Houston's Restaurant & Bar Openings - Houston - The Infatuation

"The chef behind Midtown seafood spot Reef is back with Latuli in Memorial. The space channels a vintage Texas ranch, with details like a host stand carved from a tree root. The menu pulls from Gulf waters and Texas farmland, serving snapper tiradito and Wagyu barbacoa alongside familiar favorites like Reef’s smoked pork chop. And because it’s a family-friendly neighborhood, there’s also a kids menu featuring Gulf fish sticks and Texas toast grilled cheese." - brooke viggiano, gianni greene, chelsea thomas

Great experience dining, the valet was fully booked, very happening crowd, was excited tp see menu. The steak was okay, it actually tasted better the next day, it was the flat iron with mushrooms, nice flavor. What I really loved was the Marrow Fries, do yourself a favor and get these. The dip of pimento was interesting, I would get the snapper or other seafood next time. Bathrooms had waterworks fixtures in brass with lagoon tile, really pretty.

Finally got to come to this new Houston Hot restaurant! I was greeted very politely by the hostess on a Thursday evening with no reservation and was able to get a table immediately on the patio. Heysee was my server and was excellent! Top notch customer service - she provided me with great recommendations, both food and drink, and was very knowledgeable on all of the offerings. I started with a half dozen of the oysters which were Gulf, but the good kind from 100 miles of shore! Great size and flavor. For my entree, I had the Grilled Flat Iron, cooked rare of course! It came out absolutely perfect. Very flavorful with a nice outside crust and cool pink interior! The bed of arugula and mushrooms was super good as well. I could eat an entire bowl of those mushrooms. The manager Jordan also came out to check on me and had great conversation. That’s always appreciated! When I arrived, they just began dinner service and there were too many people at the time, and by the time I left, it was hopping! Great energy throughout the restaurant. The aesthetic is very clean and luxury, yet very comfortable. The patio was very relaxing and had great ambiance with the decor and lighting! Also, other servers that weren’t even assigned to me still came by and asked if everything was going well. The bartenders Ernesto and Elmo’s were great too! The entire staff was very attentive and kind my entire visit. Overall incredible experience and I left with a satisfied and full belly! Will be returning asap. 🙏🏽

First off, the ambiance is beautiful—I’d love to have a patio like that in my own backyard. We went for a late lunch, so it wasn’t too busy, which made for a relaxing experience. The cocktail list has a great mix of house specialties and classics. I ordered a mezcal-based cocktail that was perfectly balanced, with a simple yet elegant garnish. For appetizers, we tried the oysters and the watermelon salad. I was hesitant about the watermelon since it’s not in season, but it turned out to be delicious—light and refreshing with olive oil, flake salt, and goat cheese. The oyster dish was also a standout. For our mains, we had the chicken and hummus, which was tasty but came with a very small portion of pita—adding another strip or two per guest would make it perfect. We also tried the wild boar ragu, which was good but could’ve used a touch more seasoning, maybe some fresh Parmesan, salt, and red pepper flakes to bring it to life. Overall, I’d definitely say it’s worth a visit. The only downside was the hostess, who seemed distracted and unwelcoming when we arrived—she was on her phone and didn’t greet us with a smile. As the first impression of the restaurant, that’s an easy area for improvement.

First time to this establishment. Let's all get the word out because it's a gorgeous venue, with exceptional service and food. We were greeted quickly by our server, Iris. She was so welcoming, informative and when we mentioned we were cold, she brought us a shawl!!! There were four of us and we decided to share several items. The snapper carpaccio was incredible. So light but very flavor forward. My other favorites of the meal were the shaved brussel sprout salad and XL meatball. We finished with the pana cotta. Super creamy and the perfect amount of sweet. We will definitely be back and will take recommendations from Iris for when we return!

We had an incredible experience at Latuli, thanks to Alexis! She was absolutely outstanding from start to finish — knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Alexis took the time to walk us through each section, explaining ingredients and preparation in detail, and her recommendations were spot-on. Every dish she suggested was delicious and perfectly suited to our tastes. It’s rare to come across someone so skilled and attentive — she truly elevated the entire dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for Alexis again!

Such a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and pleasant staff members! Our server Iris was amazing and gave us great suggestions for this time and next! They also have complimentary valet which is so nice! Will definitely be back

Food was Spectacular, service was amazing and ambiance was phenomenal. I recommend this place, try their salads, pastas and entrees. Tomato salad, Brussels salad, Cob Salad (Lunch only) Fettuccine al funghi, Spaghetti Cacio e pepe, Orechiette with sausage. Pork chop, wagyu Barbacoa!

Dining at Latuli was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between upscale elegance and warm Southern charm. The space is beautifully designed—inviting yet refined, with thoughtful details that make you feel instantly at home. We kicked off our evening with the Meatball XL, a rich and satisfying starter. Stuffed with Fontina cheese and parmesan, it was a comforting burst of flavor. The meatball was perfectly seared, and the gooey cheese center added a luxurious touch that set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, I chose the Seared Snapper, and it was a revelation. The fish was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside. The accompaniments of sweet & sour Swiss chard, onion soubise, and tomato brown butter created a symphony of flavors that elevated the dish to something truly memorable. Each bite was balanced, vibrant, and deeply satisfying. My guest had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, and I couldn’t resist trying a forkful. It was packed with sweet, succulent crab meat and paired beautifully with pickled runner beans and a punchy sorghum hot mustard that added just the right amount of heat and tang. It was easily one of the best crab cakes either of us had tasted. We shared a side of House French Fries with roasted garlic aioli, which were crispy, golden, and addictive. The aioli was creamy and flavorful, making it hard not to reach for more. Dessert was the perfect finale. The Crème Fraîche Cheesecake, topped with Thai basil syrup and strawberries, was light and refreshing, with a subtle herbal note that made it stand out. The Lemon Tart, with its toasted meringue and raspberry, was a bright, citrusy delight—tangy, sweet, and beautifully presented. Service throughout the evening was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. Latuli isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Gulf Coast flavors with a sophisticated twist. Whether you're a local or visiting Houston, this is a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates thoughtful cuisine and a memorable dining experience.

Yelp
We had an amazing night tonight. Corey was so polite and professional. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and delicious authentic gumbo. The cacio y Pepe is also delicious. You can't go wrong here! The art is also out of this world! Get yourself a reservation!

Yelp
Great spot, especially for a special occasion! The menu has a few staples that stay the same, but it changes so keep an eye out! We came here tonight for the second time to celebrate a birthday, and they treated us very well. From a birthday cheers to a purse table next to the chairs, there was a lot of thoughtfulness and care from the restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the environment was even better. The dining room was a little loud, but everything else made up for it. Be sure to try the ahi tuna, and chicken and dumplings if you can catch it on the menu!

Yelp
Houston has no shortage of restaurants that promise exclusivity, but LaTuli needs to understand that exclusivity requires more than dim lighting and high prices. It requires execution -- and on my recent visit, execution was exactly what was missing. We arrived expecting a full dining experience, only to learn -- after being seated -- that the restaurant was serving brunch only. No mention of that beforehand. The dining room itself was in mid-Christmas decoration mode, which did little to enhance the atmosphere and a lot to remind us we'd come at the wrong time. The food, unfortunately, did not compensate. I was served what can only be described as a three-ounce bowl of cacio e pepe for $26, a dish that managed to be both underdone and dry -- no small feat for a pasta whose entire character depends on sauce and texture. The simple green salad, priced at $24, was topped with a dressing so harsh it rendered the salad itself inedible. Service didn't help matters. The wait staff, though pleasant enough, seemed unsure of the menu, unsure of the flow, and unsure of the very idea of what a "high-end dining room" is supposed to feel like. Houston is blessed -- almost overrun -- with excellent restaurants at far more reasonable prices. In a city with this much competition, you simply cannot charge luxury-level prices for half-formed ideas and poorly executed plates. LaTuli still has time to course-correct, but time is not unlimited. If they don't refine the menu, train the staff, and deliver the level of quality their pricing presumes, they will struggle to last six months. Houston diners are willing to pay for excellence -- but they can spot a pretender in one meal.

Yelp
I came here for Sunday brunch. I was surprised that there weren't a lot of brunch offerings that appealed to me. I ended up getting the "truffled toad in a hole"--with chicken sausage. The sausage was links instead of crumbles. The truffled flavor was very subtle. It was just kind of a bland meal in general, and not what I was hoping for. It was frigid inside, so we sat outside, and even though it was October, it was very unpleasant and there wasn't much airflow. Our waiter was very upbeat and wanted to be accommodating, so that was nice. Everyone liked their food well enough, but I wouldn't say anyone was wowed. Also, parking is totally valet. There's a lot across the street where it's ok to park when the business building is closed, but the restaurant staff advised against parking in any other non-valet area. I'd come back if they periodically rotate their menu, as not much appealed to me.

Yelp
#900 review Amazing experience for an impromptu lunch date. Valet only parking as we entered and a mention we had a hour for lunch was met with 1st class service . Our orders for shareable chicken and hummus and cacio e pepe pasta dish were taken quickly. Our food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was lightly fried and moist.Pefectly cooked and set on top of housemade hummus. Served with triangles of pita to dip was the perfect blend of flavors! The pasta dish was as good or better than we tasted in Italy this summer !! Recommendation to sit in tables in 21+ bar area was perfect to be able to talk since restaurant area was a bit louder. Natalie( asst.GM) came by to see how was our meal and gave us some background on how Latouli started the journey 6 months ago. As a new restaurant in Memorial area, this upscale but comfy styled restaurant with Western art was a lovely place to dine for lunch. Alfredo Paredas, the interior designer for Latouli had designed for Ralph Lauren for 30+ years. You could tell in the details accentuated throughout the rooms. Already planning a future dinner for a birthday celebration.

Yelp
Finally made it out to Latuli! It was solidly busy all night - a Tues! Only valet parking available at $8 (not sure if that's still the case). Everyone was super friendly, and chef stopped for a chat while monitoring the dining room. Bar/lounge area is dark and cozy, dining room is open with a huge vaulted ceiling. There's also a patio and private room available. Individual unisex water closets. The food was solid Americana and well executed. Went back for brunch, complimentary valet this time. Totally different menu than dinner, still delicious. A few faves: Dinner: Bread service, wild boar ragu, crab cake, blackberry cobbler, creme fraiche cheesecake Brunch: Pastry basket, roasted chicken cobb salad, tallow fries, barbacoa bene

Yelp
An unexpected delight for this upscale lunch spot . As you enter their complimentary valet only parking area you can tell service is going to be spectacular. We sat in the bar area so that we could enjoy a more private area that was easier to hear each other. Their menu offered some delicious shareable that were recommended from friends that had dinner here recently. We shared some chicken and hummus shareable with succulent slightly fried chicken that was a pleasant surprise. The hummus would give any high end Mediterranean restaurant a run for their money. We also shared a cacio.e pepe dish and the sauce was accompanied with small slices of house made pita bread. The restaurant was thoughtfully decorated with Texan styled ranch decor styled by a former stylist who worked 30 years for Ralph Lauren. We plan on returning for a special birthday dinner celebration next week.

Yelp
Cozy very relaxing atmosphere. Brunch menu very limited. Had the omelet with a salad. Very good. Portions are adequate but definitely not large. Table spacing works for easy conversations. Service was friendly and food service was relatively quick. Valet parking only.

Yelp
Took a friend here for their birthday, and were seated promptly when we arrived. We ordered some mocktails but the ginger beer one was the best tasting and the strawberry one just tasted like sugary strawberry juice. Their snapper carpaccio was bland and need some acid and seasoning. The wagyu barbacoa was the better dish of the evening. The ragu was alright, and the broccolini was okay - it had crunchy toppings that we did not think was necessary. The dessert options were lacklustre, and the chocolate cake seemed basic to me.

Yelp
It was a really nice ambience. Service was great and servers were attentive. I had my eye on this place so I'm glad it was enjoyable. They close after lunch to prepare for the dinner service midday (around 2:30-3) and open back up after 4 I believe. They keep the bar area open and you can order bar food during that time. Pretty good selection of wines and cocktails and the food was good. I expected a little more from the food but it was solid. This may be a place where I need to try a few things from the menu to really get a feel for the star dish. All in all, I'd go back. I think this spot is a definite must try at least once.

Yelp
Went here for brunch for my birthday. The service was great and welcoming. The inside is beautiful and outdoor seating is available. There is complementary valet as well so plenty of parking. The food and drinks were delicious. They have a full coffee bar however they do not have any alternative milks and only have whole milk which was a bummer. I definitely would return to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
Made reservations ahead of time on Resy! The interior is beautiful, very high ceilings. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Came during lunch time so I ordered a mocktail which was a Spring Saddle Ritual (zero proof tequila, strawberry chamomile, lemon and lime, soda). It was light and fruity. For appetizers, we ordered the Ahi Tuna (pretty mid in my opinion, it was super small, was missing some type of chips to eat it with and missing flavor) and the Shiner Bock Mussels (the broth was pretty tasty and mussels itself were cooked well). For my main, I got the Shrimp Boy (came as a 1/2 sandwich and fried shrimp was okay. And as well as House Made Chips). The Seared Gulf snapper lacked flavor and was a little dry. Cheesecake was okay as well. Our server was Juan and he was attentive and knowledgeable! We were given a glass of sweet champagne because we were celebrating my birthday, which was super nice of the staff. Restroom - Individual stalls and clean. Fancy napkins present. Lots of picture-esq moments to snap inside and outside. Parking - Valet (complimentary during lunch) No self parking

Yelp
Pretty slick transformation that took place at this building, moved from a commercial cleaner to this complete 180° dining space. There's valet only and it was a bit tight getting around the valet space, and I also recommend grabbing a reservation since even on a weekday at lunch they filled up quickly. Restaurant staff and accommodations were excellent, comfy seats and interesting room decor to look at. The experience was more kid friendly than I expected; high chairs are available as well as a kids menu with colors! We try to keep the kids trying new food like us, and it's great when a restaurant embraces families instead of sidelining them. The menu had some prepared raw dishes, we went with the ahi tuna and avocado. Some hot shareables, of which we tried the chicken and hummus and meatball in ragu. Both had some nice craveability, my word for the certain quality that makes it hard to stop eating. During lunch they have sandwiches and they they seems to lean into some Italian touches, so you'll see some fresh takes on a pizza or pasta as well. We went with the seafood skewer, I was a bit underwhelmed with what I got as it was only 3 shrimp and 1.5 piece of fish. Maybe could've found a way to make the dish go a bit further with another side. Wife got a snapper that she enjoyed fully, not disappointed on her end. We enjoyed a couple of drinks here too, there's a nicely stocked and big bar area and lounge to enjoy. Plenty of creative drinks. We may visit again if the hype dies down, I like that they're open for lunch to help space out the crowd. Overall the trend of restaurants were I enjoy the apps and shareables more than the entrees continues here.

Yelp
The decor and ambiance of Latuli's dining room and patio are thoughtfully and aesthetically designed. At lunch, the place was packed with a fun crowd. There was not an empty seat. We were sat in the bar which is not nearly as well appointed as the other areas of the restaurant and a tad loud and I like a loud-ish bar. The service was slow, not attentive and missing essential parts of nicer dining. The place was crowded; however, there were three bartenders. Typically three bartenders can handle a bar that seats approximately 30 people. The food we had was just ok. Presentation was average, but portions were a decent size. The food prices reflected the offerings. We both felt the menu had good variety. The bar program seems up to snuff. Drinks are inventive and around the $18 price point. By the glass wine prices are a tad higher than most places within this price range. My partner had a $22 glass of average red wine that was a tad under a 6 ounce pour. The small pour in small glasses looked cheap. We both love that Latuli offers mahjong play and lunch daily at 1:30. It's a brilliant idea. We will definitely be back for that, the vibe and beautiful atmosphere.

Yelp
Hot, new restaurant in the Houston Memorial area. Restaurant was crowded until fairly late, good energy, borderline too loud. But the experience was wonderful. The service was exceptional. The entire staff is well versed in high end service. I was very impressed with the waiter's knowledge and ability to describe and recommend items. The sommelier was fantastic, helped perfectly choose the wine for my palette and helped me discern what to pair. Highly recommend, we will definitely go back

Yelp
My wife and I stopped by Latuli yesterday for a quick dinner prior to an event in the Memorial area. The reservation was for 5 PM, and we were seated in the lounge area which was very busy and boisterous. Other than the fact we were able to watch the end of the Astros game, sitting in the lounge for our first visit to the restaurant was the only disappointment of the night. We started out with a couple of cocktails from the bar - A very good version of a Sazerac and a gin cocktail called Aviation that was too tart for my wife's taste. Roman was our server, and he was very informative and attentive. We were on a deadline to make the event later in the evening, so we got right to ordering. We got the Ahi Tuna Ribbons from the raw bar section. Very good app with just the right blend of soy, avocado, and ginger. Then for hot appetizers I ordered the duck and sausage gumbo and my wife opted for the heirloom tomato salad. The tomato salad was a definite hit. The fresh tomatoes along with the homemade Russian dressing and basil oil were a perfect match. The onion rings on top were good also, but perhaps only one onion ring was necessary to keep the dish more on the light side. The gumbo was tasty, but I like my roux a little thicker, so I might skip this dish next time. For the entrees my wife ordered the Snapper and Swiss Chard dish - very very good!! One of the best snapper dishes I think I've had. Very rich with the onion soubise topping. I had a dish off the "Daily Special" portion of the menu - Tempura Flounder with Asian xo sauce. This dish was the bomb, and why I love chef driven restaurants. Lightly breaded (seemed even lighter than typical tempura), with a very flavorful and medium spicy xo sauce. Crisp on the outside and moist on the inside and seasoned well. Served with a pickled greens salad. Great dish. The only side we added was the Sweet Potato Patatas Bravas. It was OK, but not great and we were getting full anyway. Really my mistake because I didn't notice they were sweet potatoes prior to ordering and sweet potatoes are not my thing. All in all a great meal with great service, in a great space. Only a month or so in, and this meal hit on all cylinders. Will enjoy a return visit and hopefully a seat in the main dining room to have better ambiance.

Yelp
Gorgeous! I've been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened recently, and I was blown away by the beautiful decor and ambiance! The servers were super friendly and considerate, and the food was spectacular for the most part. The bread service is a must. It comes with their house yeast rolls that were perfectly chewy with an excellent flavor that paired wonderfully with the whipped butter and jalepeno/poblano jelly. The Gruyère corn bread was okay and slightly too sweet for my taste. The Gulf Shrimp cocktail was okay and was served with 3 different sauces. The Double Dip was super craveable and unique. The kennebac chips had a super crispy texture and went well with the redfish dip and pimento cheese. My main course was the Roasted Grouper which was slightly disappointing. The fish didn't have a lot of flavor other than butter and the corn pudding was a little strange and an odd pairing in my opinion. The House French Fries are a must try. The potato texture was perfect and the garlic aioli was delicious. The Batata Brava was also a must try. The sweet potatoes were super pillowy and they were coated with a delectable sauce and paired with diced pecans. On to dessert: The 7 layer chocolate sheet cake was excellent with so many different textures and flavors! The spiced peach cobbler was also delicious and the brown butter crumble really made it even better. My diagnosis: beautiful decor with good food where certain dishes are hit or miss.

Yelp
Came here for a girls brunch and the restaurant vibes were super cute! We got the eggs Benedict, the steak and frites, and a carne asada dish. I can't remember the specific name of the dish, but the carne asada dish was the best one! It was super flavorful. Was topped with sunny side up eggs and served with tortillas. For dessert, we got the pain perdu and that was excellent. We came on a Sunday so we parked in the empty lot across the street since the business was closed. I hate valeting my car so that was the biggest con of this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious! From the first to the last bite this entire meal was perfect! The acidity in the slaw with the slightly sweet crab cake. The light crust on the cornbread. The well cooked fish to the al dente vegetables were all fabulous! Our server, Enrique, knew the menu from top to bottom and all the flavor profiles of menu were amazing. Kudos. It is however very loud with all the hard surfaces

Yelp
I went to Latuli for a small birthday celebration, the service was wonderful and the food was really good. The only thing we didn't care for was the steak that we ordered. It was pretty bland, there wasn't anything special about it and it was slightly overcooked. However, we did have some other dishes that were delicious like the seared snapper and our favorite was the Linguine al Funghi (I would totally come back just for this!) We also ordered a dessert, the cobbler which was yum (surprisingly it wasn't complimentary for my birthday).

Yelp
Update: During our visit our waiter brought us a complimentary prosecco to share in celebration of our anniversary. A lovely gesture. As I was looking at the receipt the next morning I noticed that we had been charged $13 for the "complimentary" prosecco. I am certainly hoping that that was an error that the restaurant will rectify. I have sent an email and will update with their response. We did not request anything complimentary nor did it in anyway affect my review, which is why it wasn't mentioned in my original review. The food, service & environment were lovely. I stand by my original review but hope they will correct their error. Updated: no one ever responded back. Keeping my rating the same but check your bill carefully before paying is my advice.

Yelp
It was all of our first time here at Latuli and it was a fun place to celebrate a birthday or just have a dinner out. The ambiance was nice , with cozy dim lighting and low upbeat music. We ordered a bunch of shareable plates such a chicken and hummus, fries, mussels, pasta , crab cakes and salad . Food came out very quick. Our waitress was so attentive along with all the other wait staff. Friday, was very busy at the bar and dining area. Valet service only at $8.

Yelp
Latuli's food was good, though a bit heavy, and the service was lacking. While it's an absolutely beautiful buildout and I think it will do well in that location, Latuli isn't my favorite restaurant. Our table ordered quite a few dishes to share, and none of them were bad, and none of them were amazing--and there were just SO many options on the menu that I didn't really know where to start. Here are the items I would order again: -Bread service: The parker house rolls were OK, but the cornbread is what made this dish great--perfect flavor and perfectly cooked, with whipped butter on the side. -Chicken and hummus: It's exactly what it sounds like--fried chicken tenders on a bed of hummus. The only item I wish we hadn't ordered was the peach cobbler for dessert. The flavor was super tart and not as sweet as I would have hoped, but the real fault with the dish is that it took 30+ minutes to come out to the table. Way too long of a wait without any warning. Service generally was sparse. The restaurant was super busy on a Friday night, and staff was not attentive. Our server didn't come to take drink orders until 15 minutes after we sat down, and those drinks took 15 minutes more to come out. Just not great service.

Yelp

Yelp
Creative and superb food. Redfish dip. Shaved Brussels sprout salad. Boar ragu. And the Snapper! Come for the food and stay for the ambiance. Service is attentive, professional while creating a casual and inviting vibe.

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant, great service, amazing food and location in Memorial. Favorites include the handmade pastas, steaks, shrimp spring rolls, the queso on the bar menu, literally everything on the brunch menu including the truffled egg dish and blueberry pancakes. Will be a mainstay in Houston for many years to come!

Yelp
Corey was awesome tonight. He was attentive and had a very positive attitude. I will surely ask for him again.

Yelp
In any establishment, service starts as soon as a patron walks through the door. My date and I were greeted by the hostess and what we later realized was the som. It was less of a greeting from the som and more so him being present when we walked in. He didn't speak, only turned around. The som was staring at my date and I as if he had an issue or we didn't belong. His face was bunched up and never smiled, only stared as I spoke with the hostess. I eventually look at him and turn my back towards him to acknowledge him and to show that he is not a part of our conversation. We get seated and look through the menu. My date then mentions how the som made her feel uncomfortable/awkward without me mentioning how I felt. I agreed with her and asked if she wanted to leave but we stayed. The best part of Latuli is the decor and our server was nice. The menu is all over the place for Mediterranean food. There's Hispanic notes and Asian blends in their menu which is fine but again, all over the place. Our meal lacked flavor. Nothing about Latuli would make me come back. We should have went to Bar Bludorn but wanted to try something new. I definitely had second hand embarrassment when my date made the comment about the som, being the reason I wanted to leave. We only stayed because she's an angel.

Yelp
The pork chop was fabulous and I must try. We also really liked the chicken and hummus and heirloom tomato salad.

Yelp
Had a reservation for next Saturday evening thinking it was this Saturday, but they quickly accommodated us. Food and ambiance is great! As you can see from snaps taken, we had quite a bit, and every single dish was amazing. I'd come again to try their brunch! Valet is $8

Yelp
What a terrific experience? The restaurant is elegantly dressed. Very Texas sheik! Interesting wall decor with furnishings the complimented that decor without competing. We ate in the bar area . My understanding is that the larger general dining area is just as well appointed. The food is remarkable. A straightforward menu of super fresh high quality dishes. My appetite wasn't as big ascit should have been. I had a gin martini and the their slice salad (a version of a wedge) and mussels with Pom frites. Now, let me say this I have eaten this dish all over the world. I love it. This version made with Shiner Bock and wine is unique and delicious. With the crispy fried potatoes and garlic toast, you shouldn't miss it. Fish was the order of the day at our table! Snapper and Tuna I believe and the reviews were excellent. The only thing I regret is not getting to sample and of the beef or pork this trip. I'll remedy that soon on my next visit.. Five star. Put it on the calendar straight away!!

Yelp
The meal was divine! Drinks were on fire! We sat outside which was nice but inside is even more beautiful. Reserve in advance for indoors. Allison Knight, the co-owner with Chef Bryan Caswell, came by to check in with us which so kind. She chatted a bit took our empty cocktail glasses. Service was truly impeccable overall.

Yelp
Food was very good. Service was also good and waiter very knowledgeable. Outside porch had a good ambiance for lunch. Inside with the tile floors could be loud.

Yelp
We had a great experience a Latuli. Our server was attentive and provided great recommendations from cocktails to eats. There was great ambiance and the interior decor is gorgeous. A Mediterranean/ rustic vibe. We live in the area so will return! Thank you for coming to the Village!

Yelp
I hate to give this place a bad review because the owner seemed very nice but hopefully this will help improve the restaurant. Ambiance was 10/10. We went to the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender asked us to close out our tab even before preparing our drinks. This was very strange for a restaurant of this caliber. Usually you either close out the tab after being served the drinks or have it charged with your table. I also had to ask for ice for my drink because it was luke warm which I felt strange doing. Food was underwhelming. The clams were overly briny. The barbacoa was strangely sweet and blah. The server described the chicken as "very flavorful" however it seemed under seasoned and overcooked. We skipped dessert. Our server was polite but seemed inexperienced. Valet was $8 and there is no option to self park at the restaurant.

Yelp
So happy to have found this gem!! We recently moved to Katy and have seriously been missing the city food scene!! This is the best restaurant for as far west as it is. Love!! Will be making this a regular!

Yelp
Rounding up from 3.5 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt. I wanted to love Latuli. The place is gorgeous, no doubt--it's giving upscale Mediterranean resort, and the patio is definitely date-night worthy. But the food? Kind of hit or miss. We started with the Shiner Bock mussels which were decent but super salty, and the double dip appetizer everyone talks about was...fine. I think I was expecting more wow. The rock shrimp tacos were fun and crispy, though. My orecchiette with sausage was flavorful but arrived lukewarm. Service was friendly and tried to be helpful, but it was chaotic--like they were understaffed or still figuring things out. Also, it gets loud inside. You're basically yelling across the table if you come during peak dinner. Wine list was cool if you're into boutique bottles, but I wish they had a few more by-the-glass options that didn't require asking the server to decode them. I'd give it another shot for the vibes alone, but not in a rush. Maybe better as a drinks-and-apps spot than a full dinner.

Yelp
What an incredible experience! Bryan Caswell & TEAM have really outdone themselves with this gorgeous & delicious gem! Came here for date night, being seafood lovers we pretty much had an all fish evening, grouper, snapper & crab cakes all were top notch and fantastic! Started off with the "chorizo & egg" puff pastry special as our appetizer - so good! The cocktails were great, the rosé was stellar, and the sweet potatoes veggie side was so delicious! The atmosphere and decor was incredible, I especially loved the art wall in the bar area! Our bartender Louis & waiter Jose couldn't have been better or better trained! Houston definitely has a new fine dining experience with a casual flare! So excited for Latuli! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Yelp
Decor, service, food were good. Kudos to Gaby for her attention and service - she made my wife's birthday special - something that was lost on reservation. Flank steak, crab cake, sweet potato's and of course the lemon tart - all delicious. Small mishap with the pozole but resolved - Thank you Gaby - overall a good experience

Yelp
Absolutely breathtaking inside and such a gem in Houston! The heirloom burrata salad with onion rings on top was unforgettable, a combo you wouldn't expect, but it works perfectly.

Yelp
Came for happy hour and took some food to go. Vaquero margarita was tasty and would order again. The duck sticks were popular at our table although I didn't try myself. The Truffle Pepperoni Pizza was not my favorite. The pickled serrano is misplaced against the truffle flavor. Also had the orecchiette and Italian sausage pasta which was good. Beautiful ambiance in the bar and restaurant.

Yelp
A+ menu, service, and ambiance. Perfect place for a great lunch or a family style dinner. Must try the pimento cheese as well as the gumbo, and burger - they are out of this world good!

Yelp
we started with the sliced wedge salad. it had all the parts including some crisp iceberg. from there we both had fish- the fish dishes were very good. The peach cobbler dessert finished a very nice effort from the kitchen! The ambiance was country club after church x 10 on volume. All the furniture is low so everyone can see everyone else... lots of tables of women being loud. Our waitress was clueless. she showed up several times to announce "enjoy" when my drink glass had been empty and the table uncleared. The table next to us invited friends over to crowd around for drinks. Management didn't care. food 10/10, noise- maybe not on weekends, service is apologetic

Yelp
The Crispy Oysters and Brussel sprouts were very good. I had the snapper and the others had crab cakes and shrimp fried rice. All the food was good and Julie was an exceptional waitress. Always good to catch up with Bryan! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Everything was excellent--from decorations to service to menu selections to quality of food. Can't wait to return and try other items.
