"Launderette seems to exist in two entirely separate worlds. By night, it’s a cute and intimate dining room set in a renovated laundromat with shared plates, and very much a place that should be on your date night roster. During brunch it transforms into a postcard-worthy spot for mimosas, pull-apart cinnamon buns, biscuit sandwiches, and whatever else people have grown accustomed to eating and drinking between the hours of 11am and 2pm on a weekend—most of them with small twists, like a salmon gravlax plate with neufchâtel butter and ash rye bread. Indulge in Launderette’s fluffy buttermilk pancakes, biscuit sandwiches with sunny-side eggs, latkes, pork shoulder hash with Brussels sprouts, and Turkish eggs. It also offers excellent pastries, including a must-eat zucchini bread and a rotating pastry of the day that keeps things interesting, no matter how many times you’ve visited. "If there’s one restaurant in Austin that’s designed for a laid-back bachelorette party, it’s Launderette. There’s a big patio, plus a few large indoor tables, and most of the menu is great for sharing. The menu changes regularly, but you can usually expect to find dishes like fried oysters, burrata with focaccia, and pork spare ribs.
