The 8 Best Naengmyeon Restaurants In LA

"This Korean import serves Ham Heung-style spicy bibim mul naengmyeon featuring sweet potato noodles, but both the spicy and not-spicy versions are great. Though known for the bibim naengmyeon, it’s the mul naengmyeon at this Koreatown spot where you can really focus on the chewy noodles and the depth of the beef broth. Another advantage is the flavorful beef, which is always cooked perfectly here. If you ask and they have it, sometimes you can also get raw skate as a topping instead of beef. An order of spicy galbitang pairs well with the mul naengmyeon, while an order of regular galbitang pairs well with the bibim naengmyeon. Get an order of each with whoever’s lucky enough to join you here and share it all." - dakota kim

Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week | Eater LA

"For a Korean hardcore-dish experience, the jokbal (sliced pig's foot) at this new Koreatown spot is exemplary: a mound of gelatinous, meaty pig's foot that melds juicy steamed meat with pleasantly chewy, seasoned pork skin—dip into fermented shrimp sauce, add raw garlic and jalapeño, and the crunch, umami, fat, and flesh combo is irresistible; the bossam is slightly sweet and extremely tender for tamer palates." - Eater Staff

This is a restaurant specializing in pig's feet, a representative Korean pork dish. This is a dish made by boiling the front and hind legs of a pig with various medicinal ingredients. There is no smell at all and the chewy taste is really good. The service is friendly and the Korean side dishes are delicious. In particular, the Korean style sundae soup is the best menu for the price. There is no specialty restaurant like this in the OC area, so I drove for over an hour to get there, but I can always open my wallet to this restaurant.

I was craving Jok-bal (pig feet) and came across this place for the first time. I ordered the cold Jok-bal, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly, and everything was so clean and well-prepared. The flavors were amazing! This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I’m craving Jok-bal. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Loved the food here! Best bo ssam pork belly I've had. Loved it with the radish. Cabbage was cut a little thick but taste was great. Chive pancake was also a major win. Super crispy and flavorful. Highly recommend checking out this new place!

I had some of the best blood sausage I've ever had here! The pork is moist and flavorful and the buckwheat noodles with perilla are seasoned just right. The level 2 spiciness of the pork was great for us as people who are somewhat good with spiciness. I really enjoyed the side dishes too, especially the shishito pepper soaked in some kind of sweet savory sauce.

Amazing! Highly recommend the jokbal or pork trotters (feet)! Got the lunch combo available from 11-3 i think which is just under $20. I typically don't eat a lot of pork but wow they seasoned it so well, it tasted the best compared to the bossam. Tofu soup was also very delicious with the jokbal! Great banchan. Beef bulgogi was also very good/tasty!! And i normally don't like bulgogi. Parking can be tough. Street or tiny parking lot.

I don't understand the negative reviews, what a bunch of sour Karen's with obviously no taste in authentic good food and portions.(FYI the food photo taken after we started eating it and taken a few pieces, it was present beautifully before this photo and had more) . I went here today with my bf and the food was amazing and authentic as it gets. I've been to Seoul, South Korea myself and I had one of the best foods recommended there and this place is on par with those I've had there. Korean food is one of my favorites and this place does it perfectly. I had the pork soup and bossam to share, the broth was so good and delicious, portions were nice. The kimchi here is truly one of the best kimchi's I've ever had, just perfectly balanced in every way. Honestly, I have had a hard time finding good food here in L.A but on our last day here we are so happy we found this hidden gem.

Found this casual eatery with super yummy Korean dishes I had: 1. Bossam - boiled pork belly with Napa cabbage 2. Gamja Tang - spicy pork short rib soup with potato 3. Banchan

they gave me the wrong order. I ordered the spicy one and they gave me the non spicy one. Be careful of your orders
