The 8 Best Places to Drink Wine in Paris, According to a Top Sommelier | Bon Appétit

"A 2nd‑arrondissement counter‑style spot where sommelier Arnaud Tronche runs a remarkable program stocked with producers that are typically hard to find or expensive in the U.S.—Bérêche, Boudignon, Dujac, Dauvissat among them—priced close to retail rather than typical restaurant markups; it’s a great place to enjoy high‑quality bottles by the glass, including a perfectly chilled Tempier Bandol rosé." - ByVictoria James

The shop looks a little intimidating but the restaurant is cosy. Lots of gems in the wine list at reasonable prices. Food is certainly above average. The restaurant a bit short-handed but the service remains warm and professional.

What a lovely experience, this historic property is heaven for wine lovers. It is best to have a reservation, but sometimes you can sneak a table or spot at the bar in the quiet hours of the day.

The staff in the wine shop was VERY knowledgable and helpful- very humble too, he didn’t try to sell us anything, simply made sincere professional recommendations. We loved the variety of wine there- the bar looked great too, will definitely come back

Dear Legrand team, Thank you for your message. To be clear, we did not dine at your restaurant, but we did visit your boutique. In short, we felt that our mere presence in the shop offended the staff who received us. We were eager to explore your collection but his attitude really put us off. Very disappointed, especially when your establishment is such an amazing one. Have a good day.

Very very good red wine, lovely atmosphere. A bit hard to find, also in a lovely area!

Excellent wine bar cafe. We had a delicious lunch with wine pairings at the bar! We enjoyed talking to the personnel about the wine. We bought 3 bottles!

If you wanted to imbibe rare champagnes *cough* Jacques Selosse *cough*, this is the place to go. There are also other wines that are really reasonably priced and will suit everyone with different budgets. The atmosphere of the wine bar is also awesome and is as atmospheric as it can get, drinking wines in Paris. Service is great too. Look for Anya, who will be more than happy to serve you (with a lot of smiles.)

Beautiful wine bar close to Palais-Royal. The staff are excellent and make really good recommendations. They have a superb selection in their cellar, and prices are reasonable. They also have a little delicatessen up front. Definitely a good idea to spend an afternoon tasting wine at the bar!
