"Tucked away in a presbytery converted into a charming hotel, this delightful cosy restaurant serves delicious contemporary cuisine that is aligned with the seasons: cep cream and Ardèche chestnut chunks; meunière-style sturgeon fillet, matelote sauce. The chef's modern cuisine is simple and well executed." - Michelin Inspector

"Headed by a chef whose enthusiasm is contagious, this place is an ode to the seasons. Dishes are crafted from market-fresh ingredients and the menu changes regularly: wafer-thin tart of rock crab meat, avocado and green apple; roast duckling with stuffed thighs and mushroom and shallot duxelles. Fresh ingredients, recipes made from scratch, regional wines: a restaurant that cannot fail but win you over." - Michelin Inspector

Just landed after a red eye from Miami, now in Montpelier. Springtime in France! This place is amazing, exactly what I wanted for my first meal back in the land of awesomeness. The asparagus starter was exquisite, really unbelievable series of flavors using asparagus as a base. Duck and fish dishes were also great as well as the deconstructed cheese cake and cheese platter, select 4 of your favorites from a huge cheese board selection!

Very old school French cooking. The photos on Google looked good but some of them were years old and the food has changed a lot since then. I didn't love it, and don't think I would return.

Went last weekend for a lunch. Lovely place with excellent food. The cook is in control of the flavours and he uses them very well. We had tomato gazpacho with crab and avocado - nice and fresh. Nice well cooked Lotte with a tasty bisque. The excellent starter made me forgot to take a picture of the main. The peach/basil/pistachio based dessert ... a dish from heaven. Congrats to who have made that one!

We’ve been here several times and each time we can’t wait to get back. We had a fabulous lunch which just confirmed that this is one of the best restaurants in Montpellier.

We had been recommended this small restaurant and it did not disappoint - quite the opposite! It is more expensive than many of the restaurants around, but there is a good reason for that: the menu is small, but full of dishes that are very different to your average restaurant, and the quality of the food that arrived was absolutely first class - makes you wonder why it doesn’t have a Michelin star. I especially liked the starter of prawn and Guinea fowl in a lobster bisque: may sound odd (and that simplistic description does not do it justice), but it really worked. They also have an extensive wine list with something for everyone from all over France, with plenty of local wines. The service was friendly, helpful, and relaxed, and the atmosphere convivial to taking time to enjoy the meal at your own pace, with tables with more space around them than you normally find even in some of the better restaurants around. In summary, fantastic: best meal we have had in a long time.

Yelp
True, historical landmark in the restaurant landscape of Montpellier, this restaurant is really good. In a small street off one of the main squares in the city, it is quiet and elegant, yet completely central. In a very classy setting, the taste is also present, and each dish is enjoyable. The wine selection is also quite nice. Recommended for sure!
