Came to this place to try Indian food and can't stop thinking about it since then. Everything tastes amazing. We tried their Chicken Tikka Masala, Shrimp Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Coconut Curry Chicken, and Lamb Vindaloo. We asked for medium spiciness but I think we could go higher. I asked for the spicy sauce on the side and everything tasted just better after adding their hot sauce. The interior is nice, clean, and cozy. The staff was super nice and friendly. And a big shoutout to our waiter Abo! He was amazing. He also brought some complimentary appetizers with dips which were to die for! We'll definitely be back soon!

Ordered from here many times for delivery, finally had the chance to dine in the restaurant in person. Amazing experience! The restaurant is very classy and the service was next level - Abu was our server and he and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience! Our drinks never went empty, we had multiple table touches through dinner, and the food was so delicious and fresh. Would absolutely recommend!! Thank you!

Me and my friend loved this place. We got the coconut shrimp which were magical. Flavorful, crunchy, and juicy. Then we got mango lassi which were a little sweet for my taste but rocked. Chana masala which was rich and yummy and tomato-y and malai kufta which was buttery and great. The rice pudding is exactly what you want! Our waiter Abu was very attentive and kind and because it was our first time, we got the mango lassi for free. The music was also a great addition to the atmosphere. not too loud or soft. thank you!!!

What a total find! Never thought there would be such excellent Indian food in the valley. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted warmly by Abu, who seats you in one of their comfortable, spacious booths. And then it's feast after feast of food fit for kings topped with the best mango lassi. Can't wait to become a repeat customer

It was my first time trying Indian food so my husband wanted to take me somewhere that was authentic, tasty and clean so he brought me here and I’m so happy he did. It’s a hidden gem, the music, the art and food make it a beautiful experience. Would definitely come back as I see myself craving this every week. Great date spot too!

I’ve been coming here for years. Best Indian food I’ve had in LA county. Since moving to the east coast, I try to come back each time for a visit. The prices cannot be beat and the staff are caring and professional. If you want an indoor (or takeout) Indian spot, let this one be it. You won’t find another like it! We ordered the vegetarian dinner for 2 which is $48. Comes with a soup, two entrees, and dessert. We wanted a few extra items as everything is so good. Pictured is the Mango lassi, rice pudding flavored with a wonderful cardamon spice, and the gulab jamun, which are similar to tiny donut holes soaked in a sugary syrup and a little warm inside.

I’ve been coming here for years with my family, it’s our favorite Indian restaurant in LA for good reason. We always know we will have a top notch experience here. The food is incredibly flavorful and yummy, and the service couldn’t be nicer. Each staff member goes above and beyond to welcome guests and provide recommendations. Sometimes they even let us try bonus dishes on the house, so kind!! We will continue to come back!

First time coming to this hidden gem. The vibes are immaculate and the service is 100/100. Abu helped us and was very sweet. I will be definitely coming back! If you live in Studio City, this is a must to go and try.

Hands down the best Indian food ever. My husband and I don't think twice about coming here whenever that craving hits. There's easy street meter parking or a small lot behind the restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Abu is the best and most attentive. I get the Chicken Tika -Hot, and my husband loves the Chicken Makhni - Hot. Both of them are deliciously spicy, not unbearable, but definitely feel the savory heat. We also recommend the CHICKEN SOMOSA hands down can't miss out on those. Make sure you also try the CHEESE NAN. Everything is to die for. 10/10 recommend.

Great ambience, great restaurant, wonderful service. Amazing food what more could you want? I feel that the prices were very reasonable and we were able to feed a family of four with leftovers to take home for about 80 bucks and that included the delicious mango lassi and milk chai! We started off with the chicken samosas which were packed with chicken and deliciousness, and came with the red and green mint chutney. We ordered the paneer masala, chicken vindaloo, and the lamb biryani! All full of flavor. We got medium spicy and we do like and eat spicy food and so this was a good level for us. We then finished off the dinner with some of their pistachio ice cream, which was amazing and in the pictures we posted you can see the delicious mango ice cream, rice pudding and the golub. Everything tastes fresh. Everything has rich (and what I believe to be) authentic flavors. If you order something you like from here once, you can order it again and again, weeks or months later, and it will still be just as good or better. Some of our favorites: Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Vindaloo, and Lamb Jalfrezi. We've also enjoyed their Chicken Korma, Saag, and a variety of other dishes. You really can't go wrong!

Abu, our server, was extremely attentive and accommodating. His level of service and friendliness made us feel comfortable and welcomed. My partner and I went for the best seller - Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan bread and Mixed Tandori. Food was served piping hot and in a timely manner. Abu went above and beyond with his service by refilling our beverages on a consistent basis. Further, he made sure our experience was enjoyable by asking for our feedback. Still great as always! Fulfilled our craving for good Indian, which no other place comes close. They have redecorated and it looks great! Service is always spectacular and today Abu was great!

The food never fails even when trying new dishes. Today I went with something all new Chicken Coconut Curry and boy did that plate meet the 10/10 plate score. I will add I went with a mild heat level today. The service provided is always outstanding thank you Abu.

We visited for dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday. Luckily, we had Abu as our waiter. He was friendly and attentive. The food dishes were delicious. The restaurant was also very clean. Many thanks to Abu for making my friend feel more special on her birthday.

3 minute drive from Sheraton Universal. We did an early dinner here instead of inside the theme park and were very glad we did. Amazing food and excellent service. Abu was extremely attentive and helped us pick the right spice levels for or family. So so good.

This is the best Indian restaurant in the valley. They just had a complete remodel all the interior, booths, bathrooms everything looks great but the star of the show here is the food and service. The food here is amazing, fresh, flavorful as always consistency. Today we tried the chicken biryani and it was so amazing! Love their chicken tandoori, love all their masala's. Amazing samosas. Amazing quality food and super tasty. Abu who works here is an amazing human, always remembers his customers, always treats them like family and so attentive and kind. If you are looking for Indian food this is the place to eat.

What sets this restaurant apart from a lot of others is the excellent service. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had to wait for a table, but we didn't have to wait very long. The restaurant was lively but not too loud. The food was delicious and had fairly large portions. We particularly enjoyed the garlic naan. There is mostly street parking.

Lal Mirch is my favorite Indian restaurant in LA. Their food and service somehow gets better and better every time. They have recently done some remodeling to the place and it looks great. Everything we ordered was so delicious and fresh. We tried the chicken biryani for the first time and it was so so good. Will definitely start ordering that every time now. They have the best garlic naan and butter chicken. Their chicken tandoori is the absolute best. Abu and everyone here always give the best service and they are so welcoming. It's also great for large parties!

This place is amazing and Abu our server is always smiling and happy to serve us. He's super attentive and takes care of us Always!!! My Aunt brought me here for my first time. I told her I wanted good Indian food and she did not disappoint. Everything here was amazing. Best butter chicken I've had in so long it's exactly what I wanted. Abu ( our server ) was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The environment was warm, inviting, and comfortable. I will be coming back and look forward to seeing our server Abu again. ( servers never get enough credit ).

I love this place! This is my go to Indian restaurant in my neighborhood when I'm feeling homesick. The food is tasty, the ambiance is cozy (great music) and service is always lovely (Abu is my favorite here! Always so welcoming). Highly recommend :)

Every time me and my family come here it feels like we are being treated like family. We have come here for the past 8 or so years and it is our favorite place to meet up. The service is above and beyond every single time they never miss. The food is always so fresh and I would recommend the garlic naan it is the best in the world.

We came back again to get our fix! It is delicious as always! This time we came in on a Friday rather than valentine's day. So we were able to do reservations and it worked out great because we were starving! Abu and our other server who I didn't get the name of treated us to delicious treats and made us feel so special!

I realize now that I was put on this earth to eat Lal Mirch. I heard such good things about the restaurant and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is very cozy, perfect for a meal with friends, date night, with family or even by yourself you name it. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was somehow even better. Everyone helping us was so nice and Abu our waiter was amazing! He has the best energy and was so helpful. I cant wait to go back.

The service, the food! Exceptional! We got the mulligatawny soup, the chicken Mirchi, mango masala, Aloo Gobi and of course garlic naan. All so delicious. I love the pickle in the Chicken Mirchi. Our server/host was on top of everything. So difficult to find food service. This was great!!

As an Englishwoman, where curry holds the title of our national dish, I was both curious and excited to see how La Mirch in LA would compare. I am thrilled to say it did not just meet, but exceeded my expectations! The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The menu was impressively diverse, offering a variety of traditional dishes with authentic flavours. Each dish we ordered was beautifully presented and packed with taste. The spices were expertly balanced, highlighting each ingredient without overwhelming the palate. The standout dish for me was the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced--rivaling some of the best I've had back home. The naan bread, fresh from the tandoor, was the perfect companion to the curry, soft and slightly charred. The staff at La Mirch were friendly and attentive and the service excellent service. You don't know how happy I was to find this restaurant (I've gone back twice already)! I left La Mirch deeply satisfied and pleasantly surprised by how good the food was--a rare find outside of the UK that I would highly recommend to both expats and locals alike.

First time coming in physically - my wife and I order from here some times - and its even better in person!!!! The food is sooooo good as always, and the restaurant has a great vibe and a mid size interior. The real highlight was Abu's unreal service helping us decide how much to order and being spot on with all our food choices!!! He took such good care of us and made our group of 4 have a great dining experience as we enjoyed good company and great food!

I've just returned home from my first dinner experience at Lal Mirch. We dined at 8:30pm on a Wednesday evening, and the restaurant was quite busy, which we took as a great sign. The food, service, and ambiance were all 10/10. Abu took excellent care of us and was warm and friendly. We ordered the House Dinner for two, and each dish was prepared with the utmost attention to balance of flavors. In a city with endless choices for Indian cuisine, Lal Mirch truly stands out. Give it a try, you will be glad you did.

Amazing deal for the price. We were so stuffed and couldn't finish. Chicken tandoori was sizzling came out steaming and crispy. Was my favorite. Garlic naan was so soft and delicious. Chicken tikka masala was a bit sweet but delicious. Rice was perfect and seasoned well. Mango lassi was the best I've ever had was very thick and milky/ filling. We were looking for Indian food and couldn't help but notice this place had awesome reviews. It definitely did not disappoint! Abu our waiter knew it was our first time and took care of us. We got the House Dinner for two which was $55 so we could try everything. I like how they have "dinner for two" options because you get more bang for your buck trying more dishes than a la carte. - Mango Lassi was the best I've ever had, Black Tea was great - Sides are vegetable soup, rice, naan, raitha. The garlic naan was amazing. We also ordered vegetable samosas. - Tandoori Chicken: came on a sizzling skillet, also one of the best I've had - Chicken Tikka Masala: a bit on the sweet side for me but still good - Sagh Aloo: felt the spice in this dish! - Dessert rice pudding and gulab jamon We will definitely be coming back!

Definitely my all time favourite Indian in LA! Service is always impeccable, restaurant is always clean! Abu remembered us from a year ago which is crazy!! We definitely need to come here more often. I always get the mango chicken curry it's my fav. Always very hot and delicious. If you get mild it's barely spicy FYI! Butter chicken is always very creamy and has the exact amount of flavour you look for in a butter chicken. GET ALL THE NAAN BREAD. Every single one is delicious and fresh. Onion one is ALMOST as good as garlic naan. Vegetable samosas are my all time fav. YOU HAVE TO GET THEM. Anyway can't wait to come back we've decided this will now be a monthly meal for us :) Thankyou!

Fantastic restaurant! And even better service! We visited on a Friday evening and the restaurant got busy quickly. Well decorated with plenty of seating. All of the staff were very attentive, especially our server Abu. I can't say enough great things about him - he truly made our visit exceptional. We ordered the house dinner for two which was more than enough food for me and my husband. It came with tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, aloo saag, naan, and rice. Afterwards we enjoyed their refreshing kulfi for dessert. Everything was delicious and very authentic. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town! Tip: There is only a small parking lot and limited paid street parking in front of the restaurant, so account for that when planning your visit.
