My daughter and I visited Life Bistro today for a late lunch and they serve some of the most FLAVORFUL food items I have ever had. The selections were amazing and you MUST try their Banana Pudding- DELICIOUS. We were attended to by a gorgeous lady who was courteous knowledgeable and professional. Our food was served timely and she was a great sales person offering beverages that we had never had before. The music and the atmosphere was great. My only concern with this location is that during checkout I personally was confused regarding gratuity versus tip so I left not fully knowing if I left her a proper tip as voth options are available at check out. I want to make sure that great people are taken care of. PLEASE make Life Bistro a stop on your next trip to Atlanta.

Google
The food was amazing! It's cooked to order, so don't expect fast food service. It's GREAT SERVICE, make no mistake, but you will wait for them to cook your food right. It was mine and my best friend's first time there and we weren't disappointed! I'll definitely be back

Google
It’s crazy I’ve been here MANY times and this is my first time taking a picture of my food. Life Bistro will forever be in my top 10 list not just because it’s Vegan but the food is actually delicious. This is the Portobello Mushroom Rasta pasta but the shrimp version is just as delicious. I also recommend the lasagna, the oyster mushrooms, Zucchini fries, KALE SALAD, Mac & cheese, the whole dang menu is delicious honestly. You cant go wrong!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Life Bistro on Sylvan Road is honestly the best kept secret in all of Atlanta! The food is beyond delicious and the portion sizes are excellent. I discovered it just yesterday and I’m already hooked. I had the Rasta Pasta with steak on my first visit—completely dairy-free and meat-free, yet bursting with flavor. Today, I tried the fried mushrooms, and they were just as amazing. The best part is you don’t need to be vegan to love this place—the food stands on its own. If you’re looking for a spot with incredible taste, generous portions, and 100% plant-based goodness, Life Bistro is it! My half eaten portion of fried mushrooms

Visiting the nearby military base and found this spot and it was open as advertised. Plenty of parking. Sweet little vibe as you enter. Nice noisy dim lighting. Kiara assisted at the register and is truly an asset to this establishment. I ordered so many goodies and can’t wait to dig in. They have a wide variety of vegan and alkaline for drinks and desserts. I wish I lived closer. Thank you for feeding me today. 💜

Google
I spent $70 on two items and some bread. Ordered the Rasta pasta and the blackened shrimp pasta. Both dishes are loaded with uncooked seasoning. So much so that you can’t even taste the pasta. The seasoning is so overpowering that you need to wash off the pasta just to be able to eat it. No I did not wash it off, I just tossed it out. What a waste of $70. I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all. I want my money back!

Google
10 out of 10 RECOMMEND!! I love this place. Everything had a pop of flavor. I am vegetarian and have been wanting to find some places that had fresh vegan/vegetarian food and this is it! Everything was made fresh to order, the ambiance was nice, and the drinks were even freshly made. Im used to a regular ole sweet tea and they came out with a bottle of freshly made hibiscus tea as you can see in the pictures. And it even had a kick to it. The food was so good that my skeptical husband said that "if all vegan food taste like this, I wouldn't mind going vegan." So don't walk, RUN to this restaurant!

Google
I tried so hard not to leave this review because I didn't want to publicly say anything negative about the establishment. But after several failed attempts to contact the owner Ive decided to see if this will get a response. First, Life Bistro is one of the only restaurants that offers a alkaline vegan dish in the Metro Atlanta Area and that's why I gave them so many chances to get it right. Its hard to find prepared Alkaline food period. Therefore, because I am on a special diet (Alkaline) I have placed several orders with life Bistro for the Portobello steak Rasta Pasta (Alklaine) Gluten Free. This meal is $30.00 on Uber eats. I have to order my food online because I cannot physically go to the restaurant to get it. Because I am on a special diet when I order this meal I ask them to make it without oils and without the Portobello steak. I then always ask for extra mango salsa and extra chimmichurri. I have ordered this meal now 7 times and each time there was something wrong with my food and I am sick of it to the point that I have to write this review. The issues Ive experienced were literally all over the place. This restaurant is not consistent at all. Some issues I've experienced with my meal are: absolutely no sauce on the pasta just dry noodles(I was so pissed when the uber eats man dropped that off at my house), portion size every time I ordered was less and less and this is a $30.00 meal, I would say no portobello steak but they give me Portobello steak, I pay 5 dollars for extra mango salsa and Chimmichurri and its not in the bag (this happened more than once just throwing away money), one time my food was so oily after requesting no oil I couldn't even eat it. I always called the restaurant with my complaints because I felt like I was just throwing away money and helpless because I had to order online. (I always called in to confirm my order once placed online too just to make sure my food would be right and it still have something wrong with it). The kitchen manager or whoever answer the phone would take my name and number and says that the owner is going to call me. I never received a call after multiple attempts to reach the owner. I was offered a remake that never happened because no one ever called. But at this point I dont want a remake. Yall would have to remake sooooo many of my meals. I just want yall to do right by people! I feel like I've given this establishment so much money hoping they'll eventually get it right but clearly that is not the case. I will not be purchasing any meals from this establishment ever again! I hope that your kitchen staff find some type of system that will allow them to be more consistent in preparing dishes. I can go to the Chinese people restaurant and their food gone be the same every time. Clearly yall ain't figured it out yet.

Yelp
Ordered to-go, from inside the restaurant and was greeted by a friendly worker. The menu is extensive so it took me a while to review it. The menu is only on one kiosk or online. I ordered the Lobster Bisque appetizer and it was bomb. Not one note for improvement. A+ The Portobello Rasta Pasta needed more salt and more mushrooms. B The Kale Wrap was a huge miss. It was small and bland. D I would most definitely eat here again, but I would order in advance. The wait time is a little extreme.

Yelp
#1 Restaurant smelled stinky when my children and I arrived. #2 The floor was so slippery that my oldest daughter almost fell, and my youngest daughter actually fell and hurt her knee. The cashier said, " Someone else just fell." Not one person tried to comp us. This is all on camera. Today is July 30th, 2024. #3 We ordered 3 Phillies. By the time we we were driving home, we noticed that the three Phillies did not have toasted buns as advertised in the picture.

Yelp
Titi, our server was great!!! Broke down that menu something serious. I would love to go back when there is live entertainment. So here's the critical stuff: fresh juices. Like they have a serious industrial juicer/extractor behind the counter. All of the food is vegan and plant based options. Yes, there's levels. I would suggest go with an appetite. The menu is mouth watering. Focus on how much on how much you're ordering. It adds up really quick and yes gratuity is included. Decor is comfy. My only speculation and I hate to add this. But I have to. They market as Atlanta's only elevated vegan restaurant. Eh!!! Now the food is great, flavorful and plentiful. Go with someone. I'll be back!!!

Yelp
Service was top tier. Ski made sure that we felt welcomed and appreciated even when I didn't like my entree. The appetizers had me excited for the main course. The depth in flavors made me want to meet the chefs and shake their hands. There is also a sweet potato pound cake that you did not get to see here because it was devoured before I could think about touching my camera lol. Don't skip dessert.

Yelp
For starters .. let me say there was absolutely no wait time ! We got greeted the min we stepped foot into the door. I am a total fan of pressed fresh juices however I was with my boyfriend who is not! (Not many other options for drinks) limited to just beers for alcoholic drink. (We went with water and a beer each) appetizer we ordered were amazing!!! I wish the fondue had more chips the portion of the fondue is pretty big. The Rasta pasta we ordered was too salty for my taste . (It was def the sauce on top of it not the actual noodles ) IT WAS SUCH A BUMMER SINCE IS OUR FIRST TIME IN ATLANTA COMING ALL THE WAY FROM NY and I was super excited to try soul food down south food. Over all the service was friendly and super attentive . The place is small but super intimate . Would I return again ...prob yes ! To give their sandwiches a try as they look delicious on the menu.

Yelp
First time visiting. I ordered the oyster mushroom po boy, creole mac & cheese and soursop tea. The po boy was good. The mushrooms were fried perfectly, but it didn't have much flavor. The creole Mac &!cheese was not good at all. I'm not sure what sauce they used but I couldn't finish it. I would recommend they find a different vegan cheese and also add some seasoning. Overall they customer service was great not sure if I'd return. I'd like to try other places also.

Reginice C.

Yelp
I ordered the Country Fried Soul Food Platter and large cheese sauce for pickup. Overall, the food was bland with the exception of the Mac and cheese. The fried mushroom tasted unseasoned. The mash potatoes were okay. The greens were... blah. The Mac and cheese was the highlight, but that's not redemption for how unsatisfying the meal was. The price didn't match the portion; $26. Everything on the menu seemed to be overpriced. This isn't the first time I've been to the restaurant, as I use to go to get a cupcake they carried from a local vendor. The food was overpriced back then too. Also, I was disappointed with the $6 Large Cheese sauce portion, yal, the container wasn't even half full. Overall, not a good experience and likely my last here.

Yelp
The chicken and waffles were delicious. We also ordered the mushroom Poboy it was good as well. I would recommend to check them out.

Yelp
Wow! Let me say it backwards for dramatic effect--WOW! I could use a bunch of flowery adjectives to describe the fantastic food, the warm welcoming service, and this hipster vibe this place gives. But until you get in the car, DRIVE HERE and experience this for yourself, mere words will not even explain this dining experience. Is it possible that EVERY SINGLE thing they make here is mind blowing delicious? Yes. It. Is. Get the Philly steak (made with portobello mushrooms and I don't even like those mushrooms--or so I thought). Be sure to get the sweet and spicy oyster mushroom's appetizer. I regret not getting TWO! I shared with my husband (but I really wanted them ALL for myself). And if you come here (trust me, you will kick yourself if you don't) GET THAT RASTA PASTA! Oh my my my! Allow your tastebuds this experience. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Always so flavorful. Always impeccable service!! I went the other nite and they had a comedy show!! Had dinner and a show!! Wow!

Lisa R.

Yelp
I would not even give this place one star. Life Bustro on Sylvan rd in Atlanta. The complete worst. appetizer was the fried portobello mushrooms with spicy sweet & sour sauce. The mushrooms were fried so dark I think the oil was dirty, they were mega greasy... more greasier than the greasIest chicken. And the sweet and sour sauce was not the best. The real offense was the fettuccine with so called grilled shrimp. (Vegan shrimp). I grew up around Italians all my life before I moved to Georgia. they should go to jail, I know how pasta should taste. They threw in every seasoning in the world on pasta and more salt than the lord allows. This is the next day and I still have heartburn and my blood pressure hasn't come down yet. I'm a nurse and I've been monitoring my blood pressure all day. I didn't like it but my son says I always complain when he takes me out so I forced about 1/4 of this down. I boxed the rest and purposely left it in the table, because I was not about to relive this meal later. I am not vegan, my son is, and I accompanied him to this abomination of a hole in the wall restaurant. If you want to go to the emergency room with stroke level blood pressure, then this is the place for you. I immediately ate a banana when I got home to counteract the sodium and drank plenty of water and tried to make myself vomit. These people are going to hurt someone, I do not recommend going here. Also I had a beet apple ginger drink.... I do not recommend this either. My whole meal belonged in the trash. My son has the same entree.,All this was 80 dollars.

Aniecia W.

Yelp
So we saw this place on tik tok, and I am disappointed. First I will give them props for appetizer, lobster fondue was great. My veggie burger was pretty good but that creole mac and cheese was trash, I would've been happier with the mac and cheese from Chick-fil-A. Also, I hate that black restaurants have that auto gratuity, the service was ok but she wasn't not 15.00 good. But to each his own!

Charlesha D.

Yelp
Loveeeee! They know what they are doing with the mushrooms and that sauce! I will forever be thankful to the guy who brought me here on my journey
google avatar

Yelp
A ducked-off spot in the Sylvan Rd community. I was impressed. The food was good. The service was good. The ambience was good. Will definitely return for more.
google avatar

Britney C.

Yelp
First let me say that I will be back to try more of their menu, this review is based on the creole Mac & chz which is the only item I tried. I was hoping that the Mac would be baked but it was saucy. The Cajun flavor was good but started to overwhelm my palette a bit the more I ate it. Inside has basic tables, nothing special about the decor. For me this is more of a Togo type of place than a date night spot. The lady at the register was nice and the other staff were friendly too. They make fresh juice here, looking forward to trying that and the Rasta pasta next time.
google avatar

Jalil W.

Yelp
Incredible food service vibe and live music. Drinks buss too....even if you not vegan this the spot
google avatar

Tyron H.

Yelp
I desperately wanted to enjoy the food I ordered from Life Bistro because it was my cheat day. However, the grilled shrimp were undercooked and the pasta sauce tasted spoiled. After only taking one bite of each, I felt compelled to throw the food in the sewage but settled for the trash can. Although it was only my first time trying Life Bistro, it will definitely be my last. I DO NOT recommend.
google avatar

Brownie B.

Yelp
Would be 5 stars based on the taste of the food but I have to factor in the service when ordering online for pickup and the cleanliness. Upon arriving for my order, I was told to wait another 15 minutes when I ordered when I left my residence. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me. I'm trying to support this business but they need to do better with time management. Especially if I'm driving a half hour there. Once the order was complete, the container had seasoning and handprints over it. I asked could it be cleaned and I was given napkins. Love the food but not sure if I'll be returning. In picture: Mushroom Cheesesteak which taste amazing and the containers which they came in. 5/6/23: update No longer can support this establish! You order online and still have to a lengthy wait time once you arrive. The staff isn't professional at all and I've given it 3-4 tries. Sorry but y'all have to do better with customer service. I also ordered sweet potato fries and got cubed potatoes... not for price. The portion wasn't even acceptable
google avatar

Larsandra D.

Yelp
First time eating here food was good ,was a lil wait coming out but overall I enjoyed it
google avatar

Marcus P.

Yelp
Where do i start....Lolita took exceptional care of us and recommended the fried oyster mushrooms and boy did they slap! I had the ginger bear drink and it was delicious and nutritious! I highly recommend life bistro for all of your vegan cuisine needs!

Ashley K.

Yelp
This place was anti climactic. We were starving so they had an advantage but I could taste the effort. They definitely get an A for effort. We ordered the sweet and spicy mushrooms which were decent but tasted like they were fried in old chicken grease. I know this place is vegan but they were def fried in old grease. Collards weren't really seasoned and my bf wasn't impressed with the vegan Philly. I tasted it and you can def taste the mushroom. If you're a mushroom lover than you may enjoy it but the overall taste wasn't anything to write home about . The lobster Mac n cheese was probably the star although the "lobstah" was very underwhelming. The pasta is well seasoned and it gave me macaroni salad at a Black cookout vibe. Given the taste, quality and price- I wouldn't be back. This is actually my second time here.

Rita J.

Yelp
Yesterday was my first visit I tried the rastapasta and the knoxtails they were bussin today I had the shrimp poboy the service was awesome the ambiance is very laid back I am thoroughly pleased and will try the whole menu I finally found the best vegan food i rate it 10 out of 10

Yelp
What a hidden gem! My good gal pal is vegetarian and always knows the best places to eat. When we have gatherings, I'm always considering her palette when making dishes - kale salad, veggie fried rice, fruits and maybe a pasta salad. This cozy restaurant had all the comfort food with the flavor. My friend ordered brunch - a waffle, fried zucchini wedges, vegan sausage and home fries (sweet potatoes). I ordered the black bean chili with cornbread and a kale wrap. We both had a fresh pressed juice that's infused with ginger. Everything was tasty, fresh and full of flavor. I'd hoped for more tomatoes and spice to my chili but it was still tasty. The cornbread was rather dry but perhaps with vegan ingredients? Maybe adding applesauce to be more moist. The kale wrap was really good and not over powering. They were out of the lasagna but I saw other guests eating pasta dishes. Everyone was smiling and full! Definitely take a ride to SW Atlanta for this restaurant. It's in a shopping plaza beside a laundromat but plenty free parking. Note: 20% gratuity is added to all dine in meals so now you know.

Yelp
The Food is Great, and very tasteful. Fresh Vegan Food. Also the employees are very nice, Teetee is one of the employees that goes the extra mile.. she greets you at the door with a "Welcome to Life Bistro!!"
google avatar

Ryann C.

Yelp
2nd visit from out of town .. and this visit was better than the 1st. I got the last slice of red velvet.. I didn't like red velvet pre vegan but this changed my mind forever. I ordered the oyster mushroom po boy w/zucchini fries. Hot , fresh and delicious.. everything was perfect. I would trust this place enough to become a regular.
google avatar

Eloisa M.

Yelp
Customer service was good, but unfortunately, they were really shortstaffed and my waiter was pregnant while running the whole restaurant running back-and-forth. Of course we were patient because she was definitely killing it, but it sucked seeing that she was the only one working hard. The food was okay, we did not like the kale salad it had absolutely no seasoning and looked nothing like the pictures and videos we found on the IG page. It tasted like they rinsed it and placed it on a plate. Other than that the ambiance was a vibe and we were enjoying the music.
google avatar

Yelp
The food and service was amazing! TT was attentive and super friendly! Bistro Breakfast sub Oyster Mushrooms

Yelp
This placeeee, man 10/10!! We're visiting from Cali & my gf is vegan so we decided to check this place out cuz we heard so many great things about it & let me tell you, it DID NOT disappointttt Our server Titi was SO hospitable, friendly & such a vibe. We ordered the Rasta Pasta & the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo & they were both SO fire. *chef's kiss* We coulda done without the Mac, ngl. I've had better vegan Mac & Cheese but never the less, majority of the food definitely exceeded our expectations. Fridays are live music Fridays so we enjoyed some amazing music by the artist William. The whole experience was amazing. YALL GOTTA CHECK THIS PLACE OUT
google avatar

Ariel B.

Yelp
Attended their live music Fridays. Although there were only a few folks there. We had a great time. The food was delicious and Jaala has a beautiful voice and her crowd engagement made it an even better experience.

Yelp
I'm not a Vegan, however, I love good food! The Beginning: Doing our normal FriendDateDay, Jan chose this establishment for our new find. As always, I was down for something new. Upon pulling up, please DO NOT judge a book by its cover. The inside is very clean, pretty, and has a great ambiance. The color esthetic is melanin focused with earth brown as a primary and really sets a soothing tone. Upon seating ourselves, our waitress was at the table within seconds. She arrived with a warm smile and pleasant greetings. She presented us with the menu and presented us with some of the food highlights. The Food: I decided on the Jumbo Kale Wrap with Fries. First off, hear me clearly when I say WOWSERS. I don't know who their fry cook is, but babeeeeeeeeeee..... The way them French fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. Oh yes Hunni! You know I loves me a good fry. This fry was from French Fry Dreamland and was kissed by the seasoned Gawz. If you are into fries, get you an order... Ok! Now that I have made myself hungry, let's talk the Jumbo Kale Wrap. 3 words: Fresh. Flavorful. Filling. It checked all 3 boxes and I loved it. The dressing that is drizzled on it adds a hint of tang and a splash of creamy, don't tell them I told you but ask for a bit on the side to dip the wrap in. It is amazing. I must admit, this was a very pleasing experience. I will definitely be back again to partake in more of the menu offerings. Service- 9/10 Food- 10/10 Environment- 10/10

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this spot for a while. I have a girlfriend that's vegan who came to town so we tried it. I'm so glad I chose to take her here. She loved it. She ordered the Rasta Pasta. I ordered the shrimp n grits along with the sweet oyster mushrooms. It's a lot of food. The flavors were terrific. I can't wait to come back to try some of their brunch items.

Yelp
Black-Owned Business 2 stars due to the Owner's effort trying to smooth out my frustration for waiting over 55 minutes for our order. An order that consisted of the Appetizer Sweet & Spicy Oyster Mushrooms, Seafood Rasta Pasta, the Creole Mac & Cheese & Smoky Collard Greens. Let's not blame the Pandemic for the extremely long wait. Let's not blame the Pandemic for the kitchen's small size. Let's not blame the Pandemic for overpriced food that supersedes portions. Just a few of the excuses we got in response to the unprecedented wait time inquiry. Why did my order take almost an hour & close to $45? One - Too many chefs in the kitchen, yet not enough output. Two - Delivery orders took a precedent over in-house or to-go orders. I watched the POS machine spit out orders that the Owner/Front Line employee personally navigated down the "wait" line as opposed to first come first serve. Three - Only one Server on the floor. When we arrived, it was three tables with 2 or fewer people. Almost 30 minutes later, another party of 1 came in, got seated, waited almost 10 minutes before the Server made her way over. Four - At the 45 minutes mark, I inquired about the "All Sales Final" signage above the counter/register. The Owner gave me excuses & reasons on why the best Vegan restaurant in the Southeast (I believe he stated "worldwide") is backed up. I opted not to exude any energy on bantering his thought process. Five - I was told another 15 minutes - 58 minutes since I placed my order, my name was called & was told to check my order. Too bad I wasn't able to checkmate, return my order & get a refund. The Sweet & Spicy Oyster Mushrooms was tossed together from what looked like old grease & leftover batter - nowhere near the $14 value/portion. The Seafood Rasta Pasta should be ashamed of itself for charging $22. Just by looking at the picture, the Pasta is far from "Hearty" as indicated on the menu. The five Konjac (Vegan version of Shrimp) some barely cooked, the overcooked pasta & minimal sauce was a huge waste all around. The same unfortunate sentiments for the Creole Mac & Cheese - sprinkling Old Bay on top of runny, undercooked M&C does not constitute Creole cooking. Not to mention the up-charge of $2 if you select the Creole M&C as one of the sides. The Collard Greens lacked all sorts of a "Smoky" presence & taste. $18 for two small sides of nothing. I don't recommend Life Bistro. The food concept is positive, yet the presentation, price point & portions are negative. The wait time & lack of customer check-ins/updates is downright unprofessional & inconsiderate. Absolutely nowhere near one of the best Vegan Food/Fine Dining restaurants in the city, state, or otherwise. However, the strip plaza establishment gives off a cool dining vibe upon entry. After that, all bets are off.

Yelp
The customer service needs some improvement. We came on a Sunday after and it wasn't super busy so we were able to seat wherever and the server came over shortly. They were out of the oyster mushrooms so several of their menu items where unavailable. We were brought over water just above room to with no ice so i had to request some as i like my water cold (i mean who doesn't lol). My friends chose the nachos as an appetizer but didn't get an entree since they didn't have the oyster mushrooms available. I chose the seafood Rasta pasta and it also came with a side so i chose the zucchini fries ( they we're crispy and seasoned well). The Rasta pasta was decent however it was a bit to spicy for my taste. The texture of the "shrimp" was good and comparable to the real thing. I also had a cold press juice with ginger that was refreshing.

Yelp
First time at this little gem of a restaurant. I ordered so much food and everything was beyond flavorful. The service was top notch as well. Can't wait to return!

Ms C.

Yelp
I went on a Sunday excited to try this establishment out. The food was ok. It took longer than I'd expect for our food to come out. There appeared to be only 2 people working, the cashier/waitress and the cook. I did enjoy listening to the music they played while I waited.

Yelp
Yikes! Where do I start? (Let's start with the best part first). Food: BF got the Oyster Mushroom Po'Boy and I got the Seafood Rasta Pasta. Both were insanely delicious! I almost forgot about the 1 hour wait after I took a bite out of the food. Definitely no complaints there! Customer service: One word: Yikes! It's not because they're rude. They're actually really polite. The wait is abhorrent. We waited for a little over an hour for our food. It turned out that the staff was not all there, but they didn't tell the customers until everyone was irate. Not smart. Also, NO REFUNDS. This isn't a smart thing to do when you take forever to make people's food. It'll only make your customers more angry, which was clearly apparent from some patrons who canceled their orders not knowing that they can't get their money back. From other reviews, I see that the issue is the wait. Solution: Order your food ahead of time and then call when you're half way there to make sure they've actually put your food on the stove. Would I recommend? I can't say I would. Will I be back? Most likely no, unless it's take out. Even then, not sure if I want to babysit the chef to make sure he's made my food already.

Yelp
Love the concept and the food wasn't bad... BUT I strongly recommend you get your food to go. They have my support because the food is good!

Yelp
My first time coming through. I asked a regular what I should try and they recommended Rasta Pasta. So so so good. Will be back. Great service, great flavor.

Yelp
Food is pretty good and the environment is laid back with good music. The fried oysters and the vegan philly was on point.

Yelp
Healthier Options for Alkaline traveler. Our Waitress had a playful and friendly demeanor. The seating and environment were welcoming and music was the perfect blend. We had Oyster Mushrooms, The Rasta Pasta, Quinoa and black beans, and lentil soup. All well seasoned. Come with positive vibes and no pretense and you'll love the spot. Only recommendation would be changing to square tables where they can push together for larger parties.

Yelp
There was a roach in my food. I ordered the fried mushrooms and the portobello mushroom Rasta pasta. Half way through i see a roach (resting in peace) on a piece of my pasta. Disgusting. I'm eating at home from here on out.

Yelp
Really great spot for vegan food in ATL. I ordered the gumbo and the black bean chili. Both dishes were well spiced and tasty. Also ordered the beet/ginger juice which was refreshing. This place is absolutely worth a visit especially if you're looking for more upscale vegan options. Service was great. Friendly, fast, attentive. One star off for pricing of the juice however. I know its 2023 and inflation is the new 'it' word, but charging $10 for a beet/ginger juice in a non-touristic/non-central neighborhood? That's the only negative aspect of my overall great visit.

Yelp
Had dinner here recently. I scanned the QR code on the table for their menu with prices clearly listed. The menu also flashes a note saying they automatically add 20% gratuity when dining in and I was ok with that. The food was tasty and the service was good. When I asked for the bill, the waitress just told me the total and asked for my credit card. I wasn't given an itemized bill until after I paid. Later I found out why: they overcharged every food item we ordered by 40% on top of the 20% gratuity. I only noticed the bill after we left. Please make sure to look at the details of your bill before you pay.

Yelp
IM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE FALL OFF OF QUILTY AND Consistency . This was once a place I raved about but no longer do. My pasta was so drenched in sauce & under cooked I just threw it away. I've spent over a thousand easy with them. Up into the last year every penny was worth it.

Yelp
Visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch with a friend and the food has definitely improved. I ordered the po boy with oyster mushrooms and a side of creole mac and cheese. My friend ordered the sweet and spicy fried oyster mushrooms with a side of zucchini fries. I would have preferred the bread of the po boy to have been toasted. Also the sweet and spicy mushrooms weren't very spicy, but they were seasoned and cooked well. The mac and cheese didn't give a creole vibe but it tasted a lot better than the first time I had it a couple years ago and we enjoyed it. I enjoyed the zucchini fries and I didn't think they needed the sauce provided. All in all I throughly enjoyed the food. Oh, and everything was vegan! Our food took quite some time getting to us. We were the only table, but it looked like they were getting quite a few to go orders. Our server was nice and made sure to check in on us. Definitely give them a try!

Yelp
Came here for dinner Saturday night, and the place was pretty empty. We took a while to order, but everything on the menu sounds good! I ordered the cup of lentil soup and it was very tasty! It was very thick and flavorful. It was a small serving, but large enough to be a side. (I really wanted to try the oyster mushrooms but I swore off fried food for a bit.) I didn't like that I had to wait so long for just a soup of lentils! They filled five large orders before giving me an already-prepared bowl of soup. :/ Also, the back hallway and bathroom area needs some improvement.
