"La Loba is a modern Spanish restaurant inside a stylish hotel in South Lake Union. Arrive all done-up at La Loba, but don't arrive hungry - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"There’s big-night-out energy present even on a random Tuesday at this flashy Spanish restaurant. You won’t catch us heading here for a full dinner, given the menu is full of duds. But for a glass of wine while showing off a new haircut? We’re in. The dining room located inside the fancy Hotel 1 fills up by 7pm. Chatter swirls faster than ice cubes chilling gin and tonics. And moody spotlights illuminating each table feels just theatrical enough to create the illusion that you’re not in a shopping center next to Whole Foods. When the weeknight partytime atmosphere is so rare around SLU, it’s easy to appreciate a place where one can feel like a true city mouse. Just don’t arrive hungry. Fried nibbles lack salt, excitement, or both. Pasta is mushy. And don’t get us started on the pork chop, so overcooked that we wonder if it’d cause a Brookstone meat thermometer to short-circuit. As long as you treat La Loba like a bar, you’ll be just fine. Food Rundown The Gin & Tonic Cart Anticlimactic and awkward, almost like the idea went straight from brainstorming to showtime. After a wagon squeaks over to your table, a server sloshes clear liquids into a glass containing one actively melting ice cube, along with a stray herb or citrus wheel. Depending on how much you love a G&T, it ranges from totally acceptable to watered-down and snoozy. Stick to the beer and wine list. photo credit: Makena Yee Scallop Crudo We’re not convinced every last scallop is totally clean—ask the sandy grit between our teeth. Regardless, the coconutty tom kha sauce adds a nice creaminess to otherwise delicious raw mollusks. photo credit: Makena Yee Smoked Salmon Candy Montadito This crostini deserves to be on your table, with buttery smoked salmon, a swoop of goat cheese, and sweetness from a honey drizzle. It’s destined to get along with a glass of blanc de blanc. photo credit: Makena Yee Croquetas A deep-fried mound of kimchi filling bound by bechamel and stewed vegetables sounds great, but in reality is a saltless letdown. You’ll encounter the same issue with their patatas bravas. photo credit: Makena Yee Eggplant Parmigiana This puddle of silky eggplant and frothy parmesan espuma is tasty, even though the pomodoro sauce could be a ringer for the marinara from Lean Cuisine’s Five Cheese Rigatoni. That’s not good nor bad—just the truth. photo credit: Makena Yee Pan Con Tomate Just a pretty miserable excuse for a Spanish classic. Bits of pulverized—not pulpy—tomatoes are bone-dry, and yet, the “toasted” bread is completely wet in the middle. Make it make sense. photo credit: Makena Yee" - Aimee Rizzo

The Best New Restaurants in the Seattle Area | Eater Seattle

"This new Spanish restaurant opened in May with a lot more fanfare than the typical hotel restaurant. A collaboration between James Beard Award nominee Oscar Amador and the 1 Hotel, La Loba serves large plates but is probably best approached as a tapas place. The small plates here include treats like a strawberry gazpacho served in a shot glass with horseradish cream — a sweet-spicy combination that leaves you refreshed — and dry-aged carpaccio stretched over a goat cheese–filled bread puff, a salty, umami flavor bomb. There’s also lots of flashy dishes, like the seafood platter for two (it’s almost enough for three) or the beef tartare with bone marrow, prepared tableside." - Harry Cheadle

We've lived in Europe and have enjoyed many Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris. A friend recommended this place, and since it was a special occasion, my husband and I ordered the tasting menu. The atmosphere, service, and even the live music were perfect. The tasting menu was perfect. However, all the dishes, from the cold tapas to the eggplant lasagna and pasta, were so salty it felt like we were eating spoonfuls of salt. We couldn't taste the aromas and had to keep drinking water, making it impossible to savor the food. The bay scallops weren't fresh; they smelled too fishy. Also, almost every dish had cheese, which made them a bit heavy. The dessert was also overly sweet. I wonder if this was just a mistake by the chef for the day. It would have been great if they had checked the seasoning before sending the food out. It was much, much saltier than the pasta we had in Italy. I hope it will be better next time.

Wow, this might be one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle/Southlake Union! Definitely a top contender for restaurant of the year. I enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was super friendly, attentive, friendly. Most importantly the food was out of this world. The candied salmon was the best thing I’ve ever had And I’ve had nothing like it, the flavors were outstanding. Everything else was very good, always love to eat tacos when I’m not too hungry. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I would come back.

La Loba is a great place with a nice atmosphere and beautiful decor. The food is creative and presented nicely. The flavors were generally fine, though some dishes were a little salty. We mentioned it to the staff, and they took care of it for the rest of our meal. Overall, it’s a good spot to try

Absolutely loved this place! The staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive — truly top-notch service. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the tasting menu — there’s something for everyone, and each dish is thoughtfully prepared. My personal favorite? The eggplant parmigiana — unforgettable!

I had the pleasure of dining at La Loba with my husband and our toddler. We were thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The menu offers a thoughtful take on Spanish-influenced cuisine, every dish we tried was a standout and beautifully presented. The service was prompt, warm, and thanks to Skyler, our evening was truly memorable. He even offered to bring our son strawberries when he started to fuss. La Loba is the kind of place you look forward to returning to, not just for the food, but for the atmosphere and overall experience.

We had such a great experience at La Loba. They went above and beyond for us, even getting us seated when it initially didn’t seem possible — that alone made us feel super welcome. The atmosphere is stunning — very clean, modern, and stylish, with a relaxed vibe and great lighting that sets the tone for a comfortable meal. While nothing on the menu immediately jumped out to me at first glance, we decided to go with a few dishes to share — and honestly, that was the right call. Every plate had a thoughtful presentation and unique textures. The crispy onion rings stacked over perfectly cooked beef were a standout. The black cod dish had a beautiful balance of richness and crunch from the peanuts and sesame topping. The thick-cut fried yuca sticks were golden, crisp, and perfectly salted — so simple, yet so satisfying. For dessert, the pistachio custard topped with gelato was smooth and light, and paired really nicely with the black coffee. It’s a refined end to a rich meal, and one I’d definitely come back for. Service was also very attentive without being overbearing. You can tell the staff takes pride in the experience. Overall, even though nothing called out to me on the menu initially, everything we tried turned out to be delicious and memorable. Highly recommend La Loba if you’re looking for something elevated but still relaxed.

La Loba is a great new upscale addition to Seattle. Located above Westlake Whole Foods, it brings a great date night option to the SLU area which is pretty underserved. La Loba does tapas and they do a really fantastic job at it. We ended up getting the tasting menu which at under a hundred a head felt like a really good deal with the quality. Especially appreciated was La Loba's flexibility to let you swap out items that you'd prefer from the menu if desired. The food was excellent but small. I'm glad we did the tasting menu because we might've left hungry if we had just chose a few dishes. That's not to knock the place but just to give some context that you might want to order more than you'd think. Of the food, what stood out most was the Eggplant Parmigiana, the Dry-Aged Carpaccio, and the Truffle Cavatelli. I would highly recommend any of these. I think the only thing that was a bit underwhelming was the Pork Chop, which while good didn't feel like it matched the rest of the food in flavor. I only had one cocktail, the Old Fashioned Piracy, but it was excellent. I appreciated the whimsical presentation in a mini pirate's chest, but even without that the flavor was perfectly balanced. The entire cocktail menu looked great and it was a bit hard to pick one. I almost went with the blue-cheese-fat-washed gin cocktail, which I'll probably get next time. Speaking of next time, I was told they'll be having a happy hour Tuesday-Saturday 3-5 which includes paella. With few paella options in the Seattle area and the quality of the dinner menu, I'm very excited to see how their paella is. From a service and aesthetics perspective, La Loba did great there as well. A beautiful upscale experience with friendly and professionally attentive service, and the night we went (Friday night), a live Spanish guitar performance brought the whole experience together. We went for my wife's birthday, and perhaps that was the only miss of the night. While they wished her a happy birthday at the door, there was nothing tableside to commemorate. No dessert or candles or anything that could've made for a good photo for a celebratory moment. It wasn't a huge deal but it feels like a gap they could definitely address as La Loba definitely is a birthday or anniversary type place. All in all, very happy to have this addition to the Seattle dining scene.

Service was disastrous. We were seated promptly for our 8:15 reservation. We ordered 3 appetizers and 5 entrees. 2 appetizers came in a reasonable amount of time. We wait for over an hour and around 9:30 a staff member stopped by our table and said they had lost our ticket and would make our food as quickly as possible. They apologized and said they would comp the entrees without us making fuss which was very nice. After waiting a bit, they brought an egg with caviar on it to our table. We were a bit confused and flagged down a waiter who said it was for a different table and they took it away. We continued to wait for our 3rd appetizer so we flagged down a waiter again. Our last appetizer was brought out at the same time as our food. Here's where the weirdness continues. We ordered two servings of the rigatoni and one serving of the bucatini. Both rigatoni entrees came with a few bucatini noodles mixed in. Didn't affect the taste in any way, but just caused concern about what's going on in the kitchen where they are mixing noodles from dishes. After our entrees were finished, the waitress again apologized and said we could have a free dessert or two if we wanted. We said we would have a tiramisu. To our surprise, this wasn't actually comped as we were told which left a sour taste in our mouth for what was to be a special dinner. The staff were kind, but the organization behind the scenes was a disaster. The waiters didn't seem to be communicating with each other about the situation. The food was fine, but the rest of the experience was just poor. It's a new restaurant so maybe they are still figuring things out, but it's not somewhere I can recommend.

Yelp
Wow. Where do I start... first off they made magic happen and were able to accommodate my party last minute. But beyond the service I witnessed before and during the visit we thoroughly loved the tasting menu and the surprise flavors it brought along the way. Standouts were the carpaccio, scallop crudo, the bucatini, and the dessert because of the popcorn mousse. We have been talking about our dinner last night all day and will for sure be back

Yelp
Already been here three times! The table side beef tartare is a must! The food, the ambiance, the service is everything we needed in Seattle. Don't forget to get the pistachio tiramisu for dessert!

Yelp
First time at La Loba. Heard so much hype about this new restaurant on South Lake Union and needed to go and try the spot for myself! After my first visit at La Loba, I'm so excited to have a fine dining restaurant in Seattle that elevates the experience within their food and service. I have been recommending my friends and family to go to La Loba! O The ambiance gives you those tulum vibes. Since the restaurant is associated with 1 Hotel, it's a touristy restaurant. You can dress up or down - no policy. We did have an issue with the hostess and our reservation. However, the GM was super nice about it and he did help make our first time experience successful. Our group ordered several items to share, family style. Everything we ordered turned out flavorful. For appetizers, my favorites were: Scallop shooter - has a coconut flavor to it Green tartare - was served with rice paper. Highly recommend Coquette - one of my favorites Eggplant lasagna - a must. Couldn't tell there was no noodles in it Seared Salmon on a crostini - highly recommend. You can taste the sear/smokiness of the salmon For entrees: Pork chop - very soft and moist All of the pasta dishes were amazing

Yelp
We finally made our way over to La Loba! We wanted to go here in May when they first opened and on my birthday weekend, but they were booked up! Highly recommend making reservations ahead. But let me start with having 10/10 amazing experience!! We're huge on getting good customer service, and this one really impressed us! Our server and everyone else that brought out our dishes were all very attentive and knowledgeable about every single dish. I also can't get over how beautiful the interior is and the ambiance... The food was all incredibly good! Each dish was "ooooh omg!" I almost wanted to do the tasting pre-fixed menu, but there were other dishes included that I wasn't interested in and the tapas only came 2 of each. The regular menu was definitely the way to go! After dinner we also went next door to Drift lounge and hung out at their lobby for some drinks. The interior and decor there was also super cute! They also had a live dj playing good songs. We will definitely be back Monkey Business (N/A G&T) Lyre's Zero Proof Gin, Juniper, Sage, Rosemary, Lemon Peel, Fever Tree Premium Tonic-- yes it's made tableside and we thought it was super cool. Mine was N\A but you can definitely ask one with alcohol. Scallop Crudo: This was my absolute favorite from their cold tapas. You cannot go here and not get this! The tom kha sauce and the rest of the toppings were so delicious! Smoked Candy Salmon Montadito: This was my second favorite. Another standout for me... one of the best creamy, honey (not so smoky) salmon on a tostini I've had. 30-Day Dry-Aged Striploin Carpaccio: This was my third favorite. The puffed bread and carpaccio were yummy! However, the black truffle and goat cheese made just a tad bit salty. Patatas Bravas: The only thing we got from their hot tapas. These crispy layered potato sticks with a spicy aioli sauce were so good!! Pan-Roasted Black Cod: The cod was seared nicely, so tender, and the skin was crispy! Oh! and the Gazpachuelo sauce mixed in with kimchee was so unique. I loved it! Hanger Steak: The steak was very tender and well-marinated. On a bed of their signature steak sauce was flavorful! I thought I was done, but I wanted more scallop crudo! I couldn't get over how good they were, so I had to order another one. It was that good!! Pistachio Tiramisu: I love tiramisu!! So, we had to get this and it definitely didn't disappoint. Yum!!

Yelp
I came to La Loba on a Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. The ambiance is nice - it's an urban oasis vibe being connected to the 1 Hotel in Seattle. The menu consists of hot and cold tapas, pastas and large plates. There was three of us and we ended up ordering 5 tapas, 1pasta and 1 dessert all to share. It was enough to fill us up. Overall we really enjoyed our food! We thought they were all pretty unique and tasty, and they had a nice presentation too. My favorites were the scallop crudo, candied salmon and eggplant parm. The scallop bucatini was pretty good too - the pasta was cooked al dente and the scallops were perfectly cooked as well. I think the only thing we didn't love was the 30-Day Dry Aged Striploin Carpaccio - it was a bit too salty? Maybe too much blue cheese inside the puffed bread. And the pistachio tiramisu didn't have as much pistachio flavor as we had hoped. Prices are on the higher end too for the portion size, so this is more of a special occasion/ nicer meal restaurant. Our waitress was great and overall service was wonderful. My friend even got a complimentary granita for her bday in addition to the pistachio tiramisu we ordered. My friends and I had a good meal at La Loba and would recommend checking it out for delicious new restaurant to try!

Yelp
Vibes and service were absolutely top notch -- definitely worth a visit for that alone. The place was packed, which added to the energy. As for the food, everything we had was solid, but nothing stood out as especially memorable this time around. We tried the octopus appetizer, the ragu, and the hanger steak -- all good dishes, just not blow-you-away good. That said, I'm definitely down for a revisit. It might've just been a matter of not landing on the right items -- looking forward to exploring more of the menu next time!

Yelp
We had a great time at La Loba. We got a Friday night dinner reservation a few weeks ahead of time and it lived up to the hype. The drinks were great, I got the Hunter's Moon and it was fantastic. The food was delicious. The smoked salmon and scallop crisp were some of my favorites. The desserts were huge, we ordered two but definitely could have gotten just one and shared instead. The staff was friendly and attentive and the energy in the restaurant was great.

Yelp
SO GOOD! The tapas are what this place is known for. Tapas are appetizers that pretty filling, I would recommend choosing tapas instead of the main entrees, because there are so many to choose from. The restaurant is located in a hotel and the ambiance seems like you're on a tropical island. I would recommend coming for a special occasion. Recommendation for dishes: - scallops if you're seafood person or want to try something new - 30 day dry this is def a mind blowing dish - tiramisu, this has a really strong coffee flavor

Yelp
We're big fans of this groups restaurants in Las Vegas, so when we heard they were opening a place in one of our favorite cities to visit, we made a reservation! It's really beautiful inside, soft tones and plants, trees etc everywhere. Nice open area with plenty of windows for natural light Had a reservation at 7 and got seated about 710. Explained they were really backed up and gave us some champagne while we waited, Service was good, quick and efficient. Jon was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on portions and things to try Chef Oscar came by to say hi, age was in town for the weekend I guess but was really nice to visit for a few minutes Food was amazing. Lot of similarities between Anima and here but different enough to make it worth the trip We have a bad habit of ordering too much, and we did so again. We had the scallops, oysters, candied salmon, palatilla, carpaccio, caviar egg, Bravas, black cod, cavitelli and the dry aged pork chop. In addition the chef sent over the green tartare and the endive salad Everything was delicious. The oysters come with trout roe, a little scoop of pico and some ponzu sauce. Very refreshing The scallops are done with Tom Kha sauce and some picked jalapeno. One of my favorite things and Anima and done right here The green tartare is so simple but so delicious. Made with just 3 ingredients it's bursting with flavor. One of our dinner companions said it was one of the best things he's ever eaten The endive salad was good but not one of my favorites. Filled with cheese and walnuts, it was tasty but paled to the rest of the offerings The palatilla was to die for. Wish I had 50 of them. So good, a highlight for sure The pork chops were amazing. The dry aging changes the texture and flavor and it was so good! Definitely the highlight of the meal for me. Drinks were good, had the pirates and the Monty python. Pirate was smoked and comes in a treasure chest! Everything was well done, service food and drinks were all on point!

Yelp
Fancier unique flavored dining experience -- definitely worth stopping in. It is located at the first floor in the back of the entrance of the 1Hotel. You're immediately greeted with a smell of clean elegance and off white tones with medium oak decor and greenery. Once you enter walk to the left through a little bar (separate from the restaurant) "drift bar/lounge" but keep going even though it says exit you'll see the hostess stand there. all the staff are very attentive and very nice and welcoming. there is lots of street parking or i'm sure the hotel has some parking but prolly with a fee (also not sure if they validate as i easily found street parking on a thursday). the menu is a fusion of spanish, french, italian, asian with some local WA ingredients. we ordered quite a few items: smoked candied salmon toast, scallop crudo, croquetas, patatas bravas, bucatini, pan-roasted black cod, granita, and deconstructed key lime pie. keep in mind when you order from "tapas" it is traditionally a smaller portion in the spanish culture. i'd recommend the scallop crudo, croqueta, smoked salmon toast for sure. these were all like "OMG! so good!!" i am obsessed with the smoked salmon toast.id drive my ass all the way there just for these three items the patatas bravas was a little too salted for me but i am sensitive to salt. the cod was hard for me because while it was cooked well i have a natural and almost inevitable affinity towards miso black cod and i have still found no alternately cooked version that is better than that. these bucatini was delicious but not super outstanding. i am curious to try the other pastas tho. looooved the deconstructed key lime pie such a fun concept. the granita was like a strawberry flavored shave ice and it was delicious. tasted like real strawberries.

Yelp
Easily one of the best dining experiences in Seattle right now. Impeccable service, unforgettable food, and a stunning interior that sets the tone the moment you walk in. The tapas and entrées were all exceptional--thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. We loved the cocktails--creative and perfectly balanced--and the desserts were next-level. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Loved the vibes at La Loba! The restaurant is super cute inside and makes you feel like you're eating at the beaches in Spain. The service was also top notch - everyone was kind and attentive. Food - delish. When I come back, I think we'll skip the main plates and just order more of the Tapas + dessert. The main dishes (we got the beef cheek and cod) were good but we really enjoyed the Tapas more. The Seasonal Granola Salad sounds super weird with the white chocolate but that was our favorite thing we tried. And you can't go wrong with the Patatas Bravas. The desserts were also SO good - Pistachio Tiramisu and Deconstructed Key Lime Pie?! You can't go wrong.

Yelp
Tldr: Get up and get your a** to La Loba now! It's going to get BUSY! Ambience: Where do I even start? The interior of La Loba is absolutely stunning and filled with lush greenery. I asked if the plants were real (they are!), and they add such a vibrant pnw vibe -- exactly the kind of place Seattle needs more of. Service: Our server, Danielle, was fantastic. She was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu. For a restaurant that's only been open two weeks, I was expecting some hiccups--but the team absolutely nailed the experience. Also props to our beef tartare tableside chef. What a hero! Food: Wow. Just wow. The food at La Loba was unreal. The tableside beef tartare was hands-down one of the best I've had--my wife had to put a stop to the second order. The 30-day aged strip loin with cheese was a totally unique and delicious combo, and the salmon was another standout. Every dish was balanced, creative, and cooked to perfection. Seattle is full of restaurants that miss the mark, but La Loba truly knocked it out of the park. I already can't wait to come back--next time with a double date so we can try even more of the menu.

Yelp
We booked a reservation for 6 here on a weeknight and it was very busy! Music is quite loud and it's a little dim to set the mood. We ordered quite a bit of plates and they were good, but I definitely think with the price point, the flavors can be a bit more fine tuned. Some dishes were either too salted, or needed more salt. It was strange. I'm sure this will be more dialed in the future. Still a good time and good eats!

Yelp
Pretty excellent for a new hotel plus new restaurant combo. Food quality and experience is worth a date night out. Nothing beats the entrance aromatics of the 1hotel. Can't believe we finally have one. Everything is still so new though some of the staff couldn't even explain where the bathroom was. Haha. Food wise we did a pre-fix tasting menu for the table. It was a great sample of everything they had in the menu. We added the caviar, octopus, oysters and cauliflower. I would sat 90% of the dishes we got were excellent. A few critiques, one of the salad dishes that had some defunded endives didn't have enough pieces for each person on our table even though we paid for the table tasting menu.

Yelp
Finally a delicious beautiful restaurant in Seattle! The service was outstanding and the hostesses were extremely attentive. Talk about great hospitality! I started at the bar and ordered a puget fog, I think that's what the drink was called, it was deliciousssss! The hint of spice was absolute perfection. I'm still thinking about this drink. The food? YUMMMM! Everything was absolutely delicious. But My favorite were the scallops and bucatini. Out of everything I ordered (see photos) I'd say the tartare was just ok. I wouldn't order it next time but the presentation was fun. The ambience of the restaurant made me feel like I was on vacation. I seriously cannot wait to come back. 10/10!!

Yelp
Absolutely stunning interior. They did such a great job designing the restaurant. I cannot stress how fantastic the food was. We had the Eggplant Parmigiana. Patatas Bravas. Pan Con Tomate (bread but we were hungry). Croqueta. Truffle Cavatelli. And Rigatoni Amatriciana. Perfection. Here is the best part: The staff was phenomenal. I loved our waiter and the adorable hostess as well as the valet attendants were amazing. Lastly, our waiter put the cutest designs on each of our to-go's. I've already told my friends they need to try it out.

Yelp
La Loba is hands down one of the most special spots in Seattle. The food is soulful, intentional, and absolutely delicious--every dish feels rooted in tradition but elevated in the best way. The culinary focus is unforgettable, the cocktails are unique and well balanced, and the vibe is warm, so fresh, and full of heart. You can tell the team here cares. Can't recommend it enough. Allison behind the bar was a treat and gave the best recommendations for the Patatas Bravas and their selection of NA cocktails.

Belle B.

Yelp
The food & ambiance are excellent! I've been many times and love the scallops, oysters, carpaccio, cocktails and wine options. The decor is comfortable and feels high end. Typically I sit at the bar and they are welcoming and attentive. The two times I have not sat at the bar, service has been wonky. The first time, we were more or less forgotten. The second time, it felt our server changed half way through the meal. The second server was not as friendly or attentive. I like the use of expediters but please don't change my main server through the meal! Also PLEASE BRING BACK SOCIAL HOUR!!! I'll be back but not as much with current price points.

Yelp
I see why this restaurant got so popular so quickly-- it's just that good. Husband and I were moseying around the city on a sunny Saturday and I'd remembered hearing about La Loba on social media and set out to try it. We arrived around 7pm without a reservation and the host was so sweet and advised us the wait might be around an hour but took our info and added us to the waitlist. She suggested a drink at the hotel lobby bar, Drift, which was a killer suggestion because they had an awesome cocktail selection and a few appetizers from La Loba's menu. After a drink and an appetizer (probably 30ish minutes), I got a text and the host let me know that 2 seats at the bar had opened. Perfect! The bartender, Allison, was a highlight of the visit. She was super friendly and knowledgeable and had the best recommendations. I'd want to sit at the bar every time now because of her! We did the tasting menu which was the best introduction to the restaurant and with so much food, was such an awesome experience. Our favorites were the Scallop Crudo, Striploin Carpaccio, and Eggplant Parmigiana. For entrees, we had the Bucatini and Braised Beef Cheek-- both worth raving about online. This restaurant feels a little too cool to be in Seattle, service was impeccable, and the food stood up to the hype. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
The tasting menu is an incredible curation of delicious dishes with unique flavor combinations. A stellar meal. The place was beautiful and the decor was modern, tasteful, and matched the aesthetic of the food. All servers, hosts, and food runners were efficient and knowledgeable of the dishes

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a culinary journey through Spain without leaving your city, look no further than La Loba at 1Hotel Seattle. This Spanish tapas restaurant offers an authentic experience that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the soul. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a naturesque atmosphere. Displaying touches of beautiful woods and moss walls, it instantly creates a cozy and inviting ambiance. The menu is a delightful exploration of traditional Spanish dishes, perfect for sharing. The selection of tapas is extensive, offering everything from classics like patatas bravas and even my fave, Strawberry Granita with a popcorn mousse! So many delicious flavors that reflect the culinary traditions of different Spanish regions. A standout dish for us was the Smoked Candy Salmon Montadito . Succulent smoked candy salmon served on crostini with a spread of Tillamook truffle cream cheese and local honey. Delish! Even the Pan con Tomate was simple but perfectly executed. Memorable. Every. Bite. Service is attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the overall dining experience. Chef Amador and his team should be very proud of this one! Congratulations!

Yelp
We dined at La Loba for part of their soft opening and were blown away! Such fun elements (tableside beef tartare), delicious food (everything), and a lively beautiful atmosphere. La Loba is going to be a GEM!

Yelp
Found a new favorite! Our second time here and so far everything has been delicious. Definitely do the Tasting menu. The beef tartare, Scallop Crudo and Smoked Candy Salmon Montadito Crostini is a must! Thanks Joe (advance sommelier) for helping us with wine selection. Great vibes, amazing food and cocktails! Looking forward to trying more things on the menu.

Yelp
Great ambiance, live music was an amazing touch. Service was fantastic, from the waiting staff to the manager. Everyone checked in on us and were very opened to answer our questions. Food was great overall, only thing the table didn't quite enjoy was the octopus. Wished it was more charged/grilled. Otherwise a great experience and will go again to try more menu items.

Yelp
A welcome addition to SLU, the service, decor, and most importantly the food is all worth coming back for. Cheers to the entire staff

Yelp
The food was great and portion sizes were the right amount. The Granola Salad was a stand out, with perfect acidity from the anchovy chardonnay vinaigrette, that paired perfect with the crunch of the walnuts and white chocolate crumble. The Steak Frites entree was cooked spot on to a medium rare temp, and their La Loba Steak Sauce ties that whole dish together. Finishing off a complete dining experience was their Pistachio Tiramisu that was flavorsome with that scoop of espresso ice cream on top. You will not be disappointed by any of the other dishes on their menu as everything else we ate were also delicious, and all the smells and sights of meals going to the other diners were delightful and impressive. Their cocktails were complex yet welcoming. As a person who enjoys a good martini, I've become a huge fan of their Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. The blue cheese fat washed Belvedere presented a pleasant mouthfeel to the cocktail that is a refreshing complement to the Kaffir lime leaf and citrus notes you get from the pairing with Silent Pool gin. I will definitely be back for more those! But the most impressive part of my experience was the staff. From the moment my friend and I arrived, we were greeted with warm and welcoming reception and they quickly got us a cozy space in their lounge to enjoy a cocktail and appetizer while waiting for our reservation. And once our table was ready, we were never rushed and they were patient with us finishing up in the lounge. Our server Clarissa was beyond exceptional in guiding us through their menu and explaining their concept to us. She and the rest of the staff all seemed enthusiastic to be there, they were all fairly knowledgeable about their offerings, and everyone was extremely attentive. Their management team was also very friendly and present, as Joe, John, and Max all made efforts to stop by and ensure we had everything we needed and check in. Altogether, this was an outstanding experience and I look forward to returning again soon to enjoy more of the amazing selections on their menu.

Yelp
Great place! Food is amazing and the staff is on point. Each dish was better than the next! The setting is a little trendy and the atmosphere is perfectly lit. Our server. Kelsey, was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu and dishes we ordered. I went in with a party of 8 and she handled us like a pro! I highly recommend the Tokyo Oysters. I will definitely be going back!

Yelp
We took a chance and booked here for my best friend's birthday on their second day of being open. It was such a good decision. While a bit hard to find within the hotel, the restaurant is so beautiful and well-designed. The temperature, lighting, and noise level were great. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We received amazing service. But the food... I'm always wary of tapas because they can be too small and overpriced, but the food was absolutely phenomenal. We started with the oysters which set an incredibly high bar. I've never had oysters with such a perfect layering of flavors. The smoked candy salmon montadito was creamy, smoky and the crostini was nice and thin. They graciously put the cream cheese on the side for my lactose intolerant friend. We had the cauliflower next which was delicious with the garlic confit but a touch under-done. The patatas bravas were a show stopper. So many beautiful, flaky, crispy layers of potato with a lovely spicy aioli. We capped out the main meal with the black cod. It came out a bit early as we were still working through the patatas bravas and it got a bit cool while we finished. But it was perfectly cooked, the kimchi was delicious and not too spicy. We had the deconstructed key lime pie for desert and it was so fresh and bright. A really nice end to the meal. Everyone was so sweet to my friend, wishing her happy birthday and bringing her a birthday cocktail. It was such a lovely evening and we're already planning to bring others back with us very soon. La Loba was desperately needed in the Seattle food scene and I hope they're around for a very long time.

Yelp
We've been waiting for this restaurant to open since we visited Anima by EDO in Las Vegas. Such a gem. Not an even moderately inferior bite all night. Patatas Bravas and Smoked Candy Salmon Montadito were standouts. Impeccable service. Charming Ambiance. A little noisy but will return for sure.

Yelp
The staff did a great job and was extremely accommodating for our large corporate party. Food and ambiance was top tier. At one point, Danielle asked us it we got everything, and my manager said "everything but the PB&J sandwiches".. and 10 mins later, they brought us a tray of PB&J's (which is not on the menu). Great customer service. Absolutely recommend.

Yelp
Hands down the single greatest dining experience in Seattle. The decor of the restaurant was so well thought out, it created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The table side gin cocktail cart and steak tartare were an entertaining touch and great way to engage with the amazing staff. Every single dish we had was eye catching, tasted even better, and left me not wanting the meal to end. My party and I are so excited to be some of the first to get to experience La Loba. This restaurant is sure to make a huge and lasting impact on Seattle food culture.

Yelp
We were traveling from LA for a girls weekend in Seattle and found the newly opened La Loba and were immediately excited to try it! LA has an excellent food scene so we didn't know what to expect. First, the host desk was so welcoming and warm. Despite us not having a reservation, they were so kind and found us a great table. Honey and Nora were phenomenal and so accommodating! Our server Brian was absolutely incredible and funny. Joe, the manager, took his time to come over and welcome us. Not only was the service and attentiveness beyond anything we have experienced anywhere, the food was also beyond our expectations. The pan con tomate immediately transported us to Spain. The beef tartare presentation was exceptional. The cocktails were fantastic and the space was so incredible and tastefully decorated. Overall, one of the best experience we have had as foodies and highly recommend this place for anyone to have a girls night, a date night, celebrate a special occasion, or just come in to have exceptional food. La Loba is in a class of its own.

Yelp
Your hostess Honey is fantastic - I mistakenly cancelled the reservation for my wife's birthday dinner and thought all hope was lost, but Honey was able to work magic and restore the reservation. Thank you again so much for saving the day!
