Laganini Bar & Restaurant

Laganini in Lincoln Square offers a fantastic dining experience with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pizza Capricciosa was perfectly flavorful, and the shrimp salad was fresh and delicious. The vodka pasta with chicken was creamy and satisfying, and the crepe with Nutella, Plazma, banana, and strawberry was a delightful end to the meal. Exceptional service rounded out our visit, making Laganini a must-visit spot. Highly recommended!

Excellent cocktails, location, and service. We came on a Friday for pre-dinner drinks and sat at the bar. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable. We especially loved the espresso martini and French martinis. We came back on a beautiful weekday evening and sat outside. Lovely view of Lincoln Square, but enough off the street to feel calm. The food was perfect. The cabbage rolls were the closest thing I've found to the sarma my Croatian grandfather used to make. The cabbage salad a light, crisp accompaniment for summer. My husband had the chicken Marsala, which was incredible. Chicken juicy, vegetables plentiful, and the sauce was delightful. We also split the banana/chocolate (Nutella?) crepe, which was far too good.

We ate here with a large group including kids and they were so accommodating and kind. But it was the food that brought me to give this review. The cevapi (ground meat with pita and onions), stuffed cabbage, and salads were absolutely wonderful. If you haven’t tried Balkan food before, this lovely restaurant on Lincoln Square is well worth going outside your comfort zone.

This restaurant strikes the perfect balance between fancy and cozy. The ambiance is trendy yet comfortable, making it ideal for intimate dinners and lively gatherings. Food was cooked to perfection and appetizers were delicious. We were blown away by every single dish we tried. Overall, dining at Laganini was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience.

Really really good. I’m a veg and the Sataras appetizer and veggie pizza was so good. The owner was lovely and we had a great meal with friends.

Great addition to the Square. Got a couple of cocktails, a salad, the spicy feta, and a pizza and everything was delicious and well priced. Looking forward to returning.

I stopped by the former Bourbon Cafe (now Laganini) and enjoyed a good cocktail on the patio. The gentleman serving us is also the owner I believe. Very kind, friendly, and once we started chatting it became clear he's very interested in making this a warm and welcoming spot for all to enjoy. We didn't have food this visit, but will be back soon to try. He recommended the meatballs! As of April 2024, they're running a daily happy hour from 4-6pm (even on Saturdays!) that offers 20% off your bill. Not sure how long that will be offered. Give this new Lincoln Square bar and restaurant some love and business.

I live in the neighborhood and frequent many of the Lincoln Square restaurants and was happy to have another fantastic option! Laganini is lovely! They have outdoor space, an extensive cocktail menu (a delicious aperol spritz), and great happy hour deals. We sat inside because it was hot out and enjoyed a full dinner. The pork tenderloin and bacon dish was delicious and quite a large portion. I also recommend the Shopska Salad (so refreshing) and the meatballs ( they had a good spicy kick to them!). The owner is very kind and is excited to change the image from the previous restaurant in that space. The menu has a nice variety (meats, fish, salads, pizzas, pastas), reasonable prices, and even a kids menu. If you are thinking about giving it a try - the answer is yes!
