The waitress Livia was excellent. She was extremely intelligent and talented. Thorough with the knowledge of the menu. We were so lucky to have her as our server. She made our experience both cherish-able and memorable. The food was aesthetically presented. Flavors and textures were very good. The lobster could have been fresher. Loved the place and food and vibes.

Google
Everything was exceptional. The food was all so delicious and just perfectly balanced. So much flavours but nothing was overwhelming…nothing was too salty, too sour, too saucy…just perfect flavouring! Service was excellent…you can tell people genuinely love their job here. The interior is very beautiful for a bistro vibe. Definitely my favourite bistro for a perfectly relaxed dinner in Quebec City 💙. Thank you to the whole team!

Google
Le Clocher Penché LCP set the bar really high for our culinary experience in Quebec City! It was our first night in Quebec and it didn't fail us from start to end. The service was attentive. The food was great throughout —highlights included fresh oysters topped with a refreshing granita, snowcrab with scallop and chanterelle, portchetta with blood pudding, polenta with duck ham. Despite short selections of desserts, the creativity remained high....Maple flan+ nuts crust was a nice surprise. The size of Creme Brulee + banana cake was probably the biggest we have had for years..... Their cocktails were also refreshing and the sweet wine was just right. It made our first night in Quebec City very memorable.

Google
I celebrated my birthday dinner at Le Clocher Penché, and it was a truly special experience. Though the main dining room was full, we were seated in the Red Room—a sleek, intimate space usually reserved for private events—which made the evening feel even more intimate. The service was attentive, the ambiance effortlessly chic, and the cocktails expertly crafted. The food was great from start to finish—highlights included the house-made bread and butter, fresh oysters topped with a refreshing granita, and the standout favorite: the gnocchi. A perfect spot for a memorable, special-occasion meal in Quebec City.

Google
Great experience at Le Clocher Penche. The food was good and they were able to accommodate our late reservation. Highlights for me are the pasta and rhubarb dessert. Would definitely recommend when coming to Quebec City.

Google
Very quirky but elevated spot for small plates and higher end drinks. They were very busy when my friends and I went but they still made room for us(at the bar) even if we didn't have reservations. The food and drinks were excellent and they have someone experienced making the drinks and he seems to take it very seriously. Service was above and beyond I'd say. One thing though, it's difficult to find the place if you are not familiar with the area. The sign is easy to miss. I would definetly make reservations instead of walking in , not all the seatings is "comfortable". It's a little cramped.

Google
Was on a short vacation and this restaurant was highly recommended to us by our massage therapist…it was some of the most delicious food and the service was top notch. Definitely worth it and when I return to Quebec will go again.

Google
A standout culinary experience in Quebec City! We visited on a Friday evening, were met by a warm and welcoming team, seated in a very pleasant area next to the wine cellar, and treated to some of the best flavours we found during our stay. Dishes pair invention with food of the highest quality. Starters of Scallops and Steak tartare were extraordinary, followed impressively by Duck breast and Orgetto. The introduction of eggplant into the Steak tartare is a real game changer and the Duck's charcuterie sauce was a unique taste to savour! Cocktails were also excellent. Overall, LCP quickly became one of my all-time favourites. Book now, you won't regret it!!

Yelp
An intimate restaurant specializing seafood dishes. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu and explained it very thoroughly. Service was attentive and personal. Dishes featured many local ingredients that complemented each other well thanks to the chefs' innovations and expertise. A perfect eatery for seafood lovers!
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding everything here, as dishes are made with intention. Sampled the scallops and squash as starters, had the Char and beef cheeks as entrees, and crème brûlée and buche Noel to finish. Love that there's a maximum time of 2.5 hours to sit and savor your meal, while service remains attentive. We felt lucky to reserve a table at the last minute in a Friday night. Well worth a visit if in QC.

Yelp
Food was outstanding. Highly recommend this place. Mostly locals. A la cart menu. Great for sharing.

Yelp
Very pretty small highly regarded restaurant. Kathleen took great care of us The menu is Very eclectic and creative. Farm to table for sure. Very poor neighborhood that is being gentrified slowly. Limited menu with delicious choices. Good wine menu. Important to support small Indy businesses. Established in 1985. Smaller curated fresh portions. Highly reviewed and rated. ***** Worth your attention and support.

Yelp
A nice restaurant located outside the tourist area. We had bread, arancini and tomato tartlet for starters, all were good! I had the Guinea fowl, moist , tender and crispy skin, it is similar to duck but leaner. I love it. The malfadine was also delicious with a little kick. To end the dinner , we had the coconut crème brûlée. Overall, food was very good. In Quebec City I find service is slow but the food made up the experience. Lydia, our server was knowledgeable. Go check this place.

Yelp
Tremendous!! The ingredients, the menu, and the preparation by the chef and his team were superlative! So fresh...every dish was pure magic. The combination of ingredients can be adventurous...yet, does not disappoint! Simply, they just know what works! The chef kindly adjusted a couple of dishes for dietry requirements for my dining partner. The menu changes each day. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting (an old bank), which has been tastefully designed, complementing the buildings original features. The restaurant team work like a well oiled machine. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They also have a wonderful bar, with great cocktails and a tremendous mocktail selection! It was fantastic to see the kitchen and watch the chef & team create their magic. I loved that there was no hierarchy behind the scenes. It was like watching an ensemble dance! They all work hard. I spied the chef making a dessert and his focus/attention to detail was quite moving. A real love story. I'm so glad that we booked this restaurant. We will be back. It was a highlight of our trip! 100% satisfied diner here! And for the high standard, it was moderately priced too!!!

Yelp
OUTSTANDING!!!! Our dinner experience exceeded any expectations! The service was fantastic, our server was very kind and attentive, explained the whole menu to us specifying the provenance of their ingredients (often local and from their own farm). The cocktails were delicious but most of all, the food was INCREDIBLE. We had two appetizers and two entrees and a dessert, and they made it so easy for us to split it all. We were very full by the end, but the portions were the perfect amount. The place was crowded but not too loud and their open kitchen concept made it really cool to watch the chefs at work. It did take a bit of time to get our food, but that's because EVERYTHING is homemade and absolutely delicious!! (Plus, we enjoyed taking our time sipping on our drinks and chatting). Absolutely worth it, and don't forget to make a reservation.

Yelp
Really a wonderful place for a causal meal. The menu was very creative and well executed. I love the Scallops with bloodpudding. Oyster were pristine ! Wine list was packed with nice local choices. Looking at the picture makes me want to return soon !!

Yelp
We are visiting Quebec City for the first time and had dinner at Clocher Penché. It was a wonderful experience! Everything from the starters to the entrees and desserts were inventive, delicious and beautifully prepared with great care and attention to detail. Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was tasteful, warm, cozy and inviting. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Our airbnb host recommended this spot and wow were we impressed! The aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful and the service was perfect. Attentive and knowledgable as well as friendly but also allowed us to have our date. The cocktails were delicious the frail rock being the favorite. We also tried three different kinds of local gins and we're really impressed with the different flavours and our servers ability to explain what they were like. The food was so beautifully presented and I honestly can't pick a favourite everything was delicious. It might've been the best Pavlova of my life. But honestly I would order all the exact same things again they were so wonderful. We mainly picked by taking our servers recommendations.

Yelp
So good I asked the waitress if they had a spot for dinner the next day (they did not! Turns out Quebec city is bonkers packed in august even on weekdays) , which I've never done before. Each dish was a whole flavor journey in and of itself. Some referenced different regions (china, spain, etc) but it was always fresh, seasonal, and balanced--so much better than the rude amalgam often found in "fusion" foods. Honestly I wanted to return to try the other half of the menu and I would have if I'd had the time. If you can get a reso, go! Everything is delicous so go with an empty stomach and someone who is gonna foot the bill (which isn't exorbitant but add a nice bottle of wine and it's definitely a treat yourself kinda meal).

Yelp
We came for dinner here on our weekend in Quebec City. The atmosphere of the restaurant was open and bright. The menu is simple but covers all the bases, and I liked that the drink menu had a variety of wine and beer by the glass as well as cocktails and mocktails. The vegetable terrine was the best veggie dish I've had in Canada. Would definitely dine here again!

Jeff M.

Yelp
Wait staff were excellent and inclusive! Classic French dishes with an eclectic modern twist.

Cerita L.

Yelp
Not sure about the hype of this restaurant. Food was good but not fantastic. Had reservations for 8:30. When we finally got seated it took at least 25 minutes to get a glass of water. Not sure the service was so poor because we were English speakers? Not sure but it was a tad ridiculous how slow the service was. Not worth the hour wait to get the food
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best meals I've had in my life! I stayed just down the block from here and managed to score a last-minute reservation. Super lucky! The menu changes weekly based on what's in season, and everything is fresh and delicious. The restaurant is beautifully appointed in dark green, white, and black, with cheery plants framing the back wall where the bar is. They speak French and English, so they were able switch flawlessly for the uneducated American that I am. If you go here, definitely come with a big appetite.

Yelp
This was, by far, the best meal we had in Quebec City. Hands down. Not even close. BEST MEAL. Phenomenally good. The service was on a par with the food and our server was warm and gracious and spoke perfect English. We did make a reservation as even on a dreary Tuesday night, it filled up. We started with a half carafe of the Faugeres Les Petites Mains 2015 L'Ancienne Mercerie which was divine with our Mackerel appetizer. The cherry tomatoes were so unbelievably good and the fish was tender and smoked perfectly served over the most delicate corn ragout. We ordered more bread to sop up that delicious broth. For main entrees, we had the Pork Agnolotti over a Bouillabaisse sauce with fresh tender peas that was out of this world good. It actually stunned us both to silence. It was THAT good. There was a topping of crumbled red pepper and cheese that didn't overpower the delicate pork flavor and the pasta was absolutely tender and thin. So delicious! To finish, we had some of the 20 year port with a dessert featuring a flakey filo dough disk, strawberries, fresh cream, meringue, and these little dollops of flavor (I think maple). Terrific meal with terrific service!

Yelp
We were the very first customer, don't know why threw us in the dark back room instead of the main dining area. The waitress was super nice and explained all the menu choices. Her recommendation the cheese appetizer was really creamy with the freshness of the cucumber, thumbs up. The lobster appetizer was great also. The halibut was so so , nothing special. The beef was tender, but no wow factor.

Yelp
Everything is nice. The suckling pig was a little overdone but quite flavourful. Fish of the day is the best - but I have since forgotten the name of this fish!

Yelp
Delicious, delicious, delicious! My friend found this place on Yelp near our Airbnb and we decided to try it out for dinner. We came early (around 6:00pm) and were seated right away. For starter, we ordered the Octopus ($16.00 CAD). This was served with Aspic, soft quail egg, roasted pepper purée, fennel confit, and coriander vinaigrette. This was extremely light on the stomach and tasted very fresh. For main course, we went for the fish of the day - scallops (market price)! This was SO GOOD! The scallops were fresh and paired perfectly with the sauce it came with. It also came with some crispy skin - delicious! If you're around the area, definitely come here and try it out. Their menu is extremely unique.

Yelp
Brunch was excellent. It came with an appetizer (earl grey jelly with cherry jam, yogurt, and some sort of crumble on top), main, and either 2 coffees (before and after) or 1 huge latte. The appetizer was very good. Surprisingly not too sweet, and the earl grey jelly had a very nice uplifting character. Very smooth & balanced. Our mains were the smoked salmon benedict and the Scotch egg. Both dishes had perfectly cooked eggs... In particular, the Scotch egg was just on the verge of being runny, but creamy. The house made sausage surrounding it was savoury and not greasy at all. There was grilled lettuce with a really nice creamy dressing on it. Who knew grilled lettuce was so good? Hashbrowns were super crisp and delicious for both. The cold-smoked salmon had a nice sashimi-like mouth feel, and not super smokey. Really nice. Oh, and the coffee (long espresso) was great. Nice crema and not overly bitter. Would highly recommend! If we had more time, we'd come back again for another meal for sure. Seemed like it was all locals - we were the only tourists based on the French everyone spoke.

Yelp
Great ambiance, knowledgeable and friendly staff, wonderful food and a good wine list. We had The gazpacho, fish du jour (monk) and pasta. All were excellent. Seasoned well and plated beautifully.

Yelp
Nice ambiance! Tremendous service! Creative food in sort of New French style. I believe menu changes frequently conforming to availabilities.

Yelp
Amazing. What a great meal. Another example of a Yelp steered me to an inspired meal. On a rainy evening we hazarded the leaf-strewn one-way streets of Quebec City and made our way from our AirBNB location to check out this highly rated restaurant. The restaurant was only a third full when we arrived (considering it was a rainy Tuesday evening around 6pm, this was not surprising). It's located in a section of the city with several blocks of local businesses--cafés, some restaurants, antique stores, a drycleaner, a couple hardware stores. The restaurant is situated on an unassuming corner, when you walk inside there is a bar area, looking to your right you see the space open up to the length of the restaurant. Large canvasses of artwork by local artists are displayed prominently on the walls, framed by high ceilings that give the restaurant an art gallery mixed with a 20's cocktail lounge vibe. The menu features seasonal produce and is updated periodically so while the menu wasn't expansive, the options looked well-curated. (And what better reason to come back and try the restaurant again?) I started with the mushroom consommé, and then had the salmon tartare ($21) for my entree. Both friends ordered the seasonal fish special ($27-28)--I believe it was a trout--so good! I tried a few bites--the skin was crisp and the flesh delicate and tender. One of the better cooked pieces I've enjoyed in my life. We found the creative, artistic presentation of the vegetables especially appetizing. They mixed colors and textures in a Scandinavian-influenced presentation that brought the beauty of nature into the appearance of the dish. My own salmon tartare was yummy. Though we didn't have time to try the desserts, I would be curious to give a couple of them a go next time I'm in town. Love this place!

Blair W.

Yelp
Hands down the best meal I have had in Quebec City. The food is amazing without being fussy. The knowledge of the staff about the wine and the preparation of the food blew us away. Add to this a romantic space, we will be back.
google avatar

Tam N.

Yelp
I love farm to table bistros and was so glad to find this place. Everything tasted so fresh. I liked everything we got but the dessert blew my mind. We had an interesting take on cheesecake, we got the beet cheesecake and it was honestly so good! You couldn't really taste the beet in it. The presentation of all the dishes were spot on. This is a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
Found this place in the Neighbourhood I was staying. Seems to be a popular local haunt. And I can see why. The food is fabulous. Recommended.
google avatar

Patricia L.

Yelp
The restaurant was very bright and lively! I loved all aspect of the decorations and the service was great too! They didn't have an English menu (which means they're legit), but the waitress explained everything on the menu to us and answered any questions we had. The appetizers were yummy and my boyfriend got the pan seared salmon which was DELICIOUS. I got the salmon risotto which wasn't what I expected but it was still good nonetheless. I would definitely come back for lunch as they have the prix fix menu. Love the restaurant!

Yelp
Of all the eateries we visited during our one week visit to Montreal and Quebec City this restaurant stood out as the first for my belated review. We loved it. I stuck my neck out and ordered the "Boudin noir maison" (House Black Pudding). With my Franco-American background in NH I wasn't oblivious to what I was ordering (blood pudding). This was the most courageous menu item I encountered during our trip so I had to order it. Kudos to Clocher Penché for putting it on the menu. It was paired with some wonderful sauces and root vegetables, and even though my photo makes it look a bit skimpy, it wasn't. My only quibble was that it could have used a bit more sauce, as it was a bit dry. I think this should be offered in a smaller amount as an appetizer course so that diners can try some true French Canadian cuisine without a main course commitment. Way too much pomme frites and beef/salmon tartare at many other restaurants. I probably would try something else next time (this would be a must-return-to location). And yes, the name translated as Crooked Steeple does refer to a church across the intersection from the restaurant.
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great food, and friendly service. Located outside of the old port but worth the short trip there.
google avatar

Joey K.

Yelp
Great staff very accommodating, have an English menu available upon request. Daily changing specials for dinner and draft list so be sure to ask. Definitely recommend the sour be available. Not to loud so it's good for a date and relatively well priced for the quality of food

Rob W.

Yelp
Our meal here was because of a recommendation and we are so happy that we acted upon it! A delightful place with a charming atmosphere and staff. We decided upon polar opposites from the menu. The vegetarian "brick" for my wife and the blood sausage and sweetbreads for me! Both were splendid. We started with a beautifully composed, shredded beet salad. The open kitchen was fun to watch. Calm and smooth and the food reflected that vibe. We will be happy to return when we are again in Quebec and the Saint-Roche neighbourhood. A bientot!!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
I ordered the starter butternut soup. Excellent ingredients and flavor. My wife order the salad starter - I took a few bites. Very fresh ingredients and the dressing was very flavorful. For the main I ordered the pulled pork risiotto nice mix if fresh crispy veggies. The crispy pork was perfect! The risiotto was nice and firm, not overcooked. Compact place, crowded and somewhat noisy (ok).very attentive Wait staff and English is also spoken.
google avatar

Randall H.

Yelp
The food is so damn good. One of the best restaurants in the world, according to me (and I've eaten at a bunch of them). This was my third time at Cloche Penche in 15 years and it never disappoints. Wonderful and romantic and hip. The cocktails are truly craft and yum. The room is super laid-back and cool. But it's the food...omg the food is just so consistently good. Tonight my husband and I shared the "casserole," which is for 2 and is basically a meal in a pot--it changes daily. Was CAD$60 for two and dazzlingly good. Tonight it included pork belly, homemade chorizo, a kale salad, and an impossibly good oat "risotto." Excellent and efficient service; the leisurely pacing is thoughtful and doesn't miss a beat. We will return again anytime we are lucky enough to visit Quebec City.
google avatar

Jay R.

Yelp
The ambience is lovely, relaxed and enhanced by the wine. We arrived a bit before the crowd and received prompt friendly attention. My wife chose the char over butternut squash soup which was very good with the Pasta for her main course-also very tasty. In fact I liked her choices more than mine! My pike was well presented served over a plateful of farm-to-table fresh peas and carrots & tasty enough but almost overwhelmed by the vegetables that I could not finish. By then we were so satiated we settled for a shared cappuccino for dessert before strolling down St Joseph back to our hotel. Definitely worth the walk!
google avatar

Puja B.

Yelp
When visiting Quebec, Hubby and I were told to visit this place for excellent local cuisine, so we were able to go there for lunch. I had the fresh cheese which was presented beautifully and was delicious I ordered the pasta dish which was excellent and light Both dishes were light, delicious and fragrant and beautiful . Service was good. Suggest this place for a cute bistro meal!
google avatar

Euge W.

Yelp
Small menu and simple too, nothing much choice but because of this the food is so good. Recommend the Chicken liver mousse, looks and taste so good. Please have some space for the dessert, you will enjoy it. Their servers is very friendly, explain what i need to know and explain very detail and well.
google avatar

Caitlyn S.

Yelp
This is one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Might be my #2 restaurant ever. For apps we got the Leek and Boar and wow that braised boar was tender and juicy and tasted pretty sweet. Everything complemented each other so well. I got the homemade pasta and holy shit it still has me salivating. Mushrooms, red cabbage and chicken with pasta in that sauce to die for. My friends shared the bone marrow venison casserole and unsurprisingly also amazing. The puff pastry was soft and crispy and in conjunction with the carrots, potatoes and tender venison.. fuego! The ambiance in there is so lively and casual too. Staff super friendly and lovely. This place is the bomb.com.

Yelp
Omg! the food is amaaaazing! I came here last night- my last night in Quebec. I just checked the menu to correctly state the items I ordered, but it's different? So, clearly they update their menus frequently(?) so, in English- I had the cold lobster salad appetizer with asparagus, salad, and a yellow pepper 'sauce' and a sparkling white wine. Then, I ordered the halibut w veggies, tomatoes served in a shellfish broth. Yaaaaall. You really could just drink the broth. Divine. Then, for dessert--ordered the crème brûlée w mushroom essence? Listen! I hate mushrooms! And I only ordered this dessert b/c the waitress said it doesn't have the flesh of mushroom...and whatever variety this was- tastes like caramel and hazelnut. Sold on the hazelnut taste!! So good.. oh, and I ordered another white wine to go with the halibut.. total cost $109 CAD which is around $85 USD?? for an amazing meal and great service and atmosphere! Def will be back!

Yelp
Our first night in Quebec City, I read about this place from various food blogs. We came in on a Tuesday night, I made a reservation for 6pm online but didn't need to as there were plenty of tables. Beautiful, casual, but classy vibe to the place. Unpretentious but refined. We started with PEI oysters ($2 CAD each) and then ordered the cocotte for two ($58 CAD) with duck, fresh veg (carrots, turnips, brussels), on top of a perfect potato gratin with mushroom gravy on the side. Veg was farm fresh, gratin's potatoes were thin and rich without tasting greasy. Duck was perfectly cooked for most pieces except the ends. Our server recommended a great pairing. We also ordered a maple soaked cake with blueberry sorbet and fresh blueberries that was divine ($8 CAD). We also ordered a maple soaked cake with blueberry sorbet and fresh blueberries ($8CAD) -- divine. We paid to park one block down for $2.50 CAD/hour.

Yelp
Came here for dinner around 5:30 and was seated right away. Service was great and our cups were never left half full. Onto the food, the tuna salad was good with cubes of raw tuna marinated in soy sauce with a very generous portion. The chicken was the highlight of the table. With almost a tofu like consistency that melted in your mouth, this chicken had a blend of flavors that boasted of an authentic french dish. Beautiful restaurant, great service, and even better food.
google avatar

Doug A.

Yelp
So what should a cool French bistro have in it? Great French Onion soup made in a unique way? A great ambience of modern and classic? Multiple Canadian made liquors on the menu? (I had a Gin and Tonic like I haven't had in years.) Great staff to serve you in French or English? Awesome bread? Tender Salmon Tartar? Honestly I was totally enjoying an evening out by myself, but plenty of happy groups filled the place. Well worth seeking out.
google avatar

Nick S.

Yelp
Delicious meal and very friendly servers. They make interesting and tasty cocktails. We ordered the porcelet and the cocotte for two. Both dishes were fantastic and competitively priced compared to similar restaurants in the city. We had no room for dessert after the massive portion of duck. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Linda C.

Yelp
Great food on a very cold day. One fish dish, Atlantic Char, served with a lentil and mushroom cake and assorted very fresh vegetables, garnished with a delightful fresh salsa. Hubby had risotto with pulled pork and vegetables. We chose the price fixe lunch, one soup and one salad to start. Soup was creamed carrot and squash, salad was various greens with shaved carrots and, I think, shaved turnip, with a light and very fresh dressing. Skipped dessert. Total, including one glass of wine, was $54, plus tip, a splurge, but that's Canadian dollars, so very reasonable by our SF Bay Area standards.

Joanne H.

Yelp
Excellent meal last night. Made a reservation but it was not really necessary on a Tuesday night in late November. Managed to find street parking although it was tough in this very busy eclectic area. Nice touch warm olives to nibble while waiting . Starters were excellent- fresh cheese excellent. Pasta dish again excellent. Blood pudding -my dinner companions said was very good. Local bread very good. Wine choice huge. Dessert was good but visually not as well done. All in all very cosy local restaurant serving excellent food.

Coy W.

Yelp
We came by for brunch on our way out of Quebec City and weren't sure if we could get a seat at the last minute as the best restaurant list was recently released last when we visited this place but sure enough they squeezed us into one of the last tables. The best brunch I had last year. Everything was cooked perfectly and they even brought a small starter which we didn't order and was delicious. Service was excellent and I wanted to come back immediately for a second brunch...like a hobbit.

Ingrid B.

Yelp
We dined there last night and had a delectable meal. This is our first time in Quebec and we must say this was our best evening meal this far. We shared the poke style tuna appetizer. Fresh and raw, beautiful! I had the special special Char fish which was prepared lightly and gull of flavour. My husband had the beef shoulder dish which came tender in fried polenta. Great service and a good vibe overall.

Meredith B.

Yelp
This restaurant gets a B/B+. The food was a solid good. The best thing we got was the trout special. The "salad" (which was a deconstructed bakes potato) was creative but not great (at least for this American who likes vegetables). The ambience was modern and artsy. The presentation was great. We enjoyed this restaurant but it was not our favorite.

Dannie W.

Yelp
They gave the jelly appetizer which is kind of appetizing. The duck confit with pancake sounds weird, but the pancake is not the sweet one. I like the pancakes as it's a bit crispy. I like the roasted potatoes the most. I don't usually like the starchy taste, but the potatoes are crispy outside and very smooth inside with little starchy taste. It's one of the best potatoes I've had. The pork belly is very good too. It doesn't taste greasy and the meat/fat is very tender and flavorful.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with a big group of 30 on a Saturday night and I wouldn't say it was mind blowing but it was better than most. Since we were such a big group they gave us a set menu so I'm not sure if that effected the experience or quality of the food from norm. I'm also unsure of whether their AC was broken or if they don't have it at all as they had the ceiling fans going the whole time. The presentations of all the dishes were beautiful and the service was friendly and attentive. I got the veal carpaccio to start and while everything was fresh, I felt like it was missing something. Maybe just a pinch of salt or just a bit more of that sauce they put on. It was good but it didn't wow me. For the main course I got the beef shoulder sirloin with veggies and my boyfriend got the risotto with jerk chicken. The beef was cooked to about medium well (I normally eat my beef blue rare so it was not as satisfactory for me). The veggies also lacked a bit of flavour but there was a sweet potato (and pumpkin?) purée on the bottom that was delicious. I tried the risotto too which I thought was a little saltier than I usually like it but it was good. The jerk chicken was a little dry though. Onto dessert! The white chocolate ice cream with sweet biscuits and strawberries was yummmmmm. We also tried the blackberries with puff pastry and whipped cream but we both liked the ice cream more. Last thing in this overly long review, don't get the sangria. It sounds good but it was not...
