Absolutely loved this restaurant! There’s two sides, a small bakery connected with their restaurant. The service was amazing and our waiter was hilarious. I ordered the mini dutch pancakes and they were the perfect amount to the point where I didn’t feel bloated. Nice and cozy place!

I sat in and had an avocado toast that tasted fantastic. Their cozy atmosphere is the perfect place to sit down and unwind. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. If you can, try to ask for a server named Maliik; he gave the best service I've ever had! Overall, its a very nice looking place with delicious foods and pastries and fantastic service, I would definitely eat here again!

Here is why you need to be cautious about eating here: Went there twice. First time server brought me a glass of water, and it had red lipstick on it ( I didn’t wear any ). The food was good, solid 4. Second time- another server brought a glass of water holding it right at the edges- where my lips would touch the glass. Moreover, when I ordered tea - another server brought a cup holding it FROM THE INSIDE of the cup. Her fingers were exactly where I would pour my tea, inside of my cup - on the bottom…. Would you drink any of it? Additionally , I got a sandwich with black avocado. It’s such a shame, the place looks cosy and I love the music.

Cozy Atmosphere, But Disappointing Matcha The interior is cozy and inviting, but I wouldn’t recommend the matcha. It tasted like chunky green powder and wasn’t blended well. On a positive note, they have open restrooms, which is convenient.

The breakfast was tasty but they charged a lot extra to add berries and you barely get a whole strawberry added and breakfast came to about $50 for the two of us for a small breakfast

This place is amazing! Such delicious pastries to go with their beautiful interior! I’ve had their chocolate almond croissant, pear almond tart, French cream donut, and iced lattes.. Not once have I been disappointed. The staff is so nice and friendly. Truly a wonderful place to chill, eat, and even study or get work done. The vibe alone reels you in and the pastries are the cherry on top. My new fav place ☺️

Lovely avocado toast! It was very good with the egg. Nice ambiance with warm browns and golds, lovely instrumental music over the speakers, and delectable smells.

Such a cozy spot to dine in! The light classical music calms you down and allows you to get your work done. This passion fruit tart in particular just compliments the entire experience. 10/10

A group of us attending a conference nearby ate breakfast here every day. The waitstaff was attentive and brought our orders in good time. I especially enjoyed the seedy gluten free toast and their lentil soup.

Ordered a couple lattes, sandwiches and a waffle. The sandwiches were good but they came with a side of "salad" with no dressing, so just lettuce lol. The waffle was disappointing to say the least, you are charged extra for syrup, and it's a very small waffle, lacking flavor and was dry. The coffee was the most pathetic latte I have ever had. It tasted watered down, it had almost no flavor, no creaminess to it, and I couldn't even waste my time finishing it. The atmosphere is nice, but it was so cold. It felt like the heat was not on and I was just wanting to go somewhere else the whole time. Overall this place just lacks everything you need to make a good cafe in my opinion. The service was great, the food and coffee wasn't.

Rating this experience 5 stars because I guess I didn't know how lovely the seating area at this location is. We went a little later in the day and it was a total success. Although we only drank coffee, the waitress was immensely accommodating towards what was clearly the end of her shift and the end of the service. Great huge cappuccinos. If you're looking to sit awhile, stop in!

Good spot to get work done. Free wifi, some outlets along the wall that I was sitting in. Quite a large place so great selection of seats, half with natural light and the other half facing cute decor. Multiple gender neutral restrooms with no code needed. Not crowded when I went around 1pm. Great place to do work undisturbed. Food is okay; cookie was a bit burnt. Skillet egg yolks werent runny, but I also didn't eat it immediately when it came out so it probably cooked in the meantime (I also don't like yolks so this was a plus for me) Service is a bit confusing because they half serve you but I also ordered up front and no one came to check in etc.

The food service was fast as soon as we got in about 9:15 on April 10. We ordered the following: Avocado Toast with organic egg; smoked salmon omelet: matcha Latte: Belgium mocha: The food came in less than 10 minutes to our table.

Slow service, minimal staff, food is eh and pricey for breakfast. We dined in on a Sunday morning, party of 4 bill came out to $100 for 4 breakfast dishes and coffee, a bit absurd. Ordered the mushroom quiche, breakfast sandwiches which all came with a side salad, they should really rename this bc the dish was 75% salad and 25% sandwich/ quiche. Pretty small portions, definitely was surprised for a $15 dish. Ordered coffee and it was $1 additional for oat milk, and $1 additional for sugar syrup. We had to flag down our server each time to get updates on our drinks, entrees, the bill - staff seemed preoccupied and didn't prioritize us. I even had to go to another table to get salt / pepper. Wouldn't really recommend

We needed some lunch before we found ourselves in the madness of Times Square, and after we escaped the crowds of the end of the New York marathon. This place looked like an oasis, and it was. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was fresh and delicious. We had a Mediterranean Ceaser salad and a Tomato/Mozzerella sandwich. Both delightful.

This place is immaculately clean and well organized. I only bought a croissant and a bottle of water but I was treated like royalty. They have an absolutely beautiful dining room and some outdoor tables to eat at. The selection of breads and treats are fantastic. My croissant was fresh, flaky and perfect. My interaction with this store was limited but what interaction I had was textbook. I'd absolutely return. Even the prices were reasonable.

I need to write down a few words about my experience at the restaurant. I ordered avocado toast with an egg and another portion of an omelet that was not tasty. The bread was not fresh and very hard. After I told the waiter that the food was not delicious, he suggested that I pay the bill with a 15% discount, in the end I paid. I do not recommend the restaurant, and the fork and knife were also dirty, so I will not return there again.

Went here for a quick lunch after a day in Central Park and everything was great. The food, the service, and the space was a perfect place to relax and relax-energize. The flat bread was amazing and the soup was delicious. Highly recommend!

Clean, nice interior, good food, mini portions of desserts are just tiny, I don't advise you to take them, you won't even understand the taste. The cappuccino was brought in a broken cup, it spoiled the whole impression. The staff was polite and pleasant.

This breakfast, lunch & brunch spot has multiple locations around the US, and was conveniently located across our hotel. We stopped by for brunch to grab a quick meal, and weren't disappointed with the food. From the menu, we tried their: 1. Avocado Toast This dish was paired with smoked salmon, citrus and topped off with chia seeds on a sour dough bread. We were quite surprised by the portion, and this dish can never go wrong. 2. Skillet Baked Eggs This skillet dish comes with avocado, tomato, feta and side of bread. It is a perfect breakfast skillet with a little bit of everything. Overall, a solid spot to grab a quick meal in the mornings. Only thing that lacked was service, but we weren't here for long.

I adore Le Pain Quotidien. We stop here every time we stay at the hotel across from there. I just enjoy every bite of it. It's how food is supposed to taste.. wholesome and satisfying. I loved the lentil soup and the sunny bowl was a perfect combination. The only thing I want to mention is that they seemed a bit understaffed for the amount of people eating. I felt a little bad for the kind wait staff! Please be patient because the food is 100% worth it, they are doing their best!

We had breakfast at this location with friends yesterday. We sat for 25 mins before any servers acknowledged us--I had to walk up front and ask if we ordered there instead of the table. Our server, Ralphy M (whom we had earlier seen standing around, leaning against a wall/laughing with coworkers), then walked up and said, "Sup?" I asked if we could have water and order drinks. The drink he finally brought was incorrectly made and my partner found it faster and easier to go fix it himself with the barista up front. Tables were filthy with wet coffee rings and leftover food. Some glassware was dirty and had to be sent back, which was taken as if he was being inconvenienced. Overall, no hustle, no attention nor care, one of the worst serving experiences I've had in a long time. The food was good, but with so many locations of Le Pain, this is not the spot to visit. Try another location, if you must.

As someone who was traveling to NYC, this was the perfect spot for breakfast! The staff here were wonderful and were very attentive and polite. The food came out quick after ordering. Inside was warm and cozy, and they had a decent amount of seating. The mocha was delicious and a perfect morning pick me up! The turkey, bacon & avocado was fresh and full of flavor. We finished the meal off with a French cream donut which is a must have if coming here! The cream was light and fluffy, and paired well with the donut breading. I will definitely stop here again next time I'm in the city!

I tried the salmon croissant and highly recommend. I also got the chai latte and it has the perfect amount of sweetness. Everything looked clean and tasted fresh -- I can see why they got a Sanitary Inspection Grade A. The employees were super helpful when I was deciding on what I wanted.

So I stayed in the city for the week and this became my go to spot for the mornings. The food is good quality and filling. The French cream donut was my daily guilty pleasure. Light and airy, sweet but not sugary . The coffee was a solid cup every day, extremely consistent. Noting is worse than a place where the coffee is hit or miss. For me the best part was being able to go in and sit down, the staff never rushed me out or made me feel like I was wasting their time. Weekday waitstaff was much nicer than the weekend. The tartine was pleasant. I probably wouldn't order it again simply because there was other items in the menu I enjoyed much more. My son loved that the iced coffee wasn't dessert sweet, it still felt like a solid cup of coffee just on a hot day.

I am personally a huge fan of Le Pain Quotidien. Most of the time I go to the location on the upper west side in the 90s, but I was meeting a friend in midtown. My personal favorite drink is the large Matcha latte which is very good with almond milk as well. The staff is very friendly, and the food is always delicious. They also have their own jams and spreads. I will always be a fan of the avocado toast which you can get with either a sliced egg on top or with smoked salmon (my preferred choice). Their salads are also fantastic. The ONLY thing that I would change about the menu at Le Pain is for them to bring back their 6 vegetable tart which was another personal favorite. It would also be great if they added a dairy-free alternative to their hazelnut spread but that's probably a stretch. Overall I would definitely give Le Pain five stars and would recommend the food and drinks any day.

I go to this one occasionally. Always amazed by how big this place is, because I think of it as exclusively a coffee place but I guess they have sit-down table service. I am curious about the Turmeric Latte, I had a fun conversation about it when I was there yesterday. I ought to download the app

Service was slow. Order was not accurate. No one checked back at any time during the meal. Had to ask multiple times for the check.

Profit margins here must be insane. Portions were tiny, poorly made, and the coffee here was also on the cheap. Espresso to milk ratios are very skewed. Latte tasted like lightly coffee flavored milk. Atmosphere is kinda cool, as it's airy and open and the glass windows are floor to ceiling. Great for people watching but would not come back here to eat.

I ordered delivery-- the food was prepared deliciously from top quality food sources-- and the delivery was early brought by a very courteous person. My order was the Black Lentil Salad, the Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad both with their Super Seed Bread with unsalted butter on the side. I had their scrumptious lemon tarts for dessert ( the tart is teeny so I ordered 2 ) and I have some leftovers from the 2 salads. I will order from them again and often!

The food here is really great. I'm giving a three stars because of the service. It was a friday night, it was pretty crowded, and there was only one waiter. Not his fault, but it was hard to flag him down because he was so busy. We both ordered the Warm Grain Bowl, of which the first ingredient on the menu is farro. When we got our bowls, there was no farro in it. It was just basically a salad. We had to flag down the waiter again and then the server then said "they ran out of farro." It would have been nice to know that before ordering it. I'm not sure if they put in extra kale or not to compensate, because I'd never ordered it before and don't know if it's normally like that. The server brought us over extra brussels sprouts, which was nice, and it was very tasty, but it was still missing the main ingredient. The server was trying his best, but Le Pain should really hire more waitstaff.

So me and my girlfriend came here and ordered the waffles yk for a $11 a waffle I figured it would be a nice size of a waffle and I was completely wrong I can't lie, it was maybe 4 inches in circumference and I was on the verge of laughing when it came out but whatever, and they have a fly problem idk how or why but there was mad flies just hawking the food. Waffle was good but for $11 for that little thing better give me superpowers. The Ice chai latte was mad good like reallyyyyy good I would definitely recommended girlies.

I expected more since so many people love Le Pain. I thought the food was ok but there are a thousand better options in NYC. The service was quick and we were not welcome to be leisurely while eating breakfast. I will say that the lemon ginger drink was bliss.

Great spot for a faster casual breakfast. My party was seated promptly. They have many vegetarian options. I did ultimately go for the breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. The cappuccino is large in size but the quality was eh. Would go back, great for dining in or counter service.

The food was wonderful and they have a great selection on the menu. The chia pudding was so good I ordered it two days in a row. The service was also very good even when it was busy. EXPENSIVE though...good gluten free options

Breakfast sandwich had great flavor but wish that it was a bit larger. Coffee was good and the croissant was okay, nothing special.

Hands down an incredible restaurant and I'm so happy their open again. I haven't found a better quiche in NYC besides a little French cafe in Miami and France. Let's talk about their lattes and sour dough bread. Delicious! They've picked up where they left off and I'm so glad they did. Their organic healthy options has been a savior to many of us who try to eat healthy but also want to indulge sometimes on sweet and fatty organic food. My daughter's favorite drink is there incredibly hot chocolate. She enjoys pouring her own cacao. This is a family favorite and the staff are always kind, polite and friendly.

I always forget this place is right around he corner from my office which is good because it's kind of pricey. I love it though. Especially The Baker's Lunch which comes with a little of everything: soup, salad, avocado toast. The deserts are yummy too. There is a grab and go refrigerator right next to the baked goods/coffee counte Otherwise you seat yourself and wait for wait staff to take your order. This place isn't slow exactly but it succeeds in slowing things down somehow. Something about the type of food and ambiance causes you to slow down your nyc big city pace which can be really lovely and necessary to do.

I was surprised for the reviews it had.I was seated down. Food was great. The place look clean even the bathrooms. The only thing is that I didn't know it costed extra for granola and fruits added in chia pudding have to let know the costumer.Also there wasn't no wifi and the plugs to charge Im guessing didn't work.At the the end server was good took her a while to get the tab.Overall, food and service was good.

This is a great place to relax and/or work during the day. It's actually very spacious with super high ceilings. I tried their soup which was not great, so I'm not sure I would come here for anything beyond a coffee.

I just love this place, and mostly because of its atmosphere. It really reminds me of the European bakery. I used to frequent in Belgium. I love the communal table with jams and chocolate spread. The food is really good too. I especially like the open faced sandwiches with salmon or avocado to me, it feels healthy and down to earth. Many breakfast or sandwich places put so much stuff on the bread. This place is delicious in its simplicity. We were there early in the morning, around eight, service is great, and there was plenty of places to sit.

My family had a great experience and meal at Le Pain Q. Our food was super tasty and fast. Angel was our serve and couldn't have been more kind, professional, and helpful. Nice to be someplace where people really value their customers and the impact they can have on us.

The only thing I really like here is the soup. The service isn't very good, they never get my order right and the quality of food has declined over the past few months. I tried a couple of their sandwiches and they're either too small or the bread is hard.

I'm surprised they have such bad reviews. Always loved this chain. My favorite oat milk iced lattes to go. They have calories on the menu and a variety of good brunch items with healthy whole ingredients. The food doesn't have the best presentation, but hearty. I would like to see more low calorie menu items though.

The pastries were really good, but their buckwheat banana bread was a little sus. The lines went by fast. The staff was very nice.

One of the best cappuccino I have had here in NYC is in this place, I would definitely return because the atmosphere is super nice, the desserts are a delight.

I've been here a few times. It's a 4 star option if you're dining in; the food is good but overpriced and the service is hit-or-miss. It's a 2 star option if you are getting their to-go food, which is usually fresh gross and seems like it's been out for a while.

Oh my god this was the most delicious breakfast i've ever had. I ordered the egg, cheddar, and avocado breakfast sandwich and it was phenomenal. Each component was delicious they were just a little skimpy on the avocado and tomato jam but I made it work. We also shared a mini lemon tart and it was equally wonderful. Definitely coming back here :)

Service was very slow and the food wasn't very good. I got the tomato and avocado omelette and it was incredibly bland.

I thought I would like this place because I've been to many of them. But actually we had an incredibly rise waitress. She couldn't handle the amount of people that came through the doors so when I asked for water (yes more than once) she got annoyed. I had to ask the manager for the water and then miraculously they both brought water over right away. I split a smoked salmon plate with capers, someone else had dragon fruit smoothie and the waffle was by the last person (now that was an incredibly tiny waffle). I am actually going to contact management to discuss this with them. Why did I have to be the brunt of a surly waitress?

Nothing much to note about this place to be honest. Is the spelling correct? It was hard to find on google maps, it keeps telling me it's La and not Le. Big spacious area on the inside, but I was asked to sit on one of the single tables when they thought I was solo, but I explained I'm waiting for a friend so they stopped bothering me. The outside is super spacious and massive as it takes up the entire sidewalk and side of the building. But was told the wifi doesn't work out there, and then they told me it did. Ordered the matcha latte and it was good. The wifi was weak though, so don't expect to write your screen play here on your macbook pro (but really you're just browsing your friends' instagrams). Good spot to meet a friend for a quick coffee.

Yes, love the food and service. Also love that they help to community with not throwing food to garbage but instead sells it at a much much less expensive price and pack it very decently. Very worthy your trip. Thanks

We had such a great time at this restaurant. It was just me and my five and seven year olds. Very kid friendly restaurant and the tables were even well-suited for Legos

Well, if one wants a penultimate experience in rude, impatient, customer unfriendly service, this is the right place. Patrons taking a moment to look over the menu - sorry, you're wasting the precious time of the wait staff. No need to come back - it's ok; my colleagues actually didn't REALLY come here to eat, just experience the milieu of swanky staff that seemingly aren't paid to serve patrons but rather give them an experience in eye rolling. Ah well; it's perhaps a test - an understanding of the first noble truth, that indeed, all life is discontent, or suffering. I'm not sure who is suffering more though, the patrons or the server. It might be good if the latter understand the eightfold path to understand the nature of intentional action. Or maybe not.

Stopped by mid afternoon for a bit of a pick me up while walking around the city. Right off the bat, I loved the rustic yet clean decor that vibed both inside and outside (they have outside seating!). I thought the selections they had were typical of a "health-conscious" place, however I do wish that they kept the sit-down menus by the front door instead of the register- i think it would've been more tempted to go into the shut down area if I could see the menu first. I grabbed an açaí bowl from the grab-n-go section and was pretty pleased with the amount of food in the bowl. The toppings were great and the price was also typical like other smoothie bowl places too.

Nice casual spot for breakfast. The ricotta prosciutto and fig Sammie was okay - I would have preferred warm. His croissant sandwich looked great. Clean restrooms. Recommended.

I love the food and the ambience of all Le Pains and im a loyal customer but the service is truly awful in this particular location. I come here a bunch and have never had a good experience. In fact today I came for a business meeting and after 40 minutes seated I never got greeted, no water for the table, no menu and no opportunity to order. I finally left and found a different coffee shop. I really wish Le Pain service would improve because im at a point where I dont think the food and atmosphere can make up for the truly terrible service.
