We went here to celebrate a special occasion because I like their food and were super excited that they now take reservations. They asked on the phone if we were celebrating anything special, I said yes our 1 year anniversary. When we were there having dinner they didn’t mention it at all. I was a bit puzzled. Why bother to ask in the first place 🤷‍♀️ that was kind of strange. I’m only giving it a 3 star because of the noise level, there were a few vocal kids, which isn’t the restaurants fault. I’m not sure that they are quite to the status of taking reservations, maybe going back to just walk in is better suited for this establishment.

La Bottega has been in our sights for over the last few years. It took a while but we finally made it in on our 18th anniversary. As we approached this restaurant we loved its classic downtown Vancouver feel. The front door feels as though you are entering an old church. As you enter the restaurant, it gives off the old world Tuscany vibe, with familiar earth tones and smooth ease. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. It was fairly low key when we arrived but picked up surprisingly for a Monday evening. Our Server was amazing. She answered every question with great information and patience. All and all it was a good experience. The major takeaway for us was that the food was over salted which is the reason for my four star vs five. And also a note of contention, if you are looking to replicate a truly Italian feel, have a choice of a house red or white offered in a carafe style serving. This would go a long way with people who truly understand authentic style Italian dining. Good spot. We will try again some day.

Wow wow, wow—how has La Bottega escaped me until now? Well, for certain we will be back! Soup of the day, perfect. Penne alla vodka, delicious. Sandwiches and chips, fantastic. The spirits options are plentiful and excellent selections. A must try is the bruschetta and antipasto platter if you like deli options. It is clear that everything which is served is prepared with great care and with the diners in mind. Fresh ingredients are used, serving sizes accommodate people’s preferences and are served in portions as they should be. In my opinion, nothing was overdone, the richness and complement of the flavors was balanced beautifully. Such an awesome dining experience! The deli counter inside is delightful and with the Italian music playing subtly and soothingly in the background, you can enjoy the full experience of your outing to this restaurant. There is a wine room in the back of the deli also. You can tell the employees enjoy where they work as service was amazing! The decor, the atmosphere, the food, the whole experience was so enjoyable! If on a budget, you can find enjoyable options which will well satisfy you. Be sure to sit on the patio weather permitting—you will feel as if you are transported to a city or town in Europe, it completes the whole experience! More photos to come on my next visit here…

Google
Quaint little restaurant with great food. Arrived into town in the evening and was searching for a nice place to eat solo. Came across La Bottega in my Yelp search and decided to give it a try. The food and service did not disappoint. My server was very attentive and consistently checked up on me to make sure I was doing okay. I ordered their Cavatappi dish (which I was told was seasonal) and I can hands down say probably one of the best pasta dishes I've had in ages. Got a couple orders of bread (because carbs are life) and a Caesar salad with a glass of wine. Everything was delicious and perfectly executed. When I left at the end of the night my belly was definitely happy. Will be coming back when I am in town again.

Google
Everything is delicious here! My favorites are the Gorgonzola cheesecake (it’s a savory cheese cake) served with bread. The sandwiches are our favorite Saturday lunch. It’s a must visit for anyone in the area!

Google
Been here twice and the quality of the food is great. They aren't stingy with the meat when you order a sandwich. Everything on their menu is good and taste fresh. Im a picky eater and try this place. Also the bread taste like they make it but not sure. Service is good. They do deserve a good review and I'll be coming back.

Google
This cute little restaurant reminded me of a restaurant we went to in Boston in little Italy. The service was wonderful and we really enjoyed it. Our food was a bit salty but still yummy. It might have been the day. We will definitely try again . The tiramisu was yummy.

Autumn Smyth

Google
This was my second time enjoying dinner here. Both times the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
What a gem! Been here twice now and each time left with a happy tummy. Started with the olive plate and table bread as appetizers, which both were great, then moved on to the Penne alla Vodka and beef ribs over mashed potatoes. I would give the penne pasta four out of five stars, but the beef ribs over mashed potatoes was the star of the show! Tender, delicious, full of flavor and immensely enjoyed. Finished off with the creme brulee and pistachio cookie. The creme brulee was perfectly done, the cookie was a little dry and crumbly but tasted fine. Really enjoyed the dinner. It's a casual feel to the dining room, since your basically eating in a deli, but everyone is friendly. I can see why there's usually a line to get in. Slay all day!!

Adam P.

Yelp
Amazing service, while there was a wait, it was well managed and we were seated quickly. We ordered the huckleberry crème brûlée and tiramisu and both were 10/10!! The interior is a little rustic and cute.

Karen H.

Yelp
Last night I ordered the steelhead for dinner and I must say it was one of the best meals I have ever had. I hope they keep it on the menu for as long as possible because I need to have it again and again. Karen Hopson

Yelp
It's not easy to find Italian food around here that's not a chain. Found this place off a recommendation in a fb group. A cute spot where you can eat inside or out. Everything on the menu just sounded so good. I went with the half vodka pasta & added sausage & my boyfriend got the smoked mushroom ravioli & added meatballs. Wow, just wow. Both dishes were so good. The ravioli had that umami flavor, just so delicious. The sausage was the perfect addition to the vodka pasta. Probably one of the best sausages I've ever had, still haven't stopped thinking about it. The half portion was perfect for lunch, but greedily it was so good I wished I got the bigger one. Service was great, can't wait to go back.

Christy L.

Yelp
Super friendly service, good wine great pasta. Do I really need to say more? We will definitely be back!

Katherine W.

Yelp
Service was amazing! Such a cute quaint space. Small, Cute outdoor seating if wanted. Food was stellar! Ravioli was delish and the wine was superb. Def worth the stop!

Darla D.

Yelp
Wait was not too long for a Friday afternoon lunch. Service was great. Our meals were delicious. Two wines two beers, bread, one full entrée one half entree, and the full-size Caesar to split with one tiramisu to go under $150 including 20% tip Hubby loved the lasagna bolognese, my spaghetti marinara and meatballs were perfect. As good as any NYC little Italy eatery.

Kevin E.

Yelp
This place was the cutest thing. Located on a street we would have liked to explore more. The restaurant was lively, but not too noisy so you could still have a conversation. It sold single cold beers and had an extensive wine store in the back, Including small bottles. It also had a deli section so you could make a great charcuterie board for your home entertainment. But we were traveling through and wanted to have a sit down dinner. The food was just awesome. We had a smoked mushroom ravioli that was so rich and delicious! We ordered a half portion which was equivalent to a full portion other places. The fish was cooked to perfection so that it was crisp on the outside and not dry inside. It was plated with roasted potatoes that were also perfectly cooked, crunchy outside and soft inside. The beans were still crunchy. The tomato based sauce was sort of like a fancy ketchup for the potatoes in a good way. Bread is not included, but is reasonably priced. The only weakness was the pacing. It was a little slow for us. Definitely want to go back when we are in the area.

Yelp
Yes, yes, yes. La Bottega is a must visit in Vancouver. This cute Italian market transports you into an authentic dining experience. With a grab and go counter for all of your meat, cheese, and dessert needs you can be set to go in minutes. But we decided to dine in and the food lived up to the hype. We started with the decadent appetizer of the Gorgonzola cheesecake and a local bottle of Pinot Noir. The half portion main dishes of Penne a la Vodka, spaghetti and meatballs, and Aglio e Olio spaghetti were perfect size and authentically delicious. Their gluten free replacement pasta was also a great substitute. We wrapped up our meal with cannolis and an airy and sweet strawberry and peach Tavoletta. I cannot express how delicious this was. Amazing service, a great atmosphere, and a lovely local spot to visit. Give it a try!

Leo N.

Yelp
Everything I've had here so far is excellent. Love their roasted corned beef sandwich and the mushroom ravioli. Very consistent on the quality of their food and the staff is very friendly.

Cindy R.

Yelp
Delicious lunch! Service was excellent. Street parking. The serving of clams were generous and tasty. Usually, appetizers are scant. This was more like an entree. Loved the house dressing on the Caesar salad. I have seen other restaurants prepare it in front of me. Although they didn't, it did taste fresh. Which I appreciated. We ordered a half order of the ravioli. Wished we ordered a full plate. It was THAT good. I knew the lasagna was going to be a big portion, so we held back on ordering the larger portion of the lasagna. Our attempt to control our portions. The lasagna was good. My husband said I make better lasagna. But it's a lot of work. So I appreciated the lasagna more than he did. I love a lasagna with a lot of sauce. It held up well. Didn't fall apart. And the blend of spices, sauce, and cheese was lovely. The tiramisu was good. I've had better. If you like a tiramisu that's mild. Not too sweet. And you can't taste the liqueur. Than this is the tiramisu for you. The ambience was okay. Not romantic. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our meal. In fact, I posted the pictures on my Facebook page, and my two daughters, and their mom-in-law (eldest daughter's) are going to dinner this week, at La Bottega. Of course I'm going! I am curious to see if the transition of ownership will be seamless to customers. The previous owners sold this restaurant. However, the employees and menu will be retained. Definitely try the appetizers, entrees, wine, and desserts at this restaurant. CHEERS!

Dianne M.

Yelp
I placed a to go order for spaghetti at 6:40 pm and was told it would be ready by 7:11pm I showed up at 7:05 expecting a short wait and its now 7:25 pm and still don't have my food! I could have went to the grocery store, drove home and made my own spaghetti at this point and saved the $50 I spent on spaghetti!

John R.

Yelp
Food is always excellent, great service and ambience. My fav Italian restaurant in Vancouver

Robert C.

Yelp
Great ambiance, awesome patio seating. Quiet and perfect for a date night. Food has always been top notch. I've tried almost all the items on the menu and never been disappointed once while eating here. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your visit is extra special. Their knowledge on wine is really spectacular and they always help pick out the best bottle (not just the most expensive one!)

Pamela F.

Yelp
This little Italian restaurant and market is bustling for good reason. I honestly don't understand why popular places like this don't just adopt a reservation system. We ended up waiting for 50 minutes for a table, but the wait was made a bit less painful since they wisely serve wine while you wait. (Brilliant!) Once seated ~ precisely 50 minutes after adding our names to the wait list ~ service was friendly but a little hit and miss timing-wise. The bread with oil and vinegar was pretty mediocre. She loved her mixed salad (especially the pickled carrots) but my Caesar was more cheese than salad. It was pretty ridiculous, and I LOVE cheese. The balance was just all wrong. The winner of the whole meal was hands down the bucatini carbonara with guanciale. Just incredible! She got the spaghetti with oil and garlic with added prawns but it was unfortunately way too spicy for her to eat. (I tried it and I like spice but it was even too spicy for my taste.) They made it right by just bringing some plain spaghet with oil and garlic (and more shrimp) but by the time it was served, we were pretty much done and ready for our check. Made for good leftovers, though. With all of this said, I would likely give this place another try.

Mallory I.

Yelp
So so amazing. The ambience, the staff, the FOOD, the wine selection. This is our new favorite place. I got the wild boar Ragu and wow. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you've been wanting to go, do it. Worth every penny.

Penny S.

Yelp
I met a friend at this cute little Italian eatery in Uptown. The service was excellent and attentive. We both ordered a half order of the Spring Salad, featuring baby greens, strawberries, candied walnuts, sugar snap peas and a mild creamy feta that didn't overpower the bright flavors. It had good flavor. I only wish the strawberries had been our local vibrant red ones that were in season at the time. These were pale pink and a bit tired. We ordered a side of bread (too bad they charge for it. More generous restaurants include it with the meal. It was actually cold when it came out. Refrigeration dries bread out-and who likes cold bread?). Ok I'm being nit picky and I still enjoyed the bread. My friend got the marinara spaghetti (she didn't complain nor did she swoon in ectacy. She didn't remark about it at all). I got the Penne with Vodka cream sauce. It was good, but very subtle in flavor. I would opt for something else next time, but I enjoyed it and the portion was generous enough to take home half of it. We shared the pecan caramel tarte, which had a little chocolate in it. It was reminiscent of pecan pie. The caramel oozed nicely onto the plate. I'd go back again but it's pricy and nothing I ate was swoon-worthy. So...I can't give it 5 stars.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
One of my favorite Italian spots in Vancouver. Great ambiance. Large wine selection and Italian soda options. Service is good and the food is amazing. Slightly on the higher price range but you get what you pay for and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Daphne S.

Yelp
The pasta here was so good. It was cooked perfectly. It was perfectly creamy. I ate the entire thing. I was a bit bummed because I would've loved leftovers. It was a little expensive but I think worth the try. Service was outstanding. The outdoor seating was perfect and plenty. I would definitely come back.

Karl A.

Yelp
What a great meal! We were craving Italian and La Bottego was a perfect pick! We got a table inside (the patio would be a great option on the right day). Our server Kate did and awesome job of taking care of us. We started with an appetizer, the bruschetta was fantastic. The toppings all tasted clean and fresh. We did a couple of half orders for our main courses. The Aglio e Olio was amazing! The pasta was cooked perfectly and had the perfect balance of flavors. The garlic complimented, without overpowering. The pelle alla vodka was my favorite. I could eat that all day long! The half servings were still plenty big, but allowed us to try the desserts out. The cannoli was light and crispy. Sooooo good!!! We both agreed we will definitely be back to try more options out! Great food, great location, great service!

Yolanda A.

Yelp
Fantastic place! Didn't get pictures this time. Ordered the Mushroom and Sausage pizza and the Parma Ham Sandwich on Focaccia. So delicious! The Focaccia itself is perfection. Service was excellent. Don't forget to get some gelato!

Debby P.

Yelp
It was my first time at La Bottega and I can't wait to bring my husband back to try other things on the menu. I'd come back again just for the Gorgonzola Cheesecake and Smoked Mushroom Ravioli. Holy moly were those unexpectedly delicious as appetizers. I had the Giuseppe sandwich which was straightforward and delicious. The shaved prosciutto and salami were buttery smooth and complimented well by the fresh mozza, tomatoes and basil. The ciabatta from Grand Central Bakery was perfectly crusty and then chewy on the inside. My mom had the Aglio e Olio and enjoyed it although she said it was a little on the dry side. For dessert we shared the Tavoletta with seasonal fruit which currently is raspberry and peaches. Served warmed alla mode, along with a Caffè Umbria Americano, I could not have asked for a better ending to an amazing lunch.

Sarah T.

Yelp
Really good food and very nice waiters! I thought the pasta and salads were super yummy.

Wendell R.

Yelp
First time eating at La Bottega with some friends. We loved the vibe walking into the restaurant. We got there at 5pm which seemed perfect considering how crowded they got into our dinner. The waitresses and hosts were very polite and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed and took the time to answers our questions. When we weren't quite ready they patiently came back to check on us. We're ordered and our food came to our table surprisingly fast. The food was hot and had the eye appeal you're looking for when eating. We ordered the Wild Steelhead with Risotto, the SMOKED MUSHROOM RAVIOLI made up of Mushrooms, Leeks, Rosemary, Balsamic Cream Sauce and the Merguez which was made of Lamb, Ground Beef & Pork, Harissa, Tomato, Onion, Garlic, Farfalle Pasta, Pecorino. I can only review the Merguez which was amazing. The sauce was properly done, creamy and perfectly seasoned. The lamb, ground and pork was so tender. They all three went well together in the dish. Overall it was a tasty, fun and enjoyable time. We'll definitely be back sooner rather than later.

Cheryl B.

Yelp
Really quality tasty food. My husband had one of the best sandwiches ever (you get a variety of yummy and interesting items to create your own masterpiece) and I had some lovely mushroom ravioli. We split a small salad, definitely enough for 2. I love that they have some favorites prepackaged to go and a nice deli section, very convenient.

Freddy P.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Servers were helpful. So far it's the best Italian food I've had in Washington.

Brandon M.

Yelp
La Bottega - oh how you make my heart sing. Coming from the Midwest in a town known for its BBQ and Italian roots... it's hard to impress me. Don't understand? Watch Fargo Season 1 and you'll get it... Kansas City, MO has some ::deep:: Italian roots and therefore, it's Italian game is strong. I chuckle when we eat Italian outside of KCMO because... it's just weak... ...La Bottega has proven me wrong. First, their staff is just a joy. Truly, y'all, hi. Thanks for being so kind and lovely. The ambiance is stunning. You wouldn't think it by walking in but once you've been seated, you'll understand. Wine choices are plentiful. I always go for "a glass" and that has never once remained singular. The menu is absolutely perfect without being too much / too little. The food is RIDICULOUS. I'm the guy that leaves with a box, always. Never once have I left with a to-go box from La Bottega. Ladies, I will walk out still chewing my food chubby-boy style without regrets! DELISH! I'm a huge fan of their charcuterie board... I don't care for cured meats and cheeses are a picky point for me... never once have I had anything I didn't LOVE on the board... more than once we've considered ordering a second board and calling it dinner! You can't and won't go wrong - head over to La Bottega and say hello for me!

Scott L.

Yelp
New owners are doing a great job. Keeping it real and keeping the good. Solid place for a date night

Emily H.

Yelp
I unfortunately have no photos to provide because we devoured every last bite before I was able to take a picture! Lovely atmosphere, phenomenal service, and delightfully authentic and tasty food. Highly recommend for a casual dinner or cozy date night!

Angel F.

Yelp
I've been here a few times but only recently got sandwiches. I'm not big on italian food, but what I had was pretty good.

Eileen W.

Yelp
Excellent place, consistently great food and service.large wine menu and take away soups and pasta.

Curtis B.

Yelp
One of our faves in the 'Couv for at least 10 years. Always consistent in quality and friendly service. The menu is limited but what they do is done well. The wife always has the Smoked Mushroom Ravioli in a balsamic cream sauce. Damn fine. Being the adventurous type, I mix it up between the spaghetti in some form or the lasagna. The salads are wonderful, everything is well presented. Go here!

Joanne S.

Yelp
Came on a Friday for lunch for the first time, there was a little wait. I think it was 15-20min wait for a party of 4. It's on the smaller side so when we got there all the table were full but we were seated shortly. The lemonade was great and made fresh. They shake it for you at the table. The clam chowder was amazing... wasn't able to get the picture since we were so hungry. We finished it too fast. The bread was a la crate. We ordered two servings which was good. The pastas were super yummy. Would love to try some other ones. I got the carbonara with the sausage which was good but on the heavier side. I tried my friends aglio e olio with meatballs. It was perfection!

Donny C.

Yelp
The entryway is a deli with cheeses and meats, along with fresh pasta. To go convince options. Entree was amazing and I loved that lunch. Highly recommend a stop by.

Risse P.

Yelp
This has been my favorite restaurant in SW Washington. We went right before 5pm and got seated right away. We bought a bottle of gewürztraminer, two appetizers, two entrees and two desserts for just over $100. Everything was consistently delicious and the service was great! This restaurant is laid back and gives the feel of being somewhere in Europe. If you are vegan, get the AGLIO e OLIO without cheese. I cannot wait to come back!

Peggy M.

Yelp
Finally visited La Bottega for dinner with friends this evening. We had a lovely dinner that started out with the Gorgonzola Cheesecake. It was perfect for the 4 of us to share. Served with sourdough toasts and marinara. Smooth and creamy! I had the Citrus Salad next. Yum! The blood and Cara Cara oranges with shaved fennel and honey vinaigrette was perfectly balanced. My husband had the traditional Caesar. Our friends had the oyster chowder and lentil salad. They all reported they wanted to kick their plates! For my entree I ordered the Smoked Mushroom Ravioli. The balsamic cream sauce was really good but if you're not a balsamic fan you will not like it. It was strong and smokey. I loved it, but I do love balsamic. My husband got the Fettuccine alla Panna and added sausage and our friends got the Spaghetti Marinara. Both reported they were delicious. For dessert both couples split the mocha cheesecake which was smooth and rich with a chocolate cookie crunch. Our server was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is casual. We had to wait for a few minutes and enjoyed chatting with the employees behind the cheese case. They have a nice selection of cheeses and Italian cured meats. It was a lovely evening with friends and the good food made it extra special. We will be back!

Annette R.

Yelp
This is a regular dinner spot for gluten free pasta. I love that servers remember we love lemons with our water. I am hoping they decide to have gluten free bread for sandwiches one day soon so I will be here for lunch too!

Chris D.

Yelp
This is a nice little restaurant and deli in a nice stretch of Vancouver. Being greeted upon entry the staff were very friendly. The decor is Italian and there is a wine room and some nice art and meat hanging and all sorts of atmosphere. All of it though was kinda a facade for the food. I was remarkably unimpressed. The spaghetti was bland, i got meatballs and for $9 you get 4 of the blandest driest smallest meatballs Ive ever had. Wife got a dish that was supposed to have garlic but we could barely taste it. The bread even was extra $$ but they give you olive oil and vinegar cause its so dry and cold that its hard to eat without it. Id come back for the staff and wine - maybe some desert as the carrot cake and cannoli we got were good. Save the money on dinner though.

Jessica O.

Yelp
Such a cute little place! It has such a classic old school Italian shop feel. Amazing wine selection, with a little wine shop in the back you can browse. I came in for lunch and got the chicken bacon sandwich which was delicious! BUT the best part was Gorgonzola Cheesecake! So light and fluffy with the best marinara sauce in town! The servers are so incredibly nice and even box your food for you! I really wanted to try a dessert which looked so good, but I was too full! Highly recommend.

Liane C.

Yelp
This was delicious. Everything was fresh. The staff was lovely and open sharing tips about the area and the menu. The menu is seasonal and local. The atmosphere is mildly European, relaxed, but well appointed. Soooo many wines at various price points. Beer and cider as well. Highly recommend.

Terrance S.

Yelp
Liked the vibe of this place. I dine on Main for breakfast all the time so this was a pleasant surprise. The wine cellar was a nice touch with great vino's. The food was solid, but I think I should've went with something other then the lasagne. The chowder was tasty and the broth was hearty. The pasta was flavorful and a nice portion. The staff was warm and inviting and the bottle price of the Prosecco was affordable and quality. Not the $2 bottle with the incredible markup. We'll definitely be back to also try the sandwich bar. Saw some great choices on the sandwich board. Great spot for date night.

Dave C.

Yelp
Food is great, service is good, wine selection is good. Tables are almost on top of each other. Kinda squishy.

Liz L.

Yelp
My family has eaten here before but it was my first time. They hyped it up with their experience. Previously they got to sit in the back room, enjoyed everything etc. lol My experience wasn't up to the hype. The thing that saved the experience for me was our waitress. She did a stellar job and I'd come back for her. But overall, I gotta say I'm not impressed. It's average Italian food, but per usual I cook better at home. I got the Caesar salad. It was ok. For $13 it makes me wanna skip. They did honor my request to swap the dressing cuz I hate raw anchovies. Next time I'd go for the Caprese salad. I had a couple bites of that. Everything was fresh. I feel like that was the best dish and bang for your buck. Another family member got the mushroom raviolis. It was ok. But it tasted like it was filled smoked Gouda cheese and it didn't compliment the mushroom sauce. Kinda throws off the flavor. The person who ordered it doesn't like Gouda so it wasn't the greatest experience. I am not sure if it says it's Gouda cheese in the menu description but they should add it because most people expect typical cheeses (ricotta/mozzarella/parmigiana/etc.). I also asked for a side of meatballs and chicken to up the protein and to share around the table. The meatballs were frozen and I'd bet money were not homemade. They are really small and $5/ea meatball. The chicken was literally chicken breast...Id bet money it was some Costco rotisserie chicken shredded up into a cup portion. I hate Costco chicken and it makes me gag. It has a distinct smell especially a few days later as left overs. When i was dropping off family they commented that they suspected it was Costco chicken too because of that smell. Lol it is what it is. I'm a foodie snob. I judge harshly. I'm sure it's great overall, but I just wasn't impressed. If I come back for another family meal out, I'll build my own sammich. That seemed decent for the price. And they did say they could make it lettuce wrapped or over a bed of lettuce. They offer full or half portions for them which is cool. I also really love that you can buy groceries and deli meats and such. I would definitely buy some cold cuts to go and use the ingredients to make my own Italian at home. Which save a shopping trip for any speciality meats. Oh-this was for a birthday dinner. We were hoping to make a reservation but that's not a thing. There may be a bit of a wait if you go during peak hours. Just FYI for others.

Yelp
I cannot stress this enough - this place rocks. I kind of wanted to keep it a secret from all my friends and family so that when I come in on a friday at 4 PM I don't have to wait long for a table but I could no longer gatekeep this location. I've eaten pretty much everything on the menu and it's all so freaking delish. I have yet to find something I don't like. The staff is really kind and tons of great personalities on that team. The wait staff always is ready to answer all my dumb questions. Before you leave, check out their little treats. I always like to grab a little bon bon for the walk back to my house.

Yelp
Can't wait to come back! Great lunch prices, loved my corned beef hash sandwich. Friendly staff, great location, lots of yummy sounding items on the menu. Especially love the European cafe feel to it.

Yelp
Took a trip across the river and took my brother and new sister in law out. The ambiance of this place is amazing. We walked through the wine doors to the back of the restaurant. It felt like you were being transported. Very tasteful place for a beautiful date night or special occasion. Now lets start off with FOOD! Table Bread, for $2 it comes with 4 pieces and a plate for vinegar and oil. Nice touch and for a small price, nice way to start off. Bruschetta- $12 This was the only picture I forgot for the night. But it wasn't too amazing. It was a bit too sweet to be a traditional Bruschetta. Might not get again Gorgonzola Cheesecake: THIS WAS AMAZING! I loved this app. Definitely the favorite of the night. Great to share and a beautiful dish! The flavor was on par and I could see why it was recommended. Main Entrees: 1. Oyster Clam Chowder $14- this was a lovely hot soup. The flavor was good, but way too many potatoes!! If it had less potato and more soup- would be better 2. Full Mushroom Ravioli- $20- This was an okay dish. The sauce for this dish was very VERY vinegar-y. We ended up wiping the sauce off most of it and eating just the pasta. Would probably not get this again 3. Duck Confit with Pumpkin Gnocchi- $30. This was the favorite dish of the night. Pasta was cooked perfectly. The duck was falling off the bone and the Brussels were chefs kiss! Desserts: 1. Butterscotch Pot de Crem: $9: this was such a smooth and lovely creme. I would eat these again and again. MUSR get! 2. Cannoli: this was okay! It wasnt overly sweet and it was a good combo of cream! 3. Lemon Bar: could not go wrong. Not too much tartness and good balance of sweetness. Overall, this is a nice place for a special occasion, but I personally don't see myself making this a regular place! Definitely nice to try once, but don't know if another visit is in my future, unless its for that butterscotch cream!!!

Yelp
Had I written this review two months ago, it would have been five stars. Sadly, the new owners have changed some of the recipes and the food just isn't as good. At least my usual order of Caesar salad and Vodka pasta with meatballs wasn't. My husband said his ravioli's were mediocre. Not a word either of us would have used to describe the food here prior to this visit. So incredibly disappointing. Three stars because the service is good, but if the new owner is reading this, please bring back the old recipes!
