The 12 Most Romantic Restaurants in Palm Beach

"Since opening in Palm Beach in 2020, Jean Denoyer’s French restaurant has charmed diners with its location in the historic Palm Way building. Hailing from New York City, where it’s had a home since 1972, it offers indoor and outdoor seating and a menu with dishes like cheese soufflé with Gruyère, Parmesan, and white truffle oil, a seafood tower including tuna tartare and whole lobster, and desserts like crepes Suzette and crème brûlée." - J. La Goulue is truly one of the finest French restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. With its iconic reputation in New York City, it brings the same level of sophistication and excellence to Palm Beach. The fish selection is exceptionally fresh and light, but the true highlights of our meal were the delicately prepared frog legs (a rare dish to find executed so perfectly), the French onion soup, and the lamb, which was flawlessly cooked and evenly seasoned. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance: the bar area buzzes with lively energy, while the dining space provides an intimate, elegant atmosphere, ideal for a romantic evening or a business dinner. We also absolutely loved the hospitality! The wine pours are generous and the manager, Xavier, graciously came to our table to personally welcome us. Our waitress, Julissa, was a delight, bubbly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive throughout the meal. Their warmth and professionalism truly elevated the dining experience.

Google
Outstanding restaurant outstanding service. The food is excellent and I definitely look forward to going back to this restaurant. It’s a Lovely place. Valet parking right up front so convenient very beautiful area.

Google
Fun and delicious- slightly mature crowd but definitely a must do when in Palm Beach - try the Chilean Sea Bass. The New York vibe is very cool. I believe that’s where they launched. I knew the restaurant well when living in New York and the original restaurant was on Madison Avenue - super fun Saturdays there!

Google
exceeded my expectations beautiful dining room with outdoor seating evoking a paris bistro great host and wait staff very accommodating friendly and warm with impeccable service and very good wine list but the real star is the food! I had the trout almandine a classic and perfectly prepared! flakey and full of subtle flavors with a side of perfectly cooked and flavored string beans I had the creme brûlée for dessert also perfect light yet full of flavor maybe one of the most perfect meals I have had in a long time

L a • G o u l u e • Had a wonderful evening at La Goulue Palm Beach! A friend and I stopped in for a glass of wine and ended up sharing a cheese board — it was absolutely delicious. They even had gluten-free bread for my friend, which was a huge plus for her. The ambiance is truly magnificent — it felt like we were whisked away from Palm Beach straight to a charming corner of Paris. The vibe was elegant, and while the crowd leans more mature, we had a great time. I can't wait to come back during the day to try the brunch — if it's anything like our evening experience, I know it’ll be fantastic.

La Goulue Palm Beach offers an exceptional French dining experience that transports guests from the heart of Palm Beach to the charming streets of Paris. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and attentive service set the stage for a great meal. The menu showcases meticulously prepared French cuisine, with standout dishes like the cheese soufflé—a signature item since 1972—and the flavorful beef bourguignon. Seafood enthusiasts will appreciate the pan-seared scallops and the branzino en croûte, both cooked to perfection. For dessert, the Crêpes Suzette, flambéed tableside with Grand Marnier, offers a delightful conclusion to the meal. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, featuring selections that complement the rich flavors of the dishes. The staff, including knowledgeable sommeliers, are eager to assist in choosing the perfect pairing. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking an exquisite meal, La Goulue Palm Beach consistently delivers excellence in both cuisine and service. It's a dining destination that promises to leave a lasting impression.

Google
Came back to our favorite authentic French place in Palm Beach. Native French speaking server was the best. Kept the wines flowing, with excellent choices. Fantastic onion soup, oysters and escargot to start with a Rose champagne. The Boar bourguignon was excellent, surprisingly tender and moist for game. The only disappointment was dessert, overcooked tarte tatin was more like apple sauce. But everything else, especially the service was great.

Absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the soufflé, escargot and Dover sole. I cannot wait to return and experience it again.

Yelp
We got a lot of different stuff as you can see. What stood out was the escargot - they are so fat and big it's truly like France. The last time I saw snails this fat was in Dieppe. The mussels unfortunately came out cold at first. Then weirdly enough when I begun eating them, most of them were not in their clam shell. To me this indicates that they may have been either overcooked, or frozen, or something didn't go right during the process in the kitchen. I am not saying that it was one of these however they were not in their little shell, which is unusual. What I mean when I say they weren't in their clam shell is that when I would take one out, the mussel itself wasn't in there, this was roughly for 15-20 shells, which is were this began to grow my concern. The waitress was able to sort that out, the manager was also notified, and they kindly suggested I try the duck. The duck was perfect. It came with tiny cubed potatoes (Slay literally to whoever cut those), and I believe a gravy sauce. The scallops had a delicious sautéed diced mushrooms, perfect combination. The pasta was cooked good, it wasn't overcooked or anything. Mushroom and truffle risotto was certainly good however it did not stand out to me. Beef carpaccio was perfect, thinly sliced with a little Parmesan. The tea pot was so cute, it was mint tea, honey was really good too, you can tell it's real quality honey. Now the chocolate lava cake. It was luscious, rich dark chocolate, which poured out onto your plate thereby melting the ice cream on top, and creating the most sapid bittersweet taste you could imagine. It was perfectly made I must say. It reminded me of my childhood which is ideally what you want. It could use a note sourness, it would be interesting to see maybe a raspberry sorbet in there, or maybe a raspberry glaze which covers the chocolate cake itself. It's a tiny chaos but in a sophisticated French way. There are tables outside but only for 2. Outside windows provide a view of palm beach and all the gorgeous cars you could imagine. This is a classic French restaurant, it was the tiny tables, the loud speaking of individuals nearby, and the simple French dishes which are much overlooked in the modern world.

Yelp
Just no. As a third generation Palm Beacher I was appalled at their treatment of my family who were there to celebrate my mom (who is 81) being cancer free. I made this reservation under my name for a party of three, placing trust that my family members would enjoy their dinner. The reservation was confirmed for 5pm. They arrived to an empty restaurant a few minutes early. Since they walked from their nearby home, and being in their 80's, they were eager to be seated. The hostess refused to seat them, because it was not quite 5pm yet. It was only a few minutes early and in an empty restaurant. My family stood by the bar and my mom asked a server if they were allowed to sit and he said yes. However, the hostess still refused to seat them - something about the kitchen opening at 5pm. My family was frustrated by this ridiculous treatment and decided to leave. Naturally, I wanted answers so I called Matthew, the manager, who kept telling me that my family chose to leave and took zero ownership for the treatment they received. How can you not seat people at an empty table when they are on time for their reservation? Who wants to be treated that way? Absolutely atrocious behavior and embarrassing for me who made the reservation thinking it was a good choice. Never again!

Yelp
Love La Goulue! The atmosphere is like being transported to France. The service is always amazing. And the food! Very delicious, authentic French food. They have a great wine selection. We've been a handful of times and always give it a 5/5.

Yelp
Excellent French Onion Soup. The cheese was high quality and the soup Was very tasty without being overly salty. Had Salmon Tartare which was very filling and delicious. Bartender Dave made a Perfect Perfect Manhattan.

Jane M.

Yelp
Server actually spoke French and had a flare for the dramatic! He was punctual, accurate and pleasant. The furnishings and decor played right into the French cafe look captured in a Renoir painting. Delicious and satisfying describe the food. While servings seemed small, the ingredients and flavors created a big sense of satisfaction. We turned out feeling surprisingly full. Each in our group of 3 ordered the chicken club sandwich. Then we shared two desserts. Everything tasted better than when we dined in France!
google avatar

Yelp
Loved it! Beautiful restaurant, lovely Parisian vibe. We had chicken dish and Dover sole. Probably the best chicken I've ever had. We will be back! Service was top notch too!

Yelp
This meal was so amazing, I have to tell everyone about it. Started with the signature cheese soufflé, which is one of my favorite things in the whole world, followed by a few pieces of their delicious bread and their delicious and ended with the golden & red beet salad that is dressed in pistachio vinaigrette, also has fresh goat cheese, and candied pistachios in it- so unbelievable, I went back the next day and had the same exact order

Yelp
Overpriced French food, and unfortunately not worth the price tag. Very fancy atmosphere (thanks to location being in Palm Beach). Ambiance is lack-luster, decor and colors seem boring and outdated. The bar is full service so we sat there, and were happy with the nice (and fast) bartenders. The food itself left something to be longed for (even more so once the bill came). We ordered the cheese soufflé (Gruyère and parmesan cheese, white truffle oil), steak tartare, escargot (with garlic-herb butter), steamed mussels (with white wine cream sauce) and French fries, filet mignon and the hot molten lava cake (with ice cream). I'm not sure what I was expecting out of the "award-winning signature" cheese soufflé, but it did not "WOW" me. Presentation was beautiful, technique was perfect, but flavor wasn't there for me. Also, $28 for a bowl of cheese and random garden salad, is ridiculous. Escargot was de-shelled, but again was lacking any real flavor. Steak tartare did not have the best presentation, instead of being red/pink, it was brown and was not appealing-looking. Dish needed more salt, and an extra French baguette. The filet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and was tender and juicy. Mussels were soft (almost too soft), and unfortunately were presented in a small bowl, where it was hard to get any of them at the bottom. All of the food was just OK. Large selection of wine, but priced at $20-30 for a glass is outrageous. For $450, not including a tip, I won't be quick to return.

Yelp
We were having lunch for our anniversary. The waiter completely left us hanging. Another waiter saw us and finished serving our meal and drinks. Food was ok and the atmosphere was nice but our waiter was awful.

Yelp
Last night we had an appalling experience at La Goulue Palm Beach. we had a 6:45 reservation for four people. We arrived on time and were told we would have to wait about a half hour for a table even though there were about 4-5 empty tables in the restaurant. We didn't care about the placement of our table. We are well behaved, well dressed adults who count La Goulue in NY as one of our favorite restaurants. Sadly, I cannot say the same about La Goulue Palm Beach. we left and had a lovely dinner at Sant Ambroeus
google avatar

Robert G.

Yelp
Outstanding classic French restaurant. Cheese soufflé is a delight - as good as it gets. Don't share it - have a whole one for yourself! Crepes Suzette also highly recommended. Everything we tried at dinner was so great we came back the next day for lunch. Was just as good. This restaurant will be a "must go" for us whenever we are in the area.

Yelp
Loved it. Very posh and fancy with the best people watching. Fairly traditionally but very delicious French fare. Salads are beautiful. Dessert is fantastic. Attentive full service is available at the bar and we never had to wait on anything. Loved the cocktail with the rose. Kudos to valet for being extra helpful and friendly. Great spot for fancy dinner date or just drinks. Suggest reservations as they are very busy and bar area isn't very large.

Yelp
Great service, atmosphere, and food. Tangy our server was phenomenal. He attended to us very well, great conversation and recommendations.

Yelp
This was more of a "dining experience" than a restaurant that you rave over how good the food was. On a weeknight, we made reservations for four and I'm glad we did because the restaurant was very busy around 7PM. The menu selection was large, and there was something for everyone. The price point was relatively average for this type of establishment, and I was surprised with the generous portion sizes. I loved the complementary bread, and butter, and that truffles were offered with dinner for an extra fee. My friends and I said that our favorite part was the crème brûlée, which was great! I do however wish the rest of the food would have been more 5 star. They also have complementary valet parking.

Becca C.

Yelp
Highly recommend- food was so great- must try the soufflé! Our server was on her game- gave many recommendations, which we took a majority of them and we loved all the recommended! The restaurant also gives Persian vibes, so great!

Yelp
Couldn't have been a more perfect night for party of 7 people. Loved the mussels and Dover sole is a must! Great food presentation and really lovely servers here!

Yelp
Update. I didn't like this restaurant two years ago, but it's vastly improved- the food is delicious and the service is top notch professional. I'm now a regular and have lunch or dinner once a week. It's a great French restaurant. The heads on prawns appetizers at dinner and the salad Lyonnesse at lunch are my favorites - of the dozens of courses I've had, I can't think of a clunker.
google avatar

Keren A.

Yelp
We loved everything about this place. The decor makes you want to stay there all night long. It's so warm and inviting. It feels like you're in NY in a historical building. The parking is good because they have complimentary valet. The food is so amazing. On today's visit, we feasted off a bunch of appetizers and shared our main course. For appetizers we had, we he cheese soufflé, escargot, onion soup, foi gras, all of which were spectacular. The fish baked in the pastry while sitting On lemon slices is the real star. I wanted to try the scallops but we got too full, sO definitely the next time.

Yelp
Finest dining experience in South Florida in Palm Beach! Exceptional location, excellent service, Full bar seating along with indoor and outdoor. Valet parking complimentary. Took a financial client for dinner and client thoroughly enjoyed. Scallops, Steak Tartare
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
Nice ambience, feels like you are in a quaint French restaurant. The ratatouille, salmon, and Branzio were delectable. I would definitely skip the steak, not the best cut for the price. Hard to cut and no flavor. French fries are probably one of the best I've had! Not a cheap restaurant but nice for special occasions. Refreshing grapefruit mocktail.

Yelp
Best French food ever BUT... Here is my honest review. The food was amazing but this place is NOISY plus they accept dogs. Beside us we're a couple with a dog and the dog was putting her face on the table. Please don't get me wrong, I love dogs but sometimes dogs needs to stay in home! If you can ignore this things the restaurant is worth it. Price: we spend around $144 plus tip. We ordered 2 dish, 1 alcoholic drink, and 1 desert. I was in love with the flavors and quality of my dish. The drink was great.

Yelp
Such an amazing experience!! Two of my friends picked this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it was great! The service was by far one of the best and the wait staff was exceptional friendly. I started my meal with the escargot and it was prefect. Its one of my favorite French appetizers and this was one of the best. I chose the Duck for my entree and it was cook perfectly it was paired with baby carrots but I opted for the ratatouille. For desert the sent out a trio of macaroons with a birthday candle and sang happy birthday. Such a great night hope to get back there again.

Yelp
Wonderful brunch on Saturday. Went early, 11:30. Cheese soufflé was the best I ever had. Very nice menu and hard to decide. I'm definitely going back. I can't wait to try dinner. Also, the young man who served us was totally professional (so rare these days - NO "are you guys ready to order?"). Attentive but not overbearing. Perfect! I wish I had gotten his name. Nice table cloths and beautiful glassware and china. Not many restaurants like this around anymore.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
Trendy. Nice interior and atmosphere. Expensive. ($23 for martini and $23 for a glass of wine and over $200 for two people). Valet parking. Had to open all my mussels and make a soup out of them as they were packed in a little bowl with sauce hidden on bottom. Food just OK and equivalent to most any other strip mall French bistro other than the West Coast oysters. Quality and service OK but not worth it. If you drive a Bentley or better, and wear monogrammed Espadrilles, this is the place for you.
google avatar

Deirdre J.

Yelp
I've dined here quite a few times and have loved it each time. From lunch at the bar to a sit down multi course dinner in the restaurant. Food is excellent! Service always on point. I recommend.
google avatar

Georgette Q.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food! The atmosphere is one of an old time steakhouse in NYC. Dark wood and brass and antique sconces ..& Complimentary valet. Our server was Jose and he was excellent. I ordered the ribeye and substituted sautéed spinach for-the fries . My friend ordered the lamb shank. Both expertly prepared. Please leave room for dessert... my creme brûlée was creamy and the eclair was a perfect compliment to our dining experience!
google avatar

Cindi W.

Yelp
If I could leave ten stars I would. (Our second time back). Fabulous service, food and ambiance. We were way too overindulgent but that's what it's about. Food like this isn't quick or cheap...but an incredible experience. I won't be eating for a month at least....then I'm going right back!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Beautiful place for lunch or dinner. I had the chicken cordon bleu. It was some of the best chicken I have had very nice flavor and not overcooked. The staff is all very professional and make it a wonderful experience for you.
google avatar

Marianna P.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with my one of my girl friends and had the best time! You are transported to a European ambience as soon as you're seated. It was a beautiful Day so we sat outside at a table. The service did not miss a beat. We were always taken care of. Our waiter Guillermo was great. We ordered the Saint Tropez drinks to start and we couldn't stop drinking them because they were that good! The elderflower and citrus flavors married perfectly for a sunny day in Palm Beach. For food, we ordered the tuna tartare, jumbo shrimp, and burrata salade. The shrimps were delicious and meaty. Our favorite was the burrata salade. It has strawberries and tomatoes which is very unique. Overall, the experience, food and ambiance exceeded our expectations. I can't wait to come back for dinner!
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp
Fabulous traditional French bistro menu. Every dish we had was incredible. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is Palm Beach. Upscale fun. Of course people are going to get turned away if they show up to this restaurant in shorts. It is not appropriate to dine at a fine restaurant in flip-flops and shorts. People need to get a clue.. we loved this experience and will return when in Palm Beach.

Yelp
This place is just fantastic. And our server Katie was amazing. We went to celebrate my daughter's 23rd birthday. My wife and daughter shared the cheeseburger which is something that I understand should not be missed. Believe it or not they like the cheeseburger so much they ordered a second one. Wow! I'm a vegan and a tremendous pain in the butt. But Katie prepared a veggie platter for me that included homemade ratatouille, Green beans and spinach. The drink prices were pretty good if you order the brunch offerings but if you order cocktails from the bar holy smoke brace yourself. The bread was yummy, the mustard fantastic, and everyone seem to like the dessert We had an outdoor table and it was just great. I really recommend it. We drove up from Miami and it's not a bad day trip if you're looking to do something different and enjoy beautiful Palm Beach. Make sure you ask for Katie..

Jon S.

Yelp
Very good food great ambiance. Really loved all the classics including the steak frites. Only thing I didn't love were the tarts which tasted more like a pizza style flatbread.

Yelp
La Goulue did not disappoint despite my inaugural visit was in the restaurant's first week. The distinction is that new kitchens and new staff require a break-in period enabling staff and machines to set into a groove. Its for these reasons that I prefer to visit new restaurants about a month post opening. LG was satisfactory rom the beginning requiring only some minor tweaks. So here's the rundown: she had the tenderloin and I had the strip. Both were cooked at a higher temperature than what we ordered but were nicely rested post cooking and thus were very juicy. Cauliflower seems to be on everyone's menus nowadays and seem to order it each time. Very tasty and a good compliment to our steaks. I haven't had a Crepe Suzette in about 30 years and jumped at the opportunity. In the past this dessert was prepared tableside--like Caesar salads and guacamole--but alas this ritual may be remnant of ghosts of Christmases long past. While I don't mind an extra pour of Grand Marnier on my Crepe Suzette, the trick is to flambé the sauce long enough to evaporate most of the alcohol. I would have preferred it was flambeed for a while longer. Great wine list and staff made our first visit of what I hope to be many more, wonderful. We shall return...

Ana M. A.

Yelp
Manager was very rude and ironic. They have to learn more about customer service. And by the way they charge us $20 for a bottle of water that nobody even drank.
google avatar

Jacob T.

Yelp
A local fav here on the island of Palm Beach. Be sure to make a reservation. The escargot is really good. Great wine list and exceptional service. Be sure to try the escargot as you will not be disappointed. You can sit indoors or outside and both are great for a nice dining experience as well as people watching. There is a full bar. Great place.

Yelp
Food was just so wonderful! Service quite good... a little loud till 8 pm... then it softened! Best food gras... best onion soup... profiteroles ever!!!

Yelp
We were invited to my friend's birthday party here. When I looked at the Yelp reviews I thought, let's give them the benefit of the doubt. Let the record show the poor grade is a fair assessment of this place. In fact, the 2 star is generous. We started with the French onion soup which my husband & along with 3 other guests said it was too salty. The escargot & mussels were the best thing we had. The 2 stars are for those items ONLY. The ratatouille did not have any flavor, bland. The worst part of the experience was the service. For an expensive Palm Beach restaurant, the service was way below par. First, the waiter asked for my drink order, came back 10 minutes later & asked me if I wanted something to drink!!! Before we ordered, we asked if we could have separate check. Well you guessed it, at the end of the night, that same waiter brought one check to the entire table. We didn't make a fuss because we were guests at someone's celebration. As you have been well Warned, there are plenty of better options. Don't waste your time or money on this place, disappointing. La vie est trop courte pour la mauvaise nourriture!

Yelp
Why I'll go back: Classy NYC French bistro vibe with great service and some excellent dishes You HAVE to order: the Bull Shot (vodka and beef stock, but tastes like an elevated Bloody Mary) Tony's Tip: front room has great street views and more energy, but the back room gives a wide open look at the kitchen We snuck in here tonight (a Saturday) at 8:30 after a blown transformer shut down Buccan, our original destination. Kids - don't try this at home. By some miracle, they were able to squeeze the three of us in. Mr. Denoyer - you've got a great hostess up front - hang on to her. Just the same, make a reservation to be safe. From the cocktails to the food to the service, execution here is strong. Shout out to Alex, a transplant from NYC who followed the owner down here and took care of us all night. Highlight was the lamb entree, which was tender and neither over nor under seasoned. Beef carpaccio was as expected - paper thin - and accompanied by a small center of arugula. Heads up - the au gratin potatoes are more creamy than cheesy (I prefer the latter). Finally, the atmosphere is relaxed, but upscale trendy, with most of the men wearing blazers. Plenty of energy at the bar as well. This spot is quickly becoming a go-to place on Palm Beach Island. It should definitely be on your list.

Stuart S.

Yelp
A spectacular Mother's Day Brunch!! The ambiance was inviting; the service superb, and the food was so delicious!! Highly recommended and can't wait to return for another meal!!

Yelp
I enjoyed our evening here a lot. The restaurant captures the ambiance of a fine Parisian establishment, except the noise level from patrons was high. The Catch-22 effect is that we all have to shout because it's so noisy. Once our table had amped up our volume, we didn't notice anymore. Our server was very professional but made recommendations so firmly that you felt you were making a mistake to order what you wanted instead. But she was charming, on the ball, and looked after us well. The Tuna Tartare was excellent but surprisingly had no toast. My wife's escargot was very nice, she did have toast which had to be sent back because it was so burnt. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and really tender. My wife's trout was huge and really tasty. We shared an excellent creme brulee and finished up with an excellent espresso. Overall, it was a great experience and we'll put it back on the top of our restaurant bucket list.

Yelp
This was my first time dining at La Goulue after weeks of anticipation. I've heard from friends that this quaint french restaurant on the corner of Royal Palm Way and County Road was a must try. So try it I did. I went with my girlfriend who has been to La Goulue multiple times and has highly recommended it. First thing to note is that parking is not easy. We were fortunate to find street parking right outfront, but they do have valet if needed. I do not know if it is complimentary. Though we did not need valet, the valet guys were kind enough to open the door for us on our way in. A very nice touch. Upon entering, we were greeted with a very friendly staff who wanted us to feel welcomed. We were seated near the kitchen, which was not ideal since the restaurant was probably at 20% capacity at that moment (6:00pm reservation on a Friday). The interior design was perfect for a rainy day. It was very cozy, but fancy. The dark wood and reds complimented nicely with the open windows and stained glass skylight. One of the other parties in the dining room had a service animal and the hostess apologized to us for its parking, insinuating we were annoyed by it. My girlfriend and I love dogs, especially service animals so we found it distasteful to apologize for. However, I guarantee that it is something your average Palm Beach resident would get annoyed at, so I understand the reason for her comment. Knowing that, she dealt with it in the best way possible. Soon after being seated, our waitress introduced herself to our table. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Could not ask for a better waitress. We were intrigued with the cheeseboard, so we asked her about it. She knew it through and through, including the rotating chef's selection cheeses. After we received the board, the courier walked us through everything on the board. A very nice touch. We both decided to go with the filet, since a $48 chicken breast meal seemed to be quite ridiculous. A $60 filet seemed more familiar. After they arrived, I immediately noticed the Tenderloin was very tall. This means one thing: it is definitely undercooked. After making may way through the filet, I came to notice that a good portion was cool and purple; it was rare. I ordered medium. My girlfriend's filet was slightly less cooked than mine, resulting in probably $5-$10 worth of the filet being uneaten. However, the fries, truffle fries, and salad were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with the dressing of the salad. It was a great italian house dressing. The fries were also very crispy with a soft inside, my favorite. We ended up taking a box home and did not opt for dessert. When we left, every staff member made sure to wish us a good night. The kindness of La Goulue's staff is top notch. Again, the valet guys showcased their professionalism with impeccable memory: they even remembered what car my date would drive to La Goulue, even though she was last there over a year ago. They will remember you! This is a great place for a date night, taking the parents or grandparents out to dinner, or for any special occasion. This is not a place I would come to casually since it is quite expensive. You are certainly paying for the service more than anything else. But the service is worth it! I would definitely recommend La Goulue and would come here again, though it probably won't be for some time.

Yelp
This is my one of my favorite WPB restaurants. Love when company visits, we always go. I'm never disappointed, the salads are always fresh, the selections of cheeses changes but are always great choices. The onion soup is one of my favorites, The escargot is amazing and if they have short ribs on the menu, get it, one word delicious. The servers are wonderful and very good at their jobs. Run don't walk.

Yelp
Excellence and the cheese soufflé was all that and more! Service was wonderful and the ambiance was relaxed and calming after a day of shopping

Yelp
IT'S INACCEPTABLE

Yelp
10/10! Delicious food, phenomenal service, stunning ambience! Every single item we ordered was mouth-watering. The waitstaff and management were very attentive to all the guests while we were there and it was just a wonderful dining experience. I look forward to going back again soon.

Yelp
I think I'd give this place 4.5 stars but I can't quite justify 5. everything here was either good or very good, however I can't say there was any dish that absolutely blew me away. still, a pretty good (but expensive) restaurant! we came here for brunch and I ordered the imported bayonne ham eggs benedict and it was delicious. my favorite part of it was the ham, which was a million times tastier than the usual canadian bacon found on most eggs benedict. however, the dish as a whole was very good, but not to die for. one of the eggs was a little overcooked inside, the yolk was not runny like I like my eggs benedict. the hollandaise sauce was also a little bland. my dad and I shared the beef tartare. this was very good. I liked it quite a bit but I wouldn't say it's the best beef tartare I've ever had either. tried a little of the french onion soup and that was delicious. I also had a bite of my mom's smoked salmon omelette and I think that was probably the most disappointing of all the dishes I tried, the eggs were a little too cooked and the overall flavor of the dish was just okay, nothing special. their signature soufflé was just okay. certainly nothing to rave about which was surprising. overall, a nice but very price-y brunch. I definitely enjoyed it but I'm not dying to come back.

Yelp
Great ambience, good food , nice wine list, attentive service. Well worth a visit. Comparable to a nice comfortable bistro in NYC, but not a destination restaurant

Yelp
Went for lunch. It didn't appear there was a Maitre de but was promptly seated by the waiter. Very much a French Bistro. The tartare was among the best I've had. Floating Island (Ill flottante) was a great dessert option! For some reason they didn't have a butter knife which was the only real issue, probably not one for most but I found it strange. I will return and recommend it.

Yelp
LATE REVIEW- We went here for an early dinner with friends (6) in Jan 2023. WOW! Hang onto your wallet as it was not cheap, but every single item our group ordered was spectacular! Souffle Au Fromage is indeed added to my casket list of all time hits. One of us is a French onion soup expert....and he said their version was "definitely one of the best ever". The waiters were attentive and plentiful even during their initial rush. I'm missing some other highlights due to the late review, but this is a HIT! I like it better than the original in NYC.
