Where to start? Impossible. It’s not just about the perfect simbiosis of the Sato team with one of the best front of the house I’ve ever witnessed but it was also Chef Sato with his charm, humility and perfect attention to detail making any dish unique. Wine list superb and yes, the pictures will speak for themselves as La Trace is now on my top 10 best restaurants ever. Thank you both for hosting and looking after us! Merci bien 😍😍😍

We were in Nara for one day, and found La Trace near our hotel. It was a great opportunity to have an experience of a 9 plates menu plus wine pairing. You can see the chief SATO cooking when seated at the counter which we recommend. The food was delicious. The wine highlighted the dishes. The restaurant atmosphere was very cozy and Wakana took such a good care of us. She speaks French perfectly and English as well. If you want to spend 3 hours and learn about their stories, please make a stop at La Trace !

シェフが東京時代に勤めていたお店に行ったことがありました。 あれから10年以上経ちましたが、更にパワーアップしているイメージです。 奈良の食材を意識的に使っています。 自分はわりとフレンチは食べているほうですが、、どの皿も食べる前の予想を超えるものばかりでした。 シェフの繊細さを感じます。 ドリンクはお任せしましたが、ペアリングも無難なものを合わせるのではなく、料理に向き合っている個性のあるお酒をすすめて頂き、美味しかった。

ずっと前から気になっていたお店でディナーで初訪問しました!落ち着いた雰囲気の店内でテンポ良くお料理が運ばれてきます。個人的No.1 はホタテのムースかな😋ムースも美味しかったし、トマトソースも美味でした!また行きたいです!

奈良旅行の際に訪問、地元のお野菜を使った丁寧なお料理をいただきました。五反田のヌキテパを思い出しました。予約制のコースのみ。ワインはお任せマリアージュをいただきましたが、あえて有名どころのAOCではない、こだわりのセレクションが面白いので、いちどお試ししてみては。地元の生産者さんやそのお野菜が買えるファーマーズマーケットのお話や、地元赤膚焼奈良絵の食器、食後のお茶にも、それぞれのこだわりのお話をお聞きでき、道中立ち寄ったり後日取り寄せたりしてみました。
