I had a lovely time here. I did not get food but the selection was lovely and the staff at the bar are happy to make sure you like the wine before pouring you a full glass. It’s classy and comfortable. Plus there’s a great wine shop attached. I had an excellent experience. Louis and Anya were lovely servers.

Excellent wine menu. Lunch was limited to choice but intentionally to pair well with the wine.

The shop looks a little intimidating but the restaurant is cosy. Lots of gems in the wine list at reasonable prices. Food is certainly above average. The restaurant a bit short-handed but the service remains warm and professional.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this outstanding wine bar, home to an almost unrivaled selection of wines – and most impressively, champagnes. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it the kind of place you never want to leave. Our server, Anja, was exceptional – attentive, gracious, and armed with a truly remarkable knowledge of wine. She guided us through the list with passion and precision, turning each choice into a discovery. A special shout-out also goes to Louis, whose warm hospitality and charm made us feel instantly welcome. An absolute gem for anyone who appreciates fine wine, exceptional champagne, and impeccable service.

Our favorite cave in Paris with small bar and restaurant. Go to the restaurant for perfect plates and pairings, or explore their enormous selection of bottles. There really is no limit to what you can find aside from your budget. Incredible!

What a lovely experience, this historic property is heaven for wine lovers. It is best to have a reservation, but sometimes you can sneak a table or spot at the bar in the quiet hours of the day.

Beautiful wine bar close to Palais-Royal. The staff are excellent and make really good recommendations. They have a superb selection in their cellar, and prices are reasonable. They also have a little delicatessen up front. Definitely a good idea to spend an afternoon tasting wine at the bar!

Nice wine bar but expect to wait if you don't have reservations. We wanted to get something light but the time we went, they don't serve any foods, just drinks. We sat at the bar and had a glass of champagne. Nice ambiance. 55 euros for a glass of Verre 12 cl Champagne Krug Grande Cuvée 171ème Edi

Great little place we stopped by just for a glass of wine. Customer service was very good and our service helped with some quality wine recommendations. I recommend stopping here and the food looked good too!

Fancy Happy Hour here. One of the oldest wine bars in Paris. Dating back to the 19th century (upstairs with wine, coffee and spices) but the downstairs wine bar open since 2010. A great selection of wines and small bites, cheeses and chocolates. During the week it closes early at 7:30 but weekends at 10 due to the type of license, cave. They allowed us to try a few before selecting a glass. Knowledgeable servers and as you expect a bit of snob, which I appreciate with good wine ;-)

Limited but tasty food menu but the real star here is the wine! There is no list, you just wonder around and pick out what you want. Pretty cool concept. The service is great and I'll just say their english is far better than my French :-)

Lovely, cozy wine bar and shop that came highly recommended by a coworker of mine. Outstanding selection and reserved but thoughtful and helpful staff. I would love to return again and try the charcuterie as well but we didn't have a chance this time. Ah well, I'll just have to go back! ;-)

A wonderful place to have a bottle of wine. The atmosphere feels cozy and private (we sat inside) and I loved the quaint, rustic decor. Our server was friendly and helpful to us tourists - she even recommended some lovely dinner options afterwards since we closed the place down. We were recommended a delightful Cab Franc and the charcuterie plate - score! We will be returning here on our next trip to Paris.

I hadn't read or known anything about Legrand Filles et Fils when we entered Galerie Vivienne. We walked the length of it, but this gorgeous place kept calling my name, so we went back for a glass of wine and a light lunch. The "La Legrand" plate had 2 very different and interesting pates, one of which was very course and hearty in texture, and reminded me of something one might find in the countryside, and another that was richer and had a smoother texture - which my husband preferred. It came with sausage as well as balsamic onions and some cheeses. And all of it was lovely! I was so glad to happen upon this gem, and found the name also intriguing. Apparently Legrand had no sons, only a daughter, but named his shop "Legrand daughters and sons" at any rate. She took over from him, and apparently had an even more immaculate palate for wines. That's neither here nor there, just an interesting tidbit. This place is truly not to be missed! And as it is housed within the *gorgeous* Galerie Vivienne, your palate will be as pleased as your eyes.

located in the stunning Galerie Vivienne, this cave à vins-épicerie has been supplying locals with fine food & wine since 1880. it deserves a visit not only for its charm but also for all the goodies to taste. and find that unique gift for foodie-wine lovers with a distinct french provenance. from champagne & grand crus; foie gras & canned confit; chocolates, bonbons and biscuits. or stop by after a promenade at the nearby Palais Royal and sample a vintage at the bar à vin with a plate of cheese & charcuterie. and sit at a table underneath the glass & iron-roofed arcade. i guarantee you'll feel very parisien.

While this old-world candy shop/epicier is known for its fabulous selection of French confections and specialty items, it's also got a very classy bar in the back that looks onto the Galerie Vivienne. They do wine tasting courses there and other private event on a regular basis, which is understandable since the space is so gorgeous. But you can just swing by for a glass of wine from their celebrated cellar, which is what I did recently with a friend while strolling through the Galerie. The prices are not cheap (6E-9E) for a glass of wine, but not only are they delicious, the space itself is so calm and sophisticated you feel like you've got on a mini-vacation while sitting there. My only gripe -- and it's a big one -- is that they close at 7pm so you really can't linger leisurely..

Very elegant wine bar that also serves great food. Quiet if you want, or you can sit out in Galerie Vivienne. The staff also speaks a smattering of English so they can help you, if you don't speak French, through the varied and interesting wine collection. A treasure of my arrondissement. Afterwards, maybe take a stroll in the nearby Jardin du Palais Royale.

Hands down, the best Boeuf Bourguignon ever! It is the signature dish at the elegant wine bar here which serves lunch until 2:30pm. And lunch at Legrand is exceptional due to the talents of the young Chef Lucie, the exceptionally well curated wines and the knowledgeable and welcoming staff.

A dream of a wine shop and they have a tasting room as well. Just go in walk around and feel the love.

A nice selection of wine in a great location of a galerie. After perusing the wares we went back and had drinks at the wine bar. My wife and I had the 08 gaillard and the 07 lavieres which were both nice. If you're into wine and in the area is a great place to check out.

A regal wine merchant who tends to cater to upmarket oenophiles with a taste for all things French. They also have a bar that offers some dishes and a relatively limited list of wines by the glass. This is more suited for those who know their French wine. You can also buy a bottle and sit at one of the tables. While staff are friendly, I didn't find anyone their who'd easily help a newcomer to French wine.

This should be on your short list to visit/ enjoy while in Paris. Outstanding selection, many rarities too and appropriate pricing here. I simply do enjoy the experiences and return without hesitation while visiting.
