The 38 Best Restaurants in Honolulu, Hawai‘i | Eater

"Find Hawai‘i Korean comfort food here in the form of meat jun, sizzling kalbi, and sashimi platters. Kyung’s is also home to some of the best poke on the island, including the Mama’s Special, in which cubes of fish are coated in masago for a salty, sweet, crunchy bite. The spicy ‘ahi is more like a paste; fold it into nori and rice, or if you’re getting takeout, use it as an excellent dip for shrimp chips. Best for: Casual dinner with a group so you can share everything." - Martha Cheng

The Best Poke in Honolulu: 11 Restaurants to Hit | Eater

"Known for its generous portions of homey Korean food, sashimi platters, and strawberry shochu slush, this small restaurant is also a sleeper hit for poke, in particular, the mama special: Owner Kyung Cha tosses fresh tuna with chunky Hawaiian salt, crisp ogo (seaweed), and heaps of masago, resulting in a sweet, salty, crunchy mix that’s shot through with tiny but potent Hawaiian chiles. The spicy ‘ahi is also a must; it’s not cubed poke, but a thick spread, which you spoon into nori — though it’s also excellent with shrimp chips, for an ultimate beachside chips and dip." - Martha Cheng

Google
Holy cow keep this secret spot a hidden gem! Me, a tourist found this delightful restaurant and staff through Reddit. Was not disappointed - immediately parking the car the smell of kalbi cooking permeated the air. But we didn't come here for the kalbi, but the sashimi platter! $30 for 24 thick slices of ahi, salmon and hamachi. Staff warmly greeted us as we walked in - asked if we had a reservation (we didn't - busy Saturday night) and managed to seat us. The restaurant was half filled and customers kept coming and going! The restaurant ran out of salmon so we had 12x ahi and 12x hamachi which was fine! Out also came a side of Korean pickled onions, kimchi and macaroni. The kind young server even offered us a bowl of rice to go along with the sashimi. Would return again and tell all my friends visiting Honolulu about Kyung's Seafood!

Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. Inside was dark, but AC was on so it's comfortable. Place was full at noon on a Sunday. Server was exceptionally friendly and I can see a lot of regulars coming for lunch. They knew their regulars well and served them what they normally want without them asking. Ordered Oyster Jun and the 1/2 lb Mama Special Poké. When you order the poke by the lb there's no rice, which is what we wanted. Free sides were offered. $3 if you'd like to replenish the sides. Kimchi was good and not spicy which was good for my friend. Daikon was spicy which was tasty for me. Macaroni was okay. Creamy and I'm just not a fan of cold macaroni, but some might like the macaroni salad. Oyster Jun was basically oysters wrapped in fried egg batter. It was very tasty and fried to a crisp. Delicious and would come for this again. Mama's special poke is basically ahi tuna, fish roe and onions. We were surprised it had no sauce so it didn't have much flavour if you eat it on it's own. There were mild and spicy options, maybe it would've been different if we ordered spicy? Or maybe they forgot to put on the sauce altogether because the server asked me to pay before my poke came. Then when I asked if I can have the poke before paying she was very apologetic that they forgot and gave us maybe 1lb of poke instead of the 1/2lb. They do have sauces you can add on your own. Maybe that's how its meant to be, you add your own sauces. It was tasty after adding the soy sauce and sesame sauce after. Overall service was excellent. The Korean server was very enthusiastic and made recommendations when we asked. Food was okay, but maybe I didn't understand what I'm supposed to do with the poke. Tuna was fresh and worth the price. Plenty of fish roe and I like the seasoned onions.

Google
Been coming here for years but never wrote a review for selfish reasons lol. Did take out for dad's last minute Father's day ask (sashimi or sushi... requested two hours prior to lunch!). Thank goodness this place ALWAYS delivers. Best raw seafood in town. Mixed sashimi platter is always delicious and the pieces are legit. I'm a huge fan of their spicy squid and oyster jun. They always treat us so well and they're always so friendly. It's been a while since I've dined in - the place is still cozy and I miss their strawberry soju, but I'll be back...

Google
Wonderful experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good service, and the atmosphere of an establishment well beloved by the community. If I didn't have more places to try, I'd eat there every day.

Google
old fashioned, delicious, fresh food. i am so grateful we were able to try this food during our trip to oahu, the staff was kind and the atmosphere was very warm. it was heartwarming to see the staff interacting with their regulars you can tell they truly care about their people! this place is a MUST visit.

Google
Holy shit, this place is an absolute gem! 10/10 for the sashimi, the vibe, and the overall experience—no, scratch that, 100/10 because Kai, our server, made it next-level amazing. Didn’t even know Honolulu could have a spot this perfect for a meal, but damn, they nailed it. This is officially going into my pocket list, and I’m about to tell every single one of my friends to try it. If you’re in Honolulu and don’t eat here, you’re seriously missing out!

Google
Came around 4:30 PM on a Friday. Limited parking behind the building was available (3 total spots). No one yet inside, so quick service. Ordered Poke bowls, 갈비고기전 plate, followed by additional order of 해물파전. Everything was delicious. 해물파전 was one of the best we’ve ever had because it was crispy everywhere. 고기전 was very good. The best was their cabbage kimchee. It was so good; we asked for three bowls and finished every bit of it. Yum.

Google
I love spicy food but the kimchi fried rice was too spicy for me 😭 The spicy pork is delicious but oddly, not spicy at all. Good portion sizing for price and nice little unassuming location.

Yelp
They have such a wide variety (poke + Korean). If I had to pick faves: the spicy ahi, gizzards, and meat Jun!! But everything we got was worth getting. Highly recommend for family style but also noting that the restaurant is kinda small and parking is tight, so small groups would be best :) This is everything we got: Seafood soft tofu soup - $19.95 Mama Special poke - MP Spicy ahi - MP Chicken gizzard - $14.95 Meat Jun - $18.95 Kalbi - $26.95

Yelp
This is my new favorite place for Korean food and poke. We ordered the fried salmon skin as an appetizer. Kalbi plate and a poke and BBQ chicken plate. The salmon skin was crispy and tasty, like a salmon potato chip. The kalbi had a good flavor and texture, it was nicely charred. The poke was fresh, firm and tasty. The chicken was tender and had nice grill marks. It came with a set of 3 banchan. You can order more for a small fee. Service was friendly and prompt. The food is excellent, I've been told they previously owned Keeaumoku seafood which is why the poke was so good. I'd say it was even better because it seems like the poke is mixed right before serving instead of sitting mixed in the display case all day. The only problem i can see is parking. It's all on the street which can be difficult. I came on a weekday for lunch and easily found parking but I could see on the weekends or evenings it might be difficult.

Yelp
Nice local spot. Came across this via yelp actually. Despite the name, they actually have a lot of meat options! Seating is limited due to space. Service is good however. Sashimi plate was surprisingly good. Also priced well. This is a very good deal IMO. Tried the meat sampler - they were all good but BBQ chicken is the best! Moist and flavorful. Reminds me of Filipino BBQ chicken. We'll be back.

Yelp
My all time favorite sashimi fix in town! Sashimi Combination is best on quality and quantity! Ahi, Salmon and Hamachi is still picture perfect and Ono! Mahalo for maintaining your quality and consistency over the years which leads to perfection. Service remains at tops!

Yelp
Always delicious. Always great selection. Fast service for lunch. Can't wait to go back for oyster juhn, banchan, kalbi, house poke, gizzards, and mandu.

Yelp
Excellent! This tiny hole in the wall packs a big punch ... we usually go in for their delicious & fresh poke choices but this time tried the Korean dishes and they did not disappoint! My husband RAVED about the ahi belly & kal bi ! You all need to go check it out ... love these spots that are no frills but all flavor Thank you Kyung's Seafood We will be back
google avatar

Yelp
Space for dine in is very small, but the staff welcomes everyone! I suggest making a reservation because they do fill up quick with such limited seating. The food was great! We ordered a variety of items and were pleased with it all! I highly recommend trying the spicy ahi and their Hawaiian special. Both were my favorite items in the menu!! I will be back to try more items on the menu!!

Yelp
An amazing smaller korean restaurant, everything is so good. My favorite is the minced spicy ahi (comes with rice & nori)- it was perfect, I would eat this everyday if I could. All their fish is fresh, and thick cuts. Also love their meat jun & mandoo- comes out hot. They have a happy hour on drinks from 11-7pm. Parking is a little tough- small lot in the back, otherwise there is a lot of street parking available.
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
HUGE portions! Poke is fresh, meat jun is spot on. Lots of aloha put into this preparation! Staff is friendly. It's a bit of a hole in the wall inside, but the food definitely makes up for it! SO ONO!
google avatar

Rand E.

Yelp
Great value and good food! Came this time on a Sunday, so lots of free meter parking on King St. Had some delicious entrees plus sashimi. The spicy rice cakes were terrific, seafood pancake yummy, fried mandoo so filling and fresh saba. But the highlight was the sashimi...so fresh and thick slices! Such a bargain at $30 for 24 pieces.

Yelp
Food: Good Service: Bad Ambiance: Homey Food is really good, but they messed up way to much on our order. (It also wasn't even a busy time. There were just 3 new groups served food over a long period of time and in a weird order. Probably will come back just to order TOGO and will check my bag because I assume they will make a mistake.

Yelp
Our friends brought us here and it exceeded our expectations. The meatjun, seafood pancake, and garlic shrimp were some of the best things I've ever eaten. It's a hole in the wall, iykyk kinda spot. Check it out!

Yelp
Food is amazing! Staff and service are quick and efficient. And the ambiance is overall friendly and inviting.

Yelp
3.5/5 stars My family and I ordered a little bit of everything to share and the only exceptional dish we tried was the Mama Special Poke. The poke was very fresh, combined with the roe and onion it was met with a good crunch factor! The spice wasn't overbearing and just right. This is a must get if you visit! On the other hand, everything else was standard. The food is better suited for drinking, which was not expected for a family dinner. The tteokbokki was well done - the rice cakes were cooked well and were squishy! The meat jun & galbi was a bit disappointing as the meat was good but very thin with a thick batter coating it. Kimchi fried rice was decent, no one can really mess it up. The restaurant was super busy with fully booked reservations. The owner was nice enough to serve us a table with a one hour time limit.
google avatar

Moani K.

Yelp
One of the only late night restaurants open in Honolulu. So delicious. I used to work across the street from here and would Always get lunch. Their fish so so fresh and poke is made to order.

Yelp
FINALLY hopped over to Kyung's for lunch on a Saturday with out of town family and it did not disappoint! The four of us split a kimchee fried rice, sashimi platter, and meat jun Ala Carte, and delicious banchan. The place is small so peak hours around dinner can be hard to get a seat, but they do have reservation options. The food comes out quickly and is no frills in presentation, but A+ quality and made to order. It's a fabulous combination of local style Korean-bbq plate lunch and fresh fish that will please locals and out of Towners alike!

Yelp
Love this place. My go to for meat jun, kalbi garlic ahi belly. Kim chee is amazing and so is the mama special poke. My family and I come here regularly. Love the owner to she is the best.

Yelp
Testing out new Foodie places to eat this week.... 5/5 Kyung's Seafood did not disappoint! Everything from fresh sashimi plate, Mama's special poke, to Meat Jun/Kalbi plate was AMAZING!!!! Prices are so reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. We had a fabulous lunch! MUST TRY! Highly Recommend A+!
google avatar

Yelp
I had no clue about this place. Glad my step brother who was visiting told me about this place. I love their spicy ahi they give you seasoned seaweed and a bowl of rice and you can make your own ahi nigiri. I'm not a meatjun person but I liked it here. Without the sauce it still has flavor but it's better with the sauce for sure. I would come back and let my friends know about it. Parking is what sucks otherwise it's. Great place!!
google avatar

Yelp
The best hidden gem! We had dinner here on 02/22/25 and they did not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious and the food came out pretty fast. We had the Kalbi plate, Kalbi and meat June plate with rice and seaweed, the chicken wings, and the chicken katsu. If you're in Honolulu do yourself a favor and try this place.
google avatar

Breanna S.

Yelp
Kyung's Seafood has quickly become one of my favorite dinner places! I do take out because the parking situation is very limited (street parking). Service is fast and friendly, although they have forgotten my order twice, but they quickly made it afterwards. Ambiance is busy. My favorite dish is the meat jun and spicy ahi combo. The spicy ahi has a lot of masago and mayo. I really enjoy the sweet dipping sauce that comes with the meat jun.
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
Amazing prices, amazing quality food, great sashimi, the spicy poke (mamas special spicy) is no joke, everything about this place from food to drinks is so tasty and so well priced. It's a small restaurant that can sit maybe 25 people, lots of good food options, good service, okay portions, but man do they make good food, and their soju cocktail is literally a full bottle of soju mixed with some flavored juice. Drink at your caution. 100% recommend. 수고하세요!
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
This place is a great bang for your buck-- don't be fooled by the exterior. The poke + galbi plate is extremely value, you get almost 1/4th lb of poke with 4-5 pieces of galbi. I came multiple times and the food quality was really fresh. I like that you can choose whatever fish you want with the flavor ( salmon, ahi, albacore etc) The combo plate is more value than just the galbi plate since the portions are similar.

Yelp
Kyung's was one of the few restaurants still open when we landed at 9pm in Oahu. We arrived right before their kitchens closed at 10pm, but they still sat our large group of 8! It was so good we came back at the end of our trip to dine in again! We tried the Spicy Ahi, Spicy Mama, Kalbi, Meat Jun, Seafood Combo Jun, Kimchi Fried Rice, Sashimi, Mandoo, and Spicy Chicken Wings. All of these dishes hit! The Seafood Jun was better than the Meat Jun imo because it was less greasy and more crispy. I especially loved the minced Spicy Ahi, Seafood combo Jun, and their Kalbi short rib was a thicker cut and so succulent. We tried so many restaurants all over the island and this was a group favorite. Only have pictures of our second dinner here bc we inhaled the first dinner before any photos could be taken. Bonus for the happy hour soju and beer!
google avatar

Corina Q.

Yelp
Kyung's Seafood is an iconic little spot that's great for dine-in or takeout for a variety of korean bbq plate lunches and poke. their portions are pretty generous for the price and i love all of the flavors. we got the kalbi & poke plate ($21), meat jun & mandoo plate ($20) and a half pound of their poke ($15) and had leftovers despite feeding four people. the service is super nice and quick, and there's lots of street parking and a small little lot behind the shop. it's definitely a great spot if you're looking for a good deal with quality food
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
This is one of those places where I go for one thing and one thing only, the meat jun and mama's special poke combo. I have tried the wings and maybe another dish, but somehow I just remember the taste of the meat jun/poke combo. In my opinion, it's the best meat jun on island. It's sometimes pretty busy and you have to make reservations, but I would typically call in for takeout since the place is quite small. Portions are huge and easily can become two or three meals.
google avatar

Leslie D.

Yelp
Everything we got was great (ahi belly, meat jun, ramen, etc.) but their poke is fresh and tasty!!! Get the kalbi & poke (mama) plate with a side of kim chi fried rice. You'll thank me later.
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
If you are craving Korean comfort food, this is a solid spot to check out! They also offer fresh sashimi platters and poke as well! 'Kimchi Fried Rice': pretty good! it was flavorful and paired with the runny egg, chefs kiss!! 'Meat Jun': slightly sweet and savory marinade lightly battered in egg. this item took a while to come, I thought it was okay tho. 'Seafood Soft Tofu Soup': this was so comforting, they actually pack this with a lot of different seafood, which I appreciated. Comes with shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, etc 'Butterfish Stew': my first time having butterfish! I wasn't expecting so many small bones, but the fish was indeed soft and buttery! The soup was nice and flavorful, had a little kick to it, and overall complemented the fish really well! This restaurant is small, but packed when we went, luckily we didn't have to wait too long tho! Parking options include their small parking lot with about 3-4 spaces, the other option is street parking around the area!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is awesome. Come in closer to noon, as they make their spicy tuna mixture in the morning and it might not be ready if you stop by too early. The poke was fantastic and the kids LOVED the kalbi ribs. We were in Hawaii for a week... and came here TWICE! Definitely coming back next time we're in town. If you're tired of Foodland, then definitely give this place a try.

Yelp
Get the spicy tuna and mahalo me later. The crispy seaweed wrappers, the hefty portion of tuna, the seasoned rice. Maybe a pitcher of beer or flavored soju. The staff is a vibe and they get things done with speedy service. This is truly a local gem, great for informal hangouts, and quite a bite when it comes to Korean-Hawaiian fusion.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and drinks in a very friendly ambiance. We ordered Kim chee fried rice, hamachi ahi platter, bulgogi and pork chops. The food was delicious and tasty.
google avatar

Yelp
Went for dinner with family who was here visiting. The place was hopping. Lots of people. Lots of smiles. Lots of food. Cozy and great service. The food was delicious and they had a lot of variety not just seafood, but also meat selections. The only downside was that they were out of a lot of flavors of their Soju cocktail and their flavored soju. A place you definitely need to check out. If you really want to make sure they have all the flavors soju available (if that's your thing to drink) I would call ahead to see if they have the flavor(s) you want.

Yelp
Was craving some sashimi and poke and saw a lot of good reviews about this place. We ordered there for takeout. My son got the rice plate that included kalbi, bbq chicken, and macaroni salad. His food was really good and I was surprised of the flavor of the chicken as it was not lacking! I ordered the Mama's poke rice plate based on reviews I read and the mixed sashimi platter. I thought the poke was just okay it tasted too much of sesame oil. The sashimi was good and fresh for the price. You can't beat the price and quality. That won't be a disappointment and you'll definitely get a bang for your buck! They offer 3 different types of fish: salmon, ahi tuna, and yellowtail. They were out of ahi tuna so we got half salmon and yellowtail. Worth the money!

Yelp
I went to Hawaii with my husband after our wedding as a little break for us and JESUS. LORD HAVE MERCY!! I'm so blessed to have tried Kyung's. We were in Hawaii for 5 days and we had to get Kyung's twice before leaving HAHA The mama's special is to die for. You eat it with gim (seaweed paper) and rice... HOLY JESUS it's so freaking good. My husband can't eat fish (he's a meat person) but he was eating this UP. The soondubu.... Omg it's PACKED with flavor. It's better than some of the soondubu's in Cali. MUST GET. GALBI GALBI GALBI- she's so beautiful... thick, juicy, smoky, 10/10 amazing Ddukbokki actually had a kick to it! Flavor is also 10/10!! Yall need to come here. We're going back to Hawaii JUST FOR KYUNGS. We're back in Cali but we've been talking about this place nonstop all our friends and family will come very soon! Thank you Kyung's I really hope yall stay in business forever because if you don't, never going back to Hawaii

Yelp
The food is good but their customer service is not consistent. The last time I was here they got my to go order wrong and I called right away. I received a cheaper plate than what I ordered. The lady was going to refund my order the next time came but all I asked for was to credit me the difference the next time I went. Well, today I went to use that credit and they had no record of my call. Check your plates before leaving the store because you might not get the correct order and don't get credit for it even you paid for it. Disappointed in their customer recovery.

Yelp
You know that experience of craving a home cooked Korean meal, and your "ajumeoni" cooks all that kind of food for you and it's so good? Yeah, I don't, because I'm not korean. But that's OK, because when the craving for home cooked Korean meal hits, I can go to Kyung's Seafood. 1. Food - It's what I would imagine a home cooked meal would be like. Our family usually orders these: chicken katsu, meat jhun, kalbi, seafood pancake, KFC (that's Korean Fried Chicken, chicken wings), and one of their pokes. They always come out good. Nothing to complain about. 2. Service - Good enough. They get us what we need in a timely manner. That's really all I can ask for. 3. Location - It's off of S. King St. They have a small parking "lot" in the back. Fits about 3-4 cars. When it gets full, good luck trying to find street parking. Inside is really small. The vibe is kinda divey, almost like a bar. Lot's of tables, but really tight when the place is full. Reminds me of those restaurants I see in K-Dramas. 4. Price - Expensive. But hey, everything is nowadays. I can't really blame them when we live in Hawaii and have to ship everything in. The place also serves a lot of their food on cheap paper plates. Maybe it's their attempt to keep costs down. I'm OK with it, but it is my least favorite aspect at Kyung's.
google avatar

Angela P.

Yelp
Love the mom and pop feel of this place. And their food is ono! You can take out or dine in. They also take reservations which is recommended because I think they only have about 9-10 tables. If you dine in bring a jacket because their AC is nice and cold! You'll only find locals here so that's how you know the food is good! Parking is a bit tricky because their lot in the back (accessed from Birch street which is a one way street) and it's tiny but there's street parking out front on S. king street.
google avatar

Yelp
A little disappointing. The seafood dishes are very good but with one asterisk and Korean dishes just flat out bad. Let's start with the good. Poke and sashimi dishes are very generous portions and expertly cut. Seafood is fresh... On top of that prices are super reasonable. Here is the bad part - my cousin got food poisoning eating a grey poke piece. Because of that it's 3 stars. The meat jun and seafood pancake totally disappointing. No flavor at all too doughey, mushy and not much seafood in pancake. The spicy ahi is a an unappetizing mess, looks like red dog food (at least tasted ok). Quality is on par or lower than Palama and Gina's but much more expensive. One star. Sorry to say it doesn't meet the hype. Maybe next time only order the seafood dishes and avoid food poisoning.
google avatar

Jillian T.

Yelp
Reservations are a must because they get busy really quickly. There's only enough seating for maybe 30 people at most at a given time. But they hustle and they really know how to crank it here. I would recommend looking at their menus online beforehand so you have an idea of what you want to order. The service is super quick, so the moment you get sat it's already "what do you want to drink, ready to order?" And the food comes out super quickly too. It's a very homey feeling in there, so it doesn't feel rushed; if you go here, I think you'll know what I mean. Nevertheless, comfort fried foods at its best. And the sashimi is so fresh, it melts in your mouth! Though the street parking may be challenging on a busy night so carpool or ride share if possible.
google avatar

Allison W.

Yelp
Sashimi combo was delicious, plate lunches are generous! Also, loved their seafood tofu soup, it have a really good seafood stock flavor. Service leaves something to be desired, but food makes up for it! Place is busy so call ahead and make reservations!

Yelp
Found easy free street parking and walked into this very unassuming place, but once you're in it has a mom n pop feel, and very welcoming. We wanted to try as much as we could without over ordering, so this is what we got: Sashimi Combination $30 - the smallest one, and it comes with tuna, salmon and yellowtail. All of this was really fresh and generous in size and portion. My favorite was the yellowtail. Mama Special Poke - 1/2 pound - this was really fresh and not overpowering in flavor in a good way. Butter Fish Stew - very similar to the tradition Korean spicy fish stew, but this is with butter fish/cod and it was the jam! I would order this towards the end of our meal since it's a great meal finisher. Spicy Tuna (minced) - 1/2 pound - this was so different from any other poke I've ever had and tasty! It's minced raw tuna mixed in with masago and Hawaiian red salt. They served this with a side of Korean seaweed, and you wrap it with rice and scoop of the Spicy Tuna - bomb! Lastly, the sides - kimchi, picked radish & jalapenos, and the mac salad were all so good. Additionally, the service here was top notch, and the owner's daughter, Yunee came out and talked to us and told us her story. I will be coming back for sure with my Korean parents!

Yelp
This is my FAV place to get Korean takeout! I always get their meat jun plate, bbq chicken and kalbi combo and a 1/2 of their mama special poke. Their quality is way superior to other Korean takeout places I have tried so far. Each plate comes with a scoop of mac salad and kimchi-- nothing too special about these. The meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Their mama special poke is filled with masago, seaweed and onions (9/10). The only downside to this place is that it is kind of on the pricy end-- I paid around $60 for everything and other places are more affordable.

Yelp
Welcome to KYUNGS SEAFOOD One off thee best hole in the wall spots to get that (Local style Korean food or that Ahi poke or sashimi) been coming to this spot for a long long long time now and I always love coming here to eat if it's just grabbing poke or sashimi or having to dine in with the family. The staff and people here are nice and friendly always greeting their customers with a nice big HI & HELLO. Things I recommend getting here is EVERYTHING (ahhha) I mean yah mostly everything they have on their menu is GOOD and THUMBS UP. But here is some things that I do always get when coming to Kyung's seafood. *Mama special (fresh ahi poke) so good trust me *Spicy ahi poke (this one their spicy ahi they minced and cut up the fish not your normally POKE CUT CUBES) this was goes well with nori seaweed and a scoop of rice. *Sashimi of course Ahi/Salmon & Hamachi *ala Carte KALBI on a sizzling platter *Fried man dodo *Fried chicken wings (plain not marinated) *Bbq Boneless chicken *Garlic marinated ahi belly *Tofu seafood soup is good as well All these items is my go to's here at Kyung's seafood always like and love ordering these foods on their menu. They do have RESTROOMS inside of the Resturant so that's a plus. Parking - Street parking after 630pm is free from Monday to Friday Saturday's free parking after 6pm Sundays are free all day. They do have a small parking area in the back of the Resturant which could fit max 6cars if it's double parked other then that it's a guarantee 3 stall parking lot. Shout out to OWNER YUNI she is an amazing person always greets her customers and willing to listen to what customers need. Thank you YUNI for always your wonderful customer service appreciate it so much. So if you reading this yourself say CHEEEEE-Hoo (ahha) Review posted on 10/30/23 Monday

Yelp
On the positive side, the food has been consistently good! Fish has been fresh and dishes are flavorful. Ambiance is hole-in-wall vibe. We've been here several times now, and the service has been mixed. Service could be more friendly. I notice they are nicer to certain customers. Shrug. Waitresses don't really check on us, and some are mostly on their phones. Parking is difficult to find depending on the time of day.

Yelp
First time coming to Kyung's. Parking is limited to 3 stalls behind the restaurant and street parking. Very casual atmosphere. Friendly service. I got the Meat jun and poke combo (I got the Mama's special poke). Very tasty. Good size portion (2 pieces of meat jun cut up, rice, scoop of Mac salad, kim cheese, and the (1/4 lb?) poke). There is seating for about 30 including some tables to seat 6). They have a lot of other korean dishes that I'll have to come back and try. Overall, "I'm coming back real soon" good.
