The Best Restaurants For Lunch In Downtown LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"LA is a pupusa paradise, but there is only one “La Mamasota.” That’s the name of La Pupusa Urban Eatery’s famous pupusa pizza that easily feeds you and half of the HR department. The sturdy crust on this giant masa cake holds ten pounds of molten cheese and tender chicharrón, and each order comes with a bucket of curtido. And, if you’re looking for something smaller or don’t care for lunchtime gimmicks, order one of the palm-sized pupusas which always hit the spot." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park

The 15 Best Salvadoran Restaurants in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Pupusa power couple Stephanie Figueroa and Juan Saravia remix Salvadoran flavor with LA style, delivering fun mashups like the carne guisada burger — slow-cooked beef layered with curtido and greens on a brioche bun. On the sweets side of the menu is a Salvi-inspired dessert, carney plátanos — carnival-style battered and deep-fried plantains lightly dusted with powdered sugar, drizzled with caramel, and served with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. This Downtown restaurant stands at the forefront of Salvadoran culinary innovation." - Eric Valle

The Best Pupusas In Los Angeles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"La Pupusa Urban Eatery has a long history in LA, spanning multiple decades, locations, and generations. Now it’s run by a husband-and-wife duo who moved their family’s business into a larger DTLA space. La Pupusa riffs on tradition, and no dish exemplifies this better than “La Mamasota." It's a ten-pound pupusa pizza that comes out sliced with a bucket of curtido on the side. (They also do a heart-shaped version, just in case you're hoping for a pupusa-themed wedding reception.) These items might sound Guy Fieri-coded, but they're really quite good. And, if you’re looking for something smaller, order one of the palm-sized pupusas. We especially like the pupusas al pastor and the classic revuelta." - Sylvio Martins, Brant Cox, Nikko Duren

La Pupusa Urban Eatery – A Salvadoran Masterpiece in Every Bite There’s a stretch of Washington Boulevard where the scent of griddled masa drifts through the air like a whispered secret. You follow it, past the bustling sidewalks and the clatter of city life, until you find yourself standing in front of La Pupusa Urban Eatery — a place where time seems to slow and flavor takes center stage. The Dozen Special, a $45 ode to Salvadoran street food, is more than just a meal. It’s a communion, a celebration of everything that makes simple food extraordinary. The Chicharrón Pupusa arrives hot and heavy, its blistered crust holding back a surge of molten cheese and slow-cooked pork. This isn’t the sort of food that coddles you. It demands you pay attention. The pork, marinated to a deep, earthy richness, unravels in your mouth, each bite a reminder of how the simplest ingredients — corn, cheese, meat — can transform into something profound. Next to it sits a cup of Areca, a pineapple-infused agua fresca that cuts through the heft of the pupusas with its bright, citrusy bite. It’s the kind of drink that makes you close your eyes and think of childhood summers, of sticky fingers and sunburned skin, of days that seem to stretch on forever. The Papas Fritas are unassuming, thick-cut and fried to a shattering crunch. But paired with a tangy Salsa Roja, they become something transcendent. The salsa is bright, sharp, unapologetic — a burst of acid and heat that jolts the palate awake. Inside, the walls are a kaleidoscope of Salvadoran pride — vibrant murals, bold colors, a space that feels like it’s been pulled from another time and place. The decor may be casual, but what’s happening in the kitchen is anything but. La Pupusa Urban Eatery doesn’t just serve food; it tells a story. Each bite is a bridge between here and there, between this moment and the generations that came before it. You don’t just taste cheese and pork and corn — you taste memory, heritage, and the unwavering belief that the simplest dishes can be the most profound. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟½ — A place that doesn’t just feed you but reminds you what food can mean. An echo of tradition, a hymn to home. La Pupusa Urban Eatery isn’t just worth a visit; it’s worth remembering.

Every time my wife and I are in LA, La Pupusa Urban Eatery on Washington Blvd is a non-negotiable stop for us. The place just has this chill, welcoming vibe that makes you want to for stay a while, specially the great 90s Spanish music, takes me back to those fun times. The food is a mix of traditional Salvadoran dishes and fun fusion creations that keep the menu interesting. Their traditional Salvadoran breakfast is another level, every bite takes me right back to my Pulgarcito. And the ensalada drink is super refreshing; it ties everything together so well. I also love how they experiment with flavors from other cultures. The cheese over cheese pupusa might sound a little over the top, but trust me, it works. Definitely worth trying. If there’s one downside, it’s the parking. It can be a real headache to find a spot around there. But once you’re inside, the customer service always makes up for it. They’re friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcomed. Bottom line: this place is a must for us whenever we’re in town. Great food, good people, and a vibe that feels like home.

I have been wanting to go here for years. Unfortunately I don't make it out to LA often, but yesterday I did. And it did not disappoint! The staff reminded me of my own family, all the food we tried was delicious. My husband and daughter both had the salvi breakfast burrito, that they both loved. we had some loaded yuca fries for the table, the yuca was perfectly fried. I had a pupusa plate, 2 revueltas and an extra pupusa con queso. Just scrumptious. Special shout-out to whoever fries the plantains, those were gorgeously perfect. The kolashampan float was everything I imagined it to be, I really want to make that at home now.

I have been here a few times over the years and always loved the pupusas. Today I decided to try something new and go the La Koreana fusion with beef and was one if the best dinners I have ever had. With a Hortchata shake I now know what I will be getting every time I anywhere close to this amazing place!

Google
There’s not much really to say other than just come here and eat all the food. It never disappoints and it feels like you’re eating your mothers home cooked meal back in El Salvador. Even if you aren’t from El Salvador, you will not be disappointed and it’ll feel like home. The vibe is right and the food is right!

Google
Hands down one of the best spots for Salvadorean and pupusas in Los Angeles. This is a must when you are visiting the area and you want a piece of El Salvador. As you can see… I ordered a little of everything and did not disappoint. It honestly left me wanting more, more and more. I honestly cannot wait for my next trip. Make sure not to eat anything prior to visiting as you will eat well here. Please is set in a nice local neighbourhood. The owners are always there and make you feel at home, very clean, all their staff is very friendly and courteous. Make sure to ask if your not sure, they will explain you the menu well, if you are not Salvadorean. Definitely a cuisine you must try. Keep on eating and have fun! #chicocares

Yelp
I've had pan con pollo at other "salvi" spots and they always disappoint because the bread is too crunchy or stingy with the chicken. However, at La Pupusa Urban Eatery they know the assignment. Fresh bread and the flavor is fire. If you haven't visited, you're missing out!
google avatar

Yelp
The pupusas where horrible Wasn't worth the price I'll give them credit for the yuca con chicharrón But will never come back

Yelp
Now this is something new for me! During a friend's birthday a giant pupusa was ordered. It came out of a pizza box and was totally thrown off thinking we were having pizza but I was tricked! It was a giant pupusa!! I've never had anything like this in my life and this is somewhat of a game changer. The ingredients inside were proportioned nicely. The only thing I had an issue with is that it is pretty much a pizza so it was cut in pizza slices. This takes away some of that masa that you would bite into if you were eating a pupusa. Think of it as you're always eating the middle. So if you are a middle eating pupusa eater than this is definitely for you! Another thing is, I am not an expert pupusa eater but the salsa rojo needed something. Was able to enjoy it with just the curtido, but thats just me. Parking: street parking VERDICT: One and done

Yelp
We stopped in on a blistering hot Sunday around noon, hoping that the heat would keep the crowds away. Nope, we still had to wait around twenty minutes for a table. But the Salvi chorizo burger with egg made the wait worth it... The Salvadorian spices in the sausage, wow! My girlfriend ordered a pupusa with egg on it, which had never occurred to me, and which is now my favorite way to enjoy a pupusa.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for a loooong time (I live in SF) and today I finally got to try it. I gotta say it did not disappoint me! We ordered "la mañanera", the keto pupusa (with chicharrón), one pupusa revuelta and one cheese and chicharrón, the fried fish, fried yuca with chicharron, a frsco de ensalada and the kolashampan floats (one with vanilla ice cream and the other with sherbet). EVERYTHING was served relatively fast (the food is prepared when you order) and delicious! Their pupusas are one of the best I have had in a while. The place is small but very nicely decorated. And Zuleima, our waitress, very nice and helpful.

Yelp
The location has very limited parking but once you find parking it is worth the drive. The inside was well kept and incredibly homey, I was able to order ahead so pick up was super quick and easy. The cashier was friendly and ultimately the food was delicious!

Yelp
Amazing food, so much to try. Service is great feels like family is serving you when you're in there. Chill vibes dope music on while you're enjoying the food.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing pupusas and great expansion of the menu to include extra toppings on pupusas. Friendly service and a good space to eat in if needed. I'd recommend ordering ahead to avoid wait times since they can get busy

Yelp
We saw this restaurant on triple d, and we're intrigued by it. Overall, it's a solid place to get your El Salvadorian fix. The Pupusas we're very tasty, we got the chicharon and the chorizo. Frankly the chorizo was the better of the two. I got the breakfast special with the eggs and the side of beans. The beans and rice were actually very tasty, and a nice surprise. Service was decent and the place itself has some charm and a good amount of interior space to eat in. Prices are pretty reasonable. My only real issue here is the amount of protein and cheese in the Pupusas. There's simply was not enough of either... When Guy had his, they were packed with meat and cheese...

Yelp
Very fresh and good Service excellent Just the bathroom wasn't working and after they use pinesol to clean during our lunch not good
google avatar

Lisset E.

Yelp
So I've been here a couple of times and i can't get over how cute this restaurant is. I was pleased to see that they are expanding as seating is a bit limited. Can't wait to bring the whole fam. Parking is also a bit limited also but worth the hassle. Everything I order is always on point. The Pupusas are made to perfection...very cheesy. The pan con pollo was flavorful and it reminded me of the one my mom makes and not to mention the empanadas. Empanadas have always been my favorite. I love the twist on some of the dishes that they offer. Like the Ensalada en Fuego. Great twist on a classic. I enjoyed the drink and it was very refreshing.

Yelp
Salvadoran LA legends! Not being afraid to expand their cultural eats, the team at La Pupusa have created a huge pizza-like pupusa and pupusa bombs among other unique pupusa dishes that push the boundaries of tradition. THEY NAIL IT and THEY HAVE VEGAN OPTIONS. I got bean Pupusas, yuca fries, pan con chumpe, and some drinks. Congrats to them for being Guy Fieri approved and featured in Diners, Drive-In, and Dives. Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer

Yelp
La pupusa urban eatery is located in Los Angeles and is one of those hidden gems that you better not fall asleep on ! Parking is difficult so be aware. You will have to park on the street which can sometimes be difficult considering that the parking is located in a residential area . The ambiance is pretty chill but when my wife and I went they were expanding and doing some construction inside. They also sell some typical Salvadoran trinkets which is super cool! The service is friendly and super helpful! They definitely make you feel at home ! Prices are moderate to high but I think you get your moneys worth because they definitely hook it up with the fillings inside their pupusas! The taste of the pupusas taste exactly like the ones from El Salvador overall I definitely recommend you Check them out !

Yelp
Awesome little pupusa eatery located on the outskirts of downtown LA (or adjacent?). It's got a pretty extensive menu with more modern takes of El Salvadoran food on one side and more traditional dishes on the other. I ordered the La Mananera or the breakfast pupusa. Basically your choice of pupusa topped with eggs and served with some crema and a small side of casamiento. It was so satisfying to take that first jab of fork into that pupusa and watch the runny yolk run over it. I took a bite and it was delicious. I took a second bite with some added crema, which even made it more delicious. The casamiento is tasty and well seasoned. They leave you some cabbage, and that salsa on the side so you could add it for an extra flavor. I also ordered the loaded yuca fries to share with the table. It was a lot of food. I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach because there were lots of leftovers. My friend ordered some extra pupusas as well so we can try some more different flavors like the pepperoni pupusa. The place itself is pretty small. There's only like six tables in the room. The service is super friendly. You order from the counter and sit down and they bring the food to you. It's a really cozy setting and feels like a hidden gem out in the area. I'm a pretty big fan of this place. I don't have a lot of experience with food from El Salvador, but all I know is that this was really good. I would love to come back and try some other more traditional dishes as well. The prices are super reasonable and the food is a lot more than you think it is in terms of portion size. I seriously left stuffed with lots to take home. Parking here might be a little tough because it's actually pretty busy in terms of traffic. I had to park about two blocks away and my friend at the park at three blocks away.

Yelp
I don't have any pictures but I'm giving them 5 stars due to their menu options. They have vegan and vegetarian options while still keeping our savory and delicious Salvadoran flavors. I got a yucca preparada with veggies instead of the meat and it tasted so comforting. It was also filling and the portion was great! My boyfriend got the vegan cheese and bean pupusas. And he was amazed that they were vegan. I got 2 reg. Cheese and lorroco, as well as cheese and ayote. They were delicious and the cheese they used did not upset my stomach. The horchata was decent, I like mine thick and this one was a bit watery. Ratings based on flavor, quality, and quantity Vegan options 5/5 Regular option 4/5

Yelp
The service was friendly and the food was good. I really liked the chicken soup, The pupusa was delicious. The only problem is parking and everything tastes very good and it seems like they make it as they go.
google avatar

Billy M.

Yelp
Finally got to try it. I had a hard time choosing so I got as much as I could eat Pupusa topped with fried egg and side of Salvadoran sour cream and casamiento Loaded Yucca Fries with Chicharon Salvadoran breakfast: Salvadoran chorizo, eggs, casamiento, queso fresco, sour cream, fried plantains, handmade tortillas Tamal de Pollo con pan Frances Salvadoran Horchata and Spicy Ensalada Jalapeño Cheese Pupusa Bomb Quiet the feast but it was all amazing. My first time trying a few of the fusion/hybrid items but I loved them. Can't wait to come back
google avatar

Salvador D.

Yelp
Their signature fusion pupusas, and also their 18" pupusa are great. Totally recommend. Their "traditional" pupusas are great.
google avatar

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Food is AMAZING!!! I love the Salvi/Mex fusion. Service is great too, they're fast and friendly.
google avatar

Jenine Y.

Yelp
The ambiance at this place is undeniably fantastic, with its cool and relaxed vibe. The people here are great. However, I must say, the pupusas didn't quite live up to expectations. There was an issue with the masa--it was a tad too dry for my liking. To elaborate further, the texture reminded me of the slightly dehydrated feeling you get when you refrigerate leftover pupusas before reheating them. Additionally, the filling in mine seemed a bit sparse compared to what I've seen in photos. Nonetheless, while I appreciate that it resonates with others, I'm grateful that our city boasts numerous other delightful pupuserias to explore.

Alex S.

Yelp
Drove from Palm Springs on a Sunday to find the place closed and absolutely no parking this place should update their hours so people don't waste their time coming for nothing

TY H.

Yelp
So good! I had the pupusa with beef and cheese, but you can pick from any of the fillings. Had an egg on top and you can choose the style. I went with over easy but it was a tad over cooked so the yolk didn't drip. If you dine in, they provide a whole container of curtido. So good. There's also a side sauce but truly not necessary because the dish is good on its own. Street parking available.
google avatar

Edward S.

Yelp
LA Pupusa Urban Eatery is a Salvadoran spot by the 10 and 110, at the edge of DTLA. This is the place to be if you are in search of large crispy masa griddle cakes with fillings, such as cheese, pork, beans, loroco, or squash. There are also some interesting Mexican fusion items on the menu. Pupusa de Loroco y Chicharron: The masa is thick, dense, chewy, and crispy. Lorocos are edible green flower buds. Some say that loroco tastes like artichoke or chard, which it does. It also tastes like tiny green beans, but slightly sweet and with a snap. The chicharron is fried pork shredded into little bits. The cheese is firm and tangy. The curtido's pickled cabbage, onions, and carrots provide a tart crunchy texture spiked with oregano. The tomato sauce tastes like a slightly spicy marinara sauce. Ordering: There's a counter with a screen in the center of the eatery. Once you've ordered, they'll bring your food to one of the sidewalk tables in about 20 minutes. It's pretty busy, so you could place the order before you leave.

Yelp
I was looking for an authentic Salvadoran restaurant in the area. I saw a TikTok video of this giant pupusa and had to try it for myself. Native Salvadoran that I am the food was amazing. The owners are down to earth super friendly. The staff treat you like family. The location is small but working on expanding it for better seating. The food was all delicious!!
google avatar

Sam M.

Yelp
A little overpriced for the portion of the pan con pollo but still delicious. I love coming here because the chicken in the pan is completely deboned. Love the people and the food is always tasty and fresh.
google avatar

Jaemy Z.

Yelp
The most authentic tasting Pupuseria I have ever been to! I have tried so many places and this one is just as good as my great grandmother's Salvadorian food!!! The drive was sooo worth it. Great customer service!
google avatar

Janelle R.

Yelp
Favorite pupusa spot! I love their queso con chicharron pupusas because they have a perfect ratio of filling. Platanos Fritos con frijoles y crema is a must; it comes with a lot of plantains, and they're cooked perfectly sweet. To complete the meal, their passion fruit juice is one of the best that I've had in the area. It's refreshing and not too sweet. There is indoor dining and they accept card payments. The only possible issue can be that street parking is a bit tough in this area. If you come on a weekday during off-peak hours, it's not too bad. Weekend lunches may be a struggle for parking.
google avatar

Emad R.

Yelp
Probably one of the best pupusa spots in LA. Not too oily which is great and they taste amazing. We ordered a bunch of different pupusa's to go and surprisingly they were still hot by time we got home and opened them up. Only thing is the pupusas are a bit pricy. Other than that I definitely would recommend this spot.
google avatar

Natalie E.

Yelp
We were greeted with a warm welcome. The place is still under construction, so it's a little smalll and they have their stuff and tools hidden behind a bench for now, but the walls are painted pretty. We tried a bean pupusa and the actual pupusa part (made with masa) was delicious. The rest of the dish was typical, not the most flavorful. We were only able to order that since we decided to come to check out as seen on DDD as we had an unexpected drive to LAX. The waiter did not seem happy about our order. He served our water very later, after I asked for it. We paid with cash and he paid our change in pennies. Not really worth another trip out to LA for.

Cindy P.

Yelp
This is my first and last time buying from this place. I bought 7 pupusas and all, but 1 were burned. They did not taste fresh either. It's almost like they pulled them out of the freezer and just reheated them.
google avatar

Lin J.

Yelp
I went here because I saw it on Food Network. When arriving I was a little disappointed in the interior dining space. I sat a table near front door however my back was against this curtain that was being used as a wall. It was not completely closed and I could see there were boxes and storage behind it. Made me a little nervous because I didn't know who would or could walk up behind me from that space. Moving onto the selection on the menu. If your not familiar with the food then I feel like it's a guess on what you get. The I just picked item that was featured on the show and some other random choices of pupusa. After eating I did get full but was somewhat disappointed. I was expecting to be wow' but I think it was average at best. Probably wouldn't go back. Needless to say parking is horrible as well. Street parking on a busy street.
google avatar

Matt J.

Yelp
I keep coming back for more... they have a lot of different types of pupusas, my favorite is the carne asada and pepperoni.
google avatar

Halle B.

Yelp
These pupusas were definitely some of the great ones I've tried! Very fresh, I love the thickness of the pupusas. I think we got one in every type they offered. The staff were fast & prompt, got my food out very quickly & accurately! It's a small little shop, not too many indoor seating // since these photos have been taken, they have now removed their outdoor seating. It's on a side street so don't blink too fast you might miss it lol
google avatar

Joel C.

Yelp
They have some really good food here. The service was good as well. The pipusas are about 4.25 a bit more if you want some signature ones. Two will be good for you 3 if you're really hungry
google avatar

Cindy M.

Yelp
My husband and I visited this place for the first time and were so happy that we finally did. We got our order taken by the owner and he was super nice and explained the menu to us. The waitress was also very nice. The pupusas were delish, we ordered the enpanadas and a side of the casamiento that also did not disappoint. Thank you to Juan and Stephanie for having an amazing place and one that connects us to our culture of Central America. Can't wait to visit again.

Rosemary M.

Yelp
Pupusas Revueltas are my favorite!! If you are n the downtown area this is the place to come. This is the place to get them !!

Yelp
Corazon Pupusa (Heart Shape) CORAZON: QUESO/CHEESE Cute and delicious! 5/5 Stars Aguas Frescas (drink) Variation: Pineapple 5/5 stars Loaded Fries: Choose Meat: Pollo,Pastor Add Egg with lemon taste 5/5 Stars La Mamasota (large Pupusa looks like a pizza): 5/5 stars The food and drinks here are outstanding! Spent $120 here and I don't regret it. Amazing friendly service and the cook knows how to make the food taste out of this world. I watched a video on instagram With Asian girl with blue hair make Pupusa and my boyfriend loves Pupusas so I had to take him here to try it all. My personal favorite was the loaded fries with hints of lemon and meat again was best quality cooked. I will definitely come here again, drove from Orange County. I recommend everyone to try this place, From the customer service to the food this place has everything you need. Amazing and satisfying!!! Thank you
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
This place is great, the vibe and it looks like there are expanding which is great. Just be patient with parking but besides that the pupusas are on pint and I heard that the rest of the menu is really good a well. I'll let you know over time as I go deeper into the menu.

Cecilia M.

Yelp
This is a very authentic salvadorean food Staff is very pleasant. Soon, there will be more room. Family friendly. Menu has a variety to choose from. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Best pupusas in LA, by far. Whenever my family has gatherings and we are craving pupusas, this is the place to go. Their horchata is sooo good as well. Parking sucks around this area but its so worth the walk. Not greasy, full of delicious-ness, these pupusas are not to be missed. We always get the revueltas and just cheese. You can tell they are made with love. The platanos fritos are SO good too. I will forever by loyal to this pupusa spot. My sister loves their pan con pollo which i have not had but their mañanera is also FIRE.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I love this place! Never been disappointed! The service is good and the food is always delicious! Ambiance is cozy but friendly. This time around I got something new and was so happy I did! I got the yucca fries with asada... it was absolutely delicious! The carne asada was seasoned so well and tasty and the yucca was perfect( nothing worse than wanting yucca and it is all tayuda and dry! Haha)!
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
The best salvadorian food in DTLA!! I stopped by and had the best experience. I was promptly seated and given a menu where I saw the extensive menu filled with various OG salvadorian favorites. The pupusas are delicious and CHEESY. I loved that they are the only restaurant I know to carry SALVI FRIES that taste just like from the carnival. Although they don't have a restroom at the moment due to expansion, I was able to use the restroom at the liquor store 2 doors down. The whole community is very nice and I will continue to support! Thank you La PUPUSA for a great time on a Sunday afternoon

Lizett C.

Yelp
Terrible customer service! I used this catering service for my daughters birthday and not only did they depart 30 mins early that was in our contracted time, but left no food behind. The catering staff did not inform me they were leaving. Will never recommend this restaurant to anybody. The owner Juan S. Never returned my calls or emails. Poor service.

Yelp
I came by on a Sunday looking a good local spot to take my girlfriend. I'm so happy I found this gem. She always craved authentic salvadorian at I could never find anything it the area. I'm so glad I found this place! The pupusas are delicious and flavorful. They have great drink options as well, I liked the ensalada fruit drink they have it was very refreshing. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Excellent pupusas and sides and a good number of vegetarian options. They also sell Salvadoran magnets and stickers in-store.

Yelp
The food is really delicious. Prepare for street parking. They accept Apple Pay here. The service is wonderful. You pay at the cash register but you can dine in with them. I also think it is cool that they have a pupusa pizza. Definitely going to return.

Yelp
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! The place was completely empty on a Sunday around noon. We walked in with a party of 8- the lady there was not pleasant, when asked about the restroom, she said "there's no restroom here for anyone". I asked if the restroom was for customers because we were seated already and she rudely repeated "there are no restrooms here for anyone". I asked if there was a place nearby where my husband could use the restroom and she responded that "no one around here let's people use their restroom". I've been to plenty of places that don't have restrooms but they are not rude. Lady needs customer service training. A smile doesn't hurt. Hope she's not the owner. Next, eight hungry people walked out. Now I understand why the place was empty on a Sunday at noon.

Yelp
Omg love this spot I got the special on a Thursday of 12 pupusas I ate 2 here took the rest home. Ate on the sidewalk table with my friend. The lady working offered us a chair while we wait I love when ppl are kind and go out of their way. She didn't have to n she did. They aren't stingy with the quality and quantity of the food. These are the best pupusas I've ever had in a restaurant ever. I tried the ensalada for the first time it's so good my friend ordered that I thought she ordered a salad but it's a drink and it was so yummy now I know.

Yelp
I recently placed a catering order. Prices were great compared to other pupuserias. I ordered pupusas made with arroz and wow!! They were delicious! The pupusas were soft, not overcooked like other pupuserias, perfect amount of queso, the revueltas were also filled to perfection! I will definitely order again for events and highly recommend La Pupusa Urban Eatery.
