We enjoyed our food very much. I had the Croque Madame and my boyfriend had the risotto. We shared the crème brute for dessert accompanied by cappuccinos.

Great for tourists. Fantastic modern decor. Decent food but not great. Quite enjoyable until it came time to pay. Then we were faced with a VERY aggressive “I expect more than service compris” from our server. We did not agree and our server was very upset and ignored us from that point on. Refused to acknowledge us as we left. Nothing has changed from when I was a kid living in Paris. Nobody likes tourists.

Crowded with very good vibe and amazing service. Food is average but the waitresses as very very cool. Each of them wearing the dress or outfit they choose themselves to show the character. I loved being there. It’s not about food though it’s more about lifestyle.

All American please pay attention!! Good ambiance and good looking people in general. However, waiters were kind of rude. The food was mediocre. The worst thing is they forced tip on me and told me people pay around 20%- 25% (after they saw my american credit card) for tip which is not a social norm in Paris after confirmed with several local friends. Im happy to pay tip but I do not like it when being scammed because we are from US and we are used to tip in US.

We visit evening and while eating the food there where many flies on food and in the restaurant. Flies on food ! The manager say you eat from the food and he dont care on flies. He did not see fit to even apologize and only blamed that we ate the food when the portions were half full. During the argument flies fly in front of the manager and on the food while being completely ignored.

I loved my meal which was Le Tigre and my wife had the morel pasta which was great as well. We also tried the nems. The ambiance is nice, great for a date.

Quiet, well appointed ambiance. Attentive and friendly staff. The petit chateau was cooked perfectly (medium rare). The spicy lobster pasta is spicy, with al dente pasta, surrounded by chunks of lobster.

My husband and I were here for his birthday when we were traveling in Paris. We sat outside and the ambiance was great throughout. All the food was pretty good and they even brought out our dessert with a little candle for my husband. It was quite lovely. Would love to return if we visit Paris again.

Lovely Saint Germaine restaurant with the best slightly dirty vodka martini I have had in a long while. So good I had two! Then on to the tomato mozzarella starter and for the main...the sea bass. Beautiful meal, in a lovely restaurant. The staff was top notch. Bathrooms were really cool. Highly recommend this restaurant but do expect to pay premium prices.

Must try if you are in Paris, the place is lovely !Everything here is fancy good food, nice upscale interior. Service was excellent. Most of the waiters were speaking French but there were some that spoke English which was nice! I had the sea bass in coconut curry, which was delicious it had perfect flavor.

This is elegant dining with a super friendly staff and thoughtfully prepared food. It is the perfect storm of fine dining. The vibe is classic and elegant. The staff is super attentive. The food is commensurate with the design, which is impeccably displayed on every surface. Bring your Amex black card, you may need it.

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant and others in this group. It's modern and chic. You feel as if you are having a very sophisticated lunch especially if shopping will be taking place afterwards! Food/drinks - I've been here several times over the years and typically order the same dishes. The spicy tuna tartare is excellent. The tuna and avocado balance is awesome. The sea bass with chili sauce is outstanding, which I get rice as the side and the combination with that sauce is to die for. The classic club sandwich made with chicken and served with thin fries. This is a good option if you want something simple. The wines by the glass are good. I typically get the Pouilly-Fume. The pours can be on the smaller side. Go and enjoy lunch here in this great neighborhood and walk your lunch off with a little shopping!

Great ambiance... Visited twice! Came back for the Le Bilboquet... It's perfection! Comes with a nice price tag but so worth it. Obvi I came back just for this drink! My first visit I had the: Foie Gras - wonderful Mandarins Crispy Duck - great flavor a bit over cooked but still very good Mini Cuulant au chocolat (gluten free) - excellent molten lave cake Honorable mentions: (what my hubs got) Belle salads tomate avocation concombre - looked amazing very colorful and fresh Tom yam chilling sea bass - hubs said it was great flavor... Fantastic are his exact words Apple tart (he got this both days and it's now his favorite at this restaurant! Both visits Le Bilboquet - just call me a lush! Lol Apple tart Serves was excellent and the servers aren't bad on the eyes...over all great experience!

We came here upon the enthusiastic recommendation of some of our foodie friends. We got reservations despite it being Fashion Week, and enjoyed being seated amongst all the Fashion Week chatter while there. First off, the waitresses are so stunningly beautiful! And I love they carry everything in purses. Such a fun touch! The ambience is sleek, chic, and modern, and the waitresses fit that model. My hubby noted that he could see why our friend had enjoyed it so much! ha! But the fab news is that the service here is amazingly friendly and helpful... yay great service! We had the foie gras starter since it was our last night in Paris, and I must say, it was fine. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was pretty good. I feel like we should have had something else instead, but c'est la vie. Hubby got the crispy duck, again, based on the enthusiastic recommendation of our friend, and it really was amazingly well done. I had the filet with steamed spinach and a side order of pommes frites. All of it very delicious; none of it being a first time for those dishes in my life nor being the best I've ever had (but still great if that makes sense). Our waitress was an amazing help in selecting our wine, Gevrey Chambertin, that went perfectly with both of our entrees. Ah, french wine - I miss it so. The absolute best part of our meal was dessert - a salted caramel eclair! I'm still dreaming about it... I will say that I didn't feel like this place was very Parisian; I easily could have been in NYC, Vegas, or ATL as I was Paris, but it was very good and would be great for a group meal. If you're looking for a traditional Parisian experience, I'd look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a tres chic trendy Parisian experience, where ambience and the see-and-be-seen aspect is alive and well, this is your spot!

Very chic, more NY trendy than French style. Food is indeed French, modern French, nonetheless very good. The duck in all versions is the star of the show, alongside the mash potatoes ( yes, the potatoes are a must side). Make sure they will give you bread and butter as the butter is truly very good. Place is very expensive compare to other places around, but if you feel you want a trendy place and change of the old fashion French vibe (which is my favorite thing about Paris) ... try this

My favorite meal in Paris. You enter a building and behind an inconspicuous door is this beautiful restaurant in the middle of the city. The interior is beautiful and so is the crowd that comes along with the fabulous food. My husband is vegetarian and finding a vegetarian spot in Paris is harder than I imagined. We were delighted to see that he had great options including the vegetable soup and a pasta. I decided to go with the green bean salad, which is very simple but super tasty, and the tom khan sea bass. I would highly recommend ordering the sea bass!

Went to Paris back in March of 2016 and had a lovely lunch outdoors here. It was a little chilly, but nonetheless I had an amazing lunch here. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Great food, drink and atmosphere!

A little pricey but the service and food were excellent! The sea bass, shrimp dumplings and tuna tartare were delish! And the French fries for a side dish along with green beans were just out of this world. All worth it to go and indulge again!

A great place for a big splurge meal before departing Paris. Great St. Germaine location. We loved the tres chic modern decor. We chose the chateau filet angus grille bearnaise of bouerf and la sole because they're French classics. The filet was cooked perfectly and so tender, you barely needed a knife. The sole was crispy outside yet tender and moist inside and comes with a bucket of frites that were perfectly done--highly recommended. I was here with the team driver/translator. But, the staff speaks perfect anglaise and is politely patient even with les Americaines.

Amazing food and service!! Went here last night with my family and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is very comfortable and not overwhelming at all. The waiters were super polite and helpful! The food (which was the best part) was absolutely amazing!! I had the oysters as my appetizer and they tasted very fresh. I had the spicy lobster pasta for my entree. This dish was the highlight of my dinner! I'm not a big tomato sauce fan, but this has made me a fan! The sauce was not too spicy and very flavorful. The lobster tasted fresh too. For dessert I had the lemon sorbet. I am a huge lemon person and this did not disappoint! I definitely recommend this restaurant! It was a highlight of my trip in Paris!!

High end. Everything was delicious. The oysters to salmon entree. Wine list was limited but great options. Cheesecake was so good. Make sure to finish your meal with it.

Super cool but too cool for mere mortals. Brought to us by the Costes group, this trendy restaurant in the heart of St. Germain suffers from the typical poor service and moderate food that is equally found at its sister establishments. But hey, one has to suffer to be beautiful. Gets packed so make sure to have a reservation.

We ended up here after going to another restaurant and being told the concierge at our hotel had cancelled our reservations. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and desserts. My 12 year old niece had the spicy lobster pasta, my sister the chicken with curry and mango and I had the tiger beef. All of us just kept talking about how good our food was with wonderful flavors. Service waz excellent and staff very attentive. We had been looking forward to going to the restaurant where we had our reservations but I think we had an even better experience here. We were happy to be inside to enjoy the lovely ambiance. A great end on our last night in Paris!

The name says it all "The Society". Despite being situated right in the center of Saint-Germain, La Société is trendy and still makes you feel like part of an elite. The people are dressed nice, the food is expensive, and the decor is very chic. This is the epitome of a Costes restaurant and has the price tag that comes with it. You will never be disappointed with the food, which is good, but the menu is very much like the other Costes places. I particularly like the steak dish called le Tigre qui pleure. It comes with an Asian inspired sauce with whatever side you want. Good place for dinner or drinks, and during the spring/ summer the outside terrasse is nice with great people watching.

The greatest Costes restaurant in Paris, even if the menu is the same in every costes, the food seems much better at La Société. The thaï beef tenderloin was amazing!! Great cocktail, nothing new or spectacular but the classic are very good. They have different DJ's from all over the world every night who play great music. The waitress are dressed like red carpet night so make sure you're nicely dressed! Trendy, classy, good atmosphere.

They serve the same menu as costes hotel. I liked costes vibes more Food and cleanliness is very good Casual chic!

We went here for dinner on a Thursday at 8pm. I guess 8 pm is a little early for Paris time as when we arrived we were one of 5 tables, but by the time we left the place was PACKED. Loved the ambience, the space was chic and modern, service was excellent but also very attractive (6 ft tall models ). My boyfriend and I had martinis - he -a classic, me-a fruity girly one, both were excellent. The menu is pretty par for the course, as far as upper american dining is concerned. I had the tuna tartare and the burrata salad, by boyfriend had a steak. We were both SUPER happy with the quality and taste of our food! My boyfriend said the steak could have been the best steak he ever had. If we lived in Paris we would go all the time! If you are visiting it's a must !

The only thing good about the place is the atmosphere. Otherwise, bettter save your euros for a real reataurant. Major Disapppintment. Don't get Le Tigre or the mashed potatoes made out of a box.

Our food was cold and prices do not warrant the quality or taste of the food. I would skip it and eat at one of the many amazing restaurants in Paris.

American tourists who tried Societe on yelp reviews. got taken!! we were charged for 3 glasses of wine that we never ordered. Over $50.00 us dollars. BEWARE!

La Société had good (yet pricey) food. The reason for the 3 stars is the fact that until the restaurant realized I was meeting up with a friend who is also a very well-known businessman, they placed me and my two young teens in the very, very, very back of the otherwise empty restaurant. As soon as my friend arrived, they realized I was with him, came and got me and put us (including the "banished teens") on the terrace. I laughed at their ridiculousness and that they had to put my kids on display, but they have no idea who they are banishing to the back of the room.

Another restaurant by the Costes group, La Societe is modern, dark and sexy and definitely more about the ambiance than the food. That being said the food was decent enough. The menu is almost identical to that at Hotel Costes. We ordered the lamb and the penne and both were good, but neither mind blowing. Cocktails are strong and pricey. I'd say between the two, I far prefer the atmosphere at Costes.

This restaurant was beautiful inside. Very modern decorations. The staff was beautiful and very helpful until the end. The food was overpriced for what was served. The room was very warm and lacked ventilation. When we asked for the check, our server told us the tip was not included although the check indicated it was. She would not let us pay the check until we agreed to add another 15% to our check. When we asked the manager about the tip he stated it was included. He offered us two glasses of wine but did not offer to reverse the check. It seemed we were targeted as Americans even though we spend a fair amount of time here in Paris. It is a shame such a nice restaurant was tainted by scam artists.

One of my favourites in Paris. Love the slick interior, the posh atmosphere - maybe not so much the spicy bill at the end, but ok. Make sure to try 'le tigre qui pleure', by far the most delicious thai beef I ever had.

I had the soup, mmmm. I also tasted the escargo which was wonderful. Everyone else seemed happy with their appetizers. Our waitress was beautiful and barely covered. I don't think our dinner would have been as nice without her. Dinner was good. The dessert was wonderful. Very pricey. If good original food, atmosphere, experience and making an expensive impression is important to you, this would be a good place to go.

The food is good, typical Costes Group. The setting is very cool and hip. A place where you enjoy food, people watching, and music.

The thai beef was excellent. I also liked the chilean sea bass and especially the eggplant appetizer. This place was pricey but a nice atmosphere and I would definitely go back. Be sure to dress to impress (half the men there were wearing suits). Our server was friendly and helpful as was the staff at the front door.

this is owned by the same family as L'Avenue and the menu will be exactly the same. The décor inside is kind of museum-like (a bit stuffy), but its great food and good service nonetheless. outdoor seating when available is in the middle of the block in a boxed-off area. I didn't sit out there because it didn't seem inviting.

Ate at la Societe last night. We were 12. Big table was ready when we got there. Nice decor. Nice atmosphere. Everyone raved about their food. My avocado salad was simply out of this world but I was disappointed by the lobster pasta! At best average. However, i spent about 1,000 euros. A serious bill by any definition! What upset me was that our nice waitress explained to us that service was not included. Could not see it on the bill. I was taken aback since I had always heard that by law service is always included. However, since I am still naive enough to think that I should not cheat my hard working otherwise very pleasant waitress I was confused and a bit suspicious and asked her if 15% was appropriate. She said it was up to me. So I left her 160 euros. Feel stupid now but in reality more angry at the management for allowing this situation to arise. As a result, I will never be back!

Crazy, amazing , delicious food. Service is over the top. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that LOVES good food. Also great atmosphere for a romantic dinner!!

Great food , good drinks but although security was present , my whalet is stolen with 5400 euro cash .... Police returned my whalet 30 minutes later ... Strange situation ... Security of the restaurant is in the game .... Nice 1 year anniversary of my marriage ...

Delicious food, Le Tigre was so tasty. Attentive service and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic date. It was a perfect dinner for our last night in Paris

Excellent little place in Saint-Germain. The sashimi's were spectacular and so were main courses that everybody had in the table. I ordered the Thai beef and it was phenomenal, soft and tasteful and the sauce was not overpowering the quality of the steak. The service was amazing as well and the bartenders make some great drinks. If you are in Paris this place is a must with its chic atmosphere, food, and drinks you could enjoy your self for hours. Be preppared to spend though because it is not cheap but well worth it.

La Societe was recomended to us. A very pretty setting and very good food. Service was good . The BIG Drawback was the unpleasant music that was so loud it was hard to hear my companion. In spite of a tempting desert menu we decided to leave after the main couse because of the music- when we complained about the loud music the hat checker said "I know" except for the music this would be a sure 4 and maybe 5 for us
