavorful. Our whole fish (deboned tableside) was cooked beautifully simple, lemony, and exactly what you want from a Greek seafood spot. Sides and small plates were just as strong; nothing felt like filler. the service was Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Plates came out paced for sharing, not rushed. also the Portions are generous and meant for family-style; come hungry or plan to share. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the quality, presentation, and experience make it worth it. Reservations are smart, especially on weekends or if you're coming with a group. If you're looking for standout Greek/Mediterranean dining on Long Island, Kyma Roslyn should be on your short list. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here for Father's Day dinner. We had reservations for 6 at 5:30pm. Reservations were easy to make via OpenTable. They valet parking in the lot or you can park in the metered lot half a block down. We were seated at our reservation time. Ambiance was nice with a Mediterranean feel. Servers were attentive. The restaurant did get pretty loud and lively after 7. What was disappointing to me was when the server told us a list of things they were out for night and we had early reservations. I can't imagine what it was like for ppl who had reservations at 7 and on. They were out of the pink snapper, dorado, bronzini and watermelon salad. I usually order the dorado when going to a Greek restaurant so I was a bit disappointed. But I decided to order the red snapper and the waiter comes back and says that was sold out also and the only fish they have left is the 2lb red snapper. We went with it and shared with the table. The fish was cooked perfectly, very tender and moist. The appetizers were also amazing. We ordered the zucchini/ eggplant chips and the grilled octopus. My daughter who is a picky eater loved the zucchini chips and kept asking for more. We were stuffed from dinner and didn't order dessert. I would come back again to try more things and hopefully on our next visit, they wont be out of everything.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate family! All the food was fresh and delicious. The seafood tower was a favorite but did take a but to serve. Servers were attentive Loved the quiet and clean ambiance of the resturant.

Yelp
Had an incredible dinner at Kyma in Roslyn--the whole fish was the star. Perfectly grilled, deboned tableside, and seasoned just right with lemon and herbs. Super fresh and cooked to perfection. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must. Great service and beautiful atmosphere too.

Yelp
We love the ambiance. The space was open and calm and not busy. Our waiter was the nicest old man, clearly old though. We had one too too many cocktails and drinks all good but nothing especially stood out. We ordered tuna, octopus, a Greek fish the nice old waiter recommended, oysters raw, and the lemon chicken soup. Every single bite was delicious. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the soup, but I need to come back and not drink so much so I can order the rest of the menu

J P.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was live! I would suggest you aside to make a reservation
google avatar

Yelp
One star is being generous. I've been here 3 times now & will never ever come back. I won't even make this long but basically the last time we went our chicken was raw & when I asked to send it back they said it looked "fine". I didn't eat it & got sick the next day & STILL HAD TO PAY FOR A DISH I WOULDN'T EAT. The food sucks & the service sucks & it honestly feels like a swingers bar it's so odd. Will never be back.

Yelp
You walk in and the ambiance is so pretty, especially the bathroom area is a great place for photos! All the food we got were sooo good and the service was amazing!

Yelp
The Long Island outpost of the flatiron fave lives up to the name. Was as much as a scene complete w dj, great food and great people to see and be seen! Service was impeccable. Attentive, personal and not intrusive at all. The hummus and pita bread was great. Greek salad for 2 a must. Fresh and drizzled with evoo does the trick. The sesame fried feta was a great play on baked Brie. It is topped with a fig compote sorta kinda thingamajiggy. Ex-Cell-ent. Sweet savory and nutty: absolute decadence. Tuna tartare was great too. And we also tried the pink snapper grilled. The kymatini was a great play the classic martini. The walnut cake was great as well similar to a carrot cake In flavor and texture. Both too sweet but very flavorful. If you're in Roslyn and looking for a great spot on the wkd highly encourage you hit up Kyma for a fun and flavorful night.

Yelp
We have been coming here past few years for friends birthdays I guess it's a price fix birthday thing with unlimited drinks I don't really like the drinks because it taste like cheap alcohol in it and menu is limited it was $180 for a cheeseburger and the unlimited drinks (only had 2) although this is an occasional thing I just don't see the price being worth it even with the DJ etc. I feel like if we came not for a party type thing g the food selection may be better but this was my last year I will most likely not be back but a fun vibe. Service is good the waiters are definitely attentive

Yelp

Yelp
Great place for dinner for a group or a date. Ambiance is beautiful here. Get the branzino

Yelp
Went for a Saturday brunch for a friends birthday. Tried several different dishes off the menu but didn't get to take pictures because the vibe is sexy and chill that you don't even get a chance to look at your phone. I loved all the dishes to be honest and the lamb chops were my fav. I tried the pomegranate martini and then the cucumber one..both were delicious. They really cater to your needs and dietary restrictions/being vegetarian. They have a DJ every Saturday. The servers are very prompt are attentive to their tables. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit (not just once)

Yelp
Kyma is a great spot! I came with the my mom and my brother. To start we shared the fried calamari, and my brother had the Pastitsio Spring Rolls which came with béchamel dip. For our entrees my mom loved her salad, and my brother raved about the Pasta Santorini, and I had the Avgolemono (still can't pronounce it lol) soup, it definitely hit the spot. The food overall for the price point was super delicious and was very flavorful. The place was clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The pricing wasn't too terrible for the food and would highly recommend giving it a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and drink menu! my husband and I enjoyed it! no complaints ever coming here!

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Above average neighborhood restaurant, overpriced. Loud, disorganized. They acknowledged my message re my fiancé's birthday, yet did nothing. When the valet parked my Bentley I was told that I didn't need a ticket and extra cones would be placed to avoid a ding. Upon leaving, that valet was gone and the others were surprised I had no ticket. In spite of that, they handed over my nearly $400K car without so much as ID. Tables very small, very tight. Food good, but not outstanding. Not worth another visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow what a treat this was! I always heard good things and was finally able to make it over there. The apps are phenomenal. The octopus is so perfect and tender my goodness. The eggplant and zucchini chips heavenly. And my favorite dish of the night the filet mignon skewers with brussel sprouts was OOTW. Mains I had the Moussaka which was absolutely delicious! My wife had the salmon again as this was her second time there she liked it so much she got it again. And the lemon potatoes were the best I have ever had in 40 years. Will definitely definitely be back. Service was good but could have been better IMHO. It was Saturday night it was busy so I get it.

Yelp
3rd Yr Wedding Anniversary. Hubby and I came for Saturday Brunch. Thank you Gaby (Hostess). We were 30mins late due to getting ready issues. Gaby was very polite, understanding and caring. Held our reservation for us. Mgr wonderful. He gave us glasses of Champagne to celebration the occasion. DJ's celebration was top. Drummer was AMAZING. The drummer continuously went all around the restaurant. Def had the party going. What a BLAST I had. Danced for hours. FORGOT to eat. Ended up taking my mussels and fries home. Had it for dinner.

Yelp
Great food, fun atmosphere. book reservations and try to get there for a Thursday night. i have such a good time. The DJ plays great tunes

Yelp
Appetizers, cocktails and service are great. We have a good time in the bar. I've been at the place a fra times and did not try options of service on he table either dinner nor lunch. Nice of bread and hummus courtesy service when you order food. Fried calamari is good and a way to go while enjoying happy hours. The lemon greek soup is a quick, tasty and preferred choice.

Yelp
I don't know why it has taken me so long to get to Kyma, but here we are. I went for Sunday brunch and it didn't disappoint! The decor and look of the place is so pretty. There are a lot of Instagramable spots as well. We had the wagyu meatballs ( YUM) and I had the santorini omelette ( delish) and really large portions. My drink of choice was a blood orange margarita ( yum wish was a smidge bigger). Service was on point. My husband is allergic to nuts and the water double checked his dessert order. Ok dessert. The Key Lime pie was the BEST KEY LIME I've EVER had, and I've had a lot. Can't wait to come back KYMA!
google avatar

Yelp
They way thy ran us out. Cleared my plate while still eating. Watching the manager tell the server just clean it up. Took away the desert and made us pay for it. Good food just get ready to get ignored and rushed out

Yelp
My experience here was a bit mixed. After hearing from family about the great food at Kyma for so long it was the place I picked to be treated to a birthday dinner. As expected, the food hit the mark and the service from the waitstaff was very good. Valet parking made things even smoother. We came in for an early Friday dinner (6:30pm) where the large space was nearly full. We were seated in a bit of awkward table that served as a bit of a room divider location. Despite there being a clear path a few feet over patrons, servers, and bussers felt the need to squeeze behind my chair and the wall from time to time. We ordered some Greek white wine - Assyrtiko, Gavalas "Posto", Santorini, Greece '20. We shared some generous tender octopus and "Tomato" salad. I stumped the server for a moment when I ordered it by the Greek name "Horiatiki" which made me chuckle a bit. The tomatoes were deep red and everything very fresh. The Scallop special came with 4 gigantic and flavorful ones on a bed of lobster mashed potatoes (? I think - they were very watery). I had to order the Youvetsi after hearing so many good things. The bed of tomato and orzo made my dining companion state it was just as her mother used to make (which is high praise). I especially loved the addition of Gaviera Cheese, which amped up the dish with salty umami-ness (it's a word!). This is where things went a little south. Throughout the evening I noticed there were a few guys in suits floating about and checking on things. They were filling in gaps of the service, but one overstepped by dropping the check prematurely on our table despite us ordering coffee and dessert that had yet to arrive. The server came to remove the check explaining we still have items coming. We were being rushed and it made for an uncomfortable last half hour or so of our meal which made us feel compelled to take our time because that is some BS. Anyway, this place is well loved with delicious food and usually packed. This was our experience on this occasion, which might have been closer to 5 stars but they need to work a bit on the hospitality part of their business.

Yelp
I came here for boozy brunch for a birthday and we had a great time. The bottomless drinks is $45 for mimosas, white or red sangria, and bellinis. The place had a nice atmosphere and everyone was dressed up. This is the place to go to when you want to party in a classy place. They had a live dj and they had a drummer who came around and let people play his drum. They threw napkins around and made everyone go around the restaurant in a conga line to make the atmosphere more festive. The food was very good and the service from Chris was great. However, I think the bottomless drinks are a little steep. It shouldn't have been more than $40 or less. I guess you are paying for the area and the atmosphere. I would go back but make sure to bring lots of cash.

Alexander R.

Yelp
Extremely nice people very good food on the pricey side. Portions could be a little bigger drinks could be a little bigger nice people very pleasant..

Yelp
I got the baby lamb shank over a tomato risotto and it was pretty good. A very fancy restaurant so the prices were very high, but the service was excellent! The lamb was soft and moist and very filling. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce/flavor with it, but otherwise I would recommend!

L. D.

Yelp
Had an issue with my food & called to speak w/ a manager. A girl by the name of Alexandria answered the phone & not only refused to place me on a call w/ the manager but also refused to tell me all three of their first names. After paying a lot of money for a meal, this is how a repeating paying customer is treated. I've been to Kyma for years. Endless meals, celebrations etc. This is unacceptable to be treated like this on top of being served a sub par dish. Kyma has not been the same for quite a while. I've finally learned my lesson. Plenty of other restaurants to enjoy.

MaryJo B.

Yelp
Best of the best! If you want a great meal with wonderful bar service, this is the place to go. Every single item is better than the next. If you haven't been here, you need to put an order to do list.

Yelp
We celebrated our parents 60th Wedding Anniversary last night at Kyma in Roslyn and it was INCREDIBLE! Excellent Service! Delicious and lots of food! Amazing Wine! Magnificent ambiance with Floral table decor and private menu. The price fix menu and very attentive staff truly made our party of 18 such a success! Thank You Laura for making our evening so special and such a success.

Donna G.

Yelp
The most upbeat, exciting brunch I have ever experienced! You must enjoy loud music though, lots of fun energy. You are free to dance with sparklers and enjoy all the confetti too. Lovely atmosphere, quality food, fresh ingredients, great bar experience, most importantly spectacular staff! Especially, Laura, (event planner) book an event at Kyma with Laura. What a pleasure dealing with her! Easy, breezy bookings. I will be back on April 11 for Dinner! Sincerely Donna Gasparri

Pinklious L.

Yelp
The food is delicious and similar to other Greek restaurants I visit locally. However for the price charging my expectation is I will get amazing service. It's over booked and packed , I feel bad for the waiters and staff they are forced to rush everything. The restaurant needs to stop doubling booking and shoving so many tables in every space that you can't even move your arm. Or hire more people .

Vanja V.

Yelp
I am writing this review while still sitting at Kyma, and I have to say, my experience has been disappointing. The reason is simple--poor food quality and unprofessional service. I ordered the salmon, but it was not cooked properly. My husband had the chicken, which was mediocre at best. Since I was still hungry, I asked for the menu to order something else. To my surprise, the waiter seemed confused and even questioned me, saying, "Did you just eat?!" I was shocked by such an unprofessional reaction. As someone in the hospitality industry, I understand the importance of good service, and this was far from it. A guest wanting to order more food should never be met with confusion or judgment. Very disappointing experience overall.
google avatar

Eastro Z.

Yelp
Decided to try Kyma and was not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions are large so bring your appetite. I tried the tomato salad and the Kyma chips and wow, they did not disappoint. Our waiter was pleasant and patient with us because we were indecisive on what to order. What I did was to give two choices and had him pick for me. All of his picks were on point. He made sure we were satisfied by frequently checking in on us. The restaurant is styled with Greek architecture and decor and had a very cool vibe. Definitely will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
One of our favorite places for celebrations and a nice dinner out. Great for dinner with family and intimate dinners as well. The ambiance is great and of all the other Mediterranean styles restaurants on LI, this is my favorite. The food is amazing! The kyma chips is my go-to appetizer. Perfectly crispy without being overly oily and soggy. Always amazingly salted. The gigantes is definitely a must and pairs well with their complimentary pita (which also is drizzled with a herb and lemon infused olive oil - to die for). Their main courses are large and everything we had was great. The service is great but you definitely recommend having a reservation otherwise you'll be seated at the bar.

Jacque K.

Yelp
We all order the salmon Kabab with TADIG , Avacado salad guacamole and the saffron ice cream I was so impressed that I thought I would throw my next party in there. I recommend this place to all the Persian and non-Persian this is not a Greek restaurant.
google avatar

Tee D.

Yelp
TLDR; The cocktails are the winner but there are no losers The servers are courteous and quick. The attention to detail is great and the environment is very posh. You ARE paying for the quality and not the quantity. The portion sizes are not tiny either. Every bite was great. Even the steak looked delectable. Favorite bite: octopus Favorite drink: east of Manhattan
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Came here for our anniversary dinner and we were happy with our experience. My sangria was so good and so was all our food. The bread and hummus was my fave, however, portions were pretty small considering the cost of the items. Service was great, it was a hot day and our waiter made sure we got a table in the shade which I appreciated greatly! Also we were happy with all the recs he gave us as far as food items go. Boujee Greece vibes but I ain't mad at it!
google avatar

Zoha M.

Yelp
This restaurant is beautifully decorated and upscale! Very nice for a social gathering, and the staff was very pleasant. The food was displayed beautifully. For appetizers, we ordered fried calamari, grilled octopus and watermelon salad. The watermelon salad was very refreshing and tasty! Lamb shank was fall off the bone and flavorful on a bed of orzo. Moussaka lacked some flavor in my opinion but still tasty. Overall great experience!

Yelp
I have been wanting to check this restaurant for a long time, and now that I have been to it, I am not impressed. Here are my gripes: 1. We had a 5:30 reservation and arrived early. At the time, the restaurant wasn't that busy. The hostess sat us in a very undesirable area (near the wait staff station). We kindly asked if we can be seated elsewhere, and after 5 minutes the hostess came back and gave us an option to seat us at a table that is meant for 3, which will make it very cramp for us 4. We opted to just take the table next to the wait staff. It was uncomfortable and very distracting. Wait staff were just standing around and gossiping loudly, literally next to us. Let me first say, that there were many 4 seater tables around us, but they refused to seat us there. Even when we finished our dinner, those 4 seaters that were available were still available. I don't understand the logistics of this restaurant. 2. For somewhat an upscale restaurant, you would expect clean utensils and dinnerware. Nope, not at this restaurant. My daughter's cup looked like there was a red liquid spot near the edge and all of our plates had black specks and markings on them. Just very off putting. 3. Food was ok. We had the Bronzino fish and automatically I can tell it was not fresh with first bite. The steak we ordered tasted ok but some areas tasted "gamey" and that is weird coming from beef. We also had mussels. Sad part was that there were a lot of unopened ones. We loved the sauce it came with. The decor was nice. However, I felt the restaurant was pretentious and trying to be upscale but unable to do so with the lack of good tasting food. This is not a restaurant I want to come back to.

Yelp
OMG where do I begin?! Kyma is fantastic. Every single minute we were there was great. The place is so nice, guys at valet very nice as well. The service was a 10 out of 10. Phillipo was beyond attentive and patient. He explained everything and also made some wonderful suggestions. The food was incredible. The Kyma chips are just a must have. My husband ordered the mussels and could not stop raving about them, he even asked for a spoon so he could have the broth. The hummus with pita was delicious. The moussaka I ordered was delictable. My husband ordered lamb chops, loved them so much he forgot to give me a bite. The baklava ice cream at the end...wow, I would have purchased a pint to take home if they had it! The music is great, the place gets packed. Its definately the place to be on the weekend, will definately return!!

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE it here. Great food, awesome ambiance, and friendly staff. I recently came here for a birthday brunch and had so much fun! We had a group of about 20 people, and each person paid a set price for appetizers, an entree, dessert, and bottomless drinks. For the bottomless drinks, we were able to pick between mimosas, bellinis or sangria. The waiters also made sure we were always filled up, and we didn't even have to ask them once. They had a couple options to choose from for the entree, but I got the chicken kebab, which was delicious. They also have a DJ playing music throughout the brunch and everyone is up dancing. I've heard great things about the brunch here, but I'm glad I got to finally experience it! Couldn't recommend this place enough for your brunch, or if you just want to go somewhere for a nice dinner.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday at Kyma and I couldn't ask for a better experience. Our server Adonis was top notch. The drinks were delicious especially the coconut pineapple margarita. The Kyma chips and octopus appetizers were outstanding. I treated myself to the langoustines, they were cooked perfectly. My husband had a Chilean sea bass special with mushroom risotto, his plate was wiped clean. My dessert which was a custard in phyllo dough was so good. We were all pretty full at the end of the meal, but so happy. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This was such a beautiful restaurant that whisks you to away. I love the fish filet! It was perfectly cooked. They have a nice lunch menu. It comes with an appetizer. The pistachio dessert was decadent. The service was excellent. They have valet parking which is convenient I'd love to come back for dinner

Yelp
I was actually really excited to try this place cause I've heard wonderful things from the locals! Apparently Thursday nights at Kyma are insane with live music. We unfortunately couldn't make it on Thursday but we came on Friday. It was still packed and a reservation is still necessary. I ordered a few different items. Here is my review: 1) grilled octopus: Delicious, I always rate a Greek restaurant based on how good the octopus is! Grilled to perfection. I loved the flavors 2) fried calamari: I typically don't love ordering fried calamari, but this dish was actually done quite well. The breading washing overwhelming and I can actually taste the squid! Good stuff. 3) moussaka: very overwhelming and super heavy. Not what I was expecting. It's like a greek lasagna 4) lamb chops: super fatty, and the portions were sooo small. No sides!!! Overall I wasn't terribly impressed with this place. There's definitely better greek restaurants in the area, but the ambiance of the restaurant is what really sells it.

Yelp
Every single time my family and I have been to Kyma has always been excellent. The service? Impeccable. The food? To die for. The ambiance? Lively! The drinks are always great so I would highly recommend going to Kyma! I've never been to the NYC location but the Roslyn location is ! My family and I will be Kyma fans forever!!

Yelp
A friend was visiting from out of town so she suggested we meet up here on a Thursday night. Reservations were made and we were off. I must say that the service is great and the foos was fresh and delicious. The ambiance was very romantic great place for a small group or romantic evening. I highly recommend the Branzino it was superb.

Yelp
after visiting the hudson yards location, i couldn't stay away. this location is hidden away on a quiet street. the interior is luxurious and open. our server Chris was absolutely amazing, quick and very friendly. i am not a hummus eater but the hummus that was sent with the pita bread before our drinks was light and tasty. i ordered the oysters, octopus, mussels and saganaki. my only wish is that i had my room in my stomach to inhale everything. everything was delicious! the oyster were definitely the best i've ever had. they basically dissolved right in my mouth. the octopus was not chewy at all and tasted like butter.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance are all amazing! Highly recommend! Saturday brunch is fun for a girls birthday brunch, they have loud music and sparklers everywhere! Get the Kyma zucchini chips!
