Love everything about this restaurant. My husband bought a Groupon ( didn’t know they were still around) . We figured reviews were great so give it a try. Close proximity to pier 11 ferry . Booked a 5:30 dinner so we coujd make the ferry home. Walked 2 blocks to water street and took a 10 minute bus ride . The restaurant has nice ambiance . Waiters were attentive and helpful but not overbearing . Didn’t treat you differently cause you had a groupon . Ordered the pate which came with a nice salad and I had the onion soup. Both were plentiful and very good. Soup was not greasy as some onion soups can be. Bread on the table was delicious as well . Coctails were creative. Loved the melon one with basil. My salmon was cooked perfectly with generous olive flavored mashed potatoes and green beans. Husband had the coq au vin. He loved his as well . Dessert was a frozen caramel soufflé . Portions were generous for every dish. The manager went out of his way to make sure you enjoyed your meal. I was highly impressed and would come again without the Groupon. But I have up say this Groupon was a great value. Great dinner experience.. it’s 7:20 and we are back on the ferry home.

We had a wonderful dinner at Le Jardin Bistro on the Lower East Side. For appetizers, we had the country-style pate and the endive salad with apples, walnuts & Roquefort. For our main course, we both had the duck breast with roasted carrots & string beans, and a potato gratin. For dessert, we shared a caramel soufflé with ice cream. The restaurant is beautiful, they have a very interesting cocktail menu (we had their take on a Boulevardier), the food is fantastic, and the service, amazing (make sure you get Iron as your waiter; he is the king of servers). We will definitely be going back! As an aside, being partially disabled, I really appreciated the elevator to the ladies room!

We had a lovely meal. Our sever was a pro - confident, friendly, and on top of everything. The steak frites were as good as advertised. For a moment, it felt like we were back in Paris! 🇫🇷

The number provided can never be able to reached but I have a voucher requiring me booking via phone. How I can do that if my phone call can never be answered? I kept calling like 2 hours each time just get cut. — feel happy for owner responsible reply. I’ll reserve one star here to see if I’d like to rate it to five after the dinner. But, let me try to email them to reserve first :-) — we have had a great night and enjoyed our dinner with friends and families! The atmosphere was perfect there and food has a great portion and tasty.

If you bought the Groupon voucher, it would be worth it. Unless a bit overpriced. All the menus i ordered, onion soup, tuna tartare, rack of lamb, duck breast, came out bland and okay- flavors. Also, the bread was served cold. The servers were kind, but somehow, I felt they were checking our table too often.

The food was excellent 9/10. I got a medium steak, it was prepared perfectly. Our server was knowledgeable and checked in regularly and appropriately. The space itself is very beautiful, I came with a few friends but I would definitely come here again for a nice cute date or another outing with family. Overall I had a really great experience. The drinks are nice and strong too. I had a few ;)

Escargot was very good. Duck breast was very overcooked and had to be redone. Also ordered the Soft Shell Crabs but they initially brought me the Soft Shell Burger. Also had to send back and get the correct entree. New duck was cooked better but the potato was the best thing on the plate. Soft Shell crabs were very salty. More salt on them than on the French fries. The staff were professional, very nice, and ended up taking 15% off our bill.

Yelp
01/25/25 Attended a birthday. As I recently returned from Paris I was missing my French cuisine. Drinks were strong and tasty. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Escargot were well seasoned and the garlic seasoning with the bread was divine. Escargot were good. Unfortunately when you've the most amazing ones in Paris everyone after is held to that standard. I had seafoood seafood soup very tasty. Duck amazing highly recommend. Juicy well seasoned and flavorful. Steak and lamb also tasty. For desert the passionfruit sorbet was delicious. Tart and refreshing just how I like it. Staff knowledgeable and recommendations were on point. If ever in the neighborhood definitely check them out.

Yelp
This place was so delicious the first time that I just had to come back again. This time, I got some of the same items again because they were just so delicious, like the duck breast, foie gras, and the lamb chops. I wanted to also try their oysters and pate. I was most excited for the entrees but also their caramel soufflé that was sadly all sold out that evening. Their oysters were fresh and tasty and I loved the different sauces that were provided. My favorite other than the duck breast had to be the foie gras. The texture and richness of it just melts in your mouth so well and I consciously start eating slower so that I can savor it longer. I also want to shoutout the lady at the front of the house for her kindness. I arrived quite early for my reservation but she sat us down anyways because she didn't want us to be out in the cold; the weather was quite brutal that day. Shoutout to the manager as well, Jonathan, I believe his name is, he was constantly checking in on guests. I remembered him doing this on my last visit as well, so I believe this place is very consistent with their quality in terms of customer service and food quality. I can't wait to come back yet again! Thank you for another wonderful dinner.

Yelp
Came here on Sunday night around 6:30 with a reservation. The place was packed. Was asked to sit at the bar since our table was not ready. Waited about 35 minutes after our reservation for our table to be ready. So be warned if you are short on time or don't have patience. Ordered the la vie en rose, which was good but very sweet. My husband got an old fashioned, which he said had no cherry and a lot of ice. I also got the melon et basilic, which I would recommend to skip and had a lot of ice and very little alcohol. We got the French onion soup and escargots. The soup was cheesy on top and overall light. Escargot was very heavy on the garlic that I didn't really recognize what I was eating outside of that. The bread the came to the table was not cut through all the way, so that was a bit annoying to eat. I got the hanger steak, which was cooked nicely with thin fries. My husband got the duck which he enjoyed. The dessert was the creme brulee. It was average, not the best I had. Service: took awhile to get the check. Our waitress did make things slightly uncomfortable while using the pulsd certificate and was loud about all the exclusions next to our very close tables.

Yelp
Celebrating our 8th Wedding Anniversary with my honey love Matthew at the Le Jardin Bistro NYC. We enjoyed the amazing food & cocktails, great ambiance and very good customer service of Serg & Jonathan. My honey love enjoyed the cocktails very much, he had 3. Yelp
I went to their rooftop on 2/7. The rooftop is gorgeousssssss and I love how they have real plants everywhere. My friend found a Groupon for $21 that included 2 cocktails and a small plate. We found out from the manager it has only been open for 3 days. The drinks were sooooo good! I had the La Vie En Rose and the L'Esprit Du Vesper and they were 10/10. My friend had the Cœur De Normandie and girlll that was 100/10. Think of hot cider and bourbon, so good. The sliders were good until I saw they were raw in the middle. Our server Sam was very sweet. Informed the manager and he was very professional about it. Overall I would definitely come back for their drinks and the rooftop atmosphere

Yelp
The room full of chandeliers created a nice ambiance. Our server Micheal was a pure joy and was attentive even when the restaurant was extremely busy. The tartare de thon was extremely light and pleasant. The salad frisée has a great vinaigrette that balanced the rich poached egg and lardon. The steak tartare was better than some I have had in France. The space is a bit tight and they are still fine tuning who to make it work.

Yelp
What a great dining experience!! Friendly and attentive staff (Nico), the food is nothing short of amazing (the fries are top notch) , the drinks are amazing. Whether you're there for a quick bite or a full-course dinner, you're in for a treat. I love it when a general manager walks around and pays attention to the guest (Johnathon). Highly recommend!!

Yelp
I don't even know where to start!! The food and drinks were amazing, I love how cute this place is. But the service was absolutely mind blowing! Serg was so attentive, super friendly and he made our experience even more pleasant. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes with Serg's assistance!

Yelp
Lamb chops, burger. Good was great. Service was fair because it was so busy. I'm going to come back when it's not so busy. Lamb chops are good but I wish the dishes came with real. Lamb chops came with 2 grilled tomatoes and some cut of what I think was a type of scalloped potatoes thing. It was delicious but not fulfilling. Burger was amazing. No complaints.. Fulfilling. Oh, the mussels where so good but they had no more bread. It screamed for bread. They gave it to me with fries because they ran out of bread. I'd definitely go back. Solid 8 out of 10

Yelp
Large portions, delicious food, great ambiance and friendly wait staff! I would highly recommend!

Yelp
The place was romantic with all the chandlers. The food was superb. Service at first i was looking for the waiter because didn't quite understand but once everything got underway. It was great! Food was served hot not just warm which i hate. Waiters recommendations on wine was just perfect And the desert, the best desert ever! Gotta come back! One of the best around. Better mk reservations. At 5 pm they were booked pretty full.

Yelp
The escargot came unshelled which was convenient but would be nicer with the shell. But the sauce was delicious especially with some bread as a starter. Butter was cold so it would be hard to spread on the bread but I didn't end up using it. The best dish I had was unexpectedly not the lamb or the duck that we ordered but was the mushroom gnocchi. It was the best flavored out of them in my opinion. Then second the lamb and third the duck. Waiter with glasses was nice af he was the best. We originally wanted an outdoor seat but I'm not sure if it was only for VIP or something. A different waiter just said no we couldn't sit there and we didn't question it.

Yelp
This was a cute little French spot on Delancey St. The drinks were very tasty and the food was delicious. Marc, Leo, and Nixon's service was excellent. They really made sure we enjoyed our time there!

Yelp
I'm pretty familiar with most restaurants in this neighborhood. I was delighted to find that this strip had a new restaurant to try. I started off with their margarita. Really good. Really strong. Exactly what a Marg should be. Next was the Steak and Frites. I got mine medium well and the steak was cooked to the perfect temperature. Really well seasoned. The garlic butter was an excellent touch to it as well. fries were crispy and was a great portion. Definitely would comeback again for the steak. Lastly I had the creme brûlée as a dessert. It was nice, crispy on top and creamy at the bottom. Accompanying fruits were also super fresh. The decor and ambiance is very lowkey and intimate. Definitely perfect for small groups. Our server was great and very attentive. I don't think I can find any complaints. Would recommend to my friends for sure!

Yelp
Michael our server was upbeat and fun. He was an excellent server who checked back in on us throughout evening. The appetizers and entrees were very tasty. wish the steak was served with less fries and something else on the side (veggie), but the pate, salad and crème brûlée were all top notch. the gnocchi was delicious too and I am not a big gnocchi fan. Only 2 things to mention- The outside door is difficult to open and the hostess could have been friendlier (maybe she was having an off night). the ambiance is cool and the music didn't overpower your conversation. The margaritas were outstanding. Tables are very close to one another but that's how they were in Paris. A night very well spent.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Super amazing staff, manager was really welcoming and personable. Definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
The food was delicious! Everything had a nice balance of flavor. Was fresh and cooked perfectly! From the appetizers to the salads to the entrees. Service was quick and friendly and they never made us feel rushed. The manager and server checked on us throughout the night. The restaurant was intimate but not too dark with great music.

Yelp
We went last night for a birthday dinner and it was incredible. Michael was our waiter and he went above and beyond for us. The food was delicious and very large portions to boot. The restaurant is adorable and very ascetically pleasing. I would eat here weekly if I could!
