Having been away from Hawaii for over a year, I was excited to hear that L&L was opening up in Manhattan. I was finally able to get a taste of home away from home. From the moment I walked in, I was already greeted with aloha from the employees. This time around, I had to get my usual BBQ Chicken with mac salad and rice. The service was quick and the food tasted ‘ono (delicious). The plate itself costed a little more than back home but the quality was just as great. What also made the experience wonderful was seeing all the local photos and listening to local music from back home. Whenever you’re in the city and craving a taste of Hawaii, definitely check out L&L!

So delish! Super happy to see this Hawaiian chain make it to nyc. Food is authentic and the portions are generous! Everything on the menu looks so good it’s hard to make a decision, definitely will be coming back again to try out different dishes.

I visited on opening day, and while the wait for food was long, it was understandable given how busy they were. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience enjoyable. I tried the BBQ short rib plate, and while the flavors were great, I did feel the portion size could have been a bit larger. I will definitely be returning soon and I am looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow!

Just tried the new L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, and it was amazing! I got the Kalua Pork with Cabbage, and it was so flavorful and tender! The portions were generous. Great food, friendly vibes—I’ll definitely go back!!

As someone from California, I missed L&L SO MUCH. I had the loco moco and crispy garlic shrimp at the LES location—BOMB AF. I’m so happy with how good the loco moco was; it was even better than I remembered. I had some leftovers, so I heated them up the next day for lunch, and it was the best flavor bomb in my mouth! I’ll definitely be going back!

Ordered delivery via Grubhub and got the BBQ mix plate with spam musubi. The BBQ mix came with short ribs, beef and chicken along with two scoops of white rice and mac salad. I thought it was delicious. The meats were a bit too salty for my taste but it balanced well with the rice and mac salad. The spam musubi is the best I’ve had so far. The rice and spam was sandwiched between some sauce that enhanced the flavor. I’d like to try the loco moco next time!

First time buying food from L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Was greeted with a friendly “Aloha” as you enter the restaurant. My order was Chicken Katsu plate , my friends was BBQ Beef The taste was Phenomenal . I highly recommend this hidden new gem in NYC
