We grabbed a couple coffees. The coffee was great. The presentation was good and the atmosphere and the physical location is pretty nice to say the least we will be back.

Their Nutella croissants and iced orange blossoms iced tea were super good! I always get their coffee beans. Spacious and clean interior!

Our first time here and will definitely be coming back! They roast their own beans and the quality of their coffee is amazing. We greatly enjoyed our matcha latte, iced latte and iced americano. Also, wonderful friendly staff and spacious area with a good amount of tables. Our new favorite coffee shop in the area!

Let me start off by saying this barista knocked this oat milk cappuccino out of the park! When I briefly asked her about her experiences of barista, she told me it is not very long although she didn’t identify the exact timeframe. It is clear she can run circles around baristas that have been “in the business for a long time.” The coffee itself taste good. She didn’t over extract the shot and overall based on the coffee, it’s a hit. As for the poorly ran business operation, it’s a one and done experience. Specifically due to the closing procedure of counting the cash 20 minutes before the end of business. Then making it my problem and would not accept my cash. As much as I attempted to make an awkward situation, friendly and positive she insisted that because she counted the cash and the cash was done for the day she would not take any cash. A function that back in my retail management days was not done until the store was closed due to reasons for such. I politely asked how about I just put the cost of the drink the tip and you just work it out on the back later on and we make this fun and easy. No, not a smile nothing just rude and no customer service repetition of can’t accept any cash. After a significant amount of unnecessary friction she reluctantly agreed to accept cash into the tip jar and make the drink. This is a clear indication of poor training. Forcing a customers payment type is blatant disrespect for the customers paying for your products and services. That goes for cashless businesses as well. I will be sure to avoid this place going forward. Funny how not that long ago I this type of employee action would get someone written up or even fired. But now there’s a customer service line for employees and an automated system for customers 😂🤣

What a place! If you want to sit and chat for hours on end this is the place to be! Had a wonderful experience the atmosphere is that of a eastern style cafe! Matcha had no added sugar in the powder. Chai was aromatic and fresh. Food was simple and delicious. Had a problem with one item and they replaced it immediately great service 🫂 This place is easy to go to every day! 🥖☕🍵🫖📖📚💻

Laidrey has a very cozy attmosphere if you are looking to have a delicious coffee and get some work done or reconnect with friends this is the place to go staff is friendly and warm. Also I've never been in a place that smells better. between the roasting coffee and the scent of dried roses wafting in from next door. laidrey is a mini respite from the storm of everyday life. Cuddle up with a pillow and relax

Great new coffee shop and roaster. Nice outdoor seating. Cold brew on tap. Packaged gluten free goodies at the register (no GF pastries that I noticed the two times I was here). A couple designated parking spots out back and plenty of street parking

I was overcharged 0.33$, as the cashier made it my problem that he didn't have change. I also wanted the large latte, but was told that at the table they only serve the regular ceramic cup size latte and the large I can only get to go. I am not a frequent guest there so was in shock and never will go back.

A cute corner coffee shop within walking distance. It's also connected to a book and flower shop that you can walk into and look around. The inside is actually pretty big but the seating is gone quickly on the weekends. There can also be a long line which can be skipped if you order online ahead of time. I enjoy getting the iced honey lavender latte or their seasonal items. For the summer, they have a pistachio rose latte. They also have some small pastries. I do wish they had more options, especially on the savory side. They only have a ham and Gruyère croissant as a savory option. Other than that, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and good vibes.

This is a great location with plenty of seating, but there were some big misses that really need attention. The cashier was super kind and offered great service. After that however, I saw 4-5 baristas constantly chit-chatting instead of working for the line of people ordering and more waiting for their food and drinks. It was 12 minutes from the time I ordered to receiving my drink. Was I in a rush? No. But when you see a staff's blatant disregard to customers, that's when timing becomes an issue. I ordered the Spanish latte and, for $7, I was expecting actual coffee and sweet flavors. All I got was hot milk. No espresso, sweetened condensed milk, or cinnamon, as the menu reads. It was a waste of a drink and bad first impression.

As a coffee lover, I love stopping by to try new coffee shops. Spanish Latte with Oatmilk was amazing; they were friendly and quick. The coffee shop was clean and I loved that they had a book/flower shop inside. Would love to come back when we are back in the city.

I like the various flavors of lattes. I also enjoy the almond croissant and their savory pockets. Takes a while to get one's order even if one orders early. Hard to find parking even for a quick pick up.

Awesome vibes here and great coffee on top of that! Really chill spot to enjoy a cappuccino while getting some work done. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Line moves briskly but get there early because this place gets busy fast and for good reason! Will be making this my new spot.

stopped into laidrey for the first time before a road trip, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of everything here. it's everything you wish your favorite chain coffee shop could be. it is super comfortable with seating and tables, and you walk through their merch tables in the front towards the counter, towards their display of delicious pastries and baked goods. i tried their matcha latte and a plain bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. everything was absolutely perfect, the bagel and cream cheese tasted like you were eating a cloud on top of a cloud, and the latte was tasty. i tried my friends chia protein pudding which is incredible. I have been waiting for a shop close to us and I am so glad Laidrey is here! The baristas are sweet and seem to love what they are doing. They are knowledgeable and ready to answer questions! The environment is gorgeous and spacious which makes moving a stroller around super easy! I also love when I find a coffee shop with a changing table as I am a mama! Unfortunately, they do not have a changing table but I hope this changes!

The beach brew and crossaint combo was perfect. I met a friend here and enjoyed the space a lot. There's a flowershop/library next door to it so that was a cute shop to by after coffee. I will come back.

I love a good coffeehouse and this is a good one. It's spacious and the coffee is absolutely delicious. Also, during my visit, the music was jacked up and the energy was high. You wouldn't think you could study here but I saw plenty of students doing just that. My only knock was the price. I paid $6.60 for a large iced americano. That's steep. Excellent coffee but a bit of a sticker shock. Metered street parking all around.

Love this coffee shop. Lots of seating, great coffee and food options and just a great vibe. I wish they have breakfast burritos everyday but understand why they only have them on weekends. They have a pay it forward board which is such an awesome idea.

Stuck in traffic and needing coffee so declined on the 20 or so Starbucks locations along Ventura and saw Laidrey. Remembered it from an LA Times article. It's really spacious but the seating and tables are cozy. It wasn't very crowded but maybe it's a weekend hangout place. The decor is really excellent and they put time into the design. Coffee was pricey for the size but delicious. Service was fantastic and friendly. I want to try the food because the menu and baked items looked delicious. Seems like a cool Millennial/Gen Z hangout. Hope to return.

Tasty cafe venue near home. The latte could have been warmer, but it had a good flavor. It has a big open nice space, but somehow it feels like they don't have enough sitting.

My favorite coffee shop in the Valley! The ambiance is really nice, and there is lots of seating. However, they are pretty popular for hangouts and computer work, so the tables often get taken by late morning / early afternoon. Their coffees and teas are delicious! They offer food options as well -- I think my favorite was the Monkey Toast. Staff is nice too, and they offer lots of cute merch. The coffee shop is also connected to a lovely, family owned bookstore & flower shop.

This is an excellent coffee shop. TLDR: Come for friendly service, relaxing atmosphere, great coffee, and unique decor. I had been walking by the coffee shop for some time. I finally was able to try it. It's a nice place to go after the gym because it's in walking distance of LA Fitness. As soon as I entered, I noticed all the seating with a couch along the wall and tables and chairs. There are plenty of seats to relax or work. They have a cute little shop with flowers, coffee, clothes, mugs, and stickers. They have bathrooms here as well. It a large open space and I never felt crowded even with a bit of people coming in. The lines get a bit long in the morning but the staff are working hard. For a long line prepare for about a 20 min wait to get the coffee. I am always greeted with a smile and the baristas are patient with explaining the menu or with ordering. They take apple pay as well which is a plus. The menu is straightforward with a variety of coffees at 12oz or 16oz sizes. There are lots of unique lattes like Jasmine or Maple Oat. They offer a variety of milks as well. I love the regular hot latte and the maple oat latte with whole milk. Delicious! The decor is very interesting with cute sayings, pictures and even a large coffee grinding machine! Definitely try this coffee shop and stay to sip and relax!

Some of the girls that work behind the counter are jealous and hateful... the food and drinks are overpriced and when they run out of condiments they don't even give you a replacement they just don't give you anything at all so now you're stuck with a dry sandwich.

I ordered through doordash and they didn't even seal my drink. I also got a matcha and it taste like milk.

Ver cute and relaxing place. The service is good but could've been better. The wait time was really long. The girls were friendly and very nice, but honestly some of them could've been more quick... maybe by the time no worries. I tried the Almond croissant with red velvet latte. Honestly the croissant was very delicious and the almond cream was very good. The coffee was ok, I did not taste any flavour of red velvet unfortunately. Overall good experience and really nice, clean place

Street parking Dine inside or outside Fresh quality coffee and baked goods I got the maple oat since the barista recommended it to me, it was pretty good. You can really taste the high quality beans they use for their coffee! I also got a croissant and it was so fresh, flakey outside and soft inside, just perfect ! Also wanna mention the inside was absolutely stunning, lots of tables

My cousin and I came here to work. We came around 9am, and it was somewhat busy. Parking: There were only 2 available at the back, but I think it's for the workers. However, we did find a parking structure right across from it, and we were able to park there. Due to us coming in early, we were able to take a table and chairs, but if you're coming later, it may not be a guarantee. I ordered a mocha latte (it was decent, but not the best), so I'm not sure if I recommend the drinks. However, I really enjoyed the De-Lox toast and the pistachio and almond croissant. They were super delicious! 10/10. Overall, I'd come back here for the food and for the vibes/ambiance.

This is such a cute spot! There is street parking and some parking in the back. We came here on a double breakfast date with our friends and their baby. There were tons of tables inside. We even had a celeb sighting (Wilmer Valderama). We all really enjoyed our coffees and breakfasts (avocado toast was so good!). We will definitely be back.

I love Laidrey as a local, woman-owned roaster. They have quickly become the go-to for freshly roasted beans in the valley. They do favor a darker roast than many specialty coffee shops. I like the Colombian medium roast Leo. The drinks have always been a bit of a let down. For starters, I'm mostly an iced coffee girl, and I can't get behind iced drinks in paper cups. (Blue Bottle does the same thing.) The iced latte is a better move than the cold brew, which I found watery. The cafe space is clean and spacious, but I prefer the coziness of Laidrey's second location further east on Ventura Blvd. Don't miss the RKTs if you manage to get one before they sell out, and snap a selfie outside in front of their gorgeous mural.

Love the Ella Fitzgerald style jazz music background, very light and bright. Definitely an urban hipster feel. Food a bit expensive at $16 to $18 for their toasts, $7 range for croissants. Wide variety of lattes and specialty drinks from $6-7.50. Fast service but we got to go cups so can't appreciate visuals. Orange latte was excellent!! Right next door to a newly opened flower/home decor/bookstore--absolutely the cutest!!!

Laidrey is cute and unassuming on the corner from Tarzana Armenian Deli. Their seasonal flavors are delicious and cute, and the maple oat latte is a unique flavor. The staff are super nice and there is plenty of seating. You know this is a go to for lots of folks in the area because people look right at home chilling with pets and friends. A reliable option and cute coffee shop for a date or pre/post brunch place that's not just a starbucks equivalent in the valley.

Bright, clean, modern, airy shop where they roast their beans on the spot. Didn't hear our name called for our drinks so they sat for a while. Staff seems unconcerned about making a friendly effort - which speaks to the whole 'too cool for school' vibe permeating this place. But the coffee was excellent, just about as good as it gets. Lots of window-seating and warm light.

Best cortado in the city. Nice selection of beans roasted on-site for brewing at home. Super friendly baristas.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. And it was still full! There is no line to enter and almost no line to order (there was one person ordering ahead of me). If there was music playing, I didn't notice it. Everyone was either conversing with whoever they came with or were working - perfect! Iced Latte was strong. Retail section was cute and well curated. Roasting activities going on towards the back and it was awesome to watch.

Parking: in the side of Laidrey, there are about 3 parking spots which are usually taken. Thus, there is metered street parking in the front or free parking in the residential area which are both easy to find Orders: I've ordered the maple oat latte and the sweet cream cold brew which both were good. It wasn't as delicious as I had hope for, thus the four stars and the fact that they have little to no bakery everything I've visited. I've visited in the early morning and mid afternoon as well. I really do want to try their croissants, so I hope that it will be available eventually. If you do choose to dine inside, they will provide their own cups for you to sip out of. If you decide to to-go, they will provide disposable cups for you. There is also coffee condiments to the side if you choose to sweeter up your drink. Notes: If you're looking for a place to hang out with your friends, I would suggest this area as there are plenty of seating. If you do choose to study/work here, there is free wifi. However, the seatings are unpleasant to sit on for more than an hour. I recommend sitting at the tables near the bathroom as there is enough space for you to sit comfortable and not have your back arched in pain unlike tables on the side of the restaurant. Those tables are low and will cause you back pain, this is coming from an averagely short person. There is also seating outside at the restaurant if there aren't any inside.

Met a friend here for coffee and enjoyed it! My friend got coffee and he said it was good. I can't drink caffeine so I just got blueberry tea. When I went, all of their teas were fruity flavored or had caffeine rather than being herbal which was unfortunate to have such limited options. I know it's a coffee shop and they specialize in coffee but it would be nice to have more tea options too, and shouldn't be too difficult given it's just a tea bag. The staff are nice, but they are very busy so when you go you might have to wait for them to be ready to take your order. The atmosphere is nice. Plenty of street parking.

I've been meaning to leave a review for this place. One of my favorite coffee shops for studying in the valley, it's big and spacious with a great environment. There's only two big tables in the back, and small 2 people seating elsewhere. Would love some larger more convenient tables and more outlets. Today I got an iced matcha latte, so delicious and smooth! Next time I'll ask for honey as there's no sweetness in it but it was still very good

Imagine a fall day in a cute relaxing coffee place full of esthetics? This is it. But it is not all about their decor and esthetics this coffee place has one of the most fresh coffee. An spacious beautiful place to not only enjoy w friends but also just to study. Their costumer service was top notch!! The baristas here immediately greet you and make you feel welcomed! Lets talk about TASTE: omg amazing a beautiful blend in that Latte! Deliciousness!!!

So I didn't get a coffee. I got the ginger turmeric latte with oat milk. It was good! The ginger flavor was more in the background and the turmeric flavor was super strong. Idk if I would get it again, would def want to try something new. The vibes there were great. I came with my computer and worked for about an hour or so. The employees were super nice. Loved the inside. Will def be back though!

Laidrey came up when I was searching for a place to grab coffee, listed as one of the essential coffee shops in Los Angeles to visit. A bright, large café with plenty of indoor seating (and some tables outside), Laidrey definitely lived up to the hype. I chose a maple oat latte and morning bun to kick off Super Bowl Sunday 2023. They roast their own coffee here, so there is a spot along one wall with the roaster. The place was bustling with customers, but the staff was efficient and friendly. I loved my latte since I normally order oat milk and the maple flavor was not too sweet. I'll be back.

Omg their toasts and croissants are to die for!! Definitely recommend having it at least once a week!! So scrumptious and very Instagram-worthy The service is quick -- the baristas are very friendly and they make sure you're happy with your orders. They also have many seasonal drinks that you can't find anywhere else; IG-moment right here! The ambiance is unmatched -- you can't find a coffee shop that roasts their coffee beans on-site anywhere in the valley (at least not to my knowledge!) so this place is very unique. The smell of the coffee beans roasting in the shop + the cozy ambiance + maintained cleanliness = happy me! Kinda reminds me of Starbucks Reserve in Seattle. What else can you really ask for? Great for hanging out with friends and family and people watch. This coffee shop also feels quite upscale but not in a pretentious way, just the way my friends & I like it! Free street parking alongside the shop and many metered street parking around the area as well -- I never had any issues with parking!

Had to come back for more coffee! Laidrey is a vibe. High quality coffee. Their coffee is top notch - can tasty earthiness and nutty flavor in an every cup. Plenty of open seating inside. Service was fantastic! Definitely recommend Laidrey!

Ordered some beans. Never tried them before. It was THE WEIRDEST TASTE! Had to throw it away. Folgers is better. The beans came quickly. Taste before you buy!

A nice place...for the valley. This cafe reminds me of those in North Hollywood; it has a great open space for you to sip and work on your laptop. Pros: the overall (open) space and vibe; it's casual, trendy, and chill. It's much better than your Starbucks/Peet's. There aren't other cafes in the area that compete with it (other than Crave and maybe Coral Tree). Cons: the cost, mostly. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a small drip coffee and it came to $19. Insane and not worth it. Although the burrito was good and decently portioned, the coffee was terrible; it tasted like mud water. Do not order the drip coffee. For a cafe to charge that amount (for two items), it might be better to go to a sit down place for the same price (and more food + service). Speaking of service, it was okay. Overall, this place has a nice vibe and it's good alternative to a Starbucks. Yes the price is high and unreasonable but, I'd recommend just coming here for tea (or some latte), and your laptop. 3/5

Cute delicious local coffee tea snack spot. Can be very busy and noisy. Easy street or back parking. Cute interior design. They do have outside tables on the side street.

Clean, spacious, and calm ambiance. Design of the space is perfect for spending time for self care or friends. Gets a little noisy when the roaster is on but that is to be expected and part of the charm. Coffee is quality and sweet treats are yum!

This has quickly become me and my partners go to coffee place. They are always so kind and welcoming. The vibes are just right and as someone who spent years in artisan coffee the quality they use is the best in the area for beans, flavors and milks. Biggest bonus they are always so excepting and loving to our service animals

I picked up a box using "too good to go" and I was very impressed. I forgot to take a picture but the quality of the pastries were great. The taste of the blueberry muffin was delicious. I will definitely be back for some coffee and freshly baked pastries.

Cute, trendy coffee shop with an airy feel inside and incredible coffee aroma wafting through the air. Having said that, I am not a coffee enthusiast although I do love the aroma of coffee being made. Continuing my quest for the best chai latte/tea I checked out the posted menu and sure enough, there it was. Ordered a chai latte at $5.75 with oat milk and as I waited, I checked out this new place. Loved seeing the coffee beans being roasted on the other side of the store as there's an amazing open vibe inside. A few tables are present, nicely spaced apart. Outside seating is also available. The lady taking my order was very sweet as were the folks working behind the counter. My latte arrived and it was delicious, with just the right amount of spices. However, it was warm, not hot. I suppose that's good so as to avoid an instant tongue burn, although, I do prefer my chai on the hotter side.

Service is always great. Delicious, not too sweet mochas. I have enjoyed their Monkey Toast, the Italian French, Avo Toast, and breakfast tacos. All so yummy!

I'm always checking out new coffee shops whenever I'm in the Valley. Laidrey looked promising on Yelp so I ordered online for pickup. Ambiance and customer service were A+. I ordered the 16 oz. hot honey latte and avo toast. Latte was quite good. I appreciated the fact that latte was not ridiculously hot where I burn my tongue on initial sip. Temp was just right! Unfortunately, I can't say the same for food. I was NOT impressed with the avo toast because I could barely taste the extremely thin layer of mashed avo. There were A LOT of pickled onions, sliced radish, and feta cheese, so that's basically all I tasted. Picture on the menu had same ingredients, but the ratio of ingredients was definitely not the same IRL. Sadly, I did not enjoy the avo toast.

Finally got the chance to stop by this coffee shop I've driven by for years. I met a gf here to play catch up and was really excited to try it. This what my experience here... My friend and I waited about 5 minutes in the front of the line waiting to order. There was 3 people working and no one said "we will be right with you". I saw a little computer type device so I thought maybe it's a self ordering place so I asked one of the girls if we order ourselves. She said no. She finally took our order. It would have been nice to be acknowledged standing in the front of the line waiting. Once they took our order they were very friendly which was nice. I ordered a green tea matcha latte and the taste was great but it was NOT hot. It was lukewarm. I didn't want to complain so I just drank it. Their toast with toppings is really delicious. It's a cool place to come and do work, catch up with a friend and have a nice cup of tea or coffee. The ambiance is great. Looking forward to trying this place again. : )

Nice interior. But the fresh bakery items aren't so fresh. And don't ask for them to change or remove any of the ingredients in their breakfast burritos. They're premade.
