We spent $100 here expecting an authentic Italian meal, and it was honestly the worst Italian dining experiences we've ever had. Both pizzas came out very overcooked and dry, the eggplant was undercooked with a sour, unpleasant sauce, and the overall quality felt far below what you’d expect for the price. When we politely brought this to the manager’s attention and even showed him photos, Victor looked at them and said, “Oh, it’s not as bad as I thought”—which is deflection of admittance. Said another table nearby was also served the bad pizza and we were told there’s a “new chef.” That’s not an excuse when people are paying good money for dinner on a Saturday evening!! Save your new chef for weekdays when its slower! The negative vibes of this place put it right in the food. The chef looked at the pizza and had a bad attitude- clearly they dont want to work. So we wont ever be back! Servizio non amichevole per le famiglie!! This place used to be reliable, but it’s gone way downhill. The food lacks authenticity, the staff seems indifferent (not Italian), and the atmosphere of true Italian hospitality is completely gone. For a restaurant charging this much, serving food that tastes worse than a frozen TV dinner is unacceptable. Date night turned into frustration, disappointment, and was ruined. Yes- bad food does do that!!! There are plenty of places that still care about quality and tradition — this just isn’t one of them anymore.

I always enjoy La Casa pizza. It never disappoints. I picked up a pizza for takeout on Leavenworth. It comes down to training your staff on taking the time to great and acknowledge a client. The gal with pink hair at the out take counter needs some training. Simple thank you and a smile is not too hard. I appreciate your attention.

What a great experience at La casa on Leavenworth. Food was just so tasty and u must try the excellent pizza...Genoa even without meat....OMG outstanding and great ravioli and wonderful meatballs. Served elegantly! Owners and servers are first class!!! Don't miss this comfortable dining experience!

I''ve been going to La Casa for almost 10 years now. And the food has always been amazing. Services in-restaurant are top notch too. But the last 2 times I called to order my usual: meat lasagna with added garlic shrimps, the person who took my call keep insisting that they don't have garlic shrimp add-on and she was looking at the menu "right now". Made me feel a little gaslit. I'll keep coming back because I love this place so much, hence the 5 stars review. But I'm writing this hopefully someone sees it.

Toasted raviolis are amazing!! The spaghetti was fine…not a lot of tomato taste that I typically like. I probably don’t need to get the pizza next time…not a lot of flavor. It was fine. They were busy so service was a little slow but staff was friendly.

First trip to La Casa and certainly won’t be the last. One of the best pizzas we have experienced. The young lady at the register was so helpful and sweet while ordering and Tony was very welcoming. Some high level quality and service. We’ll be back! Thank you La Casa

Pizza was very good, but not worth the $35 that I payed for it. Pretty small. Also, the guy that took my order seemed kinda rude. I sat in the bar while I waited for my pizza to be ready and drank 2 glasses of beer. The bartender was very respectful. He provided me with very good service unlike the guy that took my order.

I am struggling to understand the negative reviews on here? We were here this weekend with a large party. Everything was so good. The party room was a nice space, the service was good. I haven't been here in probably 30 years and this weekend reminded me this is an oldie but a goodie. We will be back. Thank you Danielle for being such a gracious human! Since we haven't been to this particular location since Covid, we were really looking forward to a delicious dinner. Two words. Epic. Fail. The order: One large hamburger pizza with black olives and mozzarella cheese. A small salad with ranch dressing, and a side order of spaghetti. The result: An overcooked slab of pizza dough covered in hamburger meat, topped off with a tablespoon of black olives. The sauce....no where to be found. The cheese...we are still convinced that they forgot it all together. Let's not forget the salad. $5.95 for a half a head of lettuce with 2 olives on top and a package of salad dressing. No carrots, no onions, no croutons...absolutely pitiful. $57 in total. Needless to say, not impressed and doubtful we would ever go back.

Server took our orders. There were 5 of us. She didn't write anything down. I ordered the chicken parm panini received something completely different and was told "oh not sure what happened but will take another 7mins to get you a new one". So everyone was done eating when my order finally came Side salad had so much dressing on it I couldn't eat. My friend ordered a lemon drop martini and it was awful she couldn't drink it. Another friend ordered a pizza to go when we all ordered and she forgot that. Dine in service not good!

We got La Casa to feed a hungry crowd on Saturday night. I ordered online--super easy! I usually avoid carryout here because their parking lot gives me hives, but I saw they now have designated carside pickup spots. Hopeful, I placed a hefty $160 order and braced for battle. When we arrived, the lot was completely packed. No designated pickup spots in sight. Luckily, we snagged the last spot and called in. Then... we waited. And waited. Ten minutes past pickup time, I was about to head inside when I spotted confused staff wandering the lot. I jumped out, helped them find us, and finally secured the goods. Once home, everything smelled amazing--except we noticed something tragic. No toasted ravioli. Our favorite appetizer had been forgotten. I didn't bother calling--it wasn't worth a 20-minute drive and parking rage round two. Still a bummer. Now, the food: Honey Sriracha Wings: DELICIOUS. Sticky, crispy, sweet-heat perfection. Total crowd favorite. Pizza: Tasty as always, but the "large" pizza is more like a medium. We should've ordered two--zero leftovers. Pasta: Mostaccioli and penne pollo balsamico were solid. Cheese ravioli in garlic cream sauce was good, but I'd skip the primavera veggies next time (too much squash for me). Minestrone Soup: Meh. Could've used more seasoning. The roll that came with it? Ice cold. Like, borderline frozen. Side salads & meatballs: Nothing to write home about, but they did their job. La Casa is an Omaha classic, and I get the hype. But between the parking drama and missing ravioli, this visit was a little hit or miss. We'll be back--probably for wings--but maybe on a night we feel emotionally prepared for the pickup process.

If you're from the area, you'll appreciate the history of La Casa and how they became an Omaha staple. There is not one bad thing on their menu and the food is always solid. The service is wonderful and I love the vibe of the restaurant. Their Classic Hamburger pizza with both cheeses has been my go to and it was my dear Grandma's favorite pizza as well. Before she had passed away, we surprised her with La Casa pizza and onion rings and she said 'this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.' I have made many memories at La Casa and it will forever be one of Omaha's treasured gems.

After a day of traveling and settling in with our hosts in Omaha, we made our way out to dinner. La Casa was the restaurant of choice and a decent one at that! An historic institution to the area, La Casa boasts its' history in photos throughout the space, creating a homey vibe. The interior is cozy, yet spacious and allows for parties of all sizes. Our hungry party of 5, opted for a round of appetizers (garlic bread and toasted ravioli) and salads before diving into our 2 large pizzas and a house made lasagna. I'll admit the crust on the pizzas is light, fluffy and crunchy, which made the entire thing, but I found the pizza to be a little lackluster. Nothing to write home about, in my opinion. The lasagna was stacked high and tasted good but definitely heavy - so avoid if wanting a lighter meal. Desserts here are decent too - we ordered a round of the zappole for home, which I apparently liked even more after a few cocktails. Service was okay - clearly overwhelmed from the Friday night rush, but our waters were refilled consistently, and wine delivered after a bit of wait. Not sure I'd go out of my way to return, but a unique introduction to Omaha.

This legendary 1953 Italian restaurant on 44th & Leavenworth in Omaha is definitely worth checking out. Walking in you will see a lot of their accomplishments on the walls over the years. Impressive. Our family of 5 walked in for lunch & was greeted & seated right away. They have a long menu list of all your favorite Italian food options, plus pizza lunch special: 2 slices of house select pizza & salad $9.50! The only down side to their pizza special is they prepare it early so they can have it ready quickly for their lunch rush, but that doesn't allow for any alterations, such as requesting light cheese or no olives. Their pizza slices are approx 4x4 squares & they were served what looked overcooked, but my family said it was delicious! I chose their Eggplant Parmesan that was very tasty & covered in cheeses-Romano & Mozzarella. I also tried their Chicken Parmesan that was a nice piece of chicken lightly breaded & topped with cheese & Marinara. These dishes come with a side choice of either spaghetti, mostaccioli, vegetable or fries. A favorite of mine is their toasted ravioli appetizer, filled with meat & meat sauce. Worth trying! For desserts we tried wedding cake & cheese cake. Both fresh & YUM!

Finally came back to the OG La Casa after 5 years. As our last experience was insanely awful. I am pleased to say tonight was great! Our server was very friendly and kind. The food was hot and delicious! Sadly I wanted eggplant parmigiana but they were out of eggplant so I went with good ol chicken Parm. All is good again! Amen!

I have always heard about the hamburger pizza here but had never tried it. I can report that it was really delicious and unique! The hamburger blended with the tomato sauce perfectly and the Romano cheese hit the right notes Even the crust was just right! Thin and crunchy and buttery. It reminded me of the original Chef Boyardee pizza kit - in a good way!! - that my mom used to make with hamburger.

We love the pizza at La Casa, but we made the mistake of ordering the family size salad for $20 tonight for pick up. When we got it home, we found it was nothing but plain lettuce with a couple of olives, nothing more. If I were just rating the Family Salad, I would give it a 1 or a 0. Their profit margin on our salad had to be $18 to $19.

Your restaurant advertised Neapolitan-style pizza. I'm sorry but I was stationed in Naples Italy for 2 years and your pizza is a cheap fake and not what you advertise. You need to change your ads and website before I file a complaint for false advertising

La Casa is only a few miles from our neighborhood but this was the first time we had been here. It won't be the last. The tables are nicely spaced out so you don't feel like your're on top of each other. The ceiling looks like tin stamped-old-timey tiles and helps keep the noise down, although it was kind of noisy when we were there. I ordered a glass of wine, which turned out to be sweeter than I liked--Valkenburg Dorfender. Lesson learned. Bookguy ordered Penne shrimp Calabrian with extra shrimp. The presentation was impressive as the waiter plated it at the table from a casserole dish. Bookguy thought it was delicious and not lacking in shrimp. I ordered a small plate of mostaccioli with marinara. I liked how they offer smaller portions. Our entrees came with a standard dinner salad and rolls. We both enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. I also liked how the waiter, Trent, whisked my leftovers away to box up to take home. Somehow this is more refined than just giving us a box to load at the table. All in all we had a great dinner.

Have had the pleasure for eating here before for DINNER and was delighted with the variety, service and tasty meal. since this was KY previous experience, I thought I'd stop in during my brief lunch break. I would NOT recommend the lunch specials. Chose the pizza pasta combo and was disappointed . Pizza was burnt on the edges and the spaghetti tasted like it came from a can. Will give dinner another try but I'd warn against lunch for sure. Not up to LA Casa standards I don't believe.

We did not like this food. This is our personal taste, and I'm sure others find it delicious, but it was not for us. The server was pleasant and I enjoyed watching the staff interact with people they they obviously saw often. The restaurant was a lovely, authentic looking Italian eatery.

Food quality and portions unacceptable. The table beside us also had problems with quality and quantity of food. Decided to leave and eat elsewhere and paid the bill. As we were leaving I mentioned to the manager that I've eaten there before with good experiences. Tonight the food was bad. More like end of night scrape the pot with warm salads. She said all items are made fresh and individually. Offered no apology. I told her I wasn't looking for compensation. I just thought she should know.Her reply was I needed to talk to the the server it wasn't her problem. Offered no apology and implied that we should eat somewhere else. We just left. She couldn't have cared less Food was terrible and server was not experienced with too many tables. Won't go ther again.

First off, I love La Casa...a true Omaha classic. It's square pizzas and the neon light sign out front are a beacon to weary Leavenworth travelers. Honestly, it may have been here when Lewis and Clark came through, who knows. Inside is nice, a bit nicer than one might expect from a normal pizza joint. I usually opt for takeout or curbside, but there's bar seating and plenty of table seating. The pizza is nostalgic, and a classic in Omaha, but it is by no means the greatest pizza ever made. They use romano cheese as a standard, which adds to the unique taste and texture. It's just a very unique staple of Omaha, and I definitely crave it from time to time. Overall, a must try if you're an Omaha resident.

I have to say I quit going here for quite a while, because pizzas were so inconsistent. However, the last two times have been amazingly perfect! Pizza has been perfectly done both times which makes me very happy. I hope it continues! I know a lot of people have been saying they are inconsistent, but I think they may have figured it out... Yay love, Lacasa!

Tried this long standing Omaha Italian restaurant, and I can say great pizza. We did an order of onion rings and the "4 cheese" pizza both were exceptional. The rings were fresh, lightly battered (almost tempura) - the pizza had great flavor and a light, crispy crust that was thick on the edge and thin in the center. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and like the rest of the staff, friendly and efficient. The dining room was bright, clean and nicely decorated. A great first impression will bring us back to try their variety of Italian dish - they have many vegetarian options.

I used to get la casa all the time growing up and it was delicious. Took my girlfriend here to show her somewhere I used to love as a kid and the pizza was.... Disappointing to say the least. For the price I was expecting a pizza with at least a little flavor. The crust was great, but everything on top of it tasted like it wasn't even seasoned. It basically tasted like a Romano cheese pizza with borderline uncooked onions on it. I don't know if it was a one off bad experience, but we probably won't be coming back. I swear I had la casa a few years ago and the pizza was amazing. Also the server refused to let me pay for extra mushrooms on my pizza because it would be too soggy? We eat pizza with a fork anyways so it wasn't even a problem. If I'm paying for a 30 dollar pizza to begin with and want to give you more money so the pizza is how I like it just let me??? Overall really dissapointed. I very rarely leave a restaurant feeling like I wasted money, and this time I did.

Wanted to drop a quick 5 stars for service - We placed a to go order of 4 pizzas and some onion rings - they realized they messed up (wrong toppings) 2 of the pizza's, so they cane out and told us, said they would be giving up the 2 "mess ups" alongside the 4 from our order, and while we waited, since the onion rings were ready and all the pizza's weren't, they gave us onion rings to eat while we waited (and remade onion rings so they were fresh when we got our pizza's).

An Omaha staple and favorite. If you're looking for thin crust tavern style pizza, you can't go wrong with La Casa. They also have great homemade lasagna and pastas. As well as classic Italian desserts. A wonderful place to get together for happy hour, a weekly dinner, or a celebration.

I highly recommend the original La Casa, the food is amazing and the service from Trent is superb! If you want authentic Italian food theirs's truly the best! I have gone with my entire family so many times and it is a staple in our life!

La Casa has been on my list to try since I moved to omaha a couple years ago! I always thought it was a Mexican restaurant! The pizza was very good! My favorite was the hamburger. I love my hamburger really small on pizzas so this was perfect! The peppis potato pizza was surprisingly good! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about potatoes on pizza, but it WORKS. It's definitely a very thin crust pizza so if that's not your favorite crust this might not be for you. Service was fast and they had a pretty good variety of drinks. I would recommend!

This Omaha classic never disappoints. This was my first time trying the Romano fries, which are basically pasta fries. They're smothered in garlicky cheese and we ended up eating them with a fork at the end to soak up all the cheesy goodness. The Hamburger Pizza had the perfect amount of crunch and good seasoning. We got the side of Romano cheese; I sprinkled it on one of my slices and appreciated the added flavor but really enjoyed the pizza by itself. The staff was friendly and professional. Nothing above and beyond, but no complaints.

They are cutting back on food to maintain/increase profits. Now serve an egg sized 1/4 roll with salad. No bread or rolls served with pastas. Unheard of! Lasagna dishes are rarely served hot. Must be dished up from a pan setting under the warmer Broccoli lasagna for 2 had nothing but a few small broccoli stem pieces Pizza prices are very high Nice reduced wine prices on Wednesday

Like the rest of the world, COVID-19 has driven us all to takeout and our goal has been to support local businesses as much as possible. La Casa is a favorite in our household. I have dined in at this location several times, very casual, but also had good experiences. Their take-out was a hit as well, I favor a thin crust pizza which is what La Casa offers. Their specialty and build your own options are great, I know La Casa is a place we will keep in rotation.

I've been on a quest to find good pizza in Omaha since moving here in October 2020. La Casa came recommended by some of my trainees, so I gave it a shot. It's fast and location is convenient to the Med Center. As far as the pizza goes, I'm torn. The pizza itself is a little thinner than I prefer, but it was surprisingly filling. About 2/3 of a pizza was pretty filling. (I can usually put down about 1200-1500 calories in a sitting, for reference) The toppings were spot on. There could have been a touch more sauce. And the cheese was okay. But the crust is what left me scratching my head. It's got kind of a buttery/croissant like taste to it. The edge of the crust, however, had almost a burnt like texture to it though. It was tougher than I was expecting. Tough enough that I threw out most of the crust. Normally, I like to save crust to nibble on the next day. But this crust was off the mark for me. I think it's just La Casa's style though. Overall, I think it's a good pizza to grab on the way home from work. But I've got a few other places on my list before giving La Casa another go.

As others have said, La Casa is an Omaha classic with a very unique pizza style. Close to my workplace so I get takeout every now and again, usually either the classic hamburger pizza with both kinds of cheese or the lasagne. They have a convenient carry out entry for those that order online. If ordering by phone or using a gift certificate, you go to the main register. I love the thin crust. Not my very favorite pizza in the Big O but close to it. It's definitely more pricey. I wish the portion sizes, especially for the lasagna, were a bit larger so I could have some leftovers.

How cute is the sign of the famous mustached pizza man in front of La Casa? Throughout the years, I heard that this business was one of the "must-try" local, quintessential establishments in Omaha. This is a review for La Casa's takeout pizza. We planned to do a pizza and movie night and finally decided to order takeout online from La Casa! The pizza was pretty good! I really like how the thin crust has a perfect crisp. Two pizzas were enough for a group of four. While I don't consider this to be the best pizza in town, it's still pretty good!

I went to LaCasa a couple of weeks ago and I have a new favorite Pizza place. The restaurant looks clean and well maintained on the inside. I have good memories of my Dad bringing home LaCasa pizza occasionally. Fast for 50 years I finally made it to LaCasa and had a very good experience. The waiter was friendly and efficient. We ordered the fried Ravioli as an appetizer. I'd give that a 3 out of 5 just ok. We had one of the combo pizzas we ordered both the romano and parmesan cheese pizza. It's served in a rectangle shape with thin crust. That was a 5/5 experience. . One caution it was very expensive but well worth it.

UNEDDIBLE PIZZA - As we were diving through the area on our way home to Michigan, we stopped and grabbed three pizzas from LaCasa's Pizzeria. When we got them into the vehicle we noticed they intense smell, but who can mess up a pizza? We were starving and once back on the road, each had a slice of three different pizzas. They were HORRIBLE and none of us could eat them. The intense smell and cheese flavor was horrible as if it had gone bad. I called the Pizzeria to warn them something was wrong, however, the manager said, they ran low on mozzarella cheese and added four other types. They would not give us a refund and we threw them away without another bite at the next rest area. If you don't have mozzarella, you don't have pizza - close your doors!

La Casa is a Omaha staple since the 1950s. I have only been one other time, and there was a lot of drinking involved, so I don't remember. This time we went as a family. Love the neon sign outside, and the inside is really nice. We ordered the large pizza, half pepperoni half classic hamburger. It took a long time, but I can look past the wait for amazing pizza. It came out on a brown cafeteria tray. Kinda weird but that must be their thing. I'm wondering if they will do that at their new location out west opening. Anyways, I told my husband for me the pizza was a 4/10. Maybe it's just me. I didn't care for it. Super thin cracker crust, barely ANY sauce. More like a few small tomato chunks. But obviously to be in business for so long, people LOVE it. Must be preference. The new location is opening right by my house, might give it another try.

This is a long time family favorite. We usually get the specialty hamburger pizza and spicy sausage pizza to-go, both with Romano cheese. This is what keeps me coming back...Romano cheese. So much so I get a side to add on top instead of adding extra cheese because it retains the yummy Romano 'bite' better when not cooked. The crust is thin on these rectangle pizzas with tomato's as sauce. The pizzas are a little expensive (large specialty and regular medium are around $35) but are original to La Casa and can't be replicated. We've ate inside a couple times. It's a little cramped and I feel like it's slightly changed over the years but is still okay. The other dishes I've tried aren't as good as the pizza either; not bad, just prefer the pizza. BTW, these boxes fit perfectly in a Jeep Wrangler's back area. Score!

I love the family environment, the service was great, and the history is awesome. The food on the other hand is just meh. The Peppi's Potato was just not good, it was very undercooked, super raw potatoes, and way too many at that. Just plain and flavorless, very disappointing after all the hype I've heard. The Margherita Pizza was fine, nothing to bring me back tho. Our server was awesome, so no fault on anything other than just bland food. 2.5 out of 5, round up to 3

6 of us went for my birthday and the pizza was so hot and wonderful. The girl removed all of our silverware for some reason so we had to go get it. We also had to wait to ask for napkins and a towel for a water spill. But the food was great. Hamburger with both cheeses and a couple sides of Romano is the way to go. We also had onion rings at this Pacific street location. Even though the dining experience could've been better with more staff, the food made up for it. We've been going to LaCasa since they just had the Leavenworth location and later at Grover.

Wow first time here and it was fantastic we had the mozzarella sticks and a pizza and i am floored at how delicious it was. I love the thinner crust as you can taste everything better. We will be back

I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time, since it got so much publicity a while back. I rolled in solo at about the worst time possible (on a Friday night at 8 PM). The wait for a table was only about 10 - 15 minutes. The dining room was noisy. But it was the noise of a dozen or so big happy families enjoying a night out. So, that's to be expected. It took about 28 minutes for the salad to arrive. Not terrible on a busy weekend night. The salad was okay, but nothing all that special. About the time I finished the salad, the pizza came. I'd ordered the small Neoplitan Margherita pizza. I think the pricing is just a bit too high, but not horribly so. The crust was thin and crispy, just right. Not burnt at all (like other reviews mentioned). The toppings were real. Like someone actually cut up the roma tomatoes and chunks of chicken. Not like out of a can. Very tasty too. The small was just enough to fill me up. Service was very good. I'm telling you, I read all the bad reviews while waiting for a table & for my food. I was ready for an underwhelming experience like I've had at other "Omaha favorites" (I'm looking at you Cascio's). It was all very good, thank goodness.

I was told about this place by a good friend. He told me to make sure to try it before we left Omaha. The first time we had the famous Hamburger Pizza and fired ravioli. I can see why it is famous. The crust itself if something to look forward to. The most recent visit was one with pasta and cannoli. The Sausage and pepper cannolini was amazing. Can't wait to get back to Omaha and explore the menu even more.

Best pizza spot in Omaha. After baking the pizza they then grill it depending on the toppings. Tried the sandwiches out though tonight. Got the chicken parmesan panini, it was good. Next time sticking with the pizza. They threw in a free salad too, top notch joint!

As everyone knows, you're going to love it or hate it there's No in between. Quite honestly, I am team hate it I really can't stand the cheese they use. I am not a picky person or one to waste food but I genuinely cannot eat their pizza. HOWEVER they are an iconic omaha staple and have incredible service. Just because I don't personally like the taste, I don't think they deserve a bad review because they know they have a unique flavor and not everyone is going to love them. Just beware before you go- you're going to have strong feelings either way

The lasagna was not a normal lasagna with layers. This was more of a hamburger helper style with cheese on top. Tasted fine but the sauce tasted a little overcooked/burned.

I had not been to La Casa in over 10 years, but recently ordered takeout pizza as we were craving pizza. We ordered the toasted ravioli and carne Classico pizza. The order was not ready at our pick up time so we did have to wait 5 minutes. No big deal, as I would rather have to wait and have my food hot, then have it sitting for 15 minutes getting cold. We toasted raviolis were not my personal favorite. They were well-made, I just didn't feel like the filling had much flavor and was rather bland. The sauce that was provided with it was excellent, but was also cold... Would have preferred warm sauce as a side. Again, no big deal... A few seconds in the microwave fixed it. The carne Classico pizza was exactly as described. The toppings and sauce were incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, the crust was soggy and wet. I'm thinking mostly due to this being a take-out order. Also, I did not personally care for the flavor in the crust, as it was too sweet for my personal taste. Again, personal preference. Overall, Given that this was a take out order I would still recommend. Will definitely be back when we feel comfortable being in a restaurant again to give Lacasa another opportunity. Also, the staff was incredibly friendly both during ordering and during pick up. Kudos for providing great service! Thanks La Casa!

My favorite pizza place in town. The crust in the pizza is so fluffy, kind of like a crescent roll. They have a Parmesan Romano dressing that is delightful to dip the pizza in. They have great wine, toasted ravioli, I could go on! The place is very clean and always busy. We liked sitting at the bar. You have to try La Casa! The second pic is from their food truck.

This is a really good pizza option out East. I called in my order and it was ready within 20 minutes for pickup which I really appreciated. The pizza was thin and crispy and the hamburger toppings really added a nice flavor to the pizza. The onion rings were a little too oily/greasy and not as crispy and I thought they might have been. The pizza quantity is pretty small so definitely get more than one to share. The price is a little expensive for the quantity of food you get but still a great pizza nonetheless!

We came in here after being at Creighton for a presentation. The coworkers and I did a search for gluten free friendly places in the area and this one came up with pretty legit yelp reviews so we gave it a try. The atmosphere is a bit interesting. The whole building seems pretty old. The area it's in is a older part and all the shops and stores seem outdated. The inside has two different dining areas, one with a long bar. The carpeting and styling inside also seems like it could benefit from a facelift. We came during lunch and it was pretty busy but we were still seated quickly. Service was hit or miss as well. One of the servers who brought water over kind of yelled at one of my friends just for having his phone sitting where she was going to put the water. Curious. I couldn't quite tell if they were joking or what. Our server who took our order was pleasant and I was excited that I could order gluten free pastas and pizzas. Since I rarely get pasta I went for the primavera and I thought it was pretty good. The portion was plenty large and I took some home for later. The guys all got the pizza and salad lunch but all three of them were really disappointed in their meals. They said the crust was tasteless and weren't impressed with any of their topping choices. Seems from yelp that people are either in love with it or really not diggin it. I thought lunch prices were reasonable and we were able to get in and out at a relatively reasonable time to rush back to our lecture. Honestly if I was in the area I'd give it another try, I'll just ditch the guys ;)

Came to this place on the recommendation from one of my co-workers. I will start by saying the place was packed!! so that was a great sign! Just my GF and I so they got us in right away. The server came right over and we had our drinks within 5 miniutes, very good considering the amount of people! we ordered the Fried mozzarella bites and house salads for appetizers. The mozzarella bites came out in timely manner and they were pretty good, just like a triangle cheese stick! The salads were house salads w/ Italian dressing, WAY too much vinegar in the dressing....BUT we didn't come here for the salads, we came for the pizza. We ordered a medium pizza.... 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 pepperoni, sausage, and banana peppers. The dough was crisp and flakey, more on the thinner side. it had a delicious buttery taste! I was also a big fan of the tomato sauce, it was on the sweeter side, but tasted homemade and I was ordered an additional side for dipping. overall the pizza was just OK....I did not like how greasy the pizza was. Service was also good thoughout the meal. Summary: I cant say I would make the drive all the way from Elkhorn to come just for pizza, but i will come back to try the lasagna, it looked amazing!!!

La Casa ! It's the bees knees! You love it, or you don't ! I'm a lover ! I'm biased since I've been fortunate enough to have been part of the "La Casa Family" for the last 7 years ! This June we will celebrate 65 years in business, so we are obviously doing it right !!!!! The Hamburger pizza is what it's all about. Nothing like it in the world !!!! Come in Saturday nights and ask for me !!!!!
