The Best Restaurants In Aruba - Aruba - The Infatuation

"This Peruvian bistro on the Oranjestad harbor is the best restaurant in Aruba, full stop. Though the family-run spot opened in 2021, it’s quickly become a local favorite. Expect a long line of walk-ups, from chefs and bartenders on their night off to vacationers who simply need this to be their last meal before flying home. Prioritize the expertly made pisco sours, ceviche of the day with leche de tigre, the just-charred enough grilled cauliflower with salsa verde, and the fish with yuca purée—if you ask nicely, your server might give you the recipe so you can make the flavor-packed sauce at home. Dessert is non-negotiable—don’t make the mistake of not ordering the crème caramel. And while flan is on almost every menu on the island, theirs flecked with vanilla beans is the most delicious." - jacqueline dole

11 Places to Explore in Aruba | Eater

"Off the Oranjestad Boardwalk, seek out Lima Bistro for an authentic Peruvian meal in a stylish space. Start with a maracuyá pisco sour, which amps up Peru’s national cocktail with passion fruit. Since Peru is known for ceviche, start with the featured ceviche of the day or the special ceviche that highlights calamari and rocoto, a traditional Peruvian pepper. If you’re a meat eater, try the beef anticuchos, or skewered beef hearts, a Peruvian delicacy. Carnivores also shouldn’t miss the lomo saltado, another classic steak dish, flavored with onions, tomatoes, peppers, and mixed with French fries." - Marie Elena Martinez

The best restaurant we’ve had in our trip in Aruba. Top level service. The attention to detail was amazing and every server was warm and welcoming. Food was fantastic. While lomo saltado was the best, the lamb shank, pork chop and the branzino were equally delicious. The scallop was really good too. Definitely would come back in the future. Best make a reservation.

The reviews for this restaurant do not lie. This place is amazing. Even the butter serves with the bread before appetizers was finger licking good. Abbie our waitress was super helpful in helping us make up on our minds on what to order. Scallops were served on sea shells with some pickled sweet potato which was amazing. The lomo saltado was delicious. The rib by itself tasted a bit salty but together with side it is served with it was perfect.

Had a birthday dinner here while on vacation in Aruba and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the staff was warm and gracious. I was a solo diner, but everyone was so great that I felt like I was having a birthday dinner with old friends. I was also able to sit at the bar and watch the the skilled cooks in action and that was a real treat. By the way, everyone that works at Lima is beautiful! From the handsome cooks to the adorable bartenders to the lovely waitresses and waitors to the model-esq manager. Shout out to Ximena, Aron, Sally, and Franz for a memorable experience. I highly recommend this spot and if you're in Aruba, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Lima Bistro for a fantastic dining experience. Chef's kiss!

From the greeting to the invoice. 5star plus! I didn't verify the other reviews for Lima Bistro as whoever didn't give this place a 5 star is mistaken. No matter the issue it's still a 5. Abby served us and she was great. Sally the manager also came to see if everything was ok. Every plate is well thought out, the flavors marry themselves perfectly. The pictures are perfect and yes they taste that good! I took 2 minutes to compliment the chef. A must try if you are on the island!

This was our first time in Aruba for our honeymoon, we came to Lima due to raving reviews and we were not disappointed. This has been the best restaurant me and my husband have ever been to. We’re from Miami where flavors are an all time high and Lima took our breath away! I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a upscale dinner, especially for a special occasion, it’ll be a day you won’t ever forget, I know we won’t! They even gave us a complimentary dessert for celebrating our honeymoon. Karen was our waiter and she was very kind, attentive and helpful with giving us tips on where to go to next.

From appetizer, to the main dish and dessert everything was great! 10/10. We stayed for a week in Aruba and this was our favorite restaurant! I got the short ribs, my boyfriend got a fish entree, either the mahi mahi or grouper. Ceviche was to die for! Great ambience and service! Drinks were good as well. We tried the Paloma and we kept the drinks coming 😅Will definitely pin this place for when we come back to Aruba 🇦🇼 Make sure you put in your reservation.

We had a great dinner at Restaurant Lima. The food was very good and the portions were generous. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, both with the service and the little extras. Some dishes had a bit too many ingredients, which made them feel a bit heavy, but everything was tasty and fresh. Drinks and water were refilled regularly without needing to ask. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

Reservations are needed. Karen was the best! Ceviche, local fish Mahi Mahi, and lamb shank are delicious! French toast desert is a must try!
