La Salita

"A superb example of how perseverance, effort and solid values in the face of fresh challenges helps you to grow professionally. This restaurant, occupying an impressive mansion in the city’s Ruzafa district that has been decorated with plenty of charm and personality, stands out for its different dining options. In addition to the main dining room upstairs, it also boasts a pretty garden, two attractive tables in front of the kitchen and a particularly pleasant terrace where guests can enjoy aperitifs, a meal or a relaxing post-dinner drink. Chef Begoña Rodrigo showcases her talents on several tasting menus (Sangoreneta, Llauro Sangoreneta, Novençà, El Llauro), several of which are vegetarian, and which demonstrate her characteristic feminine touch and elegance, in particular the way she elevates the cooking of vegetables to new heights. Don’t leave without tasting La Tiara, one of her signature dishes." - Michelin Inspector

Wow is nothing to say about the experience we had. We came during lunch and the whole 9 set menu la Salita takes us 3 hours I like the garden and seating outside , but you will be changing the location during your food journey , what i really like is the attention to details , very professional service and the food quality All the food was not processed or overcooked , the main principe to serve the freshness and vitality of each ingredient I would definitely give 2 stars and come back again

Superb culinary experience, elevated by the kind and attentive staff. The house is also full of stories, definitely a must if you're in the area.

One of the best Michelin star restaurants where I’ve ever been. Everything was delightfully presented. The degustation menu was perfectly balanced. 11 dishes… all good. Also the cocktail and the amouse bouche at the beginning was perfect. Hope to see the chef to eni prosit in Udine also this year!

It is an excellent 1 star restaurant worth visiting. It has a very cozy internal patio as well as great dining rooms. The menu is quite extensive, interesting and delicious. The service is impeccable. The wine list is excellent with a lot of good wines for any budget. The barman is making amazing author's cocktails. It is great that they have a special kids menu so you can enjoy the experience with your children, that is rather rare for such restaurants.

My wife took me here for my birthday dinner and there’s no other dinner I’ve had in my life that comes close to La Salita. With one Michelin star, this place blows you away using all five of your senses. The decor inside is just has impressive as their food. The service is among the best in the business. Our 10 course feast was unforgettable. It’s focused on vegetables, but there is some meat and fish sprinkled in. Presentation is, undoubtedly so, otherworldly. Their cocktails were my favorite part of the night. If Michelin had a cocktail category, their drinks would definitely be on it. A very expensive place to have dinner (almost $500 USD for dinner for two), but money can’t buy what you experience here.

From start to finish a truly amazing meal. Dishes were inventive and delicious. The cocktail menu was hugely varied and inventive with so many amazing options. The service was attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about each dish. Ambience was really unbeatable (the building was very cool, the decor was impressive and the soundtrack playing in the background was perfect!). A truly amazing evening at a remarkable restaurant!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and great service. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal. One of the waiters was particularly jovial and it was very wholesome. The food was amazing. A lot of local ingredients and flavours with some international (I think a lot of Japanese inspiration). My favourite dish was the hake and my companion's favourite was the goat cheese dessert. But pretty much every dish was hitting the mark.
