"We first became obsessed with La Sorted’s brick-oven pizza as a pop-up. These days, you’ll find them at a takeout window in Silver Lake. Maybe it’s the brick-and-mortar digs, or the power that comes with being so close to Dodger Stadium, but this iteration of La Sorted's has earned a place in the LA pizza pantheon as well as our stomachs. The crust is chewy and bubbly, and toppings range from burrata to artichoke pesto to vodka cream sauce. Our top pick is the “Spicy, But Oh, So Sweet Boy,” a version of the now-ubiquitous pepperoni and hot honey combo set off with Fresno chiles and fresh garlic." - sylvio martins, brant cox, cathy park
"Located next to Cafe Triste on Broadway, LaSorted’s serves excellent pizza in a fun, kitschy dining room decked out with wood furniture, TVs everywhere, and enough Dodgers memorabilia to launch a museum. It’s not a sports bar per se, but if you want to watch sports with friends or slam some bubble-crusted, sourdough-ish pies and a beer before hitting Dodger Stadium, this place should be at the top of your list. The menu is slightly smaller than the original takeout window in Silver Lake, but you’ll find all the heavy hitters like the Spicy But Oh So Sweet Boy with pepperoni and hot honey, plus a Chinatown-only beef hot dog squiggled with Philippe’s mustard." - sylvio martins, brant cox, cathy park
"Late afternoons at Dodger Stadium are summertime canon, but they also involve sunburns, wildly overpriced food, and an unfathomable parking situation. Catching the game at LaSorted’s Chinatown, however, is all upside. This throwback pizza parlor has elite pies by the slice, crispy wings, cold beer, and a bleed-blue crowd that’s invested in every Shohei at-bat—if the treasure trove of Dodger memorabilia covering the walls didn't already tip you off." - brant cox, cathy park, sylvio martins, jess basser sanders
"LaSorted’s has two locations: the original takeout window in Silver Lake and one in Chinatown. You’ll find the same chewy, sourdough-ish pizza at each, but we like Chinatown for the simple fact there’s a dining room decked out with TVs, wooden tables, and enough Dodgers memorabilia to launch a museum. (If the name didn’t give it away, this place is run by a third-generation Dodgers fan). Most importantly, it’s here in Chinatown where you can sit and eat their fantastic, bubbly-crusted, just-thin-enough pies immediately. Our top pick is the “Spicy, But Oh, So Sweet Boy,” a version of the now-ubiquitous pepperoni and hot honey combo set off with fresh chiles and garlic." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park
"LaSorted’s started as a porch pop-up before moving into a Ford Econoline, and then into a storefront on Sunset Boulevard. On the menu, find “LA style” pizza, available by the slice or a full pie, plus sandwiches, salads, and more. Consider the Long Ball, a meatball hoagie big enough to quell any lunch hunger or the mortadella-stuffed focaccia sandwich. In addition to thin-crust pies, the pizza menu also offers Sicilian square slices." - Rebecca Roland
