"La Strega in Summerlin is one of our favorite Italian spots, where you can have a low-key dinner off the Strip. The small but airy dining room is a great place to enjoy some peace, blistered-tomato pomodoro pasta, and a smoked olive oil-infused martini. Meet up here with a friend and dive into slices of the Spicy Pig pie topped with soppressata and the grilled Spanish branzino covered in crispy herbs. "Founded in 2016 by Nat Gelb out of a desire to create a more human dining connection after moving to Brooklyn, this is a membership-only supper-club model that has expanded to 17 cities and added D.C. in 2019. Gelb says he “wanted to connect on a human level,” and the experience is built around that idea: each meal is a five-course tasting-menu experience with communal seating, and the number of diners varies by restaurant size. In D.C., Gelb notes diners often attend in groups of two, but “there are also more solo attendees than in other cities.” Pricing: an annual fee of $165, plus $75 per ticket; members can also pay to bring non-members." - Alyssa Langer
"This charming Italian restaurant in Summerlin is not usually open before 4 p.m., so when chef Gina Marinelli decides to host an occasional brunch, you know it’s going to be special. Dishes like roasted bone marrow, spring lasagna, hamachi crudo, and rack of lamb are on the Easter menu, available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., along with caviar service with gnocco fritto, caramelized shallot, and créme fraiche." - Emmy Kasten
"Chef Gina Marinelli’s Eater Award-winning Italian restaurant in Summerlin, La Strega, brings an ever-changing menu of dishes from across the Boot. Marinelli draws on traditions she learned from her grandparents, who came from Lake Como and Sicily. Complete with a beautiful dining room and lounge, it’s the ideal spot to dine out in Summerlin." - Janna Karel
