Miami’s Best Rooftop Restaurants and Bars With a View | Eater Miami

"Perched atop Coconut Grove’s modern Lebanese dining destination, Amal, Level 6 is a 4,000-square-foot lounge and restaurant on the sixth floor offering views of the neighborhood’s tree canopy and Biscayne Bay’s waters. Decked out in a tranquil blend of soft blue and green shades, curved wooden elements, and glazed ceramic tiles, it serves a Spanish-inspired tapas menu and herb-infused cocktails to a well-dressed crowd." - Dara Smith

The 10 Best Rooftop Restaurants & Bars In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Level 6 is a rooftop bar and restaurant above Amal in Coconut Grove. The drinks are not bad, the tapas are just fine, and both of those things are a little overpriced. So why would you go here? Well, this is a rooftop guide, and judged solely as a rooftop, Level 6 is very good. It has a stellar view of Coconut Grove and Biscayne Bay that you can enjoy from any seat, since the walls are transparent and the space isn’t cluttered. Plus, there’s a retractable roof in case it rains. There is a gap between price and quality here, but it certainly does the trick for a gorgeous sunset drink." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino

10 Spots in Miami For Relaxing Rum Cocktails | Eater

"Coconut Grove’s most stunning restaurant, Amal, turns its top floor (also known as Level 6) into a grove of banana plants and light woods, with views over Main Highway and up into the starlit sky. The elevated vantage point begs for a premium rum cocktail like the Española made with BACARDÍ Ocho, Punt e Mes, green Chartreuse, sherry, lime, house-made thyme and rosemary cordial, and Angostura bitters. Pair it with some of Miami’s best Lebanese cuisine, like the proprietary Makanek house-made sausages stuffed with beef, lemon, pine nuts, and pomegranate molasses. Then settle in on one of Level 6’s oversized couches as you gaze up at the balmy night sky through its open-air roof." - Vox Creative

Level 6 By Amal - Review - Coconut Grove - Miami - The Infatuation

"Level 6 is a rooftop bar and restaurant above Amal in Coconut Grove. The drinks are not bad, the tapas are just fine, and both of those things are overpriced (there’s not a cocktail under $20 on the menu). So why would you go here? For the rooftop situation. Level 6 has a stellar view of Coconut Grove and Biscayne Bay that you can enjoy from any seat, since the walls are transparent and the space isn’t cluttered. Plus, there’s a retractable roof in case it rains. It’s not our favorite rooftop option in Miami thanks to the slight gap between price and quality, but certainly does the trick for a gorgeous sunset drink." - Ryan Pfeffer

Service was good. The view really adds to the Atmosphere and the weather was perfect the Friday after thanksgiving ! The food though left a a lot to be desired. Shrimp was just too shrimp tasting - very strong flavor. A proper gambas al ajillo should have a strong garlic flavor not over powering shrimp out of the sea flavor. Hamachi was okay but again- not great. Unsure why there is a green sauce. The octopus was good though. I guess you really go here for the view and drinks. So stick with that

Google
Visited location for our 10th anniversary. Loved everything : from the atmosphere to food and service. We were lucky to be assisted by Zivana, kind personality, warm smile, knowledgeable introduction to the menu, great recommendations. You guys are lucky to have her! Next time we are in town, we will be back for sure and will highly recommend this place! Paella was amazing same as mushroom croquets! Best we have ever tried! PS also Octopus is fantastic!

Google
I have very conflicting thoughts about this restaurant and I wanted to give a stellar review because I was anticipating coming here. It’s not 5 stars and I went back and fourth between 3 stars or 4 stars. My boyfriend said it’s 2.5 stars. Firstly it’s a beautiful restaurant. The view is gorgeous, sunset was amazing. The vibe and ambiance is amazing. If I was rating just on that it would be 5 stars. Service was also great. Friendly and attentive and overall great. The food, especially the paella was a big let down. Cocktail i has was ok. Mushroom croquettes were ok, the octopus was good (but not the best I’ve had) the mussels were ok ( I thought something was a bit too zippy, almost sour about the broth) Now to the paella, for a dish that’s suppose to be one of the more popular items, it was trash. Every single paella I’ve had in my life, was better than this one. It was so flavorless. You guys need to rework this menu item. I’ve had paella in fancy restaurants, Miami restaurants, restaurants in Spain and other European countries, even paella from the borough market in London and paella from food trucks were better than this one. It was not good. Infact I didn’t even want dessert after this, I just wanted to leave. They did bring out a chocolate cake dessert for my birthday which was good, but I was already so disappointed about the food. I felt bummed since this was a birthday dinner. Nothing was overwhelming good, nothing was memorable (in a good way) and nothing that makes me want to come… except for the amazing view, which isn’t enough to make me spend my money here again. This menu needs to be reworked with a new chef that understands flavor, balancing and how to entice diners.

Level Six Rooftop Restaurant should be on the Michelin list for Coral Gables. It delivers an experience that is truly a step above. From the moment we handed our keys to the valet, the quality service begins. We were greeted by a live jazz trio playing as we entered the lobby, then quickly guided to the elevator that whisked us up to the sixth-floor haven. A warm, friendly host welcomed us immediately upon arrival. The service was a touch slow at times, but it was only because the restaurant was bustling with happy, well-dressed guests enjoying a leisurely Sunday brunch—a good sign! I truly appreciated how the management team was highly visible, checking in with guests frequently to ensure everyone was comfortable. The ambiance is top-notch. A DJ set the perfect Sunday-morning vibe with lively, upbeat tunes, complemented by a solo violinist who played along to the rhythm for a refined, spectacular touch. And the view? Truly breathtaking—photos simply don’t do it justice. It’s an unforgettable panorama you have to experience in person. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and Level Six has quickly become one of my top restaurant recommendations in the Gables. We’ll absolutely be back.

Google
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken paella and the burrata, and both were amazing. The burrata especially stood out, super fresh and flavorful. The sangria was incredible, and even the Level Spritz mocktail was refreshing and beautifully made. The service was excellent! Everyone was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The only downside was that the music was really loud, to the point where we had to practically shout to hear each other. Other than that, it’s a beautiful spot with great vibes, food, and drinks.

Google
We had a wonderful experience dining here! Our server, Jesica, was attentive all night long and provided us with truly exceptional service. She made sure everything was perfect and that we felt well taken care of. The food was delicious, and the live show and music created such a fun and lively atmosphere. Overall, it was an amazing night, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Google
This is one of the best places I have been to in a while. The service was amazing and the food was to die for, haven’t had good food in Miami in a minute but this place was definitely very worth it. The Spanish tortilla was delicious and so was the rest of the food. The place is a bit small but still comfortable and not crowded. There is a lot of noise and loud music but overall not overwhelming. And the view is very nice. 1000/10 would recommend to everyone I know and cannot wait to go back

We were in the area on Thursday night and decided to come here for a drink and a bite. I absolutely loved the red carpet entrance and being guided into the elevator as we walked in by the staff. Level 6 rooftop bar was packed yet we were able to immediately place our order at the bar. We tried the beso de fuego drink with a charcuterie board and they were both very good. I absolutely loved how the beso de fuego drink came with a small chili and the charcuterie board was very tasty. I did not think I was going to like the pickled green beans but it was so good. I did have to ask for small plates when they brought out the charcuterie board, which took longer than anticipated because the bar did not have enough clean plates at that time. However, when I dropped the utensils provided, they immediately replaced them for me. They were playing great music and even had two individuals dance. I thought this was very nice. This rooftop bar was popping, especially for a Thursday night. I would definitely return.

Yelp
Grear location and fabulous views from the rooftop! The food was memorable and while limited, the vegan options were delicious. The service was also on point - from the bar staff to our attentive waitress. The only thing keeping me from giving them a 5 was the volume of the music, the playlist was great but it was way too loud. We had to raise our voices to be heard throughout the entire dinner but that may be your vibe. Perhaps I will return earlier in the day and or on a weekday - Saturday night was definitely high energy.

Yelp
We had heard a lot about Level 6, so we decided to try it for our 15-year wedding anniversary dinner. We ordered a few things off the menu with the intentions to share. We started off by ordering our drinks. I ordered Purple Sky which had Ketel One Vodka, St-Germain, lime, lavender, and fee foam. My husband ordered a Tremendo Old Fashioned. It had Woodinville Bourbon, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Banana Liqueur, Orange bitters and cocoa bitters. We both enjoyed our drinks. We placed our food order. For appetizers we wanted to try the Pan con Manchego, which is a slice of sourdough bread, tomato, Spanish olive oil and Manchego cheese. Next, we ordered Zucchini Flowers. This is a vegetarian dish which has ricotta cheese, honey, and fennel pollen. We have to say we loved it. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Skirt Steak. For the temperature of the steak, we asked for Medium Well. It had a romesco sauce, agrodolce onion, veal jus and garnished with Crispy potato. We assumed that the portion would be shareable, it is not. Last but certainly not least my favorite dessert. We ordered two desserts to give a try. I ordered Tres Leche. Which had Vanilla ice cream, tres leche cake, caramel Chantilly, and a garnish of chocolate pearls. My husband tried the Milhojas Tropical, which is a mango pastry cream, Kiwi, Dulce de leche and toasted coconut. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the food, and had good service. I'm not sure if we would go back though because the portions are just too small.

Yelp
Very mid besides the view! 2 "well" spirits on the rocks- tab came out to $69.00- would not come back, view was nice but overcharging is excessive. BOOOOO!

Yelp
Level 6 in Coconut Grove is all about the vibes. You don't come here for the food, you come here for the rooftop experience. The second you walk in and make it up to the sixth floor, you're surrounded by glass walls with almost 360-degree views of the Grove. The views are easily some of the best in the area, and that's really what makes this spot special. The drinks themselves are fine. They're definitely overpriced, but that's kind of what you expect when you're at a rooftop bar. You're paying for the setting, not necessarily the cocktails. The menu rotates with different versions of cocktails to keep it interesting. Still, it's a great spot to hit before dinner as a pre-game or even later in the night for a nightcap. It's always packed, so if you're trying to come during peak hours, don't expect to just roll up and grab a spot at the bar, come early or make a reservation if you've got a group. We've had food here once and it was okay, nothing bad, but nothing that makes me want to order food here again. That's just not what this place is about. I'll definitely keep coming back whenever I'm in the mood for a good rooftop scene in the Grove.

Yelp
Level 6 makes for a good happy hour or a night out with your girlfriends. Cocktails are well made, there is a live dj, and they have tapas that are easy to share for the table

Yelp
Happy hour + immaculate views.... That's it . That's the review. Level 6 is a must go!

Yelp
Went for just drinks and they had such a great taste! Made an easy reservation online and had friendly service the whole time. To get to the rooftop you have to go through the Amal restaurant downstairs and that was not a great first impression, servers pass by you with no regard or excuse me's. Expect to pay high prices, so don't be surprised when in the grove.

Yelp
Level 6 is one of the best rooftops in Miami with incredibly views of Coconut Grove. I came here on the Monday of a long weekend for happy hour and by 6pm the place was full. We opted for the bar for drinks, and they have plenty of seating options for the bar side. The drinks are quite expensive but the atmosphere and views are what make up for that!

Yelp
Really beautiful rooftop! Next time I would love to earlier in the day for more chill vibes it does get very packed and loud at night. The staff is nice and the manager is very helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! I honestly did not expect for the food to be as good as it was. The mushroom croquets were so creamy and delicious (I don't even like mushrooms) the paella was great, the steak was tender and juicy, the chicken was packed with flavors. I did not get to try the deserts but all of my friends that did said it was out of this world. The bacon dates were also such a delight. What I will say is that the prices of the drinks are outrageous. I would only go for the food.

Karishma N.

Yelp
Great place to come for a rooftop brunch! I really enjoyed the ambience of this place. There was a price fixe brunch and I totally recommend getting the green goddess salad as one of the options. I was surprised that I enjoyed the salad so much. Overall a good experience especially for a date brunch or going with friends. I'm sure at night it's also beautiful
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful rooftop restaurant! The atmosphere, view, and energy is immaculate. The food was very good. I had the Beso De Fuego cocktail and it was delicious! I will be returning to this restaurant and highly recommend. They had a good DJ playing music as well. Great spot for photos and big groups/celebrations. Be sure to book a reservation in advance as they get booked quickly and host private events some days.

Yelp
What a cute rooftop in coral gables! On top Of a boutique hotel it had beautiful views of the ocean, groves and city. Lovely cocktails and small bites. DJ was spinning live and servers were friendly not pushy. Great spot for a quick drink and bite while exploring coral gables

Yelp
Level 6 is an open-air restaurant and bar that's located on the 6th floor rooftop above Amal in Coconut Grove, adjacent to Greenstreet. On the Thursday night we were here it was quite busy, full of patrons both seated for dinner, and those like us who were just there to grab a drink. We were let in right away by the security staff checking IDs at street level, and invited to take the elevator to the 6th floor where we buzzed past the hostess and headed to the bar. It was standing room only but we were served right away, the cocktail menu was solid and both our drinks were good, as was the DJ they had spinning. As far as the view - When near the bar, one can stand at a drink rail that overlooks the bay area in the slight distance in front of this restaurant, which wasn't terribly impressive when we were there at night since it was so dark. We then moved over to the side, where the standing area overlooks Coconut Grove, with downtown Miami off in the far distance. This offers a better vantage at night with all the buildings lit up. Cocktails were $20 each + auto gratuity which I've seen some other reviewers scoff at, but the fact that this place is consistently full illustrates that patrons are quite obviously OK with that. I can't comment on the food, but as mentioned, the cocktail menu was varied, service was good and drinks were well-poured. As far as the view from this "rooftop" - it's only 6 floors above the street, and Level 6 is located in the section of Coconut Grove that's away from many of the newer restaurants and condos that are popping up, so there's not a lot to "see" from here. If you're looking for a rooftop experience with truly impressive views, you might try one of the better-known rooftop spots in Brickell.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is fantastic and the views are immaculate! It's a beautiful rooftop bar/restaurant. They have delicious food and cocktails. If you're looking for a fun vibe, this is the spot. You can also choose to do bottomless cocktails which include; the passionfruit Aperol spritz, sangria, mimosas and Bellinis. I chose to have 1 cocktail and it was the purple sky which had kettle one vodka, it tasted like a lavender lemonade. It was very refreshing imo. To start off we had an order of truffle fries which were great. The perfect amount of truffle and I loved the Parmesan cheese they top it off with. We shared the octopus which had a salsa verde, fingerling potatoes, and Spanish olive oil. The octopus was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was absolutely delicious. The other item we shared was the Spanish French toast. It was a brioche bread which was crusted with cinnamon sugar, topped with strawberries and ricotta! It didn't state on the menu that it had a citrus zest but I got a hint of it and I absolutely loved it. Overall, I truly recommend you check this spot out. The service is great and the food came out very quickly. It is such a great atmosphere to mingle and have cocktails with some friends.

Yelp
Our server Mimi is very nice. They had a temporary power outage (outside their control) and manager Arturo provided complimentary Mimosas until it came back (15 minutes). Nice view and classy casual ambiance. The brunch Fix Price $35 is a good value for 3 plates. Rooftop view with fans (still a bit hot for me). Pay Parking lot is adjacent. A place to return. The Manager is a true Hospitality Pro!!!

Yelp
I love the vibes at this rooftop overlooking Miami! It's definitely a low-key local spot perfect for cocktails, a quick bite, and a nice ambiance for a date. The bartender was great, and I enjoyed sipping my drink while having some good conversation.

Yelp
Amazing food service & ambience ~ must make reservations for Friday and Saturday it gets very busy. The food is so good and the view is gorgeous!

Yelp
By far, one of my favorite places to eat with a rooftop view of the ocean. Highly recommend this place if you want a beautiful view delicious food, and yummy drinks Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly This is definitely a great place to watch the sunset or enjoy good company

Yelp
Perfect date night or BFF toasting spot - gorgeous view of the marina on a chic rooftop in Coconut Grove. We found easy street parking and enjoyed happy hour there and boy it was fantastic - the cocktails were SPECTACULAR!!! We are kind of hard to excite (a bit spoiled TBH) but holy cannoli - the lavender thing and the margarita thing (it's been a couple of weeks lol) were perfectly balanced (not too sweet or spicy) and truly delightful. Trendy hip vibe. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Let me set the scene: warm coastal air, a sky streaked with stars, and then--boom--a FIRE DANCER emerges, igniting the night with a jaw-dropping performance that made the entire patio collectively gasp. I'm not being dramatic (okay, maybe a little), but it felt like stepping into a movie. Think: Maui meets Moulin Rouge. But the real magic of the evening? Daniela. Our waitress. Our guide. Our goddess of good vibes. From the moment we sat down, Daniela was a ray of light--so kind, accommodating, and genuinely warm. We had some dietary quirks and seating preferences, and she handled it all with grace and a smile that said, "You're taken care of." And we were. The drinks? Perfection. The food? Every bite was a little love letter to our tastebuds. But again, it's the combo of that unforgettable fire dancer and Daniela's sparkling service that made the night feel enchanted. Run--don't walk--to experience it for yourself. And if you're lucky enough to land in Daniela's section, consider your night MADE.

Yelp
Level 6 is a chic and hip little spot in Coconut Grove! I loved it here. The drink was delicious, had a sweetness with a kick of spice. We loved the food as well! The pan de manchego (not pictured) was sooo delicious. It was like buttery sourdough topped with chopped tomatoes and shredded manchego. The hamachi crudo melted in my mouth. And the paella was delicious too! I loved the ambiance and feel, however it was so loud in there we all felt like we were yelling at each other. The music needed to be turned down a few notches lol. Our servers and hosts were very sweet and kind!

Yelp
We went here for happy hour drink / snack. The drinks were great and the snacks a well. The view is nice and the service friendly. It is not a formal place, but great for a casual drunk or meal
google avatar

Yoel G.

Yelp
We visited the place for drinks and snacks and took advantage of the happy hour. The place has an exclusive view and a very nice Mediterranean vibe. The place was packed and the atmosphere was excellent. The happy hour menu had limited choices so we jumped into the regular menu, that is not extensive either. We tried several drinks , almost the full menu, and pleasantly surprisingly all of them were right on point ,with the right balance of alcohol and flavors. The food was also outstanding. The only who let me down was the plan con tomate, with soggy bread. The mil hojas dessert was delicious and very well presented . Bacalao and mushroom croquettes, and tuna tartare were tasty as well . We did not tried any main course. They were kind of pricey but it will be worth it to try next time. So food and drink , 5 stars. Unfortunately, still need to consolidate the service. People are very nice but they need some organization. We sat at the lounge area and we had to go to the bar to order, we gave to order the water multiple times, the croquetas got lost on the way and we had to keep asking for them. They brought dishes that we did not order and were also included at the bill, and even an extra item we did not have was added to the final bill. However, I love the place and the vibe. I will keep coming and recommend to everyone. Great place, hopefully they improve those little details, to elevate the experience to the next level.

Yelp
I'm sooo glad I finally got to check this place out! What a beautiful place with delicious food, music vibes and views! I went for a Saturday brunch/afternoon vibes with some girlfriends so we were able to snag a table, but it was packed and with reason! They bottomless drinks with are totally worth it for $35, given that a regular cocktail is $20. I order truffle fries, which our server forgot to put in (she was super busy), but after asking her after waiting for a while, she told me it was her mistake and comped it, which I appreciate. I'll definitely be back for there HH because they have a nice menu and the views are just worthwhile!
google avatar

Diandra L.

Yelp
Honestly, Level 6 is such a vibe. It doesn't get more Miami than 360 views of everything Coconut Grove has to offer - water, greenery, city life - while enjoying a cocktail. I've been to Level 6 a few times, both at night and during happy hour and it is nice every time. Their happy hour is from 5-7 and they have wines, cocktails and snacks on the menu. Their regular menu is spanish tapas inspired and has a good amount of things that sound delish. This is a great date night spot, or girls night as the ambiance is pretty chic. They typically will have a DJ setting the vibes for the evening. If you're with a larger group, I'd suggest making a reservation. Level 6 is located on the rooftop of Amal, the restaurant on the first floor of the building.

Yelp
Amazing cocktails but a little on the pricey side (given) Don't recommend on a hot or rainy day. Bartender was very transactional but made great drinks!

Yelp
This roof top was so beautiful just the view had me in amazement. You felt as if you are in another country. They have brunch and they are doing miami spice month this year which is a plus. The French toast was amazing my favorite. The paella was so delicious a must try. The dessert were tasty. Our service was exceptional we were greeted woth a smile and the manager checked up to make sure everything was good. Our waitress was very attentive and very hospitable. !

Yelp
This bar honestly exceeded my expectations... I was very impressed with the bartender there, she was great and truly a professional. They have an amazing selection of cocktails and I really loved the ambiance too. Their "Nocturno" cocktail is their take on the espresso martini and it is DELISH! It had Don Julio reposado, tequila, liquor, 43, espresso, and nutmeg. I honestly cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
I love level 6 for happy hour and Friday and Saturday's. So fun and beautiful. The service is not the best which stops me from giving it 5 stars otherwise it's one of my favorite places to go. The charcuterie board is awesome and so are the cocktails. It's also great after dinner at Amal downstairs. Sunsets here are unreal.

Yelp
Enjoyed a delicious dinner at the beautiful Level 6 in Coconut Grove on Saturday evening. The ambience was perfect, the food was delicious (even though the temperature of each meal was not as hot as I'd like), the drinks were creative and yummy, and the service, especially from Kaile, was A+ Definitely recommend for a fun night with friends/family, or for a date night. Yup, we'd go back for more.
google avatar

Veronica P.

Yelp
Popped in for a quick happy hour at the bar. The mixologists here love what they do and, in turn, dish out some elevated cocktails. The Lychee Martini is one of the best I've ever tried- and I've had my fair share . MCD hack: while you don't exactly have a view of the sunset, if you arrive around 6:30pm, you'll still benefit from gorgeous twilight-esque views over Biscayne Bay. Bonus points if you come on a Thursday to catch the sax player Need to come back to try the food next!

Yelp
We only went for some drinks, so I'd have to return another day. The service and ambiance were great. Our bartender was very friendly. I'd definitely return.

Yelp
Great experience at Level 6. It's a nice place to enjoys drinks and food with a view. We especially enjoyed the paella, octopus, and mussels. Management kindly addressed a long wait for a food item, which we appreciated. I was a bit taken aback when the server made an awkward comment about me looking underage, but I understand that as a restaurant that serves alcohol she needs to be careful and she was pleasant throughout the rest of the experience.

Yelp
Fun rooftop bar in Coconut Grove. Great to catch a sunset w/ a refreshing cocktail. It's quite versatile, as they have seating space for small groups as well as large parties. I went with a group of 15 people. Service was good, waitress was attentive, but drinks did take a bit to make it to the table (even simple ones like wine/beer..), they allow you to split the bill in up to 4 credit cards... (not too bad).. i enjoyed a nice glass of rose & apps, loved their fluffy couches, very comfortable!

Yelp
Great spot 10 out of 10!! Service was top, ambiance was top with the tables, seating, music and lighting. Def a cool Miami hot spot. Each menu item looked amazing so it was tough to choose, but everything was insanely delicious! Top items: hamachi crudo and octopus Everyone at our tables loved the croquettas. Paella looked so impressive, flavor was 8/10 for me. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Food is ok and drinks were good. The view is beautiful and the vibe is chill. It's a little on the pricey side but if you're looking to get a drink and hangout with a view this is definitely it.

Yelp
Everything about this place is top notch. The food was amazing the service was even better and the decoration really ties it all together. The terrace has a retractable awning so whether you come during the day or at night it's a pleasant vibe. We had a guest in our party with a severe food allergy and the manager personally came over and made sure there was no issues and he was such a joy! We cannot emphasize how amazing the manager of this location is, he's so sweet and personable he made us want to come back. Places like this are hard to come by in this city, we will be returning for this amazing food and service!

Yelp
Before arriving to Level 6 I was pretty reluctant given the concerns brought fourth by other guests and I want to clarify that our group was a party of 4 so I don't know how they work for larger groups or separate checks. With that said, we loved it! Upon arrival the hostess told us there would be a 15-20 minute maximum wait time, even though we had reservations. The bar area was a little crowded, so I was concerned. Nonetheless, she was able to accommodate us right away (in a beautiful spot too). The ambiance is great, a mix between a lounge and a restaurant, resembling what you would find in Sugar (East Hotel). The views and decor are beautiful. Low lights which help with the Miami heat and they also feature a retractable roof, which is very thoughtful given the weather irregularities in this city. The food was impeccable, we did the Miami Spice menu and had the branzino and skirt steak, both delicious, but the branzino was definitely the best dish. We saw the paellas and they looked pretty big, but I need to recommend that branzino- crispy skin, well balanced, the grapes gave it a different but delicious touch, and the fingerling potatoes also added to the dish's flavor. The sauce was amazing too!! The appetizers were all delicious, honestly, so you can totally go for drinks and bites. Drink quality was OK, we enjoyed the wine most though. Served at the right temperature in a hot night, that white wine won all the points. The bottle was well priced too. Our waitress disclaimed tip was included and we appreciated the honesty (harder to find in Miami these days). She was attentive, but not overbearing, allowing us to enjoy the place, the view, and food, but without neglecting us (thank you). In summary: Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service:5/5

Yelp
This roof top is on top of Amal. You do not need a reservation . It is a good spot for a girly catch up or a nice date. The spot is very serene. It's a bit on the pricier side but that is is expected in Coconut grove. The service is great. I love the interior. Especially the wall. This spot has the vibes. Think of it a chilled rooftop in coconut grove that's in an ideal location. Street parking is easy to find. I love this spot ! Great for Miami winters . I am definitely coming back .

Yelp
My friends and I arrived on Super Bowl Sunday and although we hadn't made a reservation, we were seated at the bar. It couldn't have been better! We had the best bartender! - Jorge Sanchez is amazing! He is friendly, professional, and has the most wonderful personality. Service was exceptional and the evening was better because of Jorge. There are a lot of places to go to in the Grove, but it's people like Jorge who make a difference. And all the food was great! We recommend the guacamole, gambas al ajillo, pan con tomate, truffle fries and the chorizo sliders! Add the wonderful ambiance, music and view - wow!

Yelp
The view, the food, the drinks, the vibe...all a fantastic way to spend a muggy Friday night! A little crowded and claustrophobic for my taste, but the staff were hustling and still managed to provide efficient service.

Yelp
My husband and I came here on a Saturday evening around 7pm without reservations. They didn't have seating available but we were able to sit at the bar. The view and ambiance was lovely, especially at night when the lights were on. The drink prices were our only turn off, $22 for a glass of wine! I wasn't drinking as I was 9 months pregnant so my husband ended up opting for beer. The food and service were phenomenal. My husband liked the pulpo so much that he ordered it twice. The brussels sprouts could have used a bit more grilling to be more crispy. We shared the branzino which was delicious and surprisingly full of flavors with grapes on the side. All the food is Spaniard cuisine and made for sharing. Worth checking it out for the view, food, and ambience.
